Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis rosella yang menghasilkan  imunitas benih ikan Gurame yang diuji tantang dengan menggunakan bakteri  Aeromonas hydrophila. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua tahap. Penenlitian tahap pertama adalah penentuan LD50 selama 96 jam dan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Dosis bakteri A. hydrophila yang digunakan pada uji LD50 adalah 104 cell/mL, 105 cell/mL, 106 cell/mL, 107 cell/mL dan Kontrol (0 cell/mL). Mortalitas benih ikan Gurame dievaluasi. Pada penelitian tahap kedua, benih ikan Gurame dipelihara selama 30 hari dan diberi pakan berdasarkan perlakuan. Perlakuannya adalah A (Kontrol, 0 g rosella/kg pakan), B (20 g rosella/kg pakan), dan C (30 g rosella/kg pakan). Setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali. Setiap ekor ikan Gurame diuji tantang dengan menggunakan 103 sel Aeromonas hydrophila pada uji tantang pertama dan 104 sel Aeromonas hydrophila pada uji tantang  kedua untuk penentuan imunitas terbaik. Mortalitas, total leukosit, total eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit dan indeks fagositik dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa LD50 adalah 104 sel/mL. Penelitian tahap kedua memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan saangat nyata  (P<0,01) diantara perlakuan terhadap mortalitas benih ikan Gurame.  Dosis rosella terbaik adalah 30 g rosella/kg pakan  dengan mortalitas ikan Grame sebesar 8,26%, total leukosit  6,873 x 105 sel/mm3, total eritrosit 2,043 x 106 sel/mm3, hemoglobin 6,55 g%, hematokrit 20,59% dan indeks fagositik 64%.

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the optimum level of inclusion of blood flour in feed formulaton of Nile Tilapia as a substitute for fish meal. The materials of this research are a feed and Nile Tilapia with an average weight of 17 g of a total of 120 fingerling. The experiment design has been conducted  were completely random design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments are the substitution of fish meal with the blood flour of  0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Spesific growth rate, the mount of feed consumption, food efficiency,  survival rate, and water quality has been evaluated.  The results of research showed that spesific growth rate  and food efficiency were significantly different between treatments (P<0.05), and the highest of spesific growth rate  and food efficiency there are on treatment D (the substitution of fish meal with the blood flour of 75%) each 1.75% and 63.45%. The lowest of spesific growth rate  and food efficiency there are on treatment A (the substitution of fish meal with the blood flour of  0%) each 1.42% and 48.98%. The blood fluor as a substitution of fish meal in artificial feed for Nile Tilapia can substitute the fish meal of 100% with level of inclusion of  9% in feed formulation. The combination between the blood fluor and fish meal give the best of  growth performance and feed efficiency. Key words: Nile Tilapia, feed efficiency, survival rate, growth rate

Abstract

One of the technologies to keep the water quality remains optimal ias a recirculation system. This research is aimed to determine the influence of denisity of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) on the recirculation system. Fish test used is catfish fry the age of 2 weeks with average weight 0.58 g and an average length of 2.7 cm as much as 10,000 fish. The experimental research used completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were A (20 fish/liter of water), B (30 fish/liter of water), C (40 fish/liter of water) and D (50 fish/liter of water). The survival rate, the feed efficiency, and water quality has been observed. The results of research showed that the survival rate and the feed efficiency were significantly different (P<0.05). The highest survival rate in this research was in the treatment A (20 fish/liter of water) that was 70.5%. The stocking density of catfish fry of 20 fish/liter of water can be used as basis for  the maintenance of catfish fry for reach the optimal survival rate. Key words: Catfish, survival rate, feed efficiency, recirculation

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah pemberian pakan terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan efisiensi pakan pada ikan Tengadak (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengakap dengan 3 perlakuan dan masing-masing  3 ulangan untuk setiap perlakuan. Percobaan menggunakan benih ikan Tengadak dengan rataan bobot 0,69 g dan panjang 3,7 cm, masing-masing kolam berisi 120 benih ikan. Perlakuan adalah jumlah pemberian pakan 3% (A), 6% (B), dan 9% (C) dari biomassa ikan per hari. Pertambahan  bobot mutlak, pertambahan panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, efisiensi pakan, dan kualitas air dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang nyata diantara perlakuan (P<0,05) terhadap pertambahan  bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian, dan efisiensi pakan, tetapi tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05) diantara perlakuan terhadap pertambahan panjang mutlak dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup. Pertambahan bobot mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan C, masing-masing  9,79±1,70 g dan 6,03±0,36 %, tetapi efisiensi pakan terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan A (173,11±34,34%).   Key Words: Jumlah pemberian pakan, benih ikan Tengadak, pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis bunga rosella (Hibiscussabdariffa L.) yang akan menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup terbaik benih ikan gurami (OsphronemusgouramyLac.).Rancangan percobaan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah dosis rosella yang berbeda, yaitu : perlakuan A (0 g rosella/kg pakan), perlakuan B (20 g rosella/kg pakan), dan perlakuan C (30 g rosella/kg pakan). Ikan yang digunakan adalah benih ikan gurami dengan ukuran 2-3 g dengan padat tebar 40 ekor/akuarium. Parameter percobaan yang diamati selama penelitian adalah laju pertumbuhan harian, derajat kelangsungan hidup, efisiensi pakan. Hasil penelitian mempertunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan dengan kandungan rosella yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap laju pertumbuhan harian, derajat kelangsungan hidup, dan efisiensi pakan. Perlakuan pemberian dosis 20 g rosella/kg pakan menghasilkan laju pertumbuhan harian, derajat kelangsungan hidup, dan efisiensi pakan terbaik yaitu 1,041%, 68,88%, 17,729%. Kata kunci : Ikan gurami, bunga rosella, pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui level inklusi optimal tepung ikan asin bawah standar dalam formulasi pakan ikan Nila sebagai pengganti tepung ikan. Perlakuan terdiri atas penggunaan tepung ikan asin bawah standar dengan dosis 0%, 4%, 8%, 13%, dan 17%. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik, efisiensi pakan, konsumsi pakan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan kualitas air telah dievaluasi. Kisaran laju pertumbuhan spesifik, konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pakan, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup adalah 2,50-2,58%, 56,84-60,69%, 292,44-297,45 g, dan 97,78-100,00%. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan teknik silase dan spray dried terhadap daya cerna tepung darah pada ikan Nila. Penelitian ini memakain Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Sebagai perlakuan adalah tepung darah tanpa teknik pengolahan (kontrol), tepung darah dengan teknik silase, dan tepung darah dengan teknik spray dried. Percobaan menggunakan benih Nila berbobot 7,0 g, tiap akuarium berisi 20 ekor benih ikan Nila. Nilai kecernaan protein, nilai kecernaan lemak, nilai kecernaan energi, dan nilai kecernaan total dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan ada perbedaan diantara perlakuan secara nyata terhadap nilai kecernaan protein, nilai kecernaan lemak, nilai kecernaan energi, dan nilai kecernaan total (P<0,05). Nilai kecernaan protein, nilai kecernaan lemak, nilai kecernaan energi, dan nilai kecernaan total  tertinggi dari perlakuan teknik silase adalah 96,56%, 90,48%, 94,15%, dan 92,08%.Kata Kunci: Silase darah, spray dried, nilai kecernaan, ikan Nila

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui jenis pakan alami yang menunjang kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan yang tinggi untuk benih ikan Maanvis. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga perlakuan, yaitu A (Tubifex sp. hidup), B (Cacing darah beku), dan C (Daphnia sp. beku). Ikan yang dipergunakan ialah benih ikan Maanvis berukuran 3,0 – 3,5 cm dan diberi pakan secara ad libitum 3 kali sehari. Parameter yang diukur meliputi kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan. Pemberian pakan alami berupa Tubifex sp. memberikan pertumbuhan bobot dan panjang total terbaik yaitu 3,05 g dan 2,64 cm. Pertumbuhan bobot dan panjang total terendah pada perlakuan pemberian pakan Daphnia sp. yaitu 0,61g dan 0,84 cm. Semua perlakuan menghasilkan kelangsungan hidup 100%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the growth and survival rate of Giant Freshwater Prawns and Nilem fish are reared in polyculture system with different of stocking density of Nilem fish. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications were used in this experiment, the different stocking density of Nilem fish as a treatments were as followed: A) 25 fish / m2; B) 50 fish / m2; and C) 75fish / m2 while stocking density of Giant Freshwater Prawn was 20 prawn / m2 for all treatmets. Culture period was 3 months, the waste of fish was maintaned using media filter (physical and biological) in recirculation system. The parameters such as survival, growth, and water quality were observed. The results of this study were consisted of survival rate and growth. The survival rate  of Giant Freshwater Prawn the highest was 59,76% (A), and the lowest was 44,29% (C), while Nilem fish the highest was 65% (A), and the lowest was 43.56% (C). The results of fish growth consist of absolute length, absolute weight and SGR. Absolute length of Giant Freshwater Prawn the highest was 3.09 cm (A), and the lowest was 2.38 cm (C). Nilem fish the highest was 8.63 cm (A),  and the lowest was 6.28 cm (C). The absolute weight of  Giant Freshwater Prawn the highest was 8.83 g (A), and the lowest was 5.94 g (C). Nilem fish the ighest was 10.02 g (A), and the lowest was 4.49 g (C), SGR of Giant Freshwater Prawn the highest was 1.71% (A), and the lowest was 1.33% (C). Nilem fish the highest was 9.56% (A),and the lowest was 8.31% (C). Based on these data,  A treatment was the best where according to ANOVA and Tukeys test revealed that A treratment showed significantly different (P<0.05) from B and C treatments Key words: Nilem fish, stocking density, polyculture, Giant Freshwater Prawn

Abstract

The purpose of this study was: a) implementation of guidance and counseling at schools, b) Suitability between workload and implementation, c) Barriers encountered by guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of services, d) Changes and progress of students after being given guidanceand counseling services. Thisresearch was descriptive qualitative research. The population of this study were the teachers of guidance and counseling at junior high schools, boarding school, senior high schools and vocational schools in Pekanbaru. This research used random sampling. This research was concluded that counselor or guidance and counseling teachers at the schools had implemented, among others: a) preparing guidance and counseling programs, b) Implementing guidance and counseling programs, c) Carry out evaluations, and follow-up. Implementation of guidance and counseling at schools was not appropriate between workload and implementation. This is reflected in the performance of the guidance and counseling teachers in carrying out 16 hours a week or 66% of the workload of carrying out the guidance and counseling supposed. Lack of time providing basic services, responsive services, specialization services and system support so that occured the implementation of guidance and counseling services at schools. The implementation of guidance and counseling at school helps the students in solving their problems and develops themselves according to their talents and interests. It was a changed and progress obtained by students after being given guidance and counseling services at school.
