Abstract

Farmers' income levels are generally influenced by many factors. Several factors related to the income level are the factors that come from the society itself, among others, from the socio-economic characteristics of the farmers themselves. Organic rice farming is one of the commodities that have a bright prospect to increase the income of farmers. This can give motivation for farmers to develop organic farming in the hope that harvest will get high yield. The dangers posed by modern agricultural farming systems to health and the environment lead to increased public demand for organic products. The purpose of this research is to (1) This research aims to know and analyze the characteristics of farmers, (2) to analyze the total cost and revenue and income of organic rice, (3) to analyze the efficiency level and BEP (Break Even Point) certified organic paddy farming . Sampling method used in this research is simple random sampling with 40 farmers counted by Slovin formula. The analysis used by: (1) Scale Average analysis for farmer characteristics (2) method of cost analysis and revenue and farming income, and (3) Analysis of farming efficiency using R / C (Return Cost Ratio) analysis method. The location of research is determined by purposive that is Dlingo village, Mojosongo sub-district, Boyolali regency. The results of this study conclude that: (1) Characteristics of organic farmers are men more role than women, age of organic farming business over 50 years, Most farmers in Dlingo village have been living for more than 30 years, the main livelihood farmers is the agricultural sector. (2) Based on the total average total cost for organic farming from certified group on average Rp.20.495.000, - Average revenue of Rp. 35.000.000, -. Income per planting season is Rp. 14505.000, -. The organic certified farmer group earns a R / C ratio of 1.7, indicating that R / C> 1, then the farming with the certified organic system is efficient. Rice farming with certified organic system is advantageous because BEP value of production volume is 2,927 <farmer production, while BEP value is production price 4,099 <selling price at farmer level.

Abstract

Analysis of Certified Organic Rice Farming Income (Case Farmers Group of Pangudi Boga, Dlingo-Mojosongo District of Boyolali). Pangudi Boga group is engaged in the development of organic rice, necessary to study the analysis of certified organic rice farming income, and social aspect. This study conducted to determine social-economic aspect : the amount of income, the R/C ratio, BEP and social activity at the Farmer Group of Pangudi Boga.   Determination respondents income analysis by quota sampling 50% of amount of farmers, and key informants to determine the application of the ICS.  The analysis is the farm income, R/C ratio, BEP, and descriptive analysis . The result showed an average cash reached Rp 18.104.171 and the total income reached Rp 16.123.811 per hectare per cropping season. The value of R /C ratio of the total cost was 2.49. The indicates is the certified organic rice farming viable.    The social aspect indicates that  ICS of Pangudi Boga group  carried inspector on all members of farmer and external oversight by LeSos.  Suggested  to farmers in order to maintain the rice farm is certified organic, farmer groups and ICS.  Training of the farmers also need to be done continuosly so that farmers consistent to maintain the certificate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of differences in organic rice and inorganic rice market chains in the study area and to explain differences in marketing functions carried out by farmers and each organic rice institution with inorganic rice in the study area. The location of the study was carried out by purposive sampling (deliberate), the research sample was taken using descriptive analytical method. The data used are primary data and secondary data in the research area through direct interviews with farmers using questionnaires. This study uses simple calculations with formulas - the formula according to market chain theory. The results of the analysis show that the organic rice market chain in the study area contains two organic rice market chains, namely 1. Organic rice farmers - Collector traders - Large traders - Out of town and an inorganic rice market chain 2. Organic rice farmers - Collector traders - Retail traders - Consumer. The inorganic rice market chain in the study area is inorganic rice farmers - collectors - wholesalers - consumers. Every marketing institution involved in the market chain of organic rice and inorganic rice performs different functions. The total marketing cost of the chain I for organic rice is Rp. 1,675 per kg, the total cost of chain chain II organic rice is Rp. 1,170 per kg and for the total marketing costs of inorganic rice Rp. 7,90 per kg. In channel I organic rice has a total margin of Rp.3,000 per kg, channel II organic rice has a margin of Rp.2,000 per kg and an inorganic rice channel has a margin of Rp.1,200 per kg. Total profit of organic rice channel I Rp. 1,325 per kg, the total profit of organic rice channel II is Rp. 1,330 per kg while the total profit of the inorganic rice channel is Rp. 4,10 per kg. Farmer’s Share on organic rice channel I was 76.92%, organic rice channel II was 80.00% and inorganic rice channel was 86.67%. Marketing channel II organic rice is the most efficient because on channel II retailers do not issue marketing costs but have a farmer’s share value of 80.00% with a marketing margin of Rp.2,000 per kg and a profit of Rp. 1,330 per kg. The organic and inorganic rice market chain is said to be efficient.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui bentuk rantai pemasaran bawang putih, mengetahui margin pemasaran di masing-masing rantai pemasaran bawang putih dan mengetahui efisiensi pemasaran dari masing-masing rantai pemasaran bawang putih di Gapoktan Ngudi Rejeki Kelurahan Kalisoro Kecamatan Tawangmangu. Hasil penelitian, terdapat dua macam saluran pemasaran bawang putih. Total biaya pemasaran saluran I sebesar Rp. 1.259,438/Kg, total keuntungan Rp. 13.740,532/Kg, total margin Rp.14.999,97/Kg, presentase margin pemasaran 26% dan farmer share 73%. Total biaya pemasaran saluran pemasaran II sebesar Rp. 128,571/Kg, total keuntungan Rp. 4.871,439/Kg, total margin Rp. 5.000,01/Kg, presentase margin peasaran 11% dan farmer share 87%. Saluran pemasaran I menunjukan nilai efisiensi pemasaran adalah 2,24 % yang artinya pemasaran pada saluran I tidak efisien karena > 1%, sedangkan Saluran II mempunyai nilai efisiensi 0,29 % yang artinya dikatakan layak karena < 1 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channel’s function, marketing margins and economic efficiency of cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea) in Sumber Makmur farmer groups. The study was conducted in April to May 2018 in the Conto Village, Bulukerto Subdistrict, Wonogiri Regency with a altitude of 750 meters above sea level. This study uses the method of determining the area by purposive sampling, determining the respondents using random sampling and snowball sampling for the marketing channel method.  The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interview recording and questionnaire. The results showed that in the Sumber Makmur farmer group there were three marketing channels, the largest total marketing costs at the marketing channel I (Rp. 845.00 / kg) and the lowest total marketing costs at the marketing channel III (Rp. 152.00 / kg). The biggest total profit on the marketing channel II (Rp. 2,276.30 / kg) and the lowest total profit on the Marketing III channel (Rp. 628.77 / kg). Marketing channel II margin is the largest margin (Rp. 2,698.30 / kg) and the lowest marketing channel margin is in marketing channel III (Rp. 780.77 / kg). Farmer's largest share is in marketing channel III (77.77%) and the lowest share share on marketing channel II (51.04%). The cabbage marketing channel in the most efficient Sumber Makmur farmer group in the Village of Buloerto Subdistrict is in the marketing channel III, from farmers to small traders and then to the final consumers.

Abstract

Perkembangan permintaan akan produk organik banyak disebabkan oleh meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi produk pangan yang rendah residu bahan kimia sebagai bagian dari kecenderungan gaya hidup sehat dan kembali ke alam. Salah satu hasil pertanian yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia adalah beras. Persepsi konsumen tentang produk sangat bervariasi, oleh karenanya pemasar harus memperhatikan kebutuhan dan selera konsumen demi menghadapi persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengethaui tingkat kepentingan konsumen dalam berbelanja beras organik di Surakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan  Maret 2019 di Kota Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan total 30 resoponden. Analisis data menggunakan Prosentase Excel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kesehatan menjadi alasan paling penting bagi konsumen dalam mengkonsumsi beras organik dengan prosenatse sebesar 91%. Rata-rata tingkat kepentingan konsumen dalam berbelanja beras organik tergolong tinggi yaitu 80%. Oleh karena itu penting bagi pedagang atau produsen untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kinerjanya sehingga konsumen memperoleh kepuasan dalam berbelanja beras organik.

Abstract

Milk as one of the livestock products is a source of animal protein which is increasingly needed in improving the quality of life of the community. The objectives of this study are to find out internal and external factors, alternative strategies and strategic priorities that can be applied to the marketing of dairy cows in KUD Musuk, Boyolali Regency. This study uses descriptive basic methods. Determination of the location of the research was carried out purposively in the KUD Musuk Boyolali Regency. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out with interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. The analysis technique used is; (1) SWOT analysis to identify internal factors and external factors (2) SWOT matrix to formulate alternative strategies; and (3) QSPM matrix to determine the prioritization of product marketing strategies. The results of the study stated that there were 3 alternative strategies namely increasing milk production for dairy cows and developing cooperation with IPS, maintaining continuity of production and, increasing the number of employees and encouraging farmers and employees to attend training. From the alternative strategies above, we can prioritize strategies that can be applied to marketing milk cows milk in KUD Musuk, Boyolali Regency based on the QSPM matrix, which is to maintain continuity of production.

Skripsi.Supervisor I Ir. Sutarno, M.Si, Supervisor II Ir. Suswadi, M.Si., Agribusiness Study Program, Bachelor, Tunas Pembangunan University of Surakarta. An organization must have a careful planning and strategy. Strategy is very influential on organizational development. This study aims to determine the internal and external factors that influence the development of Argoayuningtani farmer groups in organic tomato farming. Method research that is used is the analysis of SWOT to identify factors internal and external are then analyzed using matrix IFE, EFE, SWOT, IE, and QSP.The results of the study based on the analysis of the IFE matrix get the main strengths that are according to SOP/ GAP/ GHP and good quality Human Resources of members with a score of 0.268,while the main weakness is having a planting plan but not yet implementing it with a score of 0.118 and obtaining a total score of 2.941 means that the Argoayuningtani farmer group has a strong internal position. Based on the EFE matrix analysis, the main opportunity is the active role of the instructor with a weight score of 0.352 while the main threat is land adjacent to conventional land with a score of 0.252 and a total score of 3.021 means that the external position of the farmer group is above average. In IE matrix analysis Argoayuningtani farmer group is in cell II which means that Argoyuningtani farmer group is in a position of growing and developing. Whereas based on QSP matrix analysis, it is found that the priority of development strategies that can be applied in the Argoayuningtani farmer group is to improve human resource skills to realize the goals with the highest STAS value of 6.20.

Abstract

Organic farming is increasingly being applied to several agricultural commodities, one of which is rice as a rice-producing commodity and as a staple crop of most of Indonesia's population. In addition, the benefits of organic rice for the environment do not damage the environment, do not pollute the environment with synthetic chemicals and increase natural environmental productivity, as well as creating a balanced and sustainable ecosystem. The location of this research was conducted in the Pangudi Bogo farmer group in Dlingo Village, Mojosongo District, Boyolali District. The Pango Bogo group has received certification from the organic seloliman certification body (LESOS) and has consistently met the requirements of the SNI SOP GAP guidelines and the Internal Control System Document (ICS). This research uses descriptive analysis to illustrate the application of organic rice farming SOP-GAP. The influence of internal and external factors on the decision, the application of SOP-GAP and the handling of crop yields was tested using spermant rank correlation analysis. Based on the results of this study. SOP-GAP is a way to cultivate organic rice, which is to plant rice without using chemicals as a supplement or to repel pests and weeds. This SOP_GAP covers the types of maintenance, fertilization, irrigation and pest control activities. Maintenance is generally carried out by farmers by following organic farming instructions. Organic products and one of them is organic rice is a product that is currently of concern to consumers, especially consumers with upper middle economic level. This is because organic products are products that do not contain chemicals which have recently been the subject of discussion that chemicals in food ingredients cause various diseases. For those who have a sufficient economic level, then their attention is focused on health which is currently very expensive. That's why they turned to organic food products.
