Abstract

Cooperatives are expected to be one of several economic actors and act as the main support for the national economy in order to provide the welfare of members and the community. In the last ten years, the Indonesian government has had a “total cooperative reform” program which was translated through the stages of reorientation, rehabilitation and development,"but in the end cooperatives as pillars of teachers are still a lingering dream and the level of competition in the business world is getting higher, to be able to survive and thrive in conditions a company must be able to develop and process various resources owned by the company such as capital, materials and machines to achieve company goals.”The purpose of the following research is to analyze and find solutions to why employee performance declines through the existence of a level of motivation and work discipline that already exists in the rules of cooperative organization. The following research uses a quantitative approach that has a population of all employees of the Gresik Cooperative with a sample of 109 respondents, while the data analysis model uses the SPSS program with the results that (1) Work Discipline has a direct effect on Cooperative Employee Performance; (2) Work Discipline has a direct effect on Work Motivation; (3) Work Motivation has a direct effect on Cooperative Employee Performance.

Abstract

The role of the business world in hospitals is full of challenges in providing services to patients, especially in health services. Hospitals have a burden of demands to be able to absorb the aspirations that develop in the community and also have to make adjustments in services to improve hospital performance, because the competition that occurs in the strict health service business demands that hospitals as service providers are required to always pamper patients. by providing the best service, so that the performance of specialist doctors must be really good in supporting the quality of service, with a transformational leadership style and good work discipline but must be supported by consistent organizational commitment in the hospital, The following research uses a quantitative approach that has a population of all specialist doctors and the sample is 75 respondents called the saturated sample, while the analysis model uses the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis program. The following research results that (1) transformational leadership style has a direct effect on the performance of specialist doctors, although not significantly; (2) transformational leadership style has a direct effect on organizational commitment, although it is not significant; (3) Work discipline has a direct effect on organizational commitment; (4) Work discipline has a direct effect on the performance of specialist doctors; (5) organizational commitment has a direct effect on the performance of specialist doctors, while the results of the indirect effect test show that (6) transformational leadership style can have a direct effect on the performance of specialists even without going through organizational commitment as well (7) work discipline can have a direct effect on the performance of specialist doctors even without going through organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research was conducted in one of the universities (organizations) in Gresik, which, in the university environment, the performance of lecturers is very important in improving the quality of higher education. The problems caused are still found in the performance of lecturers whose achievements are below the standards given by universities, which are suspected of having the culture and commitment of University given to the performance of lecturers that are still less than optimal. This research mean for analyze and find solutions to problems caused by organizational culture and commitment. This study uses a quantitative method, where the respondents are 95 students from the questionnaire sample by the college students, while the data analysis uses the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) methods. This research show that University Culture and Commitment having a direct and significant impact on lecturer performance, but University Culture has an effect but not significantly on Lecturer Performance if through University Commitment. Therefore, policies, policies and organizational culture provided by universities should also pay attention to the interests expected by lecturers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the sociopreneur-based business strategies are implemented by the manager of Raharjo BUMDes in developing a tourist village in the "Strawberry Granary” plantation area, Pandanrejo District, Batu City. As a leading sector, BUMDes consider the resources they have by using sociopreneur strategies and models as alternative solutions in managing tourism businesses. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. The research informants consisted of 6 people, namely the Head of Raharjo BUMDes and administrators, executor of tourism business operations, and BUMDes partners. The results showed that BUMDes had used a sociopreneur-based tourist village management strategy through tourism businesses.  Several strategic steps and innovations had been carried out: 1. Building a network among stakeholders; 2. Building a Tourist Village Icon; 3. Stabilizing the Strawberry trading system; 4. Expanding market access; 5. Marketing through social media; 6. Expansion of tourism service products; 7. Sociopreneur Implementation. In conclusion, the strategy carries out is able to optimize the available resources into a social capital that could be synergized as a solution in developing the Strawberry Barn tourist village.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has become a major challenge for the national fisheries sector in Indonesia. Short and long-term impacts due to the pandemic have the potential to significantly reduce production results from production processes that are not in accordance with the targets requested by the organization, and this results in changes in governance in the organization.” In the last 3 years, during the pandemic, frozen food companies experienced a decline in the performance of their managers since there were changes in existing management governance and also experienced a decrease in motivation through the level of desire to leave the company which was still there and this is supported by recording data regarding the turnover rate for employees. the managers. This study aims to analyze the influence of spiritual intelligence on the performance of managers in frozen food companies, through the work motivation of managers, using quantitative methods with a population of 60 managers in frozen food companies with SmartPLS 3.0 analysis. The results of the study show that the influence of (1) Spiritual Intelligence has an influence on the manager's performance; (2) Management commitment has no effect on manager performance, (3) Spiritual Intelligence has an influence on work motivation; (4) Management commitment has an influence on work motivation; (5) Motivation does not affect the manager's performance; (6) Spiritual Intelligence can affect the performance of managers directly, although without going through the mediation of motivation; so from this it shows that the company should pay attention and continue to carry out moral improvement activities such as spiritual activities before work and increase the provision of moral moral guidance to its managers.

Abstract

The tourism model is a life entity that has great potential in the welfare of its people's lives towards an independent society. The tourism model can be directed to encourage initiatives to utilize the potential of the region through various development sectors. The tourism model is no longer only aimed at encouraging the growth of the number of visits but the quality of visits towards sustainable tourism development. In addition, the tourism model is also expected to become an economic locomotive to strengthen the value chain and tourism business ecosystem based on community strength. The tourism model is expected to become a local force that becomes a magnet for tourist arrivals, so that it can trigger inclusive economic activity. One of the famous tourist attractions and many objects is in Batu City, East Java. This research is a quantitative research using the type of explanatory research which aims to determine the effect of human resources, services on the improvement of tourist villages through social media. The sample used is 60 people as business actors in the tourist village of Bumiaji Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. Statistical analysis used is Path Analysis approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that there is a significant influence of human resources and services on social media in the Tourist Village of Bumiaji Village, Batu City. In addition, there is a significant influence of human resources, services and social media on increasing the tourism village of Bumiaji Village, Batu City. For this reason, a strategy for implementing advances in information and communication technology and the existence of social media is needed so that the tourism model designed is able to also build collaboration between institutions and the community, making the community more creative, innovative, and independent.

Every company certainly wants to achieve maximum performance. The level of performance in the company is a very important benchmark or persona. And the phenomenon that occurs in frozen food companies is a decrease in Manager level performance in carrying out their functions and duties due to changes in behavior, work environment, competencies of Managers in accordance with educational backgrounds and years of service that support their competencies.”"This study aims to analyze the influence of Competence and Intelligence on Manager Performance whether there is a need for Job Satisfaction as a mediation, and this study uses quantitative methods with SmartPLS 3.0 analysis, the population of managers is 60 respondents, and the results of the study show that (1) Competence does not have influence on manager performance; (2) Intelligence has no influence on performance; (3) Competence has no effect on Job Satisfaction; (4) Intelligence has an influence on Job Satisfaction; (5) Job Satisfaction has an influence on performance; (6) Competence can have a direct effect on the performance of managers even without going through job satisfaction, the competencies that have been given by the company are maintained and their human resource development programs are improved, while (7) Intelligence can have a direct effect on the performance of managers but must go through job satisfaction, it is necessary to have trust in managers so that they feel satisfied that their work is appreciated.
