Abstract

Pemikiran tentang pembelajaran biologi yang terlalu monoton dengan tulisan serta sulit dibayangkan membuat peserta didik memerlukan suatu media belajar yang bisa menggambarkan materi pembelajaran dengan kompleks dan detail, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan aplikasi Android sebagai media pembelajaran yang menarik serta inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media booklet berbasis android yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Development, dan Dessiminate) yang telah direvisi dan diuji cobakan di lapangan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, angket penilaian guru biologi, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar pretest dan posttest berupa pilihan berganda berjumlah 20 soal. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa booklet berbasis android sebagai media belajar pada materi invertebrata yang dikembangkan dengan model 4-D dikategorikan sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan terkategori efektif sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media belajar bagi peserta didik kelas X di SMA/MA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: (1) the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students, (2) the effect of learning independence on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students, and (3) the interaction between learning models and learning independence on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental model. The population of this research is all students of class VIII of Ali Bin Abu Talib IT Junior High School which consists of two classes. The sampling technique that will be used in this study is total sampling. Total sampling is the same sampling technique as the population. Data collection instruments are questionnaires and tests. Normality testing using Liliefors and homogeneity testing using Bartlett. The data analysis technique is two-way analysis of variance at = 0.05. The results showed: (1) there is an effect of the application of learning models on problem solving ability, this is evident from the results of statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 242.4 > Ftable 3.972, (2) there is an effect of learning independence on problem solving ability, this is evident from statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 183.8 > Ftable 3.972, and (3) there is an interaction between learning models and learning independence, this is evident from statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 86.3 > Ftable 3.972.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the poster-assisted Decision Making cooperative learning model on the creative thinking skills of students in class X Madrasah. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sample of this research is the students of class X IPA Madrasah Aliyah which consists of class X IPA 1 totaling 30 students as the experimental class and X IPA 2 totaling 30 students as the control class. The instrument in this research is in the form of a test in the form of essay questions with 1 item with indicators of creative thinking Fluency, Flexibility, Originality and elaboration. Analysis of creative thinking ability data using test formulas also with the help of Microsoft Excel 2010 Software. The prerequisite test proved to be normally distributed and homogeneous. The result of the test calculation is that it is worth 2.21076 and is worth 1.6973 so that it shows that it is accepted. The conclusions in this study explain that there is an effect of the poster-assisted Decision Making type cooperative learning model on biology material on the creative thinking skills of class X Madrasah students.

Abstract

Application of local values in Sibolga City in learning at school will certainly help students recognize local potential and the culture around it. Efforts where students are capable of knowing the scientific names of the types of fish around them. This experiment aims to describe the results of the development of a biological module based on the local potential of fish species in Sibolga waters to determine the development of a valid, practical, and effective module in animalia material. This research was conducted at Senior High School Darur Rachmad which is located at Kerala, Sibolga, Sambas, Sibolga City. The subjects studied were students of class X consisting of 30 students. This study uses the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and pretest-posttest question sheets. Based on the research results, the N-gain score on the students' pretest and posttest was 0.77 with the high criteria. So, converted into a percentage to measure effectiveness, a value of 77% was obtained in the effective category. The results of research on the development of biology modules based on the local potential of fish species in Sibolga waters are expected to increase student achievement.

Abstract

A module is a complex learning medium, which contains basic learning activities. An environmental change module that is integrated with Islamic values is needed because Islamic values make students aware of the importance of keeping the environment clean. Based on aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, this research aims to determine the feasibility of an environmental change module that is integrated with Islamic values. The ADDIE development research model was applied in this research. The validation sheet is used to determine the validity of the model. The validity of the module obtained a percentage of 100% on the material component, 88% on the media component, and 95.8% on the Islamic integrity component. Teacher and student questionnaire answers are used to find out how practical the module is. Practical teacher response was 97.2% and student response was 88%. The effectiveness of the module is obtained through pretest and posttest assessment questionnaires and attitudes. The pretest and posttest effectiveness results obtained an n-Gain value of 0.80 with a percentage of 80% and effectiveness through attitude assessment obtained an average value of 90. With these results, the module was declared suitable for use. Therefore, it is hoped that this module can be used in educational and scientific media in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran siklus air tiga dimensi guna meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa TPI Syifaurrahma. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) diadaptasi dari model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar pre-test dan postest, angket guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Berdasarkan dari ahli materi diperoleh nilai 92% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Ahli media diperoleh nilai 93% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan dari data hasil uji coba kepraktisan dari respon hasil angket 26 siswa mendapatkan presentasi nilai sebesar 97% kemudian hasil angket dari respon guru wali kelas V memperoleh nilai 95% termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji evektifitas diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan posttest yang mengalami perubahan signifikan dan mendapat nilai N-gain sebesar 0,99 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah menggunakan media siklus air mampu meningkatkan keefektifitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student understanding in class IV after being given a valid, practical and effective Pop-Up Book media on the material of the force motion of objects. The method used in this research is Research and Developmet (R&D), using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This Pop-Up Book media has been validated by several experts including media experts and material experts. The percentage of results from experts on Pop-Up Book Media gets very valid and very practical criteria with a score of 86% on media experts and a score of 84% on material experts, a score of 92% from teacher responses, a score of 98% from student responses. From the results of N-Gaind with a score of 0.87 high category, therefore this study shows that there is an effect of using this learning media on increasing students' scientific thinking in learning the force motion of objects, this can be proven in the pro-test results which have a significant increase of 93.75 which is very effective compared to the pre-test results with a percentage value of 51.25 in the ineffective category. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that using Pop-Up Book Media is very feasible, practical, and effective to be used in learning science on the material of the force motion of objects to improve the scientific thinking of elementary school students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of LKPD based on scientific literacy. The research method uses development or R&D, which is applied to the 4D model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Sources of data were obtained through questionnaires or distributed questionnaires to determine validation and practicality tests, while data obtained through pretest and posttest were used to determine the effectiveness analysis of the developed LKPD. Data analysis techniques use quantitative methods, namely by calculating using Likert scale values and N-gain. The population in this study were 30 students of class X IPA 1 at Prima Tembung Private High School. The sampling used in this study is probability sampling, where every student has the same opportunity. The validity test of LKPD is used to evaluate the developed LKPD, which is measured using instruments in the form of validation from media experts and material experts. The results of the practical test for teacher and student responses were 75% and 79.62%, respectively, indicating that LKPD was very practical. The analysis of the LPKD effectiveness test was obtained through an N-gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category in improving students' scientific literacy abilities. Thus, scientific literacy-based LKPD on ecosystem material for class X high school developed by researchers proved to be valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Research purposes this is to produce a product in the form of a water cycle diorama media that is feasible, practical, and effective for increasing the ability to think critically. Methods applied in research This is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The population in this research was class V Mis Madinatussalam students, consisting of 30 students. Meanwhile, sampling in this study used a total sampling technique or used the entire population as the research sample. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research were interviews, tests, and questionnaires. This research uses qualitative data through observation, interviews, and LKPD, while quantitative data is used through pre-test and post-test. In this research, the data obtained was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis is used to describe the product development process. Quantitative analysis is used to describe product quality assessments, response questionnaires, and test learning outcomes through effectiveness tests. The results of data analysis are used for product improvement. The use of diorama media at the time is feasible, practical, and effective for students in fifth-grade elementary school. The effectiveness of diorama media was measured using the N-gain test. The average pre-test and post-test was 0.41, with a percentage of 41% in the medium category. Future researchers can develop diorama media on different subjects to improve other 4C skills, such as creative thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di Kelas Kontrol dan Kelas eksperimen sebelum menggunakan permainan ular tangga berbasis Game Based Learning pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V materi siklus air SD Negeri 104205 Desa Tembung. Serta mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diterapkan penggunaan permainan ular tangga berbasis Game Based Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian in adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 104205 Desa Tembung yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan metode random sampling sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah dua kelas yang terdiri atas satu kelas eksperimen (IV-B) dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 orang dan satu kelas kontrol (IV -A) dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang. Instrumen tes yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah tes essay yang berjumlah 5 soal. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistic dengan bantuan program SPSS seri 26.0. hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan, maka dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Permainan Ular tangga berbasis Game Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD Negeri 104205 Desa Tembung.Hal ini juga dibuktikan dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dimana nilai sig. (2-failed) pada kelas eksperimen 0,000 < 0,05 yaitu terdapat pengaruh pada perlakuan dikelas eksperimen maka, Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak pada taraf ?= 0,05. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut hendaknya penelitian ini dapat dilengkapi dengan meneliti aspek lain secara terperinci yang belum terjangkau saat ini.
