Abstract

Comparison of Knowledge, Attitude, and Motivation-to-Breastfeed Exclusively between Allied Health Students and Students of Other Fields at Universitas PadjadjaranUniversity students are among future intellectuals who will play an important role in community education and empowerment, especially on the topic of exclusive breastfeeding, in which the coverage is low in Indonesia. This study aimed to compare students’ knowledge, attitude, and motivation-to-breastfeed exclusively between allied health studies (AHS), i.e medicine and midwifery,  and other fields studies (OFS), i.e. psychology, communication, literacy, and farming. Further information will be gained from exploring the correlation of knowledge-attitude, as well as attitude - motivation in both groups. A study was conducted among Indonesian female students in their final year of bachelor degree in October to November 2013. The subjects recruited were 196/340 female AHS and 300/633 female OFS. The remaining students were absent at data collection time. Validity and reliability of the questionnaires were satisfactory. Ethical clearance was obtained from the Committee on Health Research Ethics, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran. The mean scores must be higher than the cut off points to pass. Student’s T test result showed a highly significant difference (AHS vs OFS group: 83.1 vs 71.1 for  knowledge, 91.3 vs 86.4 for attitude, and 88.3 vs 83.6 for  motivation-to-breastfeed exclusively,  p<0.001). It is revealed also that the correlation index between knowledge-attitude as well as attitude -  motivation-to- breastfeed exclusively were higher in AHS group, but some AHS students scored lower than the OFS students. Discussion on this topic is presented in this article. Corrective interventions are needed for students who scored low.  This study shows a satisfactory students’ scores of knowledge, attitude, motivation-to-breastfeed exclusively. The AHS group has a better performance and correlation index between  knowledge and attitude, attitude and  motivation-to-breastfeed exclusively. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan motivasi untuk menyusui secara eksklusif antara beberapa studi kesehatan (AHS), yaitu kedokteran dan kebidanan, serta studi bidang lain (OFS), yaitu psikologi, komunikasi, sastra, dan pertanian. Informasi lebih lanjut akan mengeksplorasi hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, serta sikap-motivasi pada kedua kelompok. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Oktober–November 2013. Sampel terdiri atas 196/340 perempuan AHS dan 300/633 OFS perempuan di Universitas Padjadjaran. Sampel yang tidak diambil adalah mahasiswi yang tidak hadir pada saat pengumpulan data. Validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner yang memuaskan. Izin etik diperoleh dari Komite Etik Penelitian Kesehatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran. Hasil nilai yang lebih tinggi mempunyai poin untuk lulus. Hasil uji-t mahasiswi menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan (AHS vs kelompok OFS adalah 83,1 vs 71,1 untuk pengetahuan, 91,3 vs 86,4 sikap, dan 88,3 vs 83,6 motivasi untuk menyusui secara eksklusif, p<0,001). Indeks korelasi antara pengetahuan dan sikap serta sikap dengan motivasi untuk menyusui secara eksklusif lebih tinggi pada kelompok AHS, namun beberapa mahasiswi AHS mempunyai nilai lebih rendah daripada mahasiswi OFS. Hal tersebut dibahas dalam artikel, intervensi korektif yang diperlukan antara mahasiswi yang mendapat nilai rendah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan pada nilai mahasiswi tentang pengetahuan, sikap, dan motivasi untuk menyusui secara eksklusif. Kelompok AHS menunjukkan kinerja dan indeks korelasi yang lebih baik antara pengetahuan dan sikap, sikap dengan motivasi untuk menyusui secara eksklusif. Abstract

Aquaponics is a combined cultivation method between fisheries and plants in one container. Aquaponics constantly use water from fish to plant management and on contrary from plants to fish ponds. In aquaponics, animal excretion is given to plants to be broken down into nitrates and nitrites through natural processes, and utilized by plants as nutrients. The aim of this research was to determine the response of Pakcoy green cabbage (Brassica rapa) to the nutrient solution nutrient (fish droppings) in the aquaponic system. This research was conducted on December 20, 2017 to February 20, 2018. The yield data from green cabbage plants (Brassica rapa) that had been obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, by providing nutrient solutions in the form of fish droppings on green cabbage plants grown using the aquaponic system responds to the symptoms of yellow leaves and the size of small tubers.

Abstract

Study aims to determine the effect of planting media and nutrients on the growth and yield of crispy lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. Capitata) hydroponically and to determine the best planting media and types of nutrients on the growth and yield of crispy lettuce (Lactuca sativa) var. capitata) hydroponically. This research uses factorial experimental design in CRD. The first factor is 3 planting media (coffee husk charcoal, rice husk charcoal and rock wool). The second factor is 3 nutrients (organic, AB mix and organic + inorganic). There are 9 combinations of planting media and nutrition for the growth of crispy lettuce head planting. Each combination is randomized before being tested, to determine the order of testing. Each combination is done 3 times. The results of observations and average calculation of plant parameter data at the 4th week after transplanting showed the result that there was no effect of the planting media and nutrients on the growth and yield of lettuce. Likewise with the results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that there was no real effect on plant parameters.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) describe the forms of injustice gender in the novel Namaku Mata Hari by Remy Sylado, (2) describe the factors that cause gender inequality in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado. The data in this study is a sentence, paragraph or section that contains a novel about gender inequality in the work of the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado, sources of data in this study is novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado works published by Scholastic Press PT. Techniques of data collection is done by stages; read carefully the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado, identifying each part of the novel that support injustice gender form, classifying data, conduct library research, inventory data using the format of the data inventory. The findings of the study first is the forms of injustice gender in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado are: (1) the marginalization of women, (2) the subordination of women, (3) stereotypes of women, (4) violence against women, (5) double burden against women, and (6) discrimination against women. Second, the factors that cause gender inequality in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado are (1) factor of public confidence in the myth, (2) factors of rationality, (3) factors patriarchy and (4) factor of the capitalist system.

Abstract

Abstract : Basicly from observation in SDN III Singkawang Selatan, Study motivation and result of study students in science Organisme still under. Research look for solution from problem studying. Research to try use Talking Stick to increase motivation study from students perhab to enjoy and suitable of feature in elementary school. Generally to aim research is explain apply learning Talking Stick model in organisme feature to increase study motivation in science at class III SDN 3 Singkawang Selatan.Research methode use descriptive methode with classroom action Reseach.Data collection techniques used are direct observation and interview techniques, data collection tools that earch study observation sheets and teacher observation sheet. Reseach prosedur about planing, doing observation and reflection. Result of research that use Talking Stick model, enaugh effective to increase students motivation to study science class III. Grade motivation study in class III SDN 3 Singkawang Selatan pre-cycle, grade motivation 39,29 % at doing first cycle grade motivation 75 % and doing the second cycle grade motivation is 100 %. Result change is significant with everage KKM 60. Motivation increase impact in result study is from applycation in cycle I from 28 student and 21 students (75%), Students canS only 11 or 39,29 % to value ? 60, than 17 students or 60,71 % student not yet graduate in study. Implication in the first cycle from 28 students there is 21 students or 75 % everage value class 65,54?KKM 60. Than implication second cycle, Students achieve everage value class 76,25?KKM 60.In cycle secound, all students did get grade everage class 76,25 ? kkm 60. Apply learning Talking Stick model in organisme feature can increase study motivation in science at class III SDN 3 Singkawang Selatan. Abstrak : Berdasarkan pengamatan dilapangan yaitu di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Singkawang Selatan . Motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa - siswi pada pelajaran IPA masih rendah.Dari hal tersebut peneliti mencari pemecahan masalah.Peneliti mencoba menggunakan Pembelajaran Talking Stick untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa - siswi agar lebih menyenangkan dan sesuai karakteristik siswa - siswi sekolah dasar.Secara umum tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kejelasan penerapan model pembelajaran talking stick pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas III SDN 3 Singkawang Selatan.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan teknik komunikasi, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar obesrvasi siswa siswi dan lembar obsevasi guru. Prosedur penelitian mencakup: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi atau pengamatan dan reflkesi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Penggunaan model pembelajaran talking stick, cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa siswi di kelas III. Tingkat motivasi belajar siswa - siswi kelas III SDN 3 Singkawang Selatan pembelajaran pra siklus, tingkat motivasi sebesar 39,29%, pada pelaksanaan siklus I tingkat motivasi sebesar 75% dan pada pelaksanaan siklus II tingkat motivasi siswa - siswi sebesar 100%. Hal ini bermuara pada perubahan yang signifikan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata siswa - siswi telah mencapai KKM 60. Peningkatan motivasi berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar yaitu dari 28 siswa - siswi, hanya 11 orang atau 39,29 % siswa - siswi yang memperoleh nilai ? 60. Sedangkan 17 orang atau 60,71 % siswa - siswi belum memperoleh nilai ketuntasan belajar. Pada siklus pelaksanaan siklus I dari 28 orang siswa - siswi sebanyak 21 orang siswa - siswi atau 75 % siswa - siswi berhasil memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 65,54 ? KKM 60. Pada pelaksanaan siklus II, semua siswa - siswi telah mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 76,25 ? KKM 60. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Penerapan Pembelajaran Talking Stick dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa - siswi di kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Singkawang Selatan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan seks pada mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi reguler A angkatan 2010 FKIP Untan Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitiannya yaitu bentuk peneltitian survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi , dengan alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner/angket, pedoman wawancara dan alat dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik pengolahan datanya menggunakan rumus persentase untuk data angket. Hasil penelitian pendidikan seks pada mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi reguler A angkatan 2010 FKIP Untan Pontianak, hasil rata-rata persentase yaitu 35.83% Kata kunci : Pendidikan Seks, Masa Remaja  Abstract: This study aims to determine the sex education in sociology regular education student class of 2010 FKIP Untan A Pontianak. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Form of research which forms peneltitian survey. The sample in this study are 45 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies, the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire / questionnaires, interview guidelines and documentation tool. While the techniques used in data processing to questionnaire data the percentage formula. Abstract

Background : Indonesia one of the developing countries that still has nutritional problems in pregnant women, nursing mothers and infants aged zero to two years. The First Thousand Days of Life (1000 HPK) is a movement to improve nutrition with the aim of pregnant women, nursing mothers and infants aged zero to two years. Midwives are health workers involving 1000 HPK. The impact of not doing 1000 HPK by midwives in pregnant women and toddlers, one of which occurs anemia in the assessment, lack of chronic energy (KEK) in pregnant women and giving birth to stunting babies.Objective : To determine the relationship between knowledge and motivation of midwives with the implementation of 1000 HPK in the Jatinangor Health Center and Cisempur Health Center Work Areas.Methods : Quantitative with cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling with a large sample of 41 midwives. Data analysis using chi-square test. This research was conducted in the work area of Jatinangor Health Center and Cisempur Health Center in August 2018.Results : This study showed no significant relationship between knowledge and implementation of 1000 HPK (p> 0.05) and there was a significant relationship between motivation and implementation of 1000 HPK (p <0.05).Conclusion : There is no relationship between the knowledge of midwives and the implementation of 1000 HPK and there is a relationship between the motivation of midwives and the implementation of 1000 HPKKeywords : First 1000 Days of Life, Motivation of Midwives, Implementation of 1000 HPK, Knowledge.

Abstract

Situasi Covid-19 saat ini mengharuskan pengajar memiliki bahan ajar yang inovatif guna pembelajaran daring tetap terjamin. Modul pembelajaran elektronik audio visual berbasis literasi sains didesain untuk mendukung pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul pembelajaran elektronik audio visual berbasis literasi sains yang merupakan kajian materi koloid di SMA Kelas XI kurikulum 2013 pada proses pembuatan edible film pulp kakao. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R & D) jenis ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Branch (2009). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi dan media. Analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil rata-rata persentase produk modul pembelajaran eletronik audio visual dinyatakan “sangat layak” dengan persen kelayakan sebesar 84,7%. Masing-masing aspek materi 84,8% dengan kategori sangat layak dan aspek media 84,6% dengan kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa secara umum tergolong sedang.
