Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine various strategies for internalizing the disciplinary character of junior high school students applied by schools and teachers in order to create effective learning in the classroom. This is based on violations committed by students, even though school rules have been applied. Through the instillation of discipline in students, it is hoped that self-awareness will emerge to comply with applicable rules/norms, not because of a sense of compulsion to obey applicable rules/norms.  This type ofresearch is descriptive qualitative research, where the data collected are data from observations in the field, and interviews with principals, curriculum wakasek, student affairs, teachers, and students, as well as from literature that supports the concept of internalization of disciplinary character. The data validity technique used is a triangulation technique. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that there are three approaches in internalizing the disciplinary character of students in SMP Negeri 3 Sumber, namely the school culture approach, Classroom Management/Climate, and social-emotional development through extracurricular activities and social care movements. As for the implementation of the strategy of internalizing the character of student discipline, there are no violations that exceed reasonable limits such as drugs and others, but they have not been 100% successful, there are still those who violate school rules. The obstacles that cause it are lack of cooperation between parents and the school, social and conformity factors, difficult transportation, and mediocre family economy. Keywords: strategy, internalization, disciplined character.

This research used data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The sample studied was 100 Serviceman respondents (Technicians and Senior Technicians) at PT Trakindo Utama Sumbagsel. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression methods. The research results on the Training variable (X1) have a positive and significant influence on Serviceman Performance (Y) at PT Trakindo Utama Sumbagsel. The Competency variable (X2) does not have a positive and significant influence on Serviceman Performance (Y) at PT Trakindo Utama Sumbagsel. Companies need to review the training programs that have been created and provided to Servicemen to see whether they are in accordance with the wishes and needs of the Servicemen, because from this research there are Servicemen who are of the opinion that the training they have participated in is not in accordance with the wishes and needs of the Servicemen to improve their abilities to support work performance. Keywords: Training, Competence, Serviceman Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT Thinking spatial is essential for students to develop in geography learning. This is useful for students to analyze geosphere phenomena from a spatial perspective. The selection of a learning model is critical to develop students' abilities. However, the ability to think spatially in class XII IPS 2 MAN Kota Blitar is still low. A students' spatial thinking skills in the pre-cycle, namely 43.77. One of the reasons for this lack of spatial thinking skills is that teachers lack innovation in using instructional media and often use the lecture method. This research aims to improve learning and students' spatial thinking skills by applying the geographic inquiry model with the help of a virtual panoramic geospatial. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is divided into two cycles with descriptive quantitative analysis. The results show that after applying the geographical inquiry model with the help of a panoramic virtual geospatial, the spatial thinking ability test score for cycle 1 was 64.76, and cycle 2 was 77.56. This indicates that students' spatial thinking skills always increase every cycle. Implementing the geographic inquiry model, assisted by a virtual panoramic geospatial, can help students better interpret a geographical phenomenon from a spatial perspective. Keywords: Spatial thinking skills; Geographical Inquiry; Geospatial virtual panoramic.
