Abstract

Saat ini sistem berbasis mobile berkembang sangat pesat di pasar global khususnya pada sistem operasi android. Teknologi berbasis mobileini digunakan sebagaialternatif dalam pemenuhan keperluan akses informasi ataupun akses yang lain. Paper ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasikhususnya informasi mengenai jadual kajian Islam untuk mempermudah masyarakat mendapatkan informasi jadwal kajian Islam yang lebih informatif serta dapat diakses dimana saja dengan menggunakan teknologi firebase realtime. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan model Waterfall. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi yang dapat dijalankan pada smartphoneandroid dengan memanfaatkan Firebase Realtime Database untuk memudahkan masyarakat melihat jadwal kajian secara realtime.Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan informasi secara cepat, update secara otomatis dalam mendapatkan informasi jadwal kajian Islam.

Abstract

Tantangan terbesar bagi bangsa Indonesia saat ini adalah meningkatnya daya saing dankeunggulan kompetitif di semua sektor termasuk sektor pendidikan. Penerapan teknologi informasidan komunikasi merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut.Implikasi penerapan TIK pada perubahan budaya belajar siswa maupun pengajar adalah terciptanyamodel-model pendidikan berbasis TIK yakni distance learning, open learning, computer assistedlearning, e-learning serta bentuk-bentuk kegiatan belajar lain baik formal maupun non-formal sepertiyang dilaksanakan dengan sistem siaran pendidikan melalui radio, televisi dan media komunikasilainnya.

Abstract

This paper discusses the framework of IT (Information Technology) governance in the public sector organizations and the factors that contribute to the implementation of IT governance in the province of Gorontalo, Indonesia. The problem that occurs is the absence of such a framework which can provide the basis, functions and limits for the efficient use of IT resources, IT strategic alignment and the management of risk in public organizations. Descriptive approach used to identify the processes and the factors that contribute to the implementation of IT governance. This study shows that the form of the IT governance framework ensuring success is related to achieving organizational goals, strategic alignment, resource management, and risk management in the Indonesian public sector, especially to the province of Gorontalo. The strategic role of IT governance can be an effective solution for making more consistent and transparent decisions about strategies and IT investments in public sectors.

Abstract

Institutions are currently progressing on IT development and maximization in order to advance for good IT governance. Lack of comprehensive requirements analysis of IT utilization may lead to hindrances within IT development from achieving effective outcomes. This quantitative study employs control objective for information & related technology (COBIT 5) business framework to assess and identify the maturity level of IT service, primarily within the domain of delivery, service, and support (DSS). Data were obtained through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The result reveals that the average maturity level of IT service is in level 3 (established); by which the study recommends for enhancements and upgrades in IT performance and service within the scope of compliance and IT service application and support.

Abstract

Limboto Lake is one of the lakes in Gorontalo Province; its water supply is generated from 23 small and large rivers. The lake holds potential in several sectors, e.g., tourism, fisheries, socio-economy and culture. However, such an advantage has no quality information system as it is found that there are no particular services that manage the information regarding Limboto Lake accurately. The objective of this research is to create an information system for the management of the potential area of the lake to provide quality services to access the information accurately and completely. The provided information is also updated timely. This research employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method in the development of the information system. Furthermore, the data were collected from interview, observation, and reviewing literature and document. This system is tested using white box and black box where it generated the expected outcome and is web-based. The output of this research is a system that eases the society to access the information regarding the management of the potential area in Limboto Lake.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) is essential in supporting an organization's business sustainability and growth, making it critically dependent on IT. Therefore, a focus on IT governance, consisting of leadership, organizational structure, and process ensuring that IT organization supports and expands the organizational strategies and goals is required. When the business supports the strategic significance of IT investment, the implementation of an IT strategy will lead to the adoption of an IT governance model. It will support and help the description of the benefit roles and responsibilities from IT systems and infrastructure. This paper aims to develop a business process monitoring system to support IT governance in improving user service and measuring organizational performance. The research method was the system development method with the Waterfall model. To measure the performance of the business process, the self-assessment method with performance matrix tools was applied. The study resulted in a business process monitoring system that can enhance the organization’s primary business process in services, supporting the said organization’s performance.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, an organization needs to adapt to the competitions in order to maintain its existence. However, information technology (IT) governance development and application is sometimes not effective, which consequently ends as a failure. Such extent is attributable to lack of thorough analysis of organizational needs, particularly, in the scope of organizational culture. In this regards, this study attempts to carry out the contributions of organizational culture aspect to the development of IT governance. Good strategies of IT governance are ordinarily well applied in most organizations. The organizations, in fact, struggle to find a proper framework or model of IT governance with their characters. A quantitative method through document study and questionnaire. The data were obtained through The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) questionnaire with 450 respondents. The importance of organizational culture towards the application of IT governance that an organization can decide a suitable model of development with the organization goals. The role of organizational culture is crucial for the leader, as one key factor of success in IT governance, in formulating harmonious strategies of IT utilization policy with business strategy. Furthermore, it also acts as a recommendation for organizations to design better IT governance which is suitable for organization strategies and vision.

Abstract

Museums are facilities that display historical objects and provide information to the public and visitors. However, the presentation of information in the museum to the visitors is far from proper due to the lack of details. The guides provided in the museum are not quite engaging. More than that, the information provided is only in the form of a sheet of paper stuck in the collection. This present study aims to develop information media using augmented reality technology. The method used in this research was the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which had six stages, viz. concept, design, material collecting, manufacture, testing, and distribution. This research develops an application that works as a medium of information related to museum collections using augmented reality, which is more interactive and visitors can use to obtain information from the collection. In addition, this application can visualize 3D and in real-time ethnographic objects in the museum.

Abstract

Media aplikasi pembelajaran dapat mempermudah sarana dalam pembelajaran di berbagai bidang pendidikan khususnya tentang pengenalan anatomi tubuh, namun saat ini masih minim tersedianya suatu aplikasi mobile terkait hal tersebut yang dapat meningkatkan minat belajar bagi siswa dan masyarakat terutama pendidikan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan sistem pengenalan anatomi tubuh manusia menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality berbasis Android. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) dengan tahapannya meliputi: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, dan Distribution. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur. Hasil penelitian diperoleh berupa aplikasi pengenalan anatomi tubuh manusia menggunakan teknologi augmented reality yang dapat membantu siswa maupun masyarakat dalam mencari informasi serta menjadi sarana media pembelajaran mengenai organ tubuh manusia. Adapun media pembelajaran augmented reality dapat memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak untuk pemahaman dan struktur suatu model objek dan memungkinkan augmented reality sebagai media yang lebih efektif sesuai dengan tujuan dari media pembelajaran. It is widely known that a mobile learning application can facilitate learning in various fields of education, including the introduction to human anatomy topic. However, the current availability of a mobile application associated with the topic remains insufficient despite its use to improve the student’s and community’s interest to learn, particularly in early childhood education is effective. The research aims to develop a system of introduction to human anatomy by using android-based augmented reality. The method employed in this research is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), where its stages comprise concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The research data are collected through observation, interview, and literature study. The research result is in the form of application to introduce human anatomy by using augmented reality technology that can assist students or community in seeking information and be a learning media to introduce the human anatomy. In addition, the augmented reality media can visualize an abstract concept for comprehension and structure of object model where it enables the augmented reality to be a more effective media to meet learning media goals.
