Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to describe the students’ self-regulated learning levels in the mathematics education program at STKIP Singkawang. The subjects of this research were all students at second-semester Mathematics Education STKIP Singkawang academic year 2015/2016 as many as 73 students. Data collection used was taken by a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques performed using the quantitative descriptive method by percentage, determine the level of student self-regulated learning used descriptive analysis technique with ideal criteria that is ideal mean an ideal standard deviation. Research result shows: 1) In terms of self-monitoring, the level of student self-regulated learning is 19% very high, 78% high, and 3% sufficient, nothing included low levels; 2) in terms of self-instruction, the level of student self-regulated learning is 16% very high level, 77% higher, and 7% adequate, nothing included low levels; 3) in terms of self-reinforcement, the level of student self-regulated learning is 3% very high, 86% higher, and 11% adequate, nothing included low levels; 4) the level of self-regulated learning showed 5% of students who have a very high level of self-regulated learning, 92% higher, and 3% adequate, nothing included low levels of learning self-regulated learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out the material needs of reading students in grade XII Vocational High School (SMK) automotive engineering to face the National Examination based on the teacher's perspective. This research was motivated by the evaluation of the development of the curriculum of the Vocational High School (SMK) of automotive engineering and the determination of the need for strengthening reading materials to face the National Examination. This research is qualitative descriptive research on needs analysis. To obtain data researchers gave questionnaires and conducted interviews with 4 teachers of grade XII SMK Automotive Engineering from the Smk English Teachers Group (KKG) Working forum. Furthermore, the results of questionnaires and interviews were used as the main data in this study. The result of this research is that according to the teacher's perspective students need mastery of reading in the understanding of grammar, function, main ideas, and text meaning to face the National Examination. Furthermore, the findings were followed up by teachers applying several reading learning strategies in the classroom such as by interpreting, guessing, & analyzing text grammatically with varied reading styles, to gain an understanding of the meaning of the text

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the impact of students' intelligence levels on writing skills (writing) in English subjects. This research is a case study research with the research subjects of seventh-grade students of one of the Islamic junior high school in Nganjuk Regency with a total of 30 students which are divided into two groups by the researcher they are a group of students with high intelligence scores and students with low intelligence scores. The researcher analyzed the IQ test data conducted by the school several months earlier (less than one year of data accuracy period) and the students' writing test results. The results of the analysis of the data obtained show that students with high intelligence scores on average have good writing skills seen from the five writing aspects used as benchmarks in this study, namely content, organization, grammar, mechanics, and vocabulary. The group of students with high intelligence scores had an average writing score of 85.33 while the group of students with low intelligence scores had an average writing score of 75.07.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of students through the application of Schoology learning. This research method was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection technique used observation and test methods. The results of this study were the learning outcomes in the cycle I showed that students who completed learning were 42% with the highest score of 88. Student learning outcomes in cycle II indicated that students who had complete as much as 93% with the highest score of 90. The average value in the first cycle was 73.39 while the average value for the second cycle was 85.14. The increase in the percentage of completeness from cycle I and cycle II was 51%. From the results of learning cycle II, it can be seen that the indicators of learning success have been achieved. The conclusion of this research is that the learning outcomes of student character education during the learning process using Schoology learning media in the students of the Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk have increased. This is indicated by the number of students who completed the first cycle by 42%, increasing to 93% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the difficulties of students in developing student worksheets (LKS) and interactive mathematics learning media. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Widya Dharma University, Klaten. The data collection method used in this research is documentation, observation, and interviews. Method triangulation techniques are used to obtain valid data by comparing the results of observations with the results of interviews. The data analysis process in this study was carried out based on the model of Miles, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that students experience difficulties in developing worksheets and interactive learning media. The types of difficulties are (1) difficulty in arranging findings or formula construction on certain materials, (2) difficulty in compiling worksheets and learning media that require students to provide varied responses, (3) difficulties in developing contextual and challenging initial problems and (4) difficulty in constructing apperception.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang belum kunjung berakhir hingga saat ini, membuat pendidikan masih harus dilaksanakan secara daring. Wacana pembelajaran secara offline pada semester genap 2021 pun belum tentu menjadi pilihan mengingat penularan covid-19 yang belum juga terkendali. Akibatnya pembelajaran online menjadi sebuah keniscayaan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa tetang pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survey yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa dan dosen di wilayah III Cirebon meliputi Kabupaten/Kota Cirebon, Kabupaten Indramayu, Kabupaten Majalengka, dan Kabupaten Kuningan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menganggap pembelajaran daring relatif sulit, membosankan karena tidak ada interaksi langsung dengan teman dan dosen, mahal karena menghabiskan lebih banyak kuota. Meski demikian pembelajaran daring dirasa dapat memberi pengalaman baru. Dosen menganggap bahwa pembelajaran daring memberikan tantangan baru dalam mengelola perkuliahan dan membutuhkan persiapan lebih lama. Baik dosen maupun mahasiswa menganggap bahwa pembelajaran secara tatap muka (offline) dinilai lebih efektif terutama untuk matakuliah praktikum dan eksakta yang membutuhkan penjelasan secara langsung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how students' motivation after being given Reward and Punishment, Kedalan faced and solutions to obstacles faced when given Reward and Punishment for Grade VIII MTs Students Nurul Yaqin Kelanjur. This research was designed with a cauldronative research method with descriptive characteristics. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behavior that can be observed. The data collection method used is observation method, interview, and documentation. Data analysis methods are inductive with data reduction preparation, data display, and inference preparation steps. The results of this study showed that rewarding and punishment in grade VIII MTs Nurul Yaqin Kelanjur has a positive influence on students' learning motivation. The form of reward applied in Class VIII MTs Nurul Yaqin Kelanjur is a reward in the form of material and non-material. Reward in non-material form in the form of praise, support, appreciation, and so forth. While the reward in the form of material in the form of giving books, certificates, trophies, scholarships, and so forth. While the form of punsihment applied is punishment in the form of speech, such as criticism, scorn, bentakan and threats. Punishment in physical form is rarely done, except in very forceful circumstances and no other punishment is used to change the student's behavior in a better direction. Reward and punishment in MTs Nurul Yaqin Kelanjur encountered various problems that can cause the application of reward and punishment to be less effective. However, by working with parents, teachers and principals can overcome various problems, so that the application of reward and punishment can be carried out effectively in increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada hakikatnya merupakan salah satu tindakan implementasi sebuah aplikasi e-learning berbasis sistem komputasi yang diterapkan di lingkungan pendidikan. Sebuah penerapan aplikasi tentunya perlu analisis peninjauan kembali terhadap keberhasilannya. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan memanfaatkan e-learning yang sudah disediakan oleh pemerintah secara online dan gratis. Analisis menggunakan Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. Dari hasil analisa data diperoleh informasi bahwa respon para pengguna (guru) masuk kategori sedang (cukup) dengan tingkat penerapan sebesar 35,9%. Abstract: The implementation of online learning is essentially one of the actions of implementing an e-learning application based on computing system applied in an educational environment. An application application needs to be reviewed for its success. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of online learning conducted by teachers by utilizing e-learning that has been provided by the government online and for free. Analysis using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. From the results of data analysis obtained information that the response of users (teachers) entered the category of moderate (sufficient) with an application rate of 35.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of students in compiling a thesis research background. This research is included in descriptive qualitative research that uses a case study approach to analyze the difficulties of students in preparing the background for thesis research. The subjects taken in this study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Widya Dharma University Klaten who took the thesis course. The data collection method in this study used the documentation method, the observation method and the interview method. The method triangulation technique was used to obtain valid data in this study. The instrument in this study used the main instrument and auxiliary instrument. The main instrument is the researcher who has a role to collect data in this study. Auxiliary instruments consist of two types, namely observation sheets and interview guides. Data analysis in this study uses the analytical model of Miles, Huberman and Saldana (2014) which consists of data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are students have difficulty in (1) identifying the problem (2) focusing on the main research problem, (3) identifying the importance of solving the main problem, (4) reviewing previous research, (5) analyzing the shortcomings of previous research, and (6) reviewed other literature to correct the shortcomings of previous studies.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperatif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah meta-analysis, yaitu metode yang menggunakan data hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah terpublis. hasil penelitian bersumber dari databes yang telah terindeks Google Scholar, SINTA, dan Portal Garuda. Kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif, dan hasil belajar matematika, data yang diperoleh kemudian ditentukan nilai effect size (ES) dan standard error (SE). Hasil analisis data menggunakan software JASP, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Cooperatif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan estimasi dampak sebesar 0,50, dengan kata lain pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperatif terhadap hasil belajar siswa berpengaruh sebesar 50% yang termasuk kategori sedang. begitu juga dengan hasil analisis variabel moderator pada klasifikasi per jenjang pendidikan. Ini berarti implementasi model pembelajaran Cooperatif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa bisa dikatakan tepat jika digunakan disemua jenjang pendidikan, terutama pada jenjang SD.
