Abstract

Singosari District, Malang Regency, which is located at the foot of the mountain, is an area that has many water sources. This activity is carried out to identify problems and potentials that can endanger this natural resource. Activities are carried out by direct visits to 3 source locations. The results of the visit showed that around the location there were still many trees to support water sources. Utilization by the community can cause potential environmental damage in the form of non-organic waste. Community service activities can be carried out in the form of educating the community.

Abstract

Keamanan dan kualitas air sangat penting bagi perkembangan dan kesejahteraan manusia. Menyediakan akses ke air bersih adalah salah satu instrumen paling efektif dalam mempromosikan kesehatan dan mengurangi kemiskinan. Sumber Kendedes Singosari merupakan tempat wisata dengan kolam renang dan sungai irigasi. Sungai ini digunakan masyarakat untuk berbagai keperluan, termasuk wisata air lokalan. Perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan masih banyak terjadi di sumber ini dan menjadi persoalan mendasar. Hal ini diindikasikan dengan adanya ceceran sampah di dekat tempat sampah yang telah disediakan. Ketersediaan tempah sampah juga memang belum memadai. Tujuan utama program pengabdian ini adalah memberikan kecukupan jumlah tempat sampah dan meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat pengguna Kali Kendedes terhadap kebersihan dan tertib membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Dampak dari ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan adalah peningkatan kebersihan sumber air dan aliran Kali Kendedes. Dampak jangka panjang yang bisa diharapkan adalah munculnya potensi pengembangan area tersebut sebagai lokasi wisata air skala lokal dan wisata edukasi, yang bisa dijadikan ikon pendapatan desa. Kegiatan direncanakan dilakukan dengan cara edukasi tidak langsung melalui penyediaan sarana dan mini brosur. Berdasarkan diskusi dengan mitra yang menjadi penanggung jawab area tersebut, penempatan tempat sampah dilakukan pada waktu Kali Kendedes sedang penuh pengunjung. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung telah menjadi peringatan halus bagi pengunjung untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Teknik edukasi ini menimbulkan respon spontan sebagaimana diharapkan.

Abstract

Layanan perawatan dan perbaikan ban kendaraan melalui service ban bocor baik secara manual maupun tubeless. Kehadiran ban tubeless pada sepeda motor akhirnya berefek pada usaha bengkel ban motor Kelurahan Candirenggo Kecamatan Singosari ada di Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur, tepatnya di jalan raya Candirenggo sebagai mitra satu-satunya pemilik usaha bengkel ban motor. Dengan semakin meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan roda 4 dan roda 2, semakin banyak kebutuhan manusia khususnya pengguna jalan. Oleh karena itu sebagai penyedia jasa  bengkel ban motor pelaku usaha membuat dan memodifikasi  alat bantu  pembuka ban. Peluang inilah diusulkan pada Program PROPENMAS untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan jasa layanan dengan sentuhan teknologi. Tujuannya agar tidak  menimbulkan retensi dari konsumen dikarenakan ketakutan akan lecetnya velg motor ataupun ban baru yang bisa saja koyak ketika ingin dipasang. Seiring hasil jasa layanan yang berkualitas dapat merubah pelayanan yang prima, berkualitas, disukai banyak pelanggan yang berujung pada system pelayanan online. Dalam masa 3 bulan pelaksanaan kegiatan, desain alat bantu teknologi tepat guna pembuka ban motor sudah bisa berfungsi sempurna. Kapasitas proses pelepasan meningkat pesat dari semula rata-rata 5 menit menjadi 2 menit. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya ketepatan dan kecepatan proses yang cukup tinggi. Kendala utama yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah pada 1) aspek peralatan tepat guna yang memerlukan modifikasi desain teknologi, 2) pendampingan dan pembiasaan operator terhadap sistem kerja mesin dan perawatan 3) memberikan mitra untuk mengembangkan metode kewirausahaan dan manajemen. Kendala pertama telah bisa diatasi dengan baik, sementara kendala kedua dan ketiga sedang diupayakan penanganannya dengan metode pendampingan secara berkala.

Abstract

Objective:  So this study is trying to analyze the potency of Javanesse Gending as the therapeutic music. It is a further exploration of the finding state that the Gending Tejanatha has the spectral characteristic similarity with The Magic Flute of Mozart. Material and methods: The study was done by analyze the audio characteristics patterns of five Javanesse Gending (JG) compare with the  five classical music (CM) of Mozart and Beethoven. The audio characteristics were obtained from the sound analyzer program. The results were in form of spectral graphics. The parameters include spectral envelope, sound intensity and frequency.Result:  JG and CM have different pattern for the left and the right audio. This indicate difference stimulus for the neural, that will appear as cross references for primary audiory area. The frequencies of JG is higher than CM. The frequency and envelope indicate the variation of emotion that will be induced. It represent the sound colour (timbre). The JG timbre is determined by the material of the instruments, used to made from copper or iron. This material does infuence the emotional responses, especially to the player (pengrawit). The influence of the timbre, not as intens as the influence of the musical tempo that relate with the rhythm harmony. In the JG, the musical tempo represent the soul of this music. It is very essential. The tempo changes from the  usual pattern will raise the anxiety.Conclusion: It can be concluded that the JG has the same potency as the CM to be used as therapeutic music. The JG has the higher potency to influence emotional state than the CM due to its envelope profile.

Abstract

Tari Gandrung Banyuwangi merupakan tari daerah yang memiliki karakteristik gerak yang rancak atau dinamis. Tari ini memiliki beberapa ragam gerakan tubuh yang membutuhkan keahlian dan kondisi fisik penari yang memadai untuk penampilannya. Kajian biomekanika tari di Indonesia belum banyak dilakukan, khususnya jika ditinjau dari segi mekanika gaya. Tari Gandrung memiliki kemiripan gerak dengan tari Balet jika diacu pada posisi kaki dan tangan. Kajian mekanika gaya tari Gandrung dapat dianalogikan dengan kajian tari Balet. Artikel ini menunjukkan alur pikir penyusunan model matematis tari Gandrung Banyuwangi sebagai bentuk kajian biomekanika. Penyusunan model matematis dilakukan dengan dasar bahwa tari Gandrung memiliki gerak yang melandaskan berat badan pada tapak kaki bagian depan (jinjid). Hal ini akan menghasilkan perubahan keseimbangan tubuh akibat gaya reaksi permukaan lantai sebagai bentuk gaya-gaya aksi yang mengarah pada tubuh penari. Pemodelan hanya dilakukan untuk posisi ‘ngeber’ dan posisi’ pundakan’, yaitu dua posisi yang banyak ditemukan dalam tari Gandrung Banyuwangi. Model matematis disusun menggunakan prinsip keseimbangan gaya yang mengacu pada hukum kedua Newton. Gaya-gaya reaksi yang terjadi selanjutnya disusun dalam sebuah persamaan matematis sebagai persamaan umum yang menggambarkan beban biomekanika tari Gandrung Banyuwangi yang dialami tubuh penari. Analisis masih didasarkan pada kondisi statis sesaat.

Abstract

The performances of the equipments are measured by overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This parameter consists of availability, operation reliability and product quality. Predictive maintenance system focus on measuring the effectiveness and availability of the vehicles used in the production process. The maintenance system usually done its work by analysis the lubrication oil used in parts of the vehicles. The parameters that will be analyzed are commonly consist of two testing procedures. The first is identify the state of lubrication performance, and the second is measuring the viscosity values of oil samples. This study try to developt the further test for the oil samples in the form of analyze the metal concentration consisted in. This procedure is meant to show the rate of part wearing as the basic of concluding the PM process. The alternative method offer maintenance cost optimation by avoiding the sudden breakdown  and prolong the part lifetime. The study is taking two type Big Digger Machine as comparator. The results show that the common PM has conclusion to let the PC 2000 stay in the process meanwhile the PC 4000 facing the overhaul and replacing the spareparts. The metal inclusion testing procedure show that the PC 2000 oil samples have higher metal concentration. It means that the PC 2000 parts need replacement more than PC 4000. The PC 4000 just need the overhaul process. This finding approve that alternative PM give more accurate results than the common. Abstract

Teflon wastes are slightly difficult to recycle because the recycle products have different characteristic. Teflon wastes in flake form can used as alternative composite material. This research is aimed to get the effect of teflon waste due to mechanical properties of fiber composite. The research is done with laboratory experiments. Three different kind of Teflon which are white, blue and grey are studied. Teflon fiber compositions are varied as 0, 50, 70 and 90% of composite volume. The fibers are varied in length as 2, 3 and 4 cm, with 1 mm in width and thickness. Tensile tests are conducted for specimens with ASTM D-4762 standard. Charpy impact tests are conduct for specimens with with ASTM E 23 standard. The crack of the specimens are visualized with a digital camera. The result shows that Teflon fiber has effect due to mechanical properties. White Teflon tend to have greater tensile and impact strength rather grey and blue Teflon. The increase of Teflon composite volume tends to increase tensile and impact strength. Teflon length also tends to increase tensile and impact strength. Abstract

Injuries in dancing activities can occur while practicing or during performance. Repetitive movements can be a major cause of injury when dancing. One of the injuries that can be fatal is spinal cord injury. The clinical manifestations of injury to the spine arise based on the location of the trauma. This study aims to identify potential movements that can cause spinal cord injury from the Bapang Malangan Dance. This potential is viewed from the movements that have a rotational effect on the spinal cord. The research was conducted by imitating several dance movements that were considered to have the potential to cause rotational motion in the spine. The measurement results of the spine rotational angle are used as the basis for carrying out kinematic and dynamic analysis. The degree of potential injury arising from movement is referred to at the normal allowable angle. From the results of the study, it is known that the area of ​​the neck segment from the spinal line of Bapang Malangan dancers is a potentially injury critical area. This is related to the rotation angle that occurs (50-60o) exceeds the maximum limit of normal rotation (45o). The load that works at the point of rotation is the weight of the head which act as pendulum with a combination of compressive effects. The development of research can be directed to the dynamic effects of dance movements, focusing on the study of modes of motion 2 that produce rotational changes in the entire spinal line, studying the combined effects of other body parts, and considering the dancer's skill.

Abstract

Tari Gandrung Banyuwangi sebagai tari tradisional dan tari Balet sebagai tari klasik memiliki gerakan tubuh yang unik dan rumit. Keunikan dan kerumitan gerak ini menuntut kekuatan fisik dan kelenturan tubuh penari-penarinya. Tari Balet merupakan salah satu topik yang banyak dikaji, khususnya dari aspek gerak dan biomekanika. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potensi biomekanis tari Gandrung berdasarkan perbandingan dengan tari Balet. Perbandingan dilakukan melalui kajian literatur yang menunjukkan kesamaan kedua jenis tari. Selanjutnya, dilakukan review penelitian tari Balet untuk mendapatkan acuan ukuran potensi tari Gandrung. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa tari Gandrung dan tari Balet memiliki kesamaan antara lain pada gerak dasar langkah kaki, posisi tubuh condong ke depan dan posisi tumpuan di ujung telapak kaki. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa tari Gandrung juga memiliki potensi untuk menjadi bahan kajian gerak dan biomekanika tari, bahkan berpotensi sebagai bentuk terapi fisik.

Abstract

The problem of poverty in fishing communities has become a cultural cycle. The issue has become a long causal chain of various aspects that is difficult to unravel over the years. The number of fishers is decreasing while the potential of marine resources has not been fully explored. It happens because poverty alleviation for fishing communities is only around 1% per year. The poverty alleviation program is closely related to the empowerment of fishing communities in running their businesses. So far, the fishing community's business problems have focused on weather/climate, infrastructure, technology (very little touched/used), and capital. However, not all fishing communities are not prosperous. There are different levels of exploration of marine potential in other areas. The Muncar fishing community is included in the successful category with Indonesia's second-largest business scale. The Muncar fisherman's business system, although applying the general Juragan-Worker method, has a traditional fishing method called Slerek, a boat system in pairs, one for fishing, the other providing accommodation. The Slerek system promises optimal catch. The catch-sharing system is 50:50 for the skipper and his group of workers. The Muncar fishing community business system can be adopted into an empowering marine worker business system after several modifications and adjustments have been made regarding the remaining problems.
