Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the satisfaction, and loyalty of consumers to Raja Sereh Bananaand Cavendish Banana products in Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted in June to July 2018.The samples are consumers of Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana that are recruited byaccidentalsampling. The number of consumer respondents are 80 people, divided by 40 respondent of Raja SerehBanana and 40 respondent of Cavendish Banana. This research is conducted in two different locations,namely traditional market (Pasir Gintung Market) and modern market (Gelael Supermarket). The researchdata is analyzed by descriptive analysis, namely Consumer Satisfaction Index Analysis (CSI) and LoyaltyPyramid. The results of this research showed that Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana consumerswere “satisfied” and “loyal”. Consumer satisfaction of Raja Sereh Banana was 74.66 percent and theconsumer satisfaction of Cavendish Banana consumer was 71.09 percent. The level of consumer loyalty wasclassified as a buyer who was committed with a value of 85.00 percent for Raja Sereh Banana and 90.00percent for Cavendish Banana.Key words:bananas, consumer, loyalty, satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine: the decision making process on purchasing liquid yogurt, the consumer's knowledge on liquid yoghurt products, and the consumers’ attitude toward the liquid yoghurt product in Bandar Lampung. This study use survai methodin which number of respondents are 96 people who are recruited by accidental sampling method.  The data is collected using validited and reliabilited questionnaires,and analyzed by qualitative descriptive and Fishbein multiattribute model. The attributes used are price, taste variation, brand, volume, expiration information, packaging condition, nutritional content, advertisement, taste, halal label and ease of getting the product.  The result showed that decision making on purchasing liquid yogurt was done through five stages, the average level of knowledge of liquid yogurt was 93.43%, this was in the good category.  Attitude analysis showed that the attribute most favored and trusted by the consumer was halal labelin which attitude score (Ao) was 1.68Key words:  Consumer attitude, knowledge, liquid yoghurt

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze factors affecting production, analyze the percentage of cassava farming income contribution to household income, and analyze the differences income of sweet cassava and bitter cassava farming. This research was conducted in March to April 2018 in Seputih Banyak, Central Lampung. The to determine production factors, the study used Cobb-Douglas production function. To determine contribution of cassava farming income to household income, the study used production analysis, while to determine income of sweet cassava and bitter cassava farming, the study used Independent Sample T-Test. The number of sample for bitter and sweet cassava were 30 respondents each chosen by non-proportional random sampling. The study indicates that the factors affecting production of bitter cassava are NPK fertilizer, urea fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, and harvest age, while the factors that significantly influence sweet cassava are land area and NPK fertilizer. The contribution of industrial cassava farming income to household income is 75.01%, while sweet cassava income only accounts for 6.95% of total household income. There is a significant difference between the income of sweet cassava farming and bitter cassava farming.Key words: cassava, income, production

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic benefits received by members of KGM, the contribution of cooperation economic benefits on household income of KGM members, and non-economic benefits (level of satisfaction) of the KGM members. This research was conducted in KGM, PT GMP, Central Lampung Regency.  The total samples are 75 members of KGM.  Data analysis method that used is the economic benefits of cooperative analysis, analysis of household income cooperative members, and analysis of the level of satisfaction of member cooperatives using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis. The results showed that the direct economic benefits derived by KGM members each year, was on average of Rp1,689,921.00, while the indirect economic benefits by KGM Members, each year, was on average of Rp9,565,067.00.  Total economic benefits of KGM, contributing to income amounted to14.28% of members. Level of satisfaction of the members of KGM to KGM is 70.8 %, which means that members of the KGM feel satisfied with the performance of the services provided by the employee of KGM. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the exports volume of Lampung Province’s bananas and predict the exports of Lampung Province’s bananas.  This research based on the exports of some kind of banana produced by firm and by the corporation program involving the firm and smallholder farmers.  This study used both descriptive and quantitative analysis methods and data werw obtained from the relevant authorities as secondary data for 5 years, starting from the first quarter of 2015 to the first quarter of 2020.  The data were analyzed by regress time series data using Ordinary Least Square Method (OLS) and Autoregressive Integreted Moving Average (ARIMA).  The results of this study showed that the factors that significantly affect the exports volume of Lampung Province’s bananas are domestic banana production and the average of domestic banana price index.  The trend of banana exports prospect until the end of 2024 decreases. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out the income of pepper farming, household income, level of household welfare, and factors that affect the welfare of pepper farmer households in Abung Barat Sub-District. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that Abung Barat Sub-District is the center of black pepper production. The number of respondents in this research is 63 respondents taken randomly. Data were collected from April to May 2019. The analytical methods used are farming analysis, the analysis of Sajogyo and Subyective welfare levels, and binary logit analysis. The results showed that average income of pepper farming is IDR8,356,590.51/year, average household income is  IDR20,055,616.61/year, based on the criteria of Sajogyo 61.90 percent of the respondent pepper farmer households are included in the sufficient category, and based on the criteria subyektif  that 68.25 percent of pepper farmer households are included in the sufficient category.  The factors that influence the level of household welfare of pepper farmers are the number of family members and income.Key words: farmers income, pepper, welfare

Abstract

Decaffeinated coffee is a coffee that has been processed to decrease the caffeine that contained in coffee. Preference analysis is important to do, it help the producer plane the right marketing strategy to win the competition against brands on the market.  The aim of this research are to identify the consumer preference for decaffeinated coffee purchases from the importance level of each attribute and to identify Ghalkoff's decaffeinated coffee attributes are the most considered in purchasing.  The research questionnaire was distributed to 30 samples of respondents from Bandar Lampung using accidental sampling.  The analytical method used to answer the research is conjoint analysis.  The research showed that consumer preferences for purchasing Ghalkoff’s decaffeinated is refer to coffee with the attributes coffee powder sharp and distinctive aroma that has a soft texture coffe powder with affordable price and easily to find and the attribute most considered to purchase the decaffeinated coffee by consumer is aroma. Key words : attributes, decaffeinated, preference.

Abstract

As many as 98% of Indonesians eat rice so that the demand for rice is very high and causes various preferences and patterns of rice consumption of consumers. This study uses a survey method by conducting direct interviews with 70 households in Bandar Lampung City. Data analysis tool uses conjoint, descriptive quantitative analysis, and multiple linear regressions. The results showed that most of the households consisted of 4-5 people, with an average income of IDR 3,971,429 per month. Household priorities on rice attributes respectively are rice texture, rice price, rice color, and rice aroma. Bandar Lampung City households like rice that is fluffy cooked rice, the price of rice ranges from IDR 9,000 to IDR 9,500, the color of white rice is clean, and the rice does not produce flavorful rice. Most of the households buy random types of rice in traditional markets with a purchase frequency of 1-4 times a month with a size of 10 kg per pack with an average purchase of 23.91 kg/month. Seventy percent of households eat rice 3 times a day and 30% eat rice 2 times a day. Households that only eat rice 2 times/day usually replace rice with substitute foods such as instant noodles, bread, market snacks, and others. The factors affecting household rice demand are instant noodles, fish prices, and the number of household members. Instant noodles are a substitute for rice, while fish, eggs, and Tempeh are complementary food of rice. Key words: preference, consumption pattern, rice demand
