Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there is an effect on the results of learning physics uses the accelerated learning approach with the whole brain teaching method on work and simple plane material at SMP Terpadu Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, 2020/2021 academic year. This research was a quantitative research. The population in this study were students of class VIII at the Nurul Huda Integrated Junior High School, which consisted of 5 classes. The sample in this study was carried out randomly. The experimental class conducted learning by applying the accelerated learning approach through the whole brain teaching method,while the control class used conventional methods. Data collection techniques to determine student learning outcomes using test instruments, and testing the hypothesis using the t-test. Based on the test results, the experimental class average score is 73 and the control class average is 71. The t test results show that tcount = 2.53 and ttable = 1.68, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect or difference in the average score between the class with accelerated learning approach with the whole brain teaching method and the class with conventional methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the pictorial riddle learning method on the mastery of physics concepts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was an experimental research with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang, totaling 49 students. The samples of this research were students in class VIII A, which amounted to 25 students as the experimental class, and class VIII B, which consisted of 24 students as the control class. The data collection method in this research was the test method. The data analysis used was a statistical test using the t polled variant t test statistical formula. Based on data analysis using the t polled variant test, it was concluded that the results of the posttest physics of students learning with the pictorial riddle method were high. Of the 25 students, there were 15 students (60%) who scored in the high category, and the average score of the class posttest results was 78.58. The results of the posttest physics of students who learned using conventional methods were in the low category, from a total of 24 students, 12 students (50%) obtained low category scores, and the average score of posttest results was 67.75. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the pictorial riddle method on mastery of physics concepts in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang for the 2020/2021 academic year with a tcount of 7.37 while ttable is 1.98. Because tcount score is not located between - ttable ≤ tcount <+ ttable, which is -1.98 and +1.98, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Treffinger learning model on student physics learning outcomes on heat topic in class VII SMP NU Tebat Jaya in the 2019/2020 school year. This research was an experimental research design with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The samples of this research were 28 students of class VII A and 28 students of VII B. The data collection method in this study was a multiple-choice test method. The data analysis used was a statistical test using the t test statistical formula. Based on data analysis using the t-test, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of the application of the Treffinger learning model on students' physics learning outcomes on heat topic in class VII SMP NU Tebat Jaya in the 2019/2020 learning year with tcount 5.45 and ttable 1, 99.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that occurs due to the pancreas not being able to produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin. The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of the provision of red betel leaf boiled water on reducing blood sugar levels of Diabetes Mellitus patients in the Saling Puskesmas District of Four Lawang in 2018. The design of this study was an experimental Quasy using The One Group Pretest - Postest Design, technique data collection using primary and secondary data. The population of this study were all Diabetes Mellitus patients in the Saling Community Health Center in July-August 2018, amounting to 16 people, sampling was done by accidental sampling. The results of the study, from 16 patients with diabetes mellitus there are 9 people (56.2%) with blood sugar levels less than 200 mg / dl. Wilcoxon Sign Rank test results obtained value Z = -3.517 with p = 0.000 0.05 means significant. So the two variables have different medians, there are differences in the GDS levels of Diabetes Mellitus patients before and after administration of red betel leaf decoction water. Conclusion, Red betel leaf decoction water is significantly effective in reducing blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. It is expected that Puskesmas staff can increase public knowledge by counseling about red betel leaves as a Non-Pharmacological drug for patients with Diabetes Mellitus who do not experience complications. Keywords: Red Betel Leaf Decoction Water, Diabetes Mellitus, Blood Sugar Levels

Abstract

Salah satu target dari Kurikulum 2013 adalah menciptakan peserta didik yang berguna, imajinatif, artistik dan amotif serta mempunyai andil dalam aktivitas masyarakat. Sejalan pada kurikulum 2013, kecakapan abad 21 juga menuntut peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan 4C yaitu critical thinking, creativity, communication and colaboration.  Hal tersebut dapat diwujudkan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis penyelesaian masalah (PBL) dengan pendekatan STEM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD terintegrasi STEM-PBL pada materi Hidrolisis Garam dan menentukan validitas dan kepraktisan LKPD yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian berupa Research and Development (R D) dengan menerapkan model 4D, yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu: tahap define, tahap design, tahap develop dan tahap disseminate. Penelitian ini dibatasi hingga tahap develop, tahap disseminate tidak dilaksanakan karena keterbatasan waktu. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dan angket praktikalitas. Validitas dan juga kepraktisan data dianalisis menggunakan Formula Cappa Cohen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket validitas yang dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator didapatkan moment kappa (k) sejumlah 0,89 pada kategori kevalidan sangat tinggi. Hasil analisis uji praktikalitas terhadap 2 orang guru kimia diperoleh moment kappa (k) sejumlah 0,73 dengan kategori kepraktisan tinggi dan praktikalitas terhadap 9 orang peserta didik kelas XII sejumlah 0,92 pada kategori kepraktisan sangat tinggi. Hasil data mengungkapkan LKPD terintegrasi STEM-PBL valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Kimia, terutama materi Hidrolisis Garam.

Abstract

Hidrokarbon menjadi salah satu materi wajib yang diajarkan kepada peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA/MA. Pelajaran hidrokarbon meliputi aspek faktual, konseptual, dan prosedural. Tujuan dari penelitian ini sebagai upaya pengembangan media yang berfungsi membantu siswa memantapkan konsep melalui latihan dengan penggunaan permainan Scrabble Kimia sebagai suatu metode chemo-edutainment. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R D (Research and Development) dengan 4-D models yaitu (1) Define (Pendefinisian), (2) Design (Perancangan), (3) Develop (Pengembangan) dan (4) Disseminate (Penyebaran). Penelitian ini dilkukan sampai tahap develop dengan pengujian validitas dan praktikalitas. Uji validitas dilakukan pada 5 orang validator. . Sedangkan tingkat Praktikalitas diujikan pada dua orang guru kimia dan 10 orang siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung. Instrument penelitian yang dipakai adalah angket untuk penentuan validitas dan praktikalitas. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui pengisisan angket dan analisis data memakai rumus Aiken V. Data yang telah dianalisis didapatkan tingkat validitas permainan scrabble kimia sebesar 0,85 dengan kategori valid dan tingkat praktikalitas sebesar 0,89 pada guru dan 0,94 pada siswa dengan kategori praktis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa permainan scrabble kimia sebagai media chemo edutainment pada materi hidrokarbon yang dikembangkan sudah valid juga praktis digunakan pada pembelajaran Kimia , khususnya pada materi Hidrokarbon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang hasil belajar siswa menggunakan LKPD terintegrasi STEM-PjBL pada materi termokimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu jurnal ilmiah yang bereputasi. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi dengan mencari dan menggali data literatur yang berkaitan dengan rumusan masalah. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Miles Dan Hibernian aktivitas dalam analisis data, yaitu reduksi data (reduction), penyajian data (display), dan kesimpulan (conclusion drawing).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the practicum method with PowerPoint animation media on the learning motivation of class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The research design used a posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Belitang totaling 216 students, and the research sample was 36 students of class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and 36 students of class XI IPA 1 as the control class. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire and then analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the level of learning motivation of experimental class students reaches 67% in the medium category and the level of learning motivation of control class students reaches 64% in the medium category. After the t-test was carried out, the results of tcount were 3.81 while ttable was 1.99. Because tcount was not between -ttable and +ttable i.e. -1.99, and +1.99 then, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Hence, there is a significant influence on the application of the practicum method with PowerPoint animation media on the learning motivation of the students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang in the 2020/2021 academic year

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of physics teachers at MTs Darul Ulum Karang Sari about K13 (2013 Curriculum), teacher readiness in learning, implementation of learning, and direction of learning development. The research on the understanding of physics teachers was carried out using a qualitative descriptive research method. The research subjects were four physics teachers at MTs Darul Ulum Karang Sari. Data was collected using interview and questionnaire techniques. The data were analyzed and classified by presenting the data, reducing the data, and making conclusions from the data. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the physics teacher at MTs Darul Ulum has not fully understood the concept of the 2013 curriculum. Some teachers are more focused on character education contained in K-13. This understanding that focuses on character education has an impact on unclear learning objectives. The readiness of the physics teacher at MTs Darul Ulum to start learning is in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans, although it is not optimal. For example, the teacher has prepared materials, methods, and media that will be used in learning. However, in the implementation, not all teachers do according to the 2013 curriculum. In the implementation in the classroom learning with the 2013 curriculum does not really show the difference with learning with KTSP. The assessment system has been done well by most teachers

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on chemistry subjects by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model for tenth-grade students. The method used is classroom action research that is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Techniques of data collecting use the observation sheet and final testing cycle. Observation sheet was used to determine the activity of students and the test to determine student learning outcomes. Based on research, gained mastery learning outcomes of students increased from 45% before treatment (T0) to 55% in the first cycle (T1), 72.5% in the second cycle (T2) and 87.5% in the third cycle. Average student activity within the group at the first cycle of 53.43%, 57.18% for the second cycle and the third cycle of 64.47%. Average student learning outcomes at the first cycle of 70, 55, 72,125 for the second cycle and the third cycle of 74,6. Cooperative learning strategies are effective when the curricular knowledge taught in the school is drawn from all groups by playing. Based on these results, the researchers suggest to teachers who have the same problem in learning can apply learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT).
