Abstract

Over time, food stalls in the Cengkong Village area reflect the importance of the food sector in the local economy, as well as changes in consumer trends that influence the way food stalls operate and compete. The aim of this research is to find out, analyze and explain how innovation ability influences competitive advantage in food stalls in Cengkong Village. The research design used in this research is descriptive and verification with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were micro, small and medium enterprises in Cengkong Village, Karawang Regency, totaling 120 respondents. Researchers can use samples obtained from a population of 92 respondents. This research analysis uses simple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 tool. Sample calculations are carried out using the Slovin formula. Based on research results, innovation ability (X) has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage (Y). With the results of a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount value of (7.558 > 1.986), the Ha hypothesis is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Kelompok olah pasar doa ibu has been around since 1990, founded and chaired by Mr. Kaning. The existing products are marine products. The market sports group has 10 members and has not experienced any changes since its inception until now. The problems that occurred in the Mother's Prayer Market Processing Group were the management of assistance from the fisheries and maritime department, hampered capital circulation, and human resources experiencing problems. This research aims to find out strategies for the development of small and medium industries in the mother's prayer market group. This research method uses the SWOT analysis method to assist research analysis in determining quadrant positions and alternative strategies to be used. The research results obtained are that the market processing group is in quadrant III position with a difference between IFAS, namely -0.24 and the difference between EFAS, namely 0.64. With these results, there is a big opportunity but it has internal weaknesses, so the alternative used is the WO strategy. To minimize internal weaknesses, strategies such as training and coaching are needed for human resources in the market processing group. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that the market transformation team will gain human capital development and have an impact on the growth of the company they lead.

Abstract

The Women Farmers Group is also a forum for self-development for working age women, especially housewives in Tanjung Village, Banyusari District. The Kenanga Women's Farmers Group (KWT) received assistance and assistance from the UPTD of the Banyusari District Agriculture Service and PT. Pertamina. Assistance from the Banyusari District Agriculture Service. The products produced by KWT Kenanga vary, such as herbal food and herbal drinks. The informants in this research were the chairman of KWT Kenanga, members of KWT Kenanga, and the Tanjung Village Community. Based on the research results, the strengths of KWT Kenanga are greater than its weaknesses, namely the overall strength coefficient value is 2.27 and its weaknesses are 1.67 in IFAS, so KWT Kenanga's opportunities are also greater than its threats. According to EFAS, the overall score is 3.14 for opportunities and 1.24 for threats. Based on the results, the SWOT chart of KWT Kenanga indicates its position in quadrant I, indicating a highly favorable situation. The strategy applied in the first quadrant supports an aggressive growth policy (growth-oriented strategy). The situation at KWT Kenanga reinforces the SO strategy, which leverages internal strengths by exploiting external opportunities.

Abstract

One of the many variables that may affect employee performance is the role of leadership, but there is a discrepancy in the effect of leadership roles on employee performance. Therefore, a mediating variable is needed that links leadership roles and employee performance, namely work motivation. To form a strong and productive team, a leadership role is needed. Thus, the purpose of this study is to determine the significance of the relationship between leadership roles on performance through work motivation at PT Central Motor Wheel Indonesia Karawang Division. This research uses quantitative methodology with descriptive and verification analysis. The analysis method used is SEM Smart Pls. There are 419 workers at PT. central Motor Wheel Karawang Division. The sample of this study was selected by collecting 81 respondents who fit the criteria. The process of collecting research data by distributing questionnaires. The results of the study state that the role of leadership significantly affects work motivation, the role of leadership has no significant effect on performance, work motivation has a significant effect on increasing performance, employee performance is strongly influenced by the role of leadership through motivation as mediation.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze purchasing decisions at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) at the Karawang Galuh Mas branch which can be influenced by price and product quality. Using quantitative methods, through a focus on price and product quality variables. For sampling techniques, this study used purposive sampling, selecting samples based on specific criteria in accordance with research needs. Namely KFC consumers at the Karawang Galuh Mas branch. Data for this study were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 96 respondents, then with a sample selection based on the Lemeshow formula. Data analysis was carried out through multiple regression to understand the relationship between variables thoroughly. While the classical assumption tests used in this study include normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test with the help of the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 27 program. The results of this study indicate that price and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) at the Karawang Galuh Mas branch.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of compensation on level turnover by considering their level of job satisfaction in several ways, such as coffee shops around Hollywood Boulevard and North Cikarang. The research methodology used is a quantitative descriptive approach using a Likert scale and questionnaires to collect data. The population of this study consisted of all baristas who worked at Hollywood Boulevard Cikarang Utara. Sampling was carried out using the saturated sampling technique. The results of the analysis using SmartPls version 3.2.9 showed that job satisfaction (M) has a negative effect of -0.256 on turnover (Y) and is significant with a t value of 2.517 greater than 1.96, Compensation (X) has a positive impact of 0.394 on job satisfaction (M) and is substantial with a t value of 3.505 greater than 1.96, Compensation (X) has an effect negative of -0.470 against turnover (Y) and significant with a t value of 5.752 greater than 1.96, compensation (X) for turnover (Y) through job satisfaction (M) has a positive effect of -0.101 and is significant with a t value of 2.254 which is greater than 1.96.

Abstract

Implementing good work discipline and compliance with Work Instructions (WI) is very necessary in order to avoid or reduce the risk of Not Good (NG) goods. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between discipline and work compliance on the performance of PT employees. Marugo Rubber Indonesia Karawang branch. Using quantitative research methods, the sample for this research is employees of PT. Marugo Rubber Indonesia Karawang branch has 175 employees. Management of the data available in this research uses calculations with the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 27 program. The results in this research are that most employees are disciplined and obedient in carrying out work processes according to Work Instructions (WI), namely 43.3%. The results of the hypothesis test in this study produced 0.001 < 0.05, so partially there is quite a significant relationship between work discipline (X1) and work compliance (X2) on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of job characteristics and work culture on work-life balance among Yoehan Busana Purwasukasi employees. The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive approach. This study's data collection method uses a questionnaire with a Likert measurement scale. The population in this study included 84 employees of Yoehan Busana Purwasukasi. In this study, sampling used Random Sampling with Slovin 5%, resulting in 69 samples for data analysis research—multiple Linear Regression Analysis Technique with a significance level of 0.05. The overall calculation of the analysis used the SPSS version 25 program. The results of the research revealed that (1) Partially Job Characteristics had a significant and positive impact on Work-Life Balance in Yoehan Busana Purwasukasi employees (2) Partially Work Culture had a significant and negative impact on Work-Life Balance in Yoehan Busana Purwasukasi employees (3) Simultaneously Job Characteristics and Work Culture have a significant and positive impact on Work-Life Balance for Yoehan Busana Purwasukasi employees.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of mechanic competency and creativity on competitive advantage in motorbike repair shops in East Cikarang District. The method of research applies a quantitative descriptive approach. The data collection method in this research is the questionnaire and Likert scale. In this study, the population was 50 motorbike repair shop business actors in East Cikarang. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique where all population members became research subjects in data analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques with a significance level of 0.05. Comprehensive analysis calculations using the SPSS version 27 program. The results of the research reveal that (1) partial competence has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage in East Cikarang motorbike repair shop business actors, (2) partial creativity has a significant positive impact on competitive advantage in repair shop business actors motorbikes in East Cikarang District, (3) simultaneously the competency and creativity of mechanics have a significant positive effect on the competitive advantage of motorbike repair shops in East Cikarang District. Motorbike repair business operators must develop the competency and creativity of existing mechanics to increase their competitive advantage.

Abstract

Employee performance assessment serves as a crucial tool in gauging individual effectiveness and contribution, while also providing feedback and development strategies to enhance future performance and productivity. The Karawang Immigration Office has implemented an e-performance appraisal system that takes into account the public satisfaction index. This system incorporates data from public satisfaction surveys, employee performance data, and regulatory data as inputs. The assessment process utilizes a scoring method tailored to the employee's performance indicators. This research aims to explore the e-performance appraisal system at the Karawang Immigration Office from the public satisfaction perspective. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study utilizes three data collection methods: interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that the implementation of the e-performance appraisal system based on the public satisfaction index at the Karawang Immigration Office has been successful. The system encourages improved employee performance and public satisfaction with the Karawang Immigration Office.
