Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview and deep understanding of the role of women in society, especially the stereotypes of women in the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban and Geni Jora by Abidah El Khalieqy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data sources in this study are novels by Abidah El Khalieqy including: Women Berkalung Sorban (2001) and Geni Jora (2004). Data collection techniques are in the form of document searches. In this case, the form of awareness and flow of feminist thought contained in Indonesian literary texts is understood to mean the use of feminism studies. The data analysis procedure used in this study is content analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik, implementasinya dan hasil dari implementasi tersebut di SD Negeri 12 Betung. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa 1) strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik yaitu a) pengintegrasian ke dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler, b) pengintegrasian ke dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; c) pembiasaan di sekolah; 2) implementasi strategi tersebut a) mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam setiap mata pelajaran atau tema dan muatan lokal; b) mengintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di SD Negeri 12 Betung antara lain pramuka, dokter cilik, dan drumband dengan cara pemberian motivasi, pemberian nasihat, pemberian penghargaan atau hadiah, pemberian sanksi dan keteladanan; c) keteladanan, kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, dan pengkondisian; 3) hasil implementasi strategi tersebut dapat dilihat pada a) penilaian afektif, b) nilai rapor siswa, dan c) buku konseling. Dari ketiga penilaian di atas hasil implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan di SD Negeri 12 Betung termasuk kategori baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode tutor sebaya dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Tanjung Raja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Tanjung Raja sebanyak 471 siswa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 83 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif, analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan instrumen berupa angket dengan masing-masing 20 pertanyaan untuk tiga variabel yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) ada pengaruh metode tutor sebaya tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. (2) ada pengaruh motivasi yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. (3) ada pengaruh penerapan metode tutor sebaya dan motivasi secara bersama-sama yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis cara meningkatan profesionalisme guru SMA Negeri 1 Lais Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin melalui supervisi kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa melalui supervisi, kepala sekolah ternyata mampu meningkatkan profesionalime guru. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan diutusnya para guru untuk mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan diklat dan seminar. Saat memimpin rapat, kepala sekolah selalu memberikan arahan kepada guru, tenaga kependidikan, peserta didik, untuk mengikuti perkembangan iptek, dan memberi teladan yang baik. Memberikan arahan kepada guru-guru bagaimana melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang baik dan mengacu kepada kurikulum yang ditetapkan, bagaimana dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, mengevaluasi hasil pembelajaran yang disampaikan, menindaklanjuti kegiatan pembelajaran yang sudah dilakukan terutama berkaitan dengan memberikan bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar dan memberikan remidial bagi nilai peserta didik yang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of classroom management and teacher work ethic partially and simultaneously on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Population of the study were 703 teachers of SMA Negeri OKU Selatan Regency. Sample of the study was 137 teachers. Technique collecting data used was by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression, partial correlation and multiple correlation. This study resulted in the conclusions (1) There was an effect of classroom management on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process; (2) There was an effect of the work ethic of the teacher on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process; and (3) There was an effect of classroom management and the work ethic of teachers simultaneously on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the principal's management strategy in dealing with teacher work stress. The research method using qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to gather the data. Research subjects are the principal and teachers of Faza Islamic Elementary School Palembang. The results of research showed that the principal can implement three strategies in dealing with teacher work stress, so it does not interfere with teacher performance, the comfort of students, and does not hinder the school to achieve its goals. The strategies applied by the principal are 1) recognizing the symptom of teacher work stress, 2) identifying the emergence of work stress, 3) solve the problem as a result of work stress, then the principal deal with teacher work stress. This problem solving consist of three approaches, 1) through a personal approach, 2) a religious approach, 3) an official approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of principal leadership, work motivation on teacher performance at SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative research, with quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, documents, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed: 1) There is a significant influence between principal leadership on teacher performance at SMP PGRI 1 Palembang, 2) There is a significant influence between principal motivation on teacher performance at SMP PGRI 1 Palembang, 3) There is a climate of leadership and motivation. the performance of the principal teachers at SMP PGRI 1 Palembang.

Abstract

This research was made to obtain very accurate data which aims at the supervision of the principal and the professional competence of teachers which can independently or simultaneously with the performance of teachers in SMP Kisam Tinggi District, South OKU. This research used a quantitative method using product moment and multiple regressions. The population was 96 teachers in Kisam Tinggi District. Because the population is less than 100, the sample used is a sample population, which means that the entire population is sampled. The results of the research at each point in the formulation of the problem answered that there was a positive influence both individually or simultaneously as much as 31.4% and the remaining 68.6% which was seen from other factors.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the effect of teacher pedagogical competence and the motivation of teachers to work partially or collectively on the learning outcomes of SMA Negeri in the OKU Selatan District. This research is based on quantitative methods. The research population consisted of all State Senior High School teachers in South OKU Regency, with a total of 703 staff. The sample was collected using arandom sampling technique of 137 respondents. Data was analyzed using multiple linear regression, partial correlation and multiple correlation. This study led to the conclusion (1) that teaching competence has an effect on the student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri in OKU Selatan Regency. (2) The effect of teacher motivation on student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri in OKU Selatan Regency (3) is the effect of teacher pedagogical competence and motivation The work of teachers together on learning outcomes of SMA Negeri in OKU Selatan Regency means that learning outcomes SMA Negeri in OKU Selatan Regency can be improved by improving and increasing the quality of teaching competence and motivation of teaching staff.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the magnitude of the influence of reading interest and reading motivation together on student learning outcomes of SDN 06 Kisam Tinggi. Research to be carried out includes quantitative research. The research method is a scientific procedure or way to obtain data with a specific purpose. Descriptive research is research that uses observations, interviews or questionnaires regarding the current situation. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of research and discussion is that there is a positive and significant effect of reading interest on student learning outcomes at SDN 06 Kisam Tinggi. The results of calculations using simple regression analysis show that the correlation coefficient is 0.327 and the coefficient of determination is 1.107. There is a positive and significant effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes at SDN 06 Kisam Tinggi.
