Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find data and information regarding teachers' perceptions and expectations of the school climate in terms of 1) support to students, 2) leadership, 3) student participation, 4) encouragement, 5) clarity of rules, 6) cooperation, 7) care for students, 8) completeness of resources. This research is a descriptive study. The population of this study were all teachers in Vocational High School 5 Padang with a total population of 100 people. This research is a population research, that is, if the subject is more than 100, it is better to use Stratified Proportional Random Sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample using the Slovin formula with the sum of 50 teachers. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale model that has been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using the mean (average) formula. Teachers' perceptions and expectations of the school climate in Vocational High School 2 Padang are in the category of good enough perception with an average score of 3.4 while expectations are in the good category with an average score of 4.1.

Abstract

This research was based on the problems that researchers encountered in the UPT SMPN (06, 17, 28, 30) South Solok related infrastructure that was not in accordance with the infrastructure standards stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education number 24 of 2007. This is to describe the suitability of existing infrastructure in schools with infrastructure standards. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods, research data collection using interview techniques, observation, documentation, which is the source of the data in this study is the principal and vice principal in the field of school inventory. The results showed that (1) the classrooms of the UPT SMPN (06,17,28,30) Solsel were very in accordance with the infrastructure standards and even exceeded in terms of the number that had been set, (2) the library room of UPT SMPN (06,17,28,30) very in accordance with infrastructure standards, (3) the IPA laboratory room of UPT SMPN 06 is very suitable, UPT SMPN 17, 28 is suitable, and UPT SMPN 30 is not suitable, (4) the leadership room of UPT SMPN (06,17,28,30) is very suitable , (5) the UPT SMPN teacher room (06.30) is very suitable, the UPT SMPN (17.28) is not suitable, (6) the UPT SMPN administration room (06,17,28) is very suitable, the UPT SMPN 30 is not suitable, (7) the place of worship UPT SMPN (06,17,28) is very suitable, UPT SMPN 30 is not suitable, (8) UPT SMPN 28 counseling room is very suitable, UPT SMPN 06 is suitable, and UPT SMPN (17,30) is not suitable, (9) the UPT SMPN 28 UKS room is very suitable, the UPT SMPN (06,17,30) is not suitable, (10) the student organization UPT SMPN 28 is very suitable, the UPT SMPN (06,17,30) is not suitable, (11) latrines UPT SMPN (06,17,28) is very suitable, UPT SMPN 30 Turtle appropriate, (12) warehouse UPT SMPN 17 is very suitable, UPT SMPN (06,28) is not suitable, and UPT SMPN 30 is not suitable, (13) UPT SMPN 28 circulation space is suitable, UPT SMPN (06,17,30) is not appropriate, (14) the place to play / exercise UPT SMPN (06,17,28) is appropriate, UPT SMPN 30 is not in accordance with the infrastructure standards in Permendiknas number 24 of 2007.

Abstract

This reason for this research was based on observations and experiences during the educational field practice related to the teaching skills of students in the field practice program (PPL) of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University, State Vocational Schools of Padang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive type which aims to see how the teaching skills performed by PPL students of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University according to students’ perceptions. This study has a population of 2891 people who all have studied with PPL students, Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling technique which obtained 102 people. This research instrument uses a Likert scale questionnaire on teaching skills consisting of 60 items. Data collected online using google form. The data collected is processed to look for an average score. From the results of data processing, it was found that the average score of teaching skills of PPL students in the Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang in the aspect of learning opening skills was 4,13 with good criteria, the skill of explaining the material was 4,15 with good criteria, the questioning skills were 4,24 with good criteria, the skills to provide reinforcement are 3,86 with good criteria, the skills to manage classes are 4,35 with good criteria, the skills to use various teaching variations are 4,15 with good criteria, the skills to use teaching media are 3,61 with good criteria, the skill of closing learning is 4,33 with good criteria. So according to students in Padang City State Vocational Schools who study with PPL students of the Education Admistration Department, Padang State University at Padang City State Vocational High School have been carried out well.

Abstract

One of the special education services in schools is school health services or commonly referred to as School Health Enterprises, hereinafter abbreviated as UKS. Which is the purpose of the UKS service, namely to provide health services to students who come to receive health services from school health officials. The purpose of this research is that the author wants to find data related to student views on UKS services at Padang City State Engineering Vocational Schools for the 2019/2020 year of entry as many as 2,085 people. The sample was determined by using the stratified proportional random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 97 respondents. Data were collected in this study by means of a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the formula mean (mean). Obtaining data analysis shows that the views of students on the School Health Business services provided by UKS officers at the State Technical Vocational School of Padang City can be seen from the indicator (1) the service time gets a good scale, namely at the number 3.92. (2) the service procedure obtained a good scale, namely at 3.99. (3) politeness obtains a good scale, namely at the number 4.04. (4) reliability of obtaining a good scale, namely at the number 4.02. (5) service certainty gets a good scale, namely at 3.99. It can be concluded that the students' views on the School Health Business services at the State Technical Vocational School of Padang City showed a good scale, namely obtaining a score of 3.99.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait Implementasi e-Rapor di SMKN Kelompok Bisnis Manajemen Kota Padang dilihat berdasarkan aspek optimisme, inovatif, ketidaknyamanan, dan ketidakamanan. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memiliki populasi 179 orang guru. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Proportionate Random Sampling. Sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 65 guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument kusioner model skala Likert yang telah dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reabilitas. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan rumus rata-rata (mean). Secara umum berdasarkan hasil penelitian Implementasi e-Rapor di SMKN Kelompok Bisnis Manajemen Kota Padang pada kategori cukup baik diperoleh nilai 3.38

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the personal competence of teachers at SMK N 10 Padang in terms of: having a noble character, displaying a solid personality, displaying a wise person, an authoritative personality, a role model for students, showing a mature personality, and a stable personality. . This research is a descriptive research. This research is a population study involving all 55 teachers of SMK N 10 Padang. To see the validity and reliability of the data being tested, a Likert scale model questionnaire was used. Data were analyzed using the mean formula. The results of this study with the mean that the teacher is able to display: (1) noble character 4,3, (2) steady personality 4,1, (3) role model for students 4,19, (4) stable personality 4,04, (5) mature personality 4.0 (6) wise person 3.84 and (7) the teacher is quite capable of displaying an authoritative personality 3.49. So the Teacher Personality Competence at SMK N 10 Padang is in the criteria of being able with the result of 3.99.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan informasi mengenai pengelolaan program unit produksi dalam hal perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan unit produksi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua guru produktif di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 5 Padang dengan total populasi 58 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi dimana jumlah subjek tidak lebih 100, maka diambil semua subjeknya memakai teknik sampling jenuh, pada teknik ini seluruh populasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunan instrument kusioner menggunakan skala linkert setelah dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Informasi atau data yang terkumpul dilakukan analisis dengan rumus rata – rata (mean). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan tentang pengelolaan program unit produksi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 5 Kota Padang secara keseluruhan ada pada kriteria baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,60.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan penjelasan perihal pengetahuan pendidik tentang kepemimpinan transformasional pemimpin di SMP Negeri se-Kec. Rao Selatan Kab, Pasaman yang dilihat dari: (1) Memotivasi dan Mengispirasi, (2) Intelektual Stimulasi dan (3) Pertimbangan Individu. Adapun pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan adalah seberapa baik kepemimpinan transformasional pemimpin di SMPN se-Kec. Rao Selatan Kab Pasaman yang dilihat dari: (1) Motivasi dan Inspirasi, (2) intelektual Stimulasi dan (3) Pertimbangan Individual berdasarkan persepsi guru. Seluruh guru di SMPN se Kecamatan Rao Selatan sebagai populasi berjumlah 102 orang sehingga contoh riset berjumlah 51 orang guru yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik propotional random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket/kuesioner model skala Likert yang telah diujicobakan untuk melihat validitas dan reliabelitas angket. Hasilnya adalah tanggapan guru terhadap kepemimpinan transformasional kepala SMPN 1 se-Kec. Rao Selatan Kab. Pasaman sudah dilaksanakan secara efektif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran lebih lanjut mengenai komparasi komunikasi interpersonal guru di SMK Negeri 2 Padang dengan SMK Negeri 3 Padang meliputi komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan kepala sekolah, guru dengan guru dan guru dengan siswa di SMKN 2 dan 3 Padang yang dilihat dari aspek : a) Keterbukaan, b) Empati, c) Sikap Mendukung, d) Sikap Positif dan e) Kesamaan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan komunikasi interpersonal guru di SMKN 2 Padang dengan SMKN 3 Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif. Populasi yaitu semua guru SMKN 2 dan 3 Padang dengan jumlah 188 orang dan sampel sebanyak 132 orang. Teknik yang digunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen menggunakan angket model skala Likert. Angket ini telah diuji cobakan dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS 16.0. Hasilnya 73 validitas dan 29 invalid. Reliabilitas Instrumen menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Pengelolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis T-tes. Hasil analisis pengolahan data penelitian yaitu 1) Komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan kepala sekolah sudah efektif di SMKN 2 dan 3 Padang yaitu 88,47%. 2) Komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan guru sudah efektif di SMKN 2 dan 3 Padang yaitu 86,28%. 3) Komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan siswa sudah sangat efektif di SMKN 2 dan 3 Padang yaitu 91,13%. 4) Tidak terdapat perbedaan komunikasi interpersonal guru di SMKN2 Padang dengan SMKN 3 Padang, karena t-hitung < t-tabel yaitu 0,313 < 1,65.
