Abstract

The title of the is “The influence of Job Stress and Work Motivation toward Employee Performance at PT. Perkebunan Minanga Ogan Baturaja”. The purpose of the study was to fond out the influence of job stress and work motivation as an independent variable. The contribution which was expected could give valuable benefit with practically and theoretically. It was expected could give an idea about the influence of job stress and work motivation toward employee performance theoretically with, it was expected could add other reference and contribution for other researchers, and give experience for society industry  issues.The descriptive method and regression analysis, were used in this study and the data was collected by using questionnaire technique which arranged based on theoretically study. the statement in the questionnaire has been tested its validity and reliability. All the employee at PT. Perkebunan Minanga Ogan Baturaja with the total 78 employee as a respondent.The result of research showed the first hyphotesis that was job stress had significant influence toward employee performance simultaneously. And based on the result of regression analysis, the influence of job stress variable and work motivation toward employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Minanga Ogan Baturaja could be proved. That lowest or highest job stress had influenced for level of employee performance low (it optimum), it could be concluded that over job stress and low motivation made frustation/underpressure and decrease of performance And finally, job stress more influenced : than work motivation toward employee performance. Keywords: Job Stress, Work Motivation and Employee Performance

Abstract

The study conducted to look at the effect of compensation, competences and working environment  toward the job performance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatra Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), aims to identify (a) to investigate partially influences of compensation, competency and working environment affecting the job performance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), (b) to investigate simultantly influences of compensation, competency and working environment affecting the job perofmance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), (c) to investigate which variable have dominant affecting the job performance.The method used in this study was causal method. The random sampel by using non probability with numbers of the population are 76, The technique of data collection was using questionnaries.The research finding shows partially compensation, competency a influence on job performance but working environment doesn’t influence it, simultantly compensation, competency and working environment influence on job performance of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatra Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), Competency has dominant influence on employees job performance of Disaster Management of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to learn and understand the effect of job promotion on job satisfaction in PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The object of this research is employee in Human Resource Division of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang with 45 employees as sample. The sampling method used in this research is sensus method. The method used for collecting data is by questionnaire. The data collected are tested by validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, correletion coefficient (r) and determination coenfficient (R2) and t test by using SPSS version 22. The result of this research shows that job promotion has positive and significant effect to job satisfaction in PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. Keywords : Job Promotion, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang is one of firms own by local state entrusted to manage water supply in the surrounding area. This firm used work culture environment to do their activities, heightening their sense of productivity aligns with firm’s goal: to ensure society’s development regarding social aspect, economy, health, and civil service. This research is entitled to understand effects of those work culture environment with worker’s productivity in PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang Unit Rambutan. In this research, researcher used library research, questioner, and observation as instrument to collect data. After all those primary data collected, then researcher calculated data using Statistical program SPSS Version 16.0. Testing used in this research is data validation testing; reliability validation; and normality validation. This research yielding results that work culture environment have significant effect in worker’s productivity. On the other hand, productivity not only effected by work culture, but also by motivations; compensations; leadership; and other factors. In this opportunity, researcher would also suggest to firm and related to do further research to understand other factors that can also effect worker’s productivity.Keywords: Work Culture and Worker’s Productivity

Abstract

This research purpose is to examine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance in PT Arwana Augerah Keramik Tbk. The object of this research is an employee in PT Arwana Anugerah Keramik Tbk. with 80 employees as a sample. Method for collecting data is using questionnaire. The collected data are tested by validity test, reliability test, analysis coefficient of determination test (R2), T Test (Partial), F test (Simultaneous) and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The result of this research indicate that compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance with 2,603 > t table 1,668 where motivation aslo has a significant positive effect on employee performance with 1,840 > t table 1,668. Simultaneously, independent variable effect on employee performance with 0.761 or 76,1% influence on employee performance. Keywords : compensation, motivation, employee performance.

Abstract

Micro and small enterprises have a great contribution to the country’s economy. However the lack of managers’ skills and abilities cause obstacles that affect the level of job satisfaction. In order to maximize the job satisfaction, MSEs’ managers need training and development and motivation. Training & development aims to increase managers’ skills and abilities. Motivation will give positive impact and increase satisfaction if a manager is able to expand his/her business. This study aims to know whether there is effect between Training & development and motivation on job satisfaction. This study is conducted on MSEs’ managers in Plaju Ulu Village. The number of samples is 78 managers as respondents, and the sampling technique is stratified random sampling. The analysis method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The test result shows that Training & development and motivation have a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction. But Training & development do not has a partial effect on job satisfaction, while motivation has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction. Coefficient determination shows that 24,6% variance of job satisfaction can be explained by independent variables in this study, while the rest 74,6% can be explained by others variable such as as innovation, committment, leadership, and personality that are not discussed in this study.Keywords : Development, Job Satisfaction, Micro and Small Enterprises Motivation, Training

Abstract

Wedding Organizer Business still needs human resources in carrying out its activities, therefore it is necessary to study how the influence of Organizational Compensation and Commitment which is owned by employees. This study had a population of 101 using the census method and 101 people who became respondents through the distribution of questionnaires were conducted on Sakinah Wedding Organizer employees. The effect of Compensation on Work Discipline through Job Satisfaction has positive and significant results, and the influence of Organizational Commitment to Work Discipline through Job Satisfaction has positive and significant results. Compensation is expected to be able to increase salaries and wages of employees properly so that employees feel satisfied and will be more disciplined in carrying out tasks. Organizational Commitment of employees is expected to have more attitude towards the company to make a good contribution to advance the company. Work Discipline Employees are expected to be able to comply with company regulations, including carrying out the tasks assigned by the provisions to be completed on time. Job Satisfaction Employees are expected to be able to conduct supervision and employee relations with superiors to create a good work environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether Motivation and Work Discipline affect Employee Performance at PT. Dizamatra Powerindo. This research uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to all employees. The total population used is 169 respondents where the entire population is samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained are that Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Employees of PT. Dizamatra Powerindo and Work Discipline have a positive and significant effect on the Performance of PT. Dizamatra Powerindo. Suggestions that can be given from this research is that Motivation at PT. Dizamatra Powerindo needs to be improved and for Work Discipline at PT. Dizamatra Powerindo leaders are expected to pay more attention to the dimensions of punctuality, then to improve the Performance of PT. Dizamatra Powerindo must be able to understand what motivation needs to be given to Employees to improve the Performance of the Employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, work environment on morale which has an impact on the performance of the Palembang City Social Service staff. The research approach is quantitative research with associative research type. The population of this study were 96 employees of the Palembang City Social Service. The sample of this research is calculated by using the Slovin formula, the error rate of 5%, the sample size is 77 employees as respondents. The analysis model used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, inferential and path analysis. This study aims to answer all problem formulations in the research object. The first conclusion, that leadership has a significant effect on employee morale. Second, the work environment, has a significant effect on employee morale. Third, leadership has a significant effect on the performance of the Palembang City Social Service Employees. Fourth, the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. Fifth, morale has a significant effect on employee performance. Sixth, leadership through morale has a significant effect on employee performance. Seventh, the environment through morale has a significant effect on the performance of the Palembang City Social Service Employees. A more effective path is the path between leadership and employee performance through employee morale. Researchers provide recommendations, first, it must be maintained that employee morale has the greatest contribution to employee performance and employee work environment. Monitoring and evaluation must be carried out, because leadership towards employee morale is still of low value. Leaders should set a good example so that the performance of the Palembang City Social Service Employees needs to be improved. There needs to be supervision and evaluation from the leadership.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan demi menyelidiki pengaruh antara kompensasi finansial dan non finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan sampel jenuh yakni sebanyak 86 responden seluruh karyawan PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Palembang Sriwijaya yang digunakan pada pengujian sampel, dan sampel acak sebanyak 30 responden dari karyawan PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kantor Wilayah Palembang yang pada pengujian konstruk. Software yang penulis gunakan ialah SmartPLS dengan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM-PLS) untuk menganalisis datanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi finansial dan non finansial tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan baik langsung maupun melalui motivasi, sedangkan kompensasi finansial dan non finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan konstribusi terhadap hubungan antar variabel, utamanya dalam cakupan kompensasi finansial dan non finansial terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi yang penelitiannya masih kurang banyak dalam satu dekade ini.
