Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa; pengaruh konsep diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui kebiasaan belajar; dan pengaruh kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa di SD Hang Tuah Makassar. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 108 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas III yaitu 31 siswa, kelas IV yaitu 34 siswa, dan kelas V yaitu 43 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan multistage random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 0,244 atau 24,4%; konsep diri berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui kebiasaan belajar sebesar 0,279 atau 27,9%; dan kebiasaan belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 0,12 atau 12%.

Abstract

This research is to develop a subjective test instrument based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on number pattern. The research method used in this research is research and development (RD). This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (Sugiyono, 2017). The results of the CVR test of 3 items showed that all questions met the appropriate criteria but were recommended for improvement. A total of 3 questions include material, construction, and language aspects. Then a limited field trial was conducted on 20 class VIII students of SMPN 2 Lembang. 3 valid questions used for wide field trials on 30 class VIII students of SMPN 2 Lembang. In the limited field test the reliability of the test is 0.615, while the broad field test reaches 0.642. Based on the discriminatory power, in the limited field test and the wide field test, the discriminatory power of the questions in both situations is quite good. Based on the level of difficulty in the limited field test questions, 3 moderate questions were found, while in the wide field test, 1 easy question and 2 medium questions.

Abstract

One of the abilities that the student must have to is problem-solving. Problem-solving is one of the activities in mathematics learning that train the student to think critically, logically, and systematically. Through these activities, students have the readiness to solve their problems in the future. This study aims to describe the mathematical problem-solving by students in grade eight. The type of research is qualitative descriptively with three subjects from grade eight middle school in Bulukumba. The indicator used to measure problem-solving ability is based on Polya's theory. To collect data, it was using problem-solving tests and interviews. The data analysis was using Miles and Huberman's theory. The result of the study shows the student's ability at a high level was able to meet all indicators, and the lower only got two or three of four.

Abstract

TEACHER SKILLS IN MAKING VARIATIONS IN MATHEMATICS LEARNING FOR CLASS V ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS (SD NEGERI PAKKOLOMPO)This study aims to describe variations in teaching styles, variations in the use of media and learning materials, and variations in interaction patterns and activities in Mathematics learning. The research conducted is descriptive qualitative research at SD Inpres Pakkolompo. The subjects in this study were fifth grade teachers, with principal informants and fifth grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data through triangulation of sources, times and methods. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique was using the interactive analysis model of the Milles and Hubberman models which included: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the teacher's skills in carrying out variations in Mathematics learning were 1) Variations in teaching styles including variations in voice through emphasizing important words; focusing attention through speech, gestures and clapping; make a moment of silence with a moment of silence; make contact by directing a holistic view of all students; variations of body movements and expressions through hand movements when writing, head movements, and showing cheerful facial expressions; and changing positions by moving and shifting positions to approach students. 2) Variations in the use of media and learning materials through variations of visual media such as modules, textbooks, or pictures; audio-visual media such as learning videos displayed on laptops, and motor media for building space and utilizing learning materials in the surrounding environment. 3) Variations in interaction patterns and activities, namely interaction patterns with the type of multi-way communication; and a variety of activities in the form of lectures, discussions, questions and answers, providing information through videos, or other media, as well as conducting learning outside the classroom.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to improve children's numeracy skills through snakes and ladders games in class B at Bukit Permai 2 Kindergarten in Kampili Village, Gowa Regency. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of implementation planning, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 1 teacher and 17 children in class B at Bukit Permai 2 Kindergarten. The object of this study was the ability to recognize number symbols through a game of snakes and ladders. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The instruments used were observation sheets and documentation results. Data analysis used is descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in numeracy skills in class B children at Bukit Permai 2 Kindergarten. The research implementation in cycle I and cycle II showed that children's numeracy skills could be seen from the percentage of observations of children's numeracy abilities in cycle I was 39.7% and the percentage of observations on the ability to recognize children's number symbols in cycle II was 82.8% with very good development criteria. Thus it can be concluded that using the snake and ladder game can improve the ability to recognize number symbols in class B children at Bukit Permai 2 Kindergarten.

Abstract

The practice of strengthening the teaching profession (P2K) is one of the academic requirements within the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar, especially in the department of primary school teacher education, which is oriented towards application and at the same time training for the knowledge gained. In the practice of strengthening the teaching profession, students conduct a class action research. This study aims to find out that mathematics learning outcomes can be improved through the method of giving assignments in class II, such as Muhammadiyah Sibatua. Whether or not there is a difference in student learning outcomes between the assignment method and the absence of the use of the assignment method in a lesson, which one has the greatest influence on the learning outcomes of class II students, e.g. Muhammadiyah Sibatua. The form of action taken in solving problems that exist in Classroom Action Research (CAR) is by learning using the assignment method. So it is hoped that it can improve the learning outcomes of class II students, such as Muhammadiyah Makassar. The method used in this research is descriptive with a classroom action research approach (CAR). While the data collection techniques and tools in the form of observation or observation is a technique or method of collecting data by observing ongoing activities. There are several things that must be considered in carrying out observations, including; Pay attention to the focal point of the study, determine the criteria to be observed. In carrying out observations there are several main steps that must be taken, including; planning meetings, class observations, feedback discussions. The purpose of each method of giving assignments in learning is very influential in every learning process because it will determine which direction the learning will be successful or not in accordance with the learning objectives to be achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Telkom Makassar, (2) mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Telkom Makassar melalui motivasi belajar, (3) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Telkom Makassar, (4) mengetahui lingkungan sekolah terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Telkom Makassar melalui motivasi belajar, (5) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Telkom Makassar. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Telkom Makassar pada kelas IV dengan jumlah sampel 56 siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto dengan menggunakan metode analisis jalur (path analysis). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi orang tua berkontribusi langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 7,45%, partisipasi orang tua berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,56%, lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 9,67%, lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,65%, motivasi belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 6,40%

Abstract

Research using a population, if the population is large and it is impossible for the reviewer to examine everything in the population, due to limited funds, manpower and time, the reviewer may use samples taken from a representative population. The study sample is part of the population taken as a data source and can represent the entire population. Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique Group Sampling (Area Sampling) The area sampling technique is used to determine the sample when the object being studied or the data source is very large. To determine the object used as a data source, sampling is based on the specified population area. In a qualitative study, informants were divided into three, namely: key informants, main informants, and supporting informants. Key informants are informants who have comprehensive information about the issues raised by investigators. The selection of informants in a qualitative study is determined entirely by the reviewer, which is why it is called purposive sampling, namely choosing information-rich cases based on the strategy and objectives set by the reviewer whose numbers depend on the objective and learning resources.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the development of the publication of scientific articles about the TPACK (Technological Pedagogic Content Knowledge) Model. The research method used was a literature review using a bibliometric analysis approach that started by searching the TPACK model keywords in the Scopus journal database from 2013 to 2022. The study results revealed that within a period of 10 years, from 2013 to 2022, there were 528 publications of the TPACK model published in Scopus-indexed journals. Meanwhile, the United States is the country that contributes the most to the number of published articles. The Journal of Physics Conference is listed as the journal that has contributed the most to the dissemination of the Scopus-indexed TPACK model articles. To get more comprehensive results, further research is not only limited to Scopus-indexed journals but also includes the integration of the TPACK component in the learning to be studied.

Abstract

Masalah utama dari penelitian ini yaitu apakah pendekatan keterampilan proses efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi volume bangun ruang kelas VB UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada murid kelas VB UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen yang melibatkan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Kelas eksperimen yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih secara Cluster Random Sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar (Pretest-Posttest), lembar observasi aktivitas murid, dan angket respon murid. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan hasil penelitian dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) pretest 27,95 sedangkan rata-rata (mean) posttest adalah 87,27. Nilai rata-rata posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pretest. Persentase rata-rata aktivitas murid  dalam penggunaan pendekatan keterampilan proses yaitu 86,93% yang berada pada kategori aktif. Nilai persentase rata-rata respon angket murid terhadap penggunaan pendekatan keterampilan proses yaitu 89,18% sehingga dikategorikan positif. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan hasil belajar matematika murid pada penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses lebih dari 70 (KKM). Nilai ketuntasan klasikal murid diajar dengan penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses lebih besar dari 75%. Gain ternormalisasi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika murid yang diajar dengan penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses lebih besar dari 0,30 (minimal kategori sedang). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika materi volume bangun ruang kelas VB UPT SPF SD Inpre Bontomanai.
