Abstract

This study aims to describe the independence of students' learning during online learning which includes (1) behaving according to their own initiative, independence from others, level of self-discipline, and ability to solve their own problems; (2) the factors behind the formation of independent learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the aim of understanding natural events in the research object whose research results are presented descriptively. The research was conducted at SMA Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi Kab, Cianjur with the research informants being teachers and students of class XI IPS at the school. The data collection techniques through interview techniques and literature study and to test the validity of the research data using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the level of independence of students in online learning of sociology subjects was still low and the factors that formed the independence of learning sociology for class XI students of SMA Cokroaminoto tend to be influenced by external factors, namely school factors and family factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is a corelation between the use of Sociophotography learning methods and students' interest in learning. The research method used is quantitative. Respondents in this study were students of class X Social Sciences SMA Negeri 16 Bekasi City for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 26 students, using purposive sampling technique. The data collection used is a closed questionnaires, observation and documentation. Then the results of the data from the questionnaire were analyzed with Pearson correlation statistics using SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that 1) The use of sociophotography learning methods is in the medium category: 2) Students' interest in learning is in the medium category; 3) The use of Sociophotography learning methods with students' interest in learning has a significant relationship with the strong category. The magnitude of the relationship between the X variable (Use of Sociophotography Learning Methods) with the Y variable (Students' Interest in Learning) is 0.788 or 78.8%. The amount of the contribution of the X variable to the Y variable is 62.1% and the remaining 37.9% is explained by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The Covid-19 phenomenon encourages learning activities to be held boldly to reduce community mobility as one way to reduce the potential for the spread of Covid-19. With the emergence of a new habitus in the world of education, there are new models of learning in the pursuit of learning effectiveness. one of them is the application of the Blended Learning model, which is a combination of two learning models, namely online (in a network) and face-to-face meetings (face to face). This study aimed to determine how the implementation of the Blended Learning model at SMAN 4 Pandeglang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, and observation, interviews, and documentation do the data collection. The results show that the process of implementing blended learning at SMAN 4 Pandeglang starts from planning by planning a schedule, developing strategies and teaching materials, and compiling an evaluation model; the implementation process has two forms, namely 30% Blended Learning by presenting students who have inaccessible access and courageous learning facilities. The second is 50% Blended Learning with 50% bold learning and 50% face-to-face; Blended Learning is also applied in sociology learning. The benefits of implementing blended learning are (1) reducing problems in bold learning, (2) making it easier for teachers to provide direct assessments, (3) motivating students (4) improving student learning outcomes. The evaluation model of blended learning is divided into two, face-to-face evaluation and evaluation through a bold platform.

Abstract

This study aimed to depict the life of female victims of domestic violence. To this end, a qualitative case study was conducted. Data were collected through interviews (curriculum vitae), observation, document interpretation, and survey (result) and analyzed using triangulation. The finding pictured several acts of domestic violence against children committed by their parents. The finding could serve as a reference for counselors to help solve problems with appropriate techniques according to the problem.

Abstract

Upaya pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berkualitas, menjadi program strategis pemerintah di dalam menghadapi tantangan global abad ini. Tantangan global ini mendorong perguruan tinggi di Indonesia untuk mengambil langkah strategis. Melalui Kemenristekdikti meluncurkan kurikulum Merdeka dengan salah satu program unggulannya yaitu Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui sejauh mana dampak dari implementasi program pertukaran mahasiswa merdeka dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan pemerataan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pertukaran mahasiswa merdeka ini berdampak positif terhadap mahasiswa yang mengikuti program tersebut. Mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan dan kebebasan secara bersama-sama melakukan kolaborasi serta transfer ilmu antar mahasiswa program studi dan mahasiswa pertukaran pelajar. Sehingga, dapat dijadikan satu langkah positif dalam mengurangi tingkat disparitas mutu sumber daya manusia pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan mengetahui seberapa besar dampak game online terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi angkatan 2020, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas sultan ageng tirtayasa. siswa yang suka bermain game online menghabiskan waktu untuk bermain game online dalam jangka waktu yang berbeda dalam sehari. Alasan siswa suka bermain game online karena merasa bosan belajar, untuk menghilangkan stress, dan juga untuk mengisi waktu yang kosong. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game dapat memiliki dampak positif dan negatif pada hasil belajar mahasiswa, tergantung pada bagaimana game tersebut dimanfaatkan.

Abstract

Students' interest in the subject of sociology varies, and some of them may be less enthusiastic about the subject, so an approach that caters to individual students' needs is necessary. The aim of this research is to outline the crucial role of teachers in implementing differentiated learning strategies in sociology and its impact on enhancing students' interest in the subject. This study utilizes a qualitative approach using a descriptive methodology, and data is gathered through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research is carried out at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, located in the Banten Province. The research findings reveal several key points: (1) Teachers apply various customized learning strategies, such as grouping students based on their abilities, providing diverse learning resources, and assigning projects that align with students' interests. (2) Teachers act as facilitators, assisting students in identifying their interests, providing guidance, and challenging students according to their individual abilities. (3) The outcome of implementing differentiated learning is that students become more engaged in the learning process because they perceive the subject matter as relevant to their interests and personal experiences. In conclusion, the role of teachers is pivotal in cultivating students' interest in sociology at SMAN 2 Pandeglang through the implementation of tailored learning strategies. Teachers need to function as facilitators who understand students' needs and interests to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Abstract

Guru sangat berperan penting dalam hal meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran terutama dalam hal menumbuhkan motivasi belajar pada siswa, karena guru merupakan tiang utama di sekolah dalam belajar dan pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Peran Guru Dalam Menumbuhkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi di SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data. Subjek atau informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang, Guru Sosiologi SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang, Siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan: (1) Peran Guru Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi Dalam Memotivasi Belajar Siswa di SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang: Guru mampu berhasil dalam memberikan motivasi belajar pada siswa, dengan melakukan pendekatan dengan siswa (Sebagai Motivator), menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik (Sebagai Fasilitator) dan menciptakan aktivitas yang melibatkan siswa didalam kelas (Sebagai Dinamikator). (2) Hambatan dan Solusi Dalam Memotivasi Belajar Siswa: Ada Sebagian siswa yang kurang memperhatikan ketika mengikuti pembelajaran dikelas. Oleh karena itu guru sosiologi di SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang memberikan solusi kepada peserta didiknya dengan cara: Memberikan metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan disenangi oleh peserta didik, dan mampu memberikan ruang pendekatan bagi peserata didik.

Abstract

Kenakalan remaja merupakan salah satu masalah sosial yang cukup serius, dan guru memiliki peran penting dalam upaya mencegah dan mengatasi perilaku kenakalan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana guru berperan dalam mengendalikan perilaku kenakalan remaja di kalangan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kabupaten Lebak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling dan beberapa siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kabupaten Lebak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengendalikan kenakalan remaja. Mereka menggunakan berbagai strategi, seperti pembinaan, pengawasan, pembelajaran yang relevan, komitmen guru, staff, dengan siswa dan komunikasi yang efektif untuk mengatasi perilaku kenakalan siswa. Selain itu, adanya karakteristik kenakalan remaja pada siswa yang relatif kesamaan karakteristik juga faktor-faktor seperti hubungan guru dengan siswa dan dukungan dari pihak sekolah juga memengaruhi efektivitas kontrol sosial guru terhadap kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana guru dapat menjadi agen kontrol sosial yang efektif dalam mencegah dan mengurangi kenakalan remaja di sekolah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peran guru yang lebih aktif dalam mendukung perkembangan sosial dan moral siswa, serta kerja sama yang erat antara guru, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah dalam menghadapi masalah kenakalan remaja.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technological development is very fast, especially in the form of digital media which is widely used by the community, especially in the field of education. Digital media used in the learning process provides benefits to support the achievement of learning outcomes. Proper utilization of digital media and the existence of strategies in the application of appropriate digital media are considered effective in the learning process. At this time, students are considered a generation that includes digital literacy where they are accustomed to using digital media in their daily lives, especially in the school environment. However, there are still many students out there who still cannot fully utilize digital media due to various constraints, especially limitations in access to technology. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the utilization of digital media in the world of education, especially where digital media can facilitate the presentation of material by educators and add insight into knowledge for educators and students.
