Abstract

Keahlian representasi matematika dibutuhkan siswa untuk memahmi materi dan menyelesaikan soal. Fakta menunjukkan diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan represetasi sisetematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kemampuan representasi sistematis siswa SD kelas 6 pada materi segitiga. Metode penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui tes tertulis, wawancara, dokunentasi dan catatan peneliti. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 6 yang berjumlah 5 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan representasi visual berhasil dikuasai siswa tetapi pada saat diberikan contoh lain, siswa tidak bisa menjawab. Representasi gambar hanya dikuasai oleh beberapa siswa saja karena sebagian lainnya masih tidak percaya diri, representasi persamaan juga hanya dikuasai oleh satu orang siswa sebab sebagian besar siswa belum memahami bagaimana pengerjaan materi yang terdapat pada soal, dan pada representasi kata dapat dikuasai oleh keseluruhan siswa, tetapi ketika diberikan kasus lain siswa tidak bisa menjawab dikarenakan tidak tau bagaimana cara pengerjaan soal nya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan apa yang dilakukan peserta didik Mis Ali Imron Tembung dalam menyelesaikan soal pola deret aritmatika pada polinomial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 Mis Ali Imron Tembung. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 Peserta didik, sampel ini diambil 1 kelas dari populasi keseluruhan peserta didik 4 Mis Ali Imron Tembung yang diambil melalui cara pengundian. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian soal tes sebanyak 1 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaiakan soal materi pola deret aritmatika dalam deret adalah kesalahan konsep, dan kesalahan operasi. Adapun persentase rata-rata kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi pola deret aritmatika dalam polinomial adalah kesalahan konsep sebesar 15%, dan kesalahan operasi sebesar 25%. Dari persentase rata-rata kesalahan tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan siswa adalah kesalahan operasi. Serta Pola deret aritmatika dalam deret pun tentunya terdapat pada ayat Al-Quran yaitu terdapat pada surat AS-Shaff ayat 4 yang membahas keteraturan dalam penyelesaian pola deret aritmatika dalam polinomial ini sendiri.

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel penelitian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman secara ekstensif tentang kemampuan representasi visual siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran matematika sekaligus memaparkan berbagai cara dalam hal upaya membangun kemampuan representasi visual siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peneliti mengumpulkan dan menganalisis literatur yang berkaitan tentang kemampuan representasi visual siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan yang baik akan bisa menampilkan representasi dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan masalah yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran matematika, Sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan rendah tidak bisa menampilkan representasi dalam bentuk verbal, visual, maupun simbolik dan guru dalam pembelajaran matematika harus mampu melakukan berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran yang secara khusus dapat merangsang siswa dalam hal representasi visual pada pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, critical and logical thinking processes are needed to solve problems correctly, including material about arithmetic sequences and series, which requires good concentration in studying it. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which aims to analyze students' thinking processes in solving problems of arithmetic sequences and series. The subjects in this research were class XI high school students. One of the abilities developed in learning mathematics is the ability to solve problems. Students can do math problems but are not good enough at analyzing and thinking optimally. This causes students' low ability to solve mathematical problems. The research results showed that students were able to work on calculated reasoning cycle questions. Because, in responding to or answering these questions the subject will generally use ideas that have been researched, and the subject can communicate or understand the methods taken to overcome these problems. Some students who use a semi-reasonable reasoning cycle when evaluated in solving problems are not ready to communicate it in their own words. In understanding a problem, students have used these ideas but not enough and students cannot. don't understand the steps to solve this problem. The equation used is correct, but the steps to overcome it are still inappropriate.

Abstract

Abstract Learning is an effort to provide direction and education to students using expert staff, especially educators. The purpose of this writing is to determine the extent of students' understanding of multiplication calculation operations using the Realistics Metamatics Education (RME) method. The method used by the author in this research is library study, namely a series of activities relating to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes and processing research materials. The results of the study showed that students' understanding of multiplication increased. Multiplication instructions that focus on memorization, the concept of multiplication with repeated addition, the concept of the properties of multiplication, and the application of the concept of multiplication to word problems show an increase, so it can be concluded that students' understanding of the concept of multiplication can experience a significant increase. Students can understand simple mathematical concepts and prove them without always relying on memorizing results Keywords : Concept, Understanding, Multiplication Abstrak Pembelajaran adalah suatu upaya memberikan arahan dan pendidikan kepada peserta didik dengan menggunakan tenaga ahli, khususnya pendidik. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman peserta didik tentang operasi hitung perkalian dengan menggunakan metode Realistics Methamatics Education (RME). Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka, yaitu serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pemahaman perkalian siswa meningkat. Petunjuk perkalian yang berfokus dengan hafalan, konsep perkalian dengan penjumlahan berulang, konsep sifat-sifat perkalian, dan pengaplikasian konsep perkalian ke dalam soal cerita menunjukkan peningkatan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep perkalian peserta didik dapat mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Peserta didik sudah bisa memahami konsep matematika sederhana dan membuktikan tanpa selalu berpangku pada hasil hafalan. Kata Kunci : Konsep, Pemahaman, Perkalian

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat melihat kecukupan pemahaman berbasis isu terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelompokan matematika. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi ini adalah metodologi kuantitatif dengan jenis pemeriksaan eksploratif. Ujian ini menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas uji coba. Siswa MP 1 sebagai kelas uji coba dan TI 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dalam ujiannya. Contoh jaminan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara sewenang-wenang. Peralatan yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi ini adalah soal pre-test dan soal post-test. Hasil belajar tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan pembelajaran gabungan isu terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi susunan juggling bilangan sangat penting jika dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran alamat. Berdasarkan hasil ujian tersebut, disarankan bagi guru untuk memanfaatkan issue based advanced sebagai jawaban dalam pembelajaran number-crunching di ruang belajar. Kata kunci : Barisan Aritmatika, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Abstract This research is expected to be able to see the adequacy of issue-based understanding of student learning outcomes in mathematics grouping material. The methodology used in this exploration is a quantitative methodology with an exploratory examination type. This exam uses two classes, namely the control class and the trial class. MP 1 students as the test class and TI 1 as the control class in the exam. The examples of guarantees in this research were carried out arbitrarily. The equipment used in this exploration is pre-test questions and post-test questions. These learning results show that the activeness of combined issue learning on student learning outcomes in the number juggling arrangement material is very important when compared with the learning outcomes of students who use address learning. Based on the test results, it is recommended for teachers to utilize issue based advanced as an answer in number-crunching learning in the study room. Abstract

This research examines the influence of nailed board media on understanding the concept of area of flat shapes in class 3 at SDIT Syifaurrahmah. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a nonequivalent control group design pretest posttest design. Where class 3 has 82 students, with a research sample consisting of 54 students, namely class A and class B. The class consists of 27 students in class 3A 27and 27 students in class 3B. Based on the result of the analysis of grade data and teacher interviews, the researcher considered that class 3A needs to get treatment that will be used as an experimental group, because the average grade of class 3A needs to get treatment that will be used as an experimental group, because the average grade of class 3A is lower than class 3B. The research instruments used were interviews and tests. The data used used the comparison test and paired sample T test. The results of this research were the pretest score was 32.89, while the average posttest score was 80.26, so this shows that there was an improvement after using nailed board media. With the media of the nailed board, learning becomes more fun and students more easily understand the material, especially the wide shapes of flat shapes.

Abstract

Misconceptions or misunderstandings can occur due to additions or deletions of what is inherent in the concept. Misconceptions can cause misunderstandings that cause difficulties for students in understanding the learning process. The aim of this research is to identify several misconceptions that occur among PGMI 3 UINSU students regarding the application of polya theory to plane material. The type of research used in this research is qualitative descriptive research in the form of a test on completing students' mathematics results accompanied by interviews related to flat shape material with the application of polya theory. The results of this research show that there are several misconceptions, namely not including the name of the flat figure in the problem, not giving cm marks for the base and height units, and the planning stage of the formula used being incomplete, not making polya theory steps in working on the problem and not evaluating final results or not writing conclusions. This is because students are not used to writing conclusions and also assume that the final calculation result obtained is the solution to the problem. The type of error found in question number 1 is 31.5% and in number 26.2%. From 39 students, a sample of 19 students was taken. 8 students answered the questions correctly and 11 students made mistakes. It is hoped that this misconception will not happen again to other prospective teacher students.

Abstract

Students often find it difficult to solve math problems, this is due to a lack of understanding of the problems presented. So many students experience errors in answering. As happened to PGMI-3 students, who experienced misconceptions when working on mathematics problems, especially on the circumference of flat shapes using Polya Theory. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were PGMI-3 class students. The aim of this research is to describe the forms of misconceptions experienced by students when working on mathematical problems on plane material using Polya Theory. Abstract

This article identifies various types of misconceptions experienced by UIN North Sumatra students when they solve problems related to mathematical series operations material, as well as to understand the causes of misconceptions among students in this context. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of descriptive research with the data collection method used is a test to identify misconceptions that students may experience. The results of the analysis show that students still often experience misconceptions when solving problems related to geometric series operations. The types of misconceptions identified among students include translation misconceptions, concept misconceptions, sign misconceptions, and systematic misconceptions. The causes of misconceptions can generally be attributed to students, with several factors at play. Misconceptions can occur due to wrong preconceptions that students previously had, incomplete or wrong reasoning in solving problems, and students' abilities that may still be lacking in understanding the material.
