Abstract

Dosen adalah pendidik profesional sesuai dengan Undang-undang No. 14 tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Tugas utama yaitu mentransformasikan, mengembangkan, dan menyebar luaskan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni melalui pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, menuntut para dosen untuk selalu mengembangkan kompetensi. Di sisi lain, profesi dosen identik dengan beban kerja yang tinggi tetapi relatif rendah dari segi penghasilan finansial. Hal ini seringkali menjadi kendala dalam bentuk waktu dan biaya yang berdampak pada pengembangan kompetensi dan karir. Kompetensi dan karir dosen merupakan dua aspek yang saling terkait. Kedua aspek ini akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dosen maupun pengembangan lembaga perguruan tingginya. Selain itu, pengembangan kompetensi dan karir dosen juga terkait dengan regulasi dan kebijakan. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu sinergi berbagai pihak untuk dapat lebih memacu pengembangan kompetensi dan karir dosen. Kata kunci: dosen, profesi, kompetensi, karir

Abstract

Padepokan Seni Mangun Dharma didirikan pada tahun 1989 untuk mewadahi aktivitas berkesenian tradisional dari warga desa. Sebagai organisasi yang awalnya 80 anggota, kemudian meliputi beberapa ratus personil, padepokan ini juga mengalami permasalahan klasik profesi kesenian. Permasalahan itu dikategorikan sebagai permasalahan yang dipengaruhi oleh waktu karena musiman, tergantung keahlian personal yang tidak tergantikan sehingga pembebanan tugas dan pemerataan penghasilan sulit dilakukan; transaksional tergantung peminatan konsumen; bercirikan seni pertunjukan yang mendatangkan keramaian dan kerumunan; dan belum tertata dalam manajemen bisnis sebagaimana perusahaan komersil. Permasalahan yang akan dibantu penyelesaiannya adalah tentang minat personal, yang mempengaruhi keputusan untuk membeli jasa dan/atau benda seni, sebagai masalah keterbatasan pangsa pasar. Solusi terhadap permasalahan ini bisa dilakukan, salah satunya, dalam bentuk penyuluhan pada masyarakat tentang biomekanika tari. Kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran pada masyarakat tentang manfaat-manfaat medika klinis dari berolahtari. Peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat diharapkan menghasilkan dampak pada peningkatan minat masyarakat untuk menari. Hal ini akan secara langsung meningkatkan kebutuhan atas jasa instruktur tari yang disediakan Mitra. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 cara, yaitu (1) Penyuluhan terhadap warga sekitar padepokan, dan (2) Membuat konten publikasi untuk diunggah pada media sosial, dengan tujuan memperluas penyebaran pengetahuan biomekanika tari, khususnya bagi warga media sosial. Kegiatan ini sudah terlaksana dengan baik, mendapatkan apresiasi tinggi dari masyarakat seni sekitar padepokan.

Abstract

Pedagang lalapan adalah satu kelompok UMKM yang sangat terdampak kebijakan PPKM, khususnya pada pelaksanaan makan di tempat dan pembatasan waktu buka warung. Mayoritas pedagang makanan tersebut mengikuti aplikasi-aplikasi online untuk tetap bisa berjualan. Permasalahan yang terjadi dari kepesertaan dalam aplikasi penjualan online tersebut adalah munculnya tuntutan untuk waktu proses pesanan yang tinggi. Di sisi lain, pedagang makanan tersebut umumnya tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan modal usaha yang bisa digunakan untuk memenuhi target kecepatan pesanan. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Warung Lalapan Gapung di area bisnis Perempatan Candirenggo. Permasalahan yang akan diselesaikan juga terkait dengan kecepatan proses produksi. Hal ini akan dilakukan dengan cara memodifikasi kompor gas untuk penggorengan bahan makanan dengan menggunakan induksi medan magnet. Konsep teknologi tersebut merupakan hasil riset disertasi pengusul. Tujuan dari modifikasi tersebut adalah meningkatkan efisiensi proses pembakaran dengan meningkatkan energi pembakaran bahan bakar gas kompor. Diharapkan hal tersebut bisa mempercepat proses produksi sehingga mengarah pada peningkatan potensi pendapatan mitra. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kompor modifikasi dengan menggunakan medan magnet terbaca suhu pada kisaran 190oC, sementara tanpa magnet hanya berkisar 120oC. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil riset yang digunakan sebagai acuan kegiatan. Peningkatan suhu tersebut memberikan potensi percepatan proses memasak sekitar 20-30%. Variasi ini dipengaruhi oleh jenis bahan yang digoreng. Hal ini menjadi temuan yang menarik untuk ditindaklanjuti.

Abstract

Dance performances are art communication between dancers and their audience. The regional art unique characteristics are local cultural wealth form. One of the Malang regency traditional dance is the Gunungsari Mask dance. The dancer response to accompaniment gending can be analyzed from the psychoacoustic aspect. This study aims to analyze the psychoacoustic of the Gunungsari gending. Sound analysis was performed using Wave Surfer to obtain temporal and spectral signals. The WavePad application is used to get the FFT for spectral and TFT for temporal. Furthermore, Audacity is used to numerize the voice signal. Each sample was taken as 100 data from the graph per minute. The numerical results were processed using Microsoft Excel to obtain the graph trend line equation. The results showed that the Gunungsari gending had polynomial patterns for spectral and temporal. The temporal pattern corresponds to 6 degree polynomial regression while the spectral is of 3-4 degree. Thus, Gending Gunungsari has Angka Gending (as cited reference) that are in accordance and can be used as therapeutic gending.

Abstract

Pilot merupakan faktor manusia yang memainkan peranan utama dalam dunia penerbangan. Beban kerja pilot dengan tingkat kelelahan yang relatif tinggi sangat berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan penerbangan. Kondisi kerja yang memberikan kenyamanan sangat diperlukan. Perbaikan dan pengembangan kokpit pesawat perlu dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kondisi kerja pilot yang sesuai. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mereview hasil penelitian ergonomi kokpit sebagai perbaikan lingkungan kerja pilot. Review dilakukan dengan penelusuran pustaka hasil penelitian di internet. Pencarian dilakukan dengan kata kunci ergonomi, kokpit, pesawat dan pilot, kemudian disusun ringkasan topik riset dan hasil penelitiannya. Hasil penelusuran mendapatkan 9 referensi yang disusun berdasarkan urutan tahun dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil ringkasan dianalisis untuk mendapatkan perkembangan dan tren penelitian yang ada. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kokpit pesawat banyak dilakukan pada kursi pilot. Kajian dilakukan pada aspek biomekanika yaitu respon tubuh terhadap lingkungan kerja. Pengembangan juga dilakukan untuk tata letak kokpit, sistem kontrol dan alat bantu latihan bagi pilot.

Abstract

In the Malangan mask dance drama, the dance is accompanied by the strains of gending. Padepokan Mangun Darma Tumpang's version of Gending Bapang is the longest, according to the duration of the dance and the highest diversity of movements. This makes the Bapang dance and music version of the Mangun Darma hermitage a complete object of study, which can be used as a reference for other versions of Bapang research. This article aims to examine the temporal aspect of Bapang Malangan's music from the point of view of psychoacoustic studies. The temporal aspect is related to time-based vibration (sound) variables that are real time. Gending analysis is done using a sound processing application called Audacity. The research data will be converted into a temporal graph t (time) - A (amplitude). The temporal chart pattern will be analyzed for the strength and weakness of the voice, the dynamics of the sound, and the musical character. The results of the graphic analysis will be used as the basis for making a discussion about psychoacoustic gending. The results showed that the Bapang Malangan music version of Padepokan Mangun Dharma Tumpang Malang had a score of 4 which was the category of music therapy. Temporal characters represented by sound intensity have an average of 28.7 dB for the left sound and 30.1 dB for the right voice. This makes this gending does not include harmful noise.

Abstract

Biomechanics is the study of internal and external forces acting on the body of living things and the effects of these forces. The study of the motion of living things is carried out by applying theories and laws of motion. The forces acting on the human body organ systems in biomechanics include gravitational force, body reaction force and muscle force. These forces can be measured using a dynamometer. This study aims to design a load cell sensor-based dynamometer which is used as a mass sensor, applied to the design, then analyzed its accuracy for the study of the biomechanics of Bapang dancers. The design is based on the availability of research funds but refers to the Mettler Toledo weighing principle, where the floor scale is designed as a measuring base for the dancers to perform their dances. The area of ​​this measuring base is predefined as 1.25 x 1.25 m. This has reduced the accuracy of the design results considering the ideal area for free dancing is 3 x 3 m. The design results have worked well and can record changes in the load during changes in dancer movements. The measured reading accuracy value reaches 98.36% but still includes measurement errors due to differences in the place and time of the calibration measurement, and differences in the clothes of the people who are the object of the load. The load reading display captures an average time delay of 0.468 seconds. It is recommended that the drawbacks of this design be corrected by designing a dancer's load measurement system using a load sensor that is shaped like a ballet shoe, but uses a wireless data transfer system so that the dancers can move freely. In addition, the shoe-shaped dynamometer design can definitively separate the load readings for the right and left feet.

Abstract

Dancers experience various injuries, because dancing requires high intensity movements. Frequent injuries to dancers involve overuse of joints and muscles. The highest potential for injury is in the knee. However, in the Bapang Malangan Dance, the arms are the limbs that are often used in extreme movements. Thus the potential for injury can be high. This study focuses on the kinematics of arm movement of the Bapang Malangan Dance in relation to the possibility of injury. The research was carried out through analyzing image data resulting from the rendering of dance video footage, following a kinematics-based biomechanical framework and engineering dynamics. The results showed that the kinematic analysis of the Bapang dancer's arm was depicted only on the change in position because velocity and velocity could not be measured directly. Changes in the position of the Bapang dancer's arms can be depicted in graphic form through frame analysis of the transformed video files into image files. The arm joints that get a lot of weight are the shoulder and elbow joints, which in Bapang Malangan dancers have the potential to experience injury due to tugging and twisting. The complexities of movements and changes in dancer movements turn out to make it difficult to determine the speed and acceleration by analyzing the rendered images. A measuring instrument is needed that can directly measure arm movements when dancing. This tool must not use cables so as not to obstruct the dance movement. Abstract

Production control is an important aspect in a company. Control management is carried out as an effort to reduce and prevent product failures or defects. The purpose of writing this article is to review production failures through product quality control. The results of the review can be used as a situational analysis study for community service activities, especially for industrial engineering. The review is carried out by searching the literature for national publications over the last 10 years. The summary of the research is carried out by grouping based on the category of control method used, the field of study or product being studied and the results of the research. The results of the analysis show that the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method is widely used in case studies in manufacturing companies. Further research can be carried out to compare the application of the method to similar case studies. Community service activities in this field can be directed to implement the FMEA method for target partners for types of businesses that carry out production processes, goods, and services.

Abstract

Sumber Nagan is one of the water sources located in Gunungrejo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. This water source has cultural and religious values. The main use of this water source is for bathing, and drinking water sources. Some residents also use the overflow of water to wash. So far, Nagan Source has not been seen as one economic potential. When the PKM Team of Widyagama University of Malang has completed the repair of physical facilities in Sumber Nagan, there are positive comments from visitors and the user community regarding comfort. This turned out to cause side effects in the form of business land disputes among local residents. This phenomenon is discussed in this article because in general this kind of thing does not appear in community service activities. The results of the analysis show that the general assumptions compiled above the perception that the results of activities are things that should be enjoyed together, need to be reviewed. The situational analysis of partners needs to be extended to their potential social impact.
