Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the evaluation of the KKNI-based curriculum program at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN North Sumatra Medan. The curriculum evaluation model used is the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This study used a qualitative approach, then data was obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation techniques as well as various sources. The results of this study indicate that (1) Context, from this aspect, FEBI UIN North Sumatra Medan applies an KKNI-based curriculum referring to Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2012; (2) Inputs, including lecturer's RPS, quizzes, assignments, learning participation, mid-semester exams and end-semester exams; (3) Process, including monitoring of internal quality assurance units at the FEBI and university levels at UIN North Sumatra Medan, as well as external quality assurance in the context of institutional and study program accreditation; (4) Product, through formative evaluation (such as group assignments, quizzes, individual assignments, exams) and empirical evaluation (behavior and student participation in the learning process).

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the role of the academic supervision of the madrasa principal in improving the quality of education in the State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Langkat Regency, this study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The findings of this study are (1) the activities of the principal as a supervisor in coordinating activities, including coordination of guiding activities via microphone, coordination between teachers in the field of study, making roster and positioning teachers according to their field of expertise; (2) The activities of the principal as a supervisor in providing consultants, include (a) individual techniques (class visits, personal observation and guidance in the office) and (b) group techniques (meetings or regular meetings every month); (3) The activities of the principal as a supervisor in the group leader, in the form of leading firmly, helping or facilitating teachers to develop their potential, providing direction and guidance related to general teaching guidelines, as well as meeting the needs of teachers in teaching; (4) The activities of the principal as a supervisor in the evaluator, include providing assistance in assessing learning processes and outcomes, helping teachers choose the right method according to the curriculum; (5) Factors that affect education supervision in MIN Langkat Regency a) inhibiting factors include: teacher hours are too tight so it is difficult to hold meetings, the head of the foundation that limits all activities, the skills and expertise of the principal who are lacking in carrying out their roles, the principal's time is limited.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the madrasa principal's leadership, work ethics, and internal stakeholder trust in the management of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Deli Serdang Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. The technique used in the research uses descriptive, comparative and analytical qualitative research techniques from the results of field observation studies, documentation studies, interviews and triangulation so as to obtain data, original information, natural phenomenology on the actual research subject. The sample in this study was all the heads of public and private madrasah tsanawiyah as many as 130 head of madrasah tsanawiyah Deli Serdang district. The data analysis was carried out using content analysis, comparative and analysis from the results of the observation study documentation, triangulation interviews from the data obtained in the study. The results revealed that there was a decrease in the effectiveness of the leadership of the madrasa principal, work ethic, and the trust of stakeholders in the district of Deli Serdang during the pandemic. covid 19 by: 1. Madrasah principal decision makers are less democratic and less in favor of teachers; 2. Madrasah principals are less than ideal in dividing the proportion of working hours to teachers; 3. The principal of the madrasa does not maximize the supporting devices for online learning activities at school; 4. Not prioritizing services to students both online and directly coming to school; 5. The existence of madrasa activity programs that are not well implemented online or offline; 6. Inability of the head of madrasa to solve internal problems properly; 7, Lack of confidence that the head of the madrasa in carrying out his duties as a manager.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of punishment and the implementation of extracurricular activities as an effort to discipline and shape the character of students at MTsN 2 Tapanuli Tengah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical study method. The process of data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and document studies. Furthermore, the researchers carried out data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, as the stages of data analysis. Finally, the validity of the research data is recognized after going through data triangulation (methods and sources). The results of this study indicate that punishment at MTsN 2 Tapanuli Tengah, is actively carried out to create student discipline. The punishment is given in accordance with the violation of the rules carried out and the light punishment applied in the madrasa in the form of cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the madrasa yard, and doing assignments, while the severe punishment is that students are given a warning letter calling their parents to create student discipline by not repeating the violation of school rules. the same one. In addition to giving punishments, MTsN 2 Tapanuli Tengah also provides extracurricular activities to instill character and student discipline, extracurricular activities include; Tahfidzul Quran, Scouts, Intra Madrasah Student Organization (OSIM), Science Olympiad, Pencak Silat, Drum Band, Futsal, Football, and Dance. Thus, students of MTsN 2 Tapanuli Tengah are expected to be competitive, both in the academic and non-academic fields globally, and can produce high-quality and dedicated achievements.

Abstract

Privacy is a basic thing inherent in every human being, including students. Laws that apply in every part of the country, including Indonesia, agree to protect human rights and fulfill the rights of every citizen. This study aims to analyze student privacy and education policy as a study of student rights in the perspective of Islamic education. The approach of this research is using qualitative with literature study method. Sources of data and study analysis materials were obtained from credible relevant scientific literature. The credible search pages that the researchers classify include google scholar, DOAJ, science direct, tandfonline, and moraref. The results of this study found that students have a high curiosity and express all their desires freely. This free desire is a separate limitation for students, so that they do not conflict with ethical and social norms that apply in society. On this basis, laws or policies related to discipline and discipline for students must be fair, equal, and egalitarian. Thus, students' rights are still fulfilled to develop self-potential expressively, and are directed at positive things according to the applicable regulations in educational institutions.
