Tujuan Jurnal Magenang adalah menghasilkan dan memajukan karya tulis ilmiah melalui media penelitian dan pemikiran kritis analitis di bidang kajian Teologi dan Pendidikan Kristen. Artikel yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat dalam jurnal lainnya. Abstract

Currently, learning conditions in the modern era are still often used in the form of providing information and rarely use existing technology, therefore this is no longer effective. The use of strategies in learning is very necessary because it can facilitate each learning process in achieving optimal results. . With a learning strategy, it can make learning activities run as expected by the teacher and achieve optimal results where students can easily follow the learning process. Learning activities carried out inside and outside the classroom require a media. There are various forms of learning media used today, such as audio, visual, motion, and so on. The intensity of using technology in learning is very important, but not just using technology as a learning medium or what they use but how the media is used. Descriptive qualitative research method used by researchers with individual interviews, direct observation and using library research in supporting the acquisition of the final results of the research. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Kahoot! which is used as one of the choices of learning media in varied learning strategies so that the absorption of material is increased and the situation feels more pleasant so that the results of this study indicate that lecturers can easily provide understanding and students more easily absorb material in learning PAK Anak courses, and provide benefits for a university in implementing innovative digital learning.

Abstract

The callenges in to day’s globalization world are increasingly surpising human’s life, especially in the end of 2019, under Corona Virus Pandemi (Covid-19). The emergence of virus namely the Covid-19 Pandemi has Caused Vavirous concerns for the world and especially for social life. Not only in certain sorsiety emerged about it, but panic is even more experienced in today’s world. From this panics the goverment in every country has made various efforts to evercome the fromlems, inclunding Indonesia. From this challeges, the author tries to frovide vavirous explanations regarding these challenges and in relation to hospitality, attitudes or interactions towords others, especially in the life or Christians. This article ofers an approach using, qualitative resears approach, that the literature in theological theory research, and qualitative descriptive research, that the applicatios of Christian education behavior in responding the challenges during the pandemic is the value of applying the faith of a Chirstian in social relations with others in the mids of chalenges during the pandemic. Tantangan-tantangan di dunia global sekarang ini, semakin mengejutkan kehidupan manusia terutama di akhir tahun 2019, dengan munculnya sebuah pandemi yaitu Virus Corona (Covid-19). Munculnya virus yang disebut pandemi Covid-19 ini menimbulkan berbagai kekhawatiran bagi dunia dan terutama bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat. Bukan hanya dalam masyarakat tertentu timbul kepanikan akan hal itu, namun kepanikan justru lebih dialami pada dunia sekarang ini. Dari kepanikan-kepanikan tersebut, pemerintah dalam setiap Negara sudah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mangatasi masalah tersebut termasuk di Negara Indonesia. Dari tantangan-tantangan tersebut penulis mencoba memberikan berbagai penjelasan mengenai tantangan itu dan dalam hubungannya dengan hospitalitas, sikap atau interaksi masyarakat terhadap sesama, terutama dalam kehidupan umat Kristiani. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis hendak memperlihatkan bagaimana seharusnya sikap umat Kristiani terhadap tantangan-tantangan tersebut. Artikel ini menawarkan sebuah pendekatan dengan menggunakan literatur pendekatan kualitatif dalam penelitian teori teologis, dan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, bahwa penerapan tingkah laku pendidikan Kristiani dalam merespon tantangan di masa pandemi ini adalah nilai untuk menerapkan keimanan seorang Kristiani dalam relasi sosial antara sesama di tengah tantangan-tantangan di masa pandemi ini.

Abstract

This classroom action research discusses efforts to improve student learning outcomes through the use of discussion methods. The problem in this study is that the PAK learning process in class VII rarely or less uses the simulation method. This causes various problems in the classroom, including: lack of interest in student learning, low student learning outcomes. The benefit of this research is that it can find various obstacles as well as solutions, regarding the use of the simulation method as an effort to improve PAK learning outcomes while motivating teachers to be skilled in choosing and using methods in learning to attract students' interest in learning. The results showed that by using the simulation method there was a change in students, namely students became interested, and active and motivated so as to improve student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that teachers in teaching must be able to determine and use appropriate methods

Abstract

This article proposes several characters based on Galatians 5:22-23 that can be implemented into the themes of Christian Religious Education (PAK) or Budi Pekerti that have been determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia at the junior high school (SMP) class VII. The type of research method used by the author is a descriptive method, namely by discussing the developmental psychology of junior high school students, the themes of PAK and Budi Pekerti according to the Ministry of Education and Culture, exploring character values based on the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Then, in the end, the author will implement these character values into the PAK and Budi Pekerti curriculum that has been prepared by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud).

Abstract

This study was to determine, describe and analyze the formation of moral and spirituality based on the "Kuria" child development center in adolescents in Poopoh Village, Tombariri District, Kab. Minahasa. This study uses a qualitative (descriptive) approach which was carried out at PPA “Kuria” Poopoh 2021. The data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation have been analyzed and resulted that (1) the formation of morals and spirituality in adolescents has been maximized with the existence of several programs such as retreats, discipleship, bible camp, recording, memorizing verses and other programs; (2) These programs are carried out by following the schedule determined by the staff, usually 2 meetings a week and for other programs carried out during holidays; (3) The existence of supporting factors, namely cooperation between mentors, staff and parents in supporting the program to run well; (4) As well as the existence of inhibiting factors from within teenagers who have been affected by technological sophistication such as online games and the environment; (5) The efforts made were very good, namely by approaching and trying to be friends with the children. From the data findings and research results, it is recommended for staff and mentors as well as parents to continue to control the association of children and provide coaching and more creative programs to attract children's attention in activities.

Abstract

Abstract Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yakni (1) menganalisis implementasi profesionalisme guru PAK di SMTK Kristo Manado; (2) untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi hal-hal yang ada pengaruhnya, sekaligus yang mendukung implementasi profesionalisme guru di SMTK Kristo Manado; (3) untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mengatasi hambatan kurangnya profesionalisme guru dalam pembelajaran di SMTK Kristo Manado. Pada penelitian ini terdapat metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif yang sifatnya deskriptif dengan9teknik0pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMTK Kristo Manado. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Implementasi profesionalisme guru PAK di SMTK Kristo Manado sudah berjalan dengan baik. Guru-guru melaksanakan belajar mengajar disusun dengan baik dan benar, dan juga cara mengajar dari guru-guru, dapat peserta didik pahami dengan baik. (2) Masalah-masalah yang dihadapi terkait dengan implementasi profesionalisme guru PAK di SMTK Kristo Manado adalah mengenai kompensasi yang belum sesuai dengan kinerja guru dan juga ada beberapa guru yang terlambat datang di sekolah karena kendaraan, anggaran dari guru tersebut. (3) Adapun upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah terkait dengan implementasi profesionalisme guru di SMTK Kristo Manado yaitu dengan adanya pelatihan-pelatihan mengenai mata pelajaran dan kompetensi guru, memberikan ruang untuk guru mengembangkan potensinya. Pihak sekolah berusaha memenuhi dan memadai kebutuhan sekolah meski dalam keterbatasan dana.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of PAK teachers at SMTK Baitani Pulutan, Pulutan district, Talaud Regency in increasing students' interest in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the inhibiting factors faced, and efforts to overcome them. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data obtained comes from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study include three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions The results of this study show that: 1) The creativity carried out by PAK teachers in increasing student interest in learning, namely related to the use of learning media, applying teaching strategies by explaining lessons first and then giving assignments, as well as showing videos related to the material presented; 2) Factors inhibiting the creativity of PAK teachers in increasing interest in learning, namely the lack of school facilities such as LCD learning media, the pandemic situation that does not allow carrying out discussions or study groups, the lack of seriousness of learning from students, and also the absence of efforts from teachers to be more creative in increasing student interest in learning; 3) PAK teachers are looking for other fun creative media that can be used such as pictures, posters, videos, and also PAK teachers teaching outdoors. PAK teachers must further enhance and develop creativity in teaching in schools in order to increase students interest in learning in participating in PAK learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the role of parents in remote learning according to charlotte mason's paradigm at tateli's Christian junior high school, mandolang district and to know the challenges parents face in the long-distance learning process. It is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study are parents, students, and teachers. Data collection takes place through interviews, observations, documentaries. Researchers act as live interviews to collect data through parents, students and teachers. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents in distance learning according to the paradigm of Charlotte Mason in Christian Junior High School, Tateli, Kec. Mandolang, namely parents as teachers at home, as facilitators, motivators, influences, preparing a clean and healthy lifestyle, especially in character building. The obstacles faced by parents are that they have enough time to accompany their children to learn from home, lack of understanding of the material from parents. Difficulty in operating gadgets, not being able to provide facilities and infrastructure and looking at the educational background of parents who cannot yet teach their children well good. Efforts made by parents to overcome obstacles in distance learning are building good communication between parents, teachers, and students, learning to understand gadgets, practicing good habits for being honest, respecting each other, being responsible, disciplined, diligent in praying, worship, study God’s word, always be grateful and so on.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penggunaan metode daring dalam pembelajaran PAK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Likupang Timur Kecamatan Likupang Timur Kabupaten Minahasa Utara mulai bulan januari tahun 2021 sampai pada bulan juni tahun 2021. Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data maka diperoleh bahwa : Penggunaan metode daring dalam pembelajaran PAK Di SMP Negeri 2 Likupang Timur belum berjalan dengan baik sebagai penggganti KBM normal, dengan guru memberi materi menggunakan media Handphone dengan metode penugasan berbantu jaringan internet dan aplikasi internet yaitu Google dan Whatsapp. penggunaan metode daring dalam pembelajaran PAK Di SMP Negeri 2 Likupang Timur masih kurang membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar PAK karena diperhadapkan dengan beberapa kendala yang dirasakan siswa dan guru PAK yaitu gangguan jaringan internet dan kuota, dan beberapa peserta didik cepat merasa bosan untuk belajar karena mereka belajar sendiri dirumah masing-masing, dan para peserta didik lebih mengutamakan aktivitas mereka untuk bermain sosial media seperti Facebook, Tiktok dan Game online, dan kendala ini membuat sebagian banyak peserta didik tidak ada kemauan untuk belajar. Penggunaan metode daring dalam pembelajaran PAK Di SMP Negeri 2 Likupang Timur merupakan suatu cara atau upaya sebagai pengganti siste KBM didalam kelas karena adanya virus Covid-19 sehingga KBM diganti dengan belajar melalui daring di rumah masing-masing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the efforts of Christian Religious Education teachers for students at Tateli Regeneration Vocational School, inhibiting factors in overcoming student learning difficulties at Tateli Regeneration Vocational School, solutions to overcome factors inhibiting student learning difficulties at Tateli Regeneration Vocational School. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method which is carried out at the Tateli Regeneration Vocational School, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. 2021 calendars. Data collections, observations, interviews, studies and documents. From the results of the analysis and interpretation of the data, there are indications that: (1) PAK teachers have not fully carried out their duties as supervisors. (2) The obstacles encountered by the teacher are the attention of students, lazy to study, socializing with friends, parents who are less attentive and there is no cooperation. (3) Teachers try to carry out their obligations to educate, solve problems, guide, and provide direction so that students are able to achieve educational goals and overcome student learning difficulties.
