Abstract

Lactashare is a startup in social movement.The startup aims to disseminate breastmilk donation in Indonesia because of the national exclusive breastmilk target 80% that has not been reached. It affected by several factors, such as working mother, no baby initial milking, low production of breastmilk, and the limited of lactation counselor. Therefore, Lactashare needs a management information system that support the business process. The concept needed to build system base in development of information system is Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). One of SDLC framework is Use case Driven Object Modeling with UML or named as ICONIX. ICONIX consists of six process. This research provide an insight to build a system that support Lactashare in requrements analysis and system designing phase in ICONIX process. Evaluation is an important activity in Requirements management. Evaluations that used in this research are tracebilty matrix and Correctness. Tracebility matrix refers to the ability to describe and trace the Requirements growth from the start to the end. Correctness used to observe the correct level of a features that made to the described Requirements. The result of this research are artifact of every ICONIX process and traceability matrix and correctness show that design system is correct to the requirement.

Abstract

Database synchronization is an activity to equalize the data contained in multiple databases. It is utilized by the SINADME Mobile app in the process of retrieving primary data on servers temporarily stored in mobile applications for offline transactions. Currently SINADME Mobile uses the Full-Load method to synchronize, so if sync is done on a regular basis it will result in increased load. This research will implement Delta-Extract method in synchronizing to reduce load during synchronization routinely. The focus of this research is the analysis of the loads received by mobile applications using Full-Load and Delta-Extract. Based on the test results, the Full-Load Method eases the burden received by the mobile application during initial data retrieval and the Delta-Extract method reduce the loads received by the mobile application during data retrieval after changes.

Abstract

Turun Tangan Malang is one of the social communities that exist in Malang. Focus fields raised today is the issue of social education and community. Based on the results of interviews, this community has a problem on its own activities. The first is the problem of the difficulty of seeking funds. Ineffectiveness of fundraising led to the infusion of funds be insufficient and not quite cover the cost of activities is large enough. The second problem is the community has never existed for accountability activities, causing the community cannot convince donors to donate. The last problem is the number of volunteers who are not active, consequently each activity has a lack of volunteers because of uneven information. Based on these problems, it can be given a solution to develop a management information system that has a function to be able to solve the problem. The method used in system development is Evolutionary Prototyping where the method is chosen because it can minimize the lack of analysis of the system needs to be developed and ensure the system built according to customer desires. The result of this research is resulted 32 functional requirement and 1 non-functional requirement obtained from 2 iteration. From the results of testing a black box, it brings the results of 100% valid from 32 tested features. Based on compatibility testing, the tested system is capable of running well on any browser except on Internet Explorer 8 and 9. Based on UAT testing containing 6 questionnaires, got acceptance on all points on each questionnaire.

Abstract

Batu City is a city famous for its tourism, therefore every year the population and the number of vehicles in Batu and surrounding areas continue to grow. This fact caused the traffic density in Batu City and its surrounding area to increase, this traffic density caused many problems, one of them is traffic accident problem. Currently there is no information system used to handle traffic accidents problem in Batu City. One solution that can be used is to build a geographic information system (GIS) that can identify the locations of the highest level of traffic accidents. Data used in the development of this system are coordinate data of traffic accidents location, the number of traffic accident victims obtained from Polres Kota Batu, and road network data. Data collected during the period of 2013-2016. GIS analysis was utilized Street Profile Analysis method to determine the progress of traffic accidents on a certain road segment. Meanwhile, to determine the level of traffic accidents Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) method was employed. The result of this GIS is a WebGIS that displays the locations of traffic accidents along with identification of locations that have the highest traffic accident rate. With this system, the location that has the highest traffic accident rate has been identified is on Jalan Raya Waturejo. While mapping the location of traffic accidents found a number of 26 points during the year 2013-2016. Black box testing test results of 100%. Then for compatibility testing results, the system can not run on Internet Explorer browser only. While for the results of testing UAT get results almost 88% for admin user and almost 90% for community users.

Abstract

TurunTangan Malang is a social community located in Malang City and it is part of Turun Tangan Indonesia. Currently, TurunTangan Malang is engaged in several fields, including education, culture, environment, and other fields that are adjusted from the existing problems in Malang. During did social activities, Turun Tangan Malang has several problems. Problems faced are the need of funds in conducting activities, limited human resources and not good enough in volunteer management. From the problems stated above, it is necessary to analyze and to design an application that can help Turun Tangan Malang search for donations, managing activities and volunteers. In this research, The analysis and design process are used Rational Unified Process (RUP) method. in RUP Method, developer and user are together define all needs sepecification to be on system and control all required resourches in determining the scope. The RUP method also systematically controls the changes that occur in the system. This research results are modeling of current business processes and proposals, user needs lists use case modeling, system design and system prototypes. Moreover, evaluation is did of tracebility and cognitive walkthrough to trace the scope of needs with implementation and prototype review to the user.

Abstract

Master of Business Administration is a program of masgiter study at Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Currently every stage of thesis work is using physical forms that must be filled by students. The physical form is changed hands or forwarded to the parties involved in the thesis workflow for approval or signature. The use of physically transferred or forwarded forms for approval may slow the flow of thesis work. This happens because the physical form is submitted and checked manually. Based on the mentioned problems, so the solution can be given is to develop a thesis management information system that serves to overcome the problem due to the use of the physical form. The result of this research are 52 functional requirement and 1 non functional requirement. From Black-box testing, 52 functional requirements have been tested and 100% valid. Compatibility testing that has been done, resulting the system can run smoothly on the computer web browser and mobile device web browser except on the web browser IE 9 and web browser BlackBerry 7.1.

Abstract

Land use and land cover is important in understanding the human activities with the environment. Trenggalek regency agricultural potential is a potential that support the economy. Development in the trade industry sector is also increasing the lead to endangerment of the availability of agricultural land if it is not managed properly. Endangerment of food resistance, loss of livelihood of farmers and the loss of agricultural infrastructure is an example of the impact of conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural. The need for geographic information and updates are very important in land management and field operations. In this study constructed a mobile GIS application for the analysis land cover and land use in Trenggalek regency. This application is built using hybrid technology with HTML5, CSS and javascript. In this research will help to provide information about land use and land area of ​​the period 2014, 2015 and 2016 and also information of farmland protected area regulations or Lahan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan (LP2B). This study uses a semi-automatic classification plugin (SCP) is a Quantum GIS plug-in to process and classify satellite image data. Satellite imagery used include sentinel-2 2016, Landsat-8 in 2015 and 2014. Spatial data that are already classified will be exported and displayed on mobile devices android and ready to used as a reference in the field operations. With the information directly from mobile device expected governmental Trengggalek easier to manage land for future development and Trenggalek people also more selective in choosing and using the land.

Abstract

UD Darmo Jaya is currently a company engaged in the sale of building materials such as wood, iron, galvalum, nails, and others that can sell up to large scale to almost all of Indonesia. Based on the result of the interview, UD Darmo Jaya has some problems on sales transaction and warehousing activities. The problems that UD Darmo Jaya possesses include the stacking of nota and surat jalan, customers who forget to settle their debts, calculate the remaining stock of goods take a lot of time, recording transactions done after hours of work, and branch heads who do not record the goods. The method used in system development is Throw-away Prototyping where the method is chosen because it can help the stakeholders to get a desired system to be able to solve the problem. In this research we got 81 functional requirement and 1 non functional requirement obtained from 1 time iteration. From the results of black-box testing, obtained a result of 100% valid of 81 test cases tested. Based on compatibility testing, the tested system is capable of running on many different browsers, especially in the microsoft edge and android browsers. Based on testing of user acceptance testing of 3 types of testers (owner, cashier, and branch head) produces an average percentage of 80% stating that the system meets the functional requirements, and can assist in running business processes at UD Darmo Jaya mainly on sales and warehousing.

Abstract

The functional position of the lecturer is a position that shows the duties, responsibilities, authority and rights of a lecturer in a higher education unit which in its implementation is based on certain skills and is independent. The function of lecturer functional promotion is very important for the accreditation of universities where the lecturers take shelter. However, the process of lecturers functional improvement has a number of problems encountered in the process, namely the lecturer does not have his own initiative to make the promotion of functional positions and personnel employee overwhelmed in calculating the value of credit numbers. The development of information system of lecturer functional promotion is a solution to solve the problem. The method used is SDLC Prototyping method which includes user requirement identification, prototype creation, prototype testing, prototype improvement, and development of production version which hopefully can assist in designing this system. The result of this research is in the application of the system to overcome the problem of credit score calculation, resulting in the reduction of processing time to 5-10 minutes, and the application of the system to overcome the problem of the lack of lecturer's initiative result in automatic notification. From the results of system testing, obtained results of 100% valid of 17 test cases. Based on compatibility testing, the tested system is capable of running on various browsers.

Abstract

Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP) of Southeast Sulawesi is a technical implementation unit with the task of undertaking quality assurance of primary and secondary education in the province. To carry out these tasks LPMP Southeast Sulawesi conduct training activities which in its implementation get some problems. The first problem is the registration process is done manually so that the pile of queues of prospective participants. The second problem, the data processing is done centrally so it takes additional time to perform data processing. Third problem, the dissemination of information done manually so as to affect the performance of the committee. The fourth problem is the submission of participant certificates that are often lost or tampered. Based on these problems, the solution is to develop a management information system developed using throw-away prototype method. Throw-away prototype method is chosen because by using the method can understand the needs of users in the early stages thereby reducing the risk of system failure. The results of this study, obtained 1 iteration that produces 34 functional requirements, and 1 non-functional needs. Based on the results of validation testing found that all functions can run well with valid status results. Based on the results of compatibility testing found that in the Safari browser version 11 and below, Opera version 47, Google Chrome version 61 and IOS System version 11 and below no problems found. Based on UAT test results, it is found that all tested functions can be accepted by the user.
