Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to evaluate the scientific attitude of prospective science teacher students as well as to validate the scientific attitude assessment instrument that had been developed (Moore and Foy, 1997). This research procedure includes adapting the instrument, analyzing the content validity, delivering the instrument to sample and evaluating the research data. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using factor analysis techniques to determine the contribution of each item, analysis the reliablity and Pearson product moment correlation. The research sample was 525 prospective science teachers who were taken by using random technique at University of Lampung. The results showed that scientific attitude consisted of 4 main factors, namely science is about understanding, explaining, and aiming to help other people's lives better (factor 1), I want to become a scientist (factor 2), the task of a scientist (factor 3), and science is rigid (factor 4). Furthermore, factor 3 and factor 1 as the dominant scientific attitude possessed by students, followed by factor 2 and factor 4. The scientific attitude was dominated by the understanding that science is about understanding and explaining scientific facts and the obligations of a scientist but they themselves do not really want to be a scientist. The structural model was declared valid, and according to the model fit index criteria, chisquare per df, GFI, AGFI, RMR, RMSEA, CFI, NFI, dan IFI with successive values of 1.331 (p more than 0.05) 0.981 0.968 0.022 0.025 0.91, 0.988 0.954 0.937.Keywords: scientific attitude, academic achievement, factor analysisAbstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sikap ilmiah siswa calon guru IPA serta untuk memvalidasi instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah yang telah dikembangkan (Moore dan Foy, 1997). Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi mengadaptasi instrumen, menganalisis validitas isi, mendistribusikan instrumen ke sampel dan mengevaluasi data penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan teknik analisis faktor untuk mengetahui kontribusi masing-masing item, analisis reliabilitas dan korelasi product moment Pearson. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 525 calon guru IPA yang diambil dengan teknik random di Universitas Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap ilmiah yang terdiri dari 4 faktor utama yaitu sains adalah tentang memahami, menjelaskan, dan bertujuan untuk membantu kehidupan orang lain lebih baik (faktor 1), saya ingin menjadi ilmuwan (faktor 2), tugas seorang ilmuwan (faktor 3), dan sains bersifat kaku (faktor 4). Selanjutnya faktor 3 dan faktor 1 sebagai sikap ilmiah dominan yang dimiliki siswa, disusul faktor 2 dan faktor 4. Sikap ilmiah didominasi oleh pemahaman bahwa sains adalah tentang memahami dan menjelaskan fakta ilmiah dan kewajiban seorang ilmuwa tapi mereka sendiri tidak terlalu ingin menjadi ilmuwan. Abstract

Abstract Currently in the 21st century, students are required to master various abilities and thinking skills. Students' abilities do not develop well with learning that only focuses on convergent thinking training. As a result, students have difficulty in developing and improving their ability to master the learning material. Therefore, it is necessary to have an appropriate learning model to improve students' abilities. Based on this, one of the alternative learning models that can improve students' abilities is the Inquiry Learning model. This article aims to provide an overview of the application of the Inquiry Learning model to the achievement of learning objectives in chemistry so that it can improve students' abilities. The method used is a systematic literature review from a literature review with relevant and reputable sources during the period 2017 to 2021. The results show that the inquiry learning model was able to improve students' ability to learn chemistry.Keywords chemistry, critical thinking, inquiry learning model.Abstrak Saat ini pada abad 21 siswa dituntut untuk menguasai berbagai kemampuan dan keterampilan berpikir. Kemampuan siswa tidak berkembang baik dengan pembelajaran yang hanya menitikberatkan pada pelatihan berpikir konvergen. Akibatnya siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan untuk menguasai materi pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, salah satu model pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa adalah model Inquiry Learning. Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran penerapan model Inquiry Learning terhadap ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran pada materi kimia sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Metode yang digunakan systematic literature review dari kajian literatur dengan sumber yang relevan dan tereputasi selama kurun waktu 2017 sampai 2021. Abstract

Abstract Critical thinking is one of the skills that are widely trained in the field of natural science studies. The study was conducted at a high school in the city of Padang to determine the effectiveness of ICARE-U learning (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extension and Utility) on students' critical thinking skills in the matter of effort and energy. The research method used is pre-experimental with one group pretest posttest design. The research sample consisted of one class 10 high school as many as 31 people. Critical thinking skills are viewed from 5 aspects, namely elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, strategy and tactics. Based on the results of the n-gain on students' critical thinking skills with the ICARE-U learning model, a score of 0.4 was obtained. A score of 0.4 means that students' critical thinking skills before and after being given treatment have increased in the moderate category. Reviewing the critical thinking skills aspect, it is known that the advanced clarification aspect is still experiencing a low increase. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that the ICARE-U learning model was effectively used to improve students' critical thinking skills in the matter of effort and energy.Keywords Critical thinking skils, ICARE-U learning model, work and energy.Abstrak Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang banyak dilatihkan untuk bidang studi ilmu pengetahuan alam. Penelitian dilakukan pada sebuah SMA di kota Padang untuk menentukan efektivitas dari pembelajaran ICARE-U (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extensiom dan Utility) pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam materi usaha dan energi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest postest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas 10 Sekolah Menengah Atas sebanyak 31 orang. Keterampilan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari 5 aspek yaitu elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, strategy and tactics. Berdasarkan hasil n-gain terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan model pembelajaran ICARE-U didapatkan skor 0,4. Skor 0,4 memiliki arti bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang. Peninjauan terhadap aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis diketahui bahwa pada aspek advanced clarification masih mengalami peningkatan yang rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis didapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran ICARE-U efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam materi usaha dan energi. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to determine the title and abstract about Development Of Android Mathematics in 2017-2022. The research data is taken from articles published online through Google Scholar with the keywords development of mathematics. Methods Data collection is done by checking and recording all data information about the number of articles, citations, and authors. The analysis used is full counting in the VOSViewer application. The total number of articles sampled in this study were 1000 articles with the technique of analyzing the image results obtained from the VOSviewer application, including Network visualization, Overlay visualization, and Density visualization. Data penelitian dikutip dari artikel yang diterbitkan secara daring melalui Google Scholar dengan kata kunci development of mathematics. Metode Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memverifikasi dan merekam semua data informasi tentang jumlah artikel, kutipan dan penulis. Analisis yang digunakan yakni penghitungan penuh (full counting) dalam aplikasi VOSviewer. Total artikel yang dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 1000 artikel dengan teknik menganalisis hasil gambar yang diperoleh dari aplikasi VOSviewer, diantaranya Network visualization, Overlay visualization, dan Density visualization. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to develop POE oriented E-Module with Flip Pdf Professional to practice students critical thinking skill on environmental changes materials which is valid, practical, and effective. The subject of this study is the students in grade X IPA5 in SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo. This study is a research and development. The result of this study revealed that the validity test based on the expert validation analysis (content and construction) and practitioners’ validation (teachers) obtained the x̅ score respectively 96 percent, 95 percent, and 95 percent (very valid). Practicality test as the result of the implementation of teaching and learning, students activities and responses obtained score respectively 100 percent, 89.28 percent-92.85 percent, 95 percent (very practical). The effectiveness test based on the analysis of N-Gain score in a small group obtained a score as big as 0.78 (effective). It can be concluded that the POE oriented E-Module with Flip Pdf Professional to practice students’ critical thinking skill is considered valid, practical, and effective to be used in Biology class for Grade X in SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo.Keywords e-module, predict, observe, explain, critical thinking skills.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul berorientasi POE dengan Flip Pdf Professional untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA5 di sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa uji kevalidan berdasarkan hasil analisis penilaian validator ahli (isi dan konstruk) dan validator praktisi (guru) mempereoleh skor berturut turut adalah 96 persen, 95 persen, dan 95 persen (sangat valid). Uji kepraktisan untuk hasil dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas peserta didik, dan respon peserta didik mendapatkan skor berturut turut 100 persen, 89.28 persen-92.85 persen, 95 persen (sangat praktis). Uji keefektifan berdasarkan hasil analisis N Gain score kelompok kecil bernilai 0.78 (efektif). Kesimpulannya bahwa e-modul berorientasi POE dengan Flip Pdf Professional untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi dikelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo.Kata kunci modul elektronik, predict, observe, explain, keterampilan pemecahan masalah.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp474-485

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the video assisted discovery learning model that is implemented with blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila using the experimental method and the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design has a pretest before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. From the N-gain test data, the average pretest value is 5.30 and the posttest average value is 76.30. The normalized N-gain value is 0.75 in the high category. Hypothesis testing on the data obtained tcount of 58.13 while the value of ttable at a significance level of 5 percent is 2.03452. Thus tcount less than ttable So it can be concluded that there is an effect of student learning outcomes after the application of the discovery learning learning model assisted by video implementation of blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school.Keywords: blended learning, discovery learning, high school students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan video yang diimplementasi dengan blended learning pada konsep gerak lurus di SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kabila dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Desain ini terdapat pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberi perlakuan. Dari data uji N-gain didapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 5,30 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 76,30. Nilai N-gain yang ternormalisasi adalah 0,75 dalam kategori tinggi. Uji hipotesis pada data diperoleh thitung sebesar 58,13 sedangkan nilai ttabel pada tingkat signifikansi 5 persen sebesar 2,03452. Abstract

Abstract: Learning media in schools has provided added value in the teaching and learning process. Science textbooks are not enough to achieve ideal learning. One of them is to use comics which can be said to be a pretty good visual medium. The purpose of this research is to produce an edutainment-based comic learning media that can improve students environmental literacy and technological literacy. This study uses a research and development model (ADDIE). Researchers used data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests. The data is processed so that it can improve students environmental literacy and technological literacy on environmental pollution materials. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of the Bandung National Junior High School. The instrument used for data collection in this study was a test of environmental literacy and technological literacy. The data analysis technique used mixed type qualitative methods and at the time of product field testing with quantitative methods. In the form of assessments of material experts and media experts, attractiveness questionnaires and class test results.Keywords comic media, edutainment science, environmental literacy, technology literacy and environmental pollution.Abstrak Media pembelajaran di sekolah telah memberikan nilai tambah dalam proses belajar mengajar. Buku teks IPA tidak cukup untuk mencapai pembelajaran yang ideal. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan komik yang bisa dikatakan sebagai media visual yang cukup bagus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran komik berbasis edutainment yang dapat meningkatkan literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (ADDIE). Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Data tersebut diolah sehingga dapat meningkatkan literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VII SMP Nasional Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif tipe campuran dan pada saat uji lapangan produk dengan metode kuantitatif. Abstract

Abstract: Immersive Virtual Learning is a learning that is considered meaningful for students to learn the complex concept of climate change because of the many interactions of the systems involved in it, and is considered a concept that is quite challenging for students. It is known that there are still many students who have limited knowledge about climate change so that learning methods are needed that can help them understand the concept of climate change well. This study aims to see how students understanding after learning using the Immersive Virtual Learning method, and compared with conventional learning methods. Using the Pre-Post Experiment Control Group Design involving 59 students who were divided into treatment and control classes, resulted in data showing that students understanding in the two classes experienced a significant difference, but very small improvement, even though the treatment class experienced a better improvement. than the control class. Based on this, it can be concluded that students understanding has increased slightly after learning to use the Immersive Virtual Learning method.Keywords: immersive virtual learning, understanding, climate change.Abstrak: Immersive Virtual Learning merupakan pembelajaran yang dinilai bermakna bagi siswa untuk mempelajari konsep perubahan iklim yang kompleks karena banyaknya interaksi sistem yang terlibat di dalamnya, serta dianggap menjadi konsep yang cukup menantang bagi siswa. Diketahui masih banyak siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan terbatas mengenai perubahan iklim hingga diperlukannya metode pembelajaran yang dapat membantu mereka memahami konsep perubahan iklim dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana pemahaman siswa setelah belajar menggunakan metode Immersive Virtual Learning, dan dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Menggunakan desain Pre-Post Experiment Control Group Design dengan melibatkan 59 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, menghasilkan data yang menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa di kedua kelas mengalami perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan, namun sangat kecil, meskipun kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to know the correlation between online learning and students’ learning interest on biology course. This study is a correlational quantitative research. The sampling technique is purposive sample with a total sample of 164 students. The technique employed for data collection is preliminary observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique employed used are descriptive statistical data, data normality test, linearity test and Pearson product moment correlation test. The result of this study revealed that there is a significantly positive correlation between the online learning and students learning interest on Biology course with correlation coefficient (r) more than 0.675 which was considered as strong correlation at level of 0.05 with the score of tcount more than ttable is equal to 11.671 more than 1.654 in other words, the better the implementation of online learning, the better the students’ learning interest on Biology Course. Teachers’ innovation in online learning can support students learning interests because learning interests are not permanent so teachers must have the ability to create interesting online learning.Keywords online learning, students learning interest, biology.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pembelajaran daring dengan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik sampling purposive sample dengan jumlah sampel 164 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi awal, wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data statistik deskiptif, uji normalitas data, uji linearitas dan uji korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menemukan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pembelajaran daring dengan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi dengan koefesien korelasi (r) sama dengan 0,675 kategori hubungan kuat pada taraf 0.05 dengan nilai thitung lebih dari ttabel sama dengan 11,671 lebih dari 1,654 dengan kata lain semakin baik pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring, semakin baik pula minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe students' perceptions of the application of the Blended Learning model in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 40 students from SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The object of research is students' perceptions of Blended learning during Covid 19. The research data are analysed by finding the percentage and describing students' perceptions of blended learning. Based on the results of the study showed that as many as 47 percent of students felt enthusiastic and liked the direct learning process because the learning methods used by teachers varied despite having limited time, 45 percent of students always experienced problems in accessing the learning provided by the teacher, and 46 percent of students dared to learn. express opinions, both face-to-face learning and online learning. Based on this research, it can be concluded that more students like Limited Face-to-face Meetings (PTMT) than online learning. Keywords blended learning, online Learning, face-to-face, mathematics, perception. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan model Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran matematika selama pandemi COVID-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 40 orang siswa yang berasal dari SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. Objek penelitian adalah persepsi siswa terhadap Blended learning selama Covid 19. Data hasil penelitian di dianalisis dengan cara mencari persentase dan mendesripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap blended learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 47 persen siswa merasa antusias dan menyukai proses pembelajaran secara langsung karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru bervariasi meskipun memiliki waktu yang terbatas, 45 persen siswa selalu mengalami kendala dalam mengakses pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru, dan 46 persen siswa berani belajar mengemukakan pendapat, baik pembelajaran tatap muka maupun pembelajaran online. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa lebih banyak siswa yang menyukai Pertemuan Tatap Muka Terbatas (PTMT) daripada pembelajaran online. Kata kunci blended  learning, pembelajaran online, tatap muka, matematika, Persepsi.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp793-804
