<![CDATA[Abstract: The aim of this research is to develop alternative media as a learning aid in the COVID-19 pandemic. The media developed is in the form of scientific method-based digital comics which adopt the steps from the 2013 Curriculum which includes observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating. The developed comic media contains material about the circumference of a square for grade IV elementary schools. The comics developed were made with Adobe Photoshop software and comic life using the 4-D Research and Development (R&D) development method which includes defining, design, develop, disseminate. This research has succeeded in developing learning media in the form of digital comics in pdf and jpeg format that can be accessed via Android-based mobile phones. The results of the assessment of media experts and media learning material experts developed have Very Good quality (SB) with an ideal percentage of 85% media experts and 80% of material experts, as well as the technical quality aspects of students and parents of students 56.75% and 61.65 %. This shows that the media developed is suitable for use as a learning medium.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: A new civilization in the world of education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis has triggered the reformulation of learning activities. The consensus regarding this reformulation has resulted in a transition to a virtual-based learning process (PBV). Correspondingly, throughout 2020 there have been numerous individual studies on the effects of PBV with inconsistent findings. A meta-analysis study was conducted to analyze related findings, and consider the results for future PBV implementation. Research samples in the form of individual studies were collected from the ERIC, SAGE, and Google Scholar databases. This study considers learning outcomes as a moderating variable. The estimation method uses a random-effect model, and the calculation tool is the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software. The results of the analysis revealed that overall PBV had a moderate impact on student learning outcomes (ES = 0.67; standard error 0.15). The results of the moderator analysis revealed that the implementation of PBV was more effective in low-level cognitive domains. The implications of the research results are discussed to provide important information as a fundamental idea for further PBV research and development.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The online investigation group learning model is a learning model that can direct students to be sensitive to problems in the surrounding environment and be able to adapt to technological developments, especially in the new normal era like today. This study aims to determine the applicability of the online investigative grub learning model. The method used in this study uses the ADDIE development method which has five stages in the form of (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation and (5) evaluation. Trials of the online investigation group learning model were carried out by analyzing and categorizing student learning outcomes. Based on the trial implementation of the online investigation grub learning model, it was found that this learning model was effective and could be used in the learning process of the Citizenship Education course.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research was to see how discovery learning with Geogebra can improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The research which was held in class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Majene was a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. Data analyzed in the form of activity data or activities of teachers and students in carrying out discovery learning with Geogebra obtained through observation sheets, student response data related to discovery learning with Geogebra obtained through student response questionnaires, and data on the ability to understand mathematical concepts obtained through comprehension test of mathematical concepts. The data were analyzed descriptively, both quantitatively and qualitatively, showing that the use of discovery learning with Geogebra was able to fulfill 3 indicators of success in this research, namely learning implementation, student responses to learning, and the ability to understand mathematical concepts themselves]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to provide an overview of the grassroots curriculum development model based on ahlisunnah waljamaah (Aswaja) at the Raudlatul Athfal (RA) education level. A curriculum model for improving the quality of education in Raudlatul Athfal (RA) in Leuwimunding District, Majalengka Regency. The research method used in this research is the R&D model. The main product in this study is the grassroots curriculum model book. The product is then tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness so that the curriculum model developed is proven to improve the quality of education for Raudlatul Athfal (RA). The results showed that the curriculum model was declared valid by experts so that it could be tested to determine its practicality and effectiveness. To determine the practicality and effectiveness of the curriculum model, field trials were conducted. After conducting field trials, the results show that the implementation of the curriculum model is in the high category so that the curriculum model meets the criteria for practicality. Then the students' responses were included in the positive criteria and the quality of education was included in the high category. It can be concluded that the curriculum model has met the criteria for effectiveness. Therefore, the grassroots model based on ahlisunnah waljamaah (Aswaja) has met all the criteria for the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a curriculum model.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to analyze and describe the effectiveness of the kingdom Protista handout based on the 5E learning cycle on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Harapan 3 Medan, while the sample in this study were students of class X MIA A as the experimental class and X MIA B as the control class selected by non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by giving a posttest after the learning process was completed, the instrument used was a critical thinking ability test. The data obtained were analyzed using the independent sample t-test using SPSS software. Based on the research results, the Sig. Levene's Test for Equality of Variances is 0.763, where this value is> 0.05. This means that the variance of the data between the experimental group and the control group is homogeneous or the same. So that the interpretation of the independent sample t-test results table above is guided by the values contained in the "equal variances assumed" table. In the test results above in the equal variances assumed the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, this indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that the kingdom Protista handout based on the 5E learning cycle is effective in fostering and developing students' critical thinking skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out the online learning Obstacles of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students during the COVID-19 pandemic in Montong Sapah Village. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, where the data obtained will be described in detail so that clear information is obtained. The data sources in this study are madrasah heads, teachers, students, and parents. From the data, the source obtained data in the form of interview results. While the results obtained from this study are that there are several obstacles for teachers and students in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely 1). Mastery of basic materials is still lacking. 2). Can not use online media properly and 3). The motivation to learn online students is still lacking. 4). Unstable internet network. 5). Availability of facilities and infrastructure in madrasahs is still lacking. 6). The media used by teachers has not been able to attract students and 7). The economic condition of teachers and students who are still in the lower middle class. an alternative to overcome the learning barriers is 1). Holding a Wi-Fi network for teachers, 2). Conducting training using online learning applications for teachers and students. 3). Provide facilities and infrastructure for teachers to conduct online learning, and 4). Microsoft Office training for teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of the use of video-based on local content Flores on the speaking ability of students at SMPN 1 Ende. This research is a classroom action research with the quasi-experimental method. The results of this study indicated that the Flores Local Content Video has not affected the English speaking skill of SMP Negeri 1 Ende students because the practical learning method of speaking English does not use videos based on local content in the Flores area, but students are familiar with the implementing of English learning videos in general. The researcher hopes that this article can be useful for students and teachers as well as future researchers who will study the improvement of students' English speaking skills. The researcher also expects that English teachers can create and apply English learning videos based on local content.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The teaching skills of lecturers are applied to the techniques of mastery and delivery of material so that certain innovations are needed which are adapted to online learning. Student learning satisfaction does not appear by itself, there needs to be a role for lecturers in giving a professional impression both in online teaching skills and mastery of the material. So that in the future, student satisfaction is expected to have a positive impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to see whether or not the teaching skills of lecturers have an effect on student learning satisfaction. The sample in this study was 134 students, with data collection using a questionnaire. This research is a survey research using correlation analysis techniques and linear regression, where there is one exogenous variable and one endogenous variable. The exogenous variable is in the form of lecturer teaching skills, while the endogenous variable is learning satisfaction. The result of this research is that there is a positive effect of lecturer teaching skills on student learning satisfaction in introductory accounting courses. With a simple correlation value of 0.1194. So that the teaching skills of lecturers contributed to an increase in student learning satisfaction by 1.4%. This research is expected to be a reference for improvement for online learning system activities in order to increase student satisfaction value.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to develop teaching materials for the Introduction to Education course by integrating BBR designs in an effort to strengthen student character. This study uses the Research & Development (R&D) method with the approach of Borg & Gall. The product validation process is carried out by means of expert judgment. Data collection using a Likert scale questionnaire with 4 response options. The data analysis process was carried out in a descriptive qualitative manner. This research produces teaching material products with an average percentage of achievement in all aspects of 80.54%, which is categorized as good. Thus, this product can be an alternative teaching material in the Introduction to Education course that has integrated the BBR design, so that it has the potential to strengthen the character of students.]]>
