Abstract

Abstract: A students statistical reasoning ability is needed as a good and precise foundation, so that a teacher is demanded to use the proper methods to improve students statistical reasoning. This research aims to know the appropriate methods used to improve students statistical reasoning ability and the methods steps. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is employed in three steps. The SLR stages are carried out in three stages, namely Planning the Review, Conducting the Review, Reporting and Disseminating. Article searching by using Harzing’s Publish or Perish Application and data analysis using atlas.ti with coding Histoorical Background, Context Solution, Research Questions or Objectives, Methodology, Conclusions, and Findings. The findings of statistical reasoning learning are Statistical Reasoning Learning Environment (SRLE), Experiential Learning, Blended Learning, 4MAT learning style system, and Brain-based Learning. From those methods, Statistical Reasoning Learning Environment is used primarily in the learning process. Keywords: statistical reasoning, systematic literature review, publish or perish. Abstrak: Kemampuan penalaran statistik siswa dibutuhkan sebagai bekal bernalar statistik siswa dengan baik dan tepat, sehingga Guru dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dalam penerapan penalaran statistik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode seperti apa untuk pembelajaran penalaran statistik dan bagaimana tahapan metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Sitematics Literature Riview (SLR). Adapun tahapan SLR yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap yaitu Planing the Review, Conducting the Riview, Reporting and disseminating. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research will be to see if there is an influence between students' attitudes and science process skills. Quantitative study with a sample size of 139 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire and an observation sheet. Based on the research results, there are 65.0% of students have very good attitudes in learning science and 64.3% of students' science process skills are categorized as very good. Based on the results obtained, it is known that there is an influence of students' attitudes on students' science process skills. As much as 75.7% of students' process skills in science learning are influenced by students' attitudes and 24.3% of students' science process skills are influenced by other factors. These science process skills can be trained and improved through hands-on experience such as conducting experiments or practicums. Students' science process skills will be good along with a good attitude in learning. Keywords: science attitude, science process skills, junior high school students. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian akan melihat apakah ada pengaruh antara sikap dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 139 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat 65,0% siswa memiliki sikap sangat baik dalam pembelajaran IPA dan 64,3% keterampilan proses sains siswa dikategorikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh sikap siswa terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Sebanyak 75,7% keterampilan proses siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dipengaruhi oleh sikap siswa dan 24,3% keterampilan proses sains siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Keterampilan proses sains ini dapat dilatih dan ditingkatkan melalui pengalaman langsung seperti melakukan eksperimen atau praktikum. Abstract

Abstract: The tendency to develop critical thinking skills has been carried out for a long time starting from the definition, indicators of mathematical critical thinking, and the practice of developing critical thinking. Critical thinking can be developed both individually and classically through learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze qualitatively the mathematical critical thinking process of SD Muhammadiyah Manyar students in terms of cognitive style. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of the analysis obtained students with FD cognitive style more than students with FI cognitive style. From the difference in numbers, it is in line with the analysis of the learning process where students need more teacher instruction in completing assignments. In addition, from the analysis of critical thinking aspects according to Facione (2013) of the 6 existing aspects there are 2 aspects that have not been achieved by students, namely explanation and self-regulation. Keywords: critical thinking skills, cognitive style, elementary school. Abstrak: Kecenderungan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis telah dilakukan sejak lama mulai dari definisi, indikator berpikir kritis matematis, dan praktik mengembangkan berpikir kritis. Berpikir kritis dapat dikembangkan baik secara individual maupun klasikal melalui pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis secara kualitatif proses berpikir kritis matematis siswa SD Muhammadiyah Manyar ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis diperoleh siswa dengan gaya kognitif FD lebih banyak dibandingkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif FI. Dari selisih angka tersebut sejalan dengan analisis proses pembelajaran dimana siswa lebih membutuhkan arahan guru dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Selain itu dari analisis aspek berpikir kritis menurut Facione (2013) dari 6 aspek yang ada terdapat 2 aspek yang belum dicapai siswa yaitu eksplanasi dan regulasi diri.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir kritis, gaya  kognitif, sekolah dasar.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp373-384

Abstract

Abstract The limitations of teaching materials that add values to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) open up opportunities to develop supplementary teaching materials that integrate ESD with the latest information technology to support 21st century skills. This study aims to develop a science e module containing ESD theme of Indonesian traditional fermented food to build students' creative thinking skills, and sustainability awareness. The e-module development is carried out with the ADDIE development model. This study describes (1) a description of the development stages and (2) a description of the validation of the e-module in terms of mapping ESD aspects, creative thinking skills, and sustainability awareness, and a description of the validation of the e-module media display. The results of data analysis show that the results of data analysis show that the validation of mapping aspects of ESD and media obtained the categories of excellent and good. There were several suggestions given by experts on e-modules and had been improved based on these suggestions. It can be concluded that the ESD e-module deserves to be implemented on a limited and wider scale.Keywords Education for Sustainable Development, e module, validityAbstrak Keterbatasan bahan ajar yang menyisipkan nilai-nilai Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) membuka kesempatan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar suplemen bertntegrasi ESD dengan teknologi informasi terkini dalam upaya mendukung keterampilan abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul IPA bermuatan Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) tema makanan fermentasi tradisional Indonesia. Pengembangan e modul dilaksanakan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada penelitian ini dijelaskan (1) deskripsi dari tahapan pengembangan dan (2) deskripsi validasi e-modul dari sisi pemetaan aspek ESD, keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kesadaran berkelanjutan dan deskripsi validasi tampilan media e-modul. Data validitas dikumpulkan menggunakan angket validasi dan dianalisis dengan presentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa validasi pemetaan aspek ESD dan media memperoleh kategori excellent dan good. Terdapat beberapa saran yang diberikan oleh ahli terhadap e modul dan telah diperbaiki berdasarkan saran tesebut. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the relationship between the teachers interpersonal communication skills and the learning motivation of class X MIA SMAN 11 Jambi City in the 21st Century Learning Mushroom Material. numerical data (numbers) processed by statistical methods. The population of this study were all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City as many as 132 students. The results of the Validity and Reliability Test of the Teacher Interpersonal Communication Ability Questionnaire were seen from the SPSS test results on the cronbach alpha value of 0.92 where the questionnaire was declared reliable or consistent because the value was more of 0.60. Furthermore, the results of the validity and reliability of the Student Learning Motivation Questionnaire were seen from the results of the SPSS test at the cronbach alpha value of 0.91 where the questionnaire was declared reliable or consistent because the value was more than 0.60. Keywords interpersonal communication, student learning motivation, 21st century, fungi. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MIA SMAN 11 Kota Jambi pada pembelajaran Abad 21 Materi Jamur. data numerik (angka) yang diolah dengan metode statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi sebanyak 132 siswa.Hasil Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas Kuesioner Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal Guru dilihat dari hasil uji SPSS pada nilai cronbach alpha sebesar 0,92 dimana angket dinyatakan reliabel atau konsisten karena nilainya lebih dari 0,60. Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic forces the learning process to be carried out in a blended learning manner that combines face-to-face and synchronous learning.This study aims to share the implementation of experiments that we have carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially on optics material for high schools involving prospective physics teacher students. This study uses a descriptive research method with the research subject being Physics Education students, FKIP University of Lampung, with a sample of 2017 Physics Education students who are taking Optics lectures.The results of this study are in the form of optical learning media that have been designed by students while attending lectures with distinctive characteristics made from low cost material and using simple technologies. This study proves that physics experiments can be carried out by utilizing learning media in the form of low-cost material teaching aids. In addition, physics experiments can be carried out directly without a complicated preparation. Learning activities that utilize this kind of teaching aids will certainly train students' science process skills, procedural knowledge and conceptual knowledge that is improved through hands-on activities and mind-on activities during the learning process. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk sharing pelaksanaan eksperimen yang telah kami lakukan selama pandemi Covid-19 khususnya pada materi optika untuk sekolah menengah yang melibatkan mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Lampung, dengan sampel mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika angkatan 2017 yang sedang mengikuti perkuliahan Optika. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran optik yang telah dirancang oleh mahasiswa selama mengikuti perkuliahan dengan ciri khas berbahan murah serta memanfaatkan teknologi-teknologi sederhana. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa percobaan fisika dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berupa alat peraga berbahan murah. Selain itu percobaan fisika dapat dilakukan secara langsung tanpa perlu adanya persiapan yang cukup rumit. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan alat peraga semacam ini tentu akan melatih keterampilan proses sains peserta didik, melatih pengetahuan prosedural dan konseptual yang terasah melalui kegiatan hands-on activity dan mind-on activity selama proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the profile of critical thinking skills students in science learning with collaborative learning design sharing and jumping tasks. Indicators of critical thinking skills used are based on Ennis (1985). The method used is descriptive qualitative. Lesson design sharing and jumping tasks consist of three core activities: sharing task 1, sharing task 2, and jumping task. The instruments used are observation and audio recording of the learning process. Data were analyzed by Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA). The results of the analysis show that the collaborative learning design of sharing and jumping tasks can bring up students' critical thinking skills. The profile of students' critical thinking skills in sharing task 1 activities found 6 indicators with the highest percentage at 58 percent, on sharing task 2 found 12 indicators with the highest percentage at 100 percent, and jumping task found 9 indicators with the highest percentage at 75 percent.Keywords: lesson design, critical thinking skills, TBLA, sharing and jumping task.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan desain pembelajaran kolaboratif sharing and jumping task. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis yang digunakan berdasarkan Ennis (1985). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Lesson design sharing and jumping tasks terdiri tiga kegiatan inti: sharing task 1, sharing task 2, dan jumping task.  Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan rekaman audio proses pembelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif sharing and jumping task dapat memunculkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Profil keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kegiatan sharing task 1 ditemukan 6 indikator dengan presentase tertinggi 58  persen, pada sharing task 2 ditemukan 12 indikator dengan presentase keterampilan berpikir kritis tertinggi  100 persen, dan pada jumping task  ditemukan 9 indikator dengan presentase tertinggi 75 persen.Kata kunci: lesson design, keterampilan berpikir kritis, TBLA, sharing dan jumping task.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp701-711

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to develop a flipped-classroom-based e-module through validity, practicality, and effectiveness test. The method employed in this study is research and development (R&D) with several steps undergone i.e. planning, product development, validity test, revision, and small- and big-scales try-out. The result of this study revealed that the e-module had been very valid based on the input given by the content and media experts with approximate score 91.76% to 98.40%. The practicality on teacher’s and students’ activity for the whole meeting reached the approximate score 84.44% to 98.10% which is very practical. Students’ response on the response on the questionnaire reached the highest score as big as 94.07% which was very good. On the effectiveness test, there was an increase on students’ solo taxonomy level. It can be seen from the pre-test which was initially on the pre-structural (59.17%) and uni-structural (40.83%) level elevated to the multi-structural (85%) and relational (12.50%) level during the post-test. The evaluation on the mockup product, the range score on each group is around 83.53 to 90.59 which is very good. It can be concluded that the flipped-classroom based e-module had fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness to foster students’ thinking skill in SMP Islam Pagimana. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian yaitu melakukan pengembangan e-modul berbasis flipped classroom melalui uji validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Metode penelitian berupa metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan perencanaan, pengembangan produk, uji validitas, revisi, dan uji coba lapangan terbatas dan luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memenuhi kriteria sangat valid oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kisaran 91,76% hingga 98,40%. Uji kepraktisan pada aktivitas guru dan siswa pada semua pertemuan berkisar antara 84,44% hingga 98,10% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Respon siswa hasil angket tertinggi sebesar 94,07% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada uji efektivitas, terjadi peningkatan level taksonomi solo siswa dari pretest di level prestructural (59,17%) dan unistructural (40,83%) meningkat pada posttest di level multistructural (85%) dan relational (12,50%). Untuk penilaian produk maket, rentang nilai pada setiap kelompok berkisar antara 83,53 hingga 90,59 dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulannya bahwa e-modul berbasis flipped classroom memenuhi kriteri validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir siswa SMP Islam Pagimana. Abstract

Abstract The buffer solution e-module based on the REACT strategy (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Collaborating, Transferring) has been developed and analysed for its validity and practicality levels to assist the learning process of students to train students' scientific literacy skills. This research belongs to the type of EDR (Educational Design). Research) with the Plomp model. The research tools used were interview forms, validity questionnaires, and practicality. This e-module has been verified by six expert reviews, and 9 students became research subjects in this development research. Data were analysed using Aikens'V formula, and practicality percentage. Analysis of the validity of the questionnaire data showed an Aikens' V average score of 0.89 (for construct validity). Analysis of the practicality questionnaire data showed an average score of 83% and 83% (for small groups and field practice tests). Data analysis shows that the e-module has a high level of validity and practicality. Therefore, it can be concluded that the buffer solution e-module teaching material based on the REACT strategy is valid and practical so that it is feasible to use it in learning to train students' scientific literacy skills. Keywords e-module, REACT strategy, buffer solution, scientific literacy Abstrak E-modul larutan penyangga berbasis strategi REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Collaborating, Transfering) telah dikembangkan dan dianalisis tingkat validitasnya serta tingkat praktikalitas untuk membantu proses pembelajaran peserta didik agar melatih kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini tergolong jenis EDR (Educational Design). Research) dengan model Plomp. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah formulir wawancara, angket validitas, dan kepraktisan. E-modul ini telah diverifikasi oleh enam expert review, dan 9 peserta didik menjadi subjek penelitian dalam penelitian pengembangan ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aikens'V dan persentase kepraktisan. Analisis validitas data angket menunjukkan skor rata-rata Aikens' V 0,89 (untuk validitas konstruk). Analisis data angket kepraktisan menunjukkan skor rata-rata 83% dan 83% (untuk kelompok kecil dan uji praktik lapangan). Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memiliki tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan yang tinggi. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of using an e module electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution based on guided discovery learning on student learning outcomes. This quasi-experimental study used a randomized control-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of grade X student of SMA Negeri 1 Padangpanjang in the 2021/2022 school year and samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test and the data were analyzed by n-gain test and hypothesis testing by t-test. Based on data analysis, n-gain experimental class is higher than the control class with a medium category and the hyphothesis is the use of an e-module electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution based on guided discovery learning is effect in improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Padangpanjang.Keywords: e-module, guided discovery model, learning outcomes.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-modul larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit berbasis guided discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan desain penelitian randomized control group pretest posttest design. Populasi terdiri dari siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Padangpanjang tahun ajaran 2021 2022 dan pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda serta data dianalisis menggunakan uji n-gain dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisa data, diperoleh n-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan kategori sedang dan uji hipotesis yag diperoleh sig(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima yaitu penggunaan e-modul larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit berbasis guided discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Padangpanjang.Kata kunci modul elektronik, model inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp496-504
