Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan problem based learning berbasis self-directed learning oriented assessment terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Sampelpenelitian ini adalahsiswa Kelas VIII A dan VIII B SMP Empu Tantular Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan datanyaadalahtes tertulis denganinstrumen soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi garis singgung lingkaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa di kelas eksperimen yang mempunyai rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mencapai KKM lebih dari 75%. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas eksperimen lebih dari pada rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan problem based learningberbasis self-directed learning oriented assessmentefektif pada pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.Kata kunci: problem based learning; self-directed learning oriented assessment; kemampuan pemecahan masalah. ABSTRACTThis study aims to know the effectivity of problem based learning based self-directed learning oriented assessmentto students’ problem solving ability. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa melalui implementasi model POGIL ditinjau dari gaya kognitif Field Independent(FI)dan Field Dependent(FD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian campuran atau mix method. Subjek kelas penelitiannya adalah kelas XI Pemasaran 1 SMK Negeri 2 Semarang, ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sample. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Hasil tes GEFT digunakan untuk menentukan subjek penelitian berdasarkan gaya kognitif, dipilih 2 siswa bergaya FI dan 2 siswa bergaya FD. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan melakukan 3 tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan program Quest. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut 1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa FI pada tahap memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan perencanaan masalah hingga memeriksa kembali seluruhnya berkategori baik. 2) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa FD pada tahap memahami masalah berkategori cukup, sedangkan tahap merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan penyelesaian masalah hingga memeriksa kembali berkategori kurang. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Gaya Kognitif This study aims to analyze students? mathematical problem solving abilities through the implementation of the POGIL model in term of the Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) cognitive styles. This research is a mixed research or mix method. The subject of the research class was Class XI Marketing 1 SMK Negeri 2 Semarang, determined using purposive sample technique. Data collection is done by tests and interviews. GEFT test results are used to determined research subject based on cognitive style, selected 2 FI style students and 2 FD style students. Qualitative data were analyzed by carrying out 3 stages : data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion while quantitative data analysed using the Quest program. The result of study are as follow 1) The problem solving ability of FI students the stage of understanding of problem, planning a solution, carrying out a problem planning to re-checking all of the categorized as good, 2) The problem solving ability of FD students at the stage understanding the problem is categorized as sufficient, while the stage of planning the solution, carrying out the problem solving up to re-checking the category is deficient. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Pair Check berbasis Etomatematika dan rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menggunakan model konvensional. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam peneitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Dawe Kudus tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel yang diambil adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan uji T dengan sig (0,05) didapatkan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperimen telah mencapai nilai ketuntasan 70 dan Rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas control yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Representasi matematika merupakan suatu hal yang selalu muncul ketika orang mempelajari matematika, dengan demikian representasi matematis perlu mendapat penekanan dan dimunculkan dalam proses pengajaran matematika pada materi statistika disekolah. Bimbingan belajar merupakan sarana yang tepat untuk membantu siswa mengatasi masalahnya dalam belajar dan menjadi lebih berprestasi. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (1) menentukan siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis pada soal uraian statistika dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti les lembaga bimbel, (2) menentukan rata-rata kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel di atas KKM, (3) menetukan faktor apa saja yang membuat kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti les lembaga bimbel berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IPA 1 terdiri dari 36 siswa dan kelas XII IPA 2 terdiri dari 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian data akhir nilai sig kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti les lembaga bimbel adalah 0,136, karena nilai sig lebih dari 0,05 sehingga tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata antara siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti les lembaga bimbel. Rata-rata kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang ikut bimbel di atas KKM. Nilai sig (2-tailed) kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti les lembaga bimbel adalah 0,350, karena nilai sig(2-tailed) lebih dari 0,05 sehingga tingkat keberhasilan siswa mencapai yang diharapkan. Sedangkan nilai sig(2-tailed) kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang tidak mengikuti les lembaga bimbel adalah 0,778, karena nilai sig (2-tailed) lebih dari 0,05 sehingga tingkat keberhasilan siswa mencapai yang diharapkan.Kata kunci: kemampuan representasi matematis, lembaga bimbel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the average mathematical creative thinking ability of students by using Geogebra-assisted Brain-Based Learning strategies more than KKM (70) and to find out the average mathematical creative thinking ability of students using more Brain-Based Learning strategies assisted by Geogebra higher than students' creative mathematical thinking abilities using conventional methods. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample of this study was students of class VIII-A as many as 16 students as the experimental class and class VIII-B as many as 18 students as the control class. The results of this study indicate that students' creative thinking abilities using Geogebra-assisted Brain-Based Learning strategies are more than 70 and there are significant differences between the abilities of students who obtain conventional learning with students who learn with the Geogebra-Aided Brain-Based Learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students’ mathematical understanding in the multi-variable calculus course. The method used in this study is a test. This test will be used to determine students’ mathematical comprehension abilities in the multivariable calculus course. The results of this study concluded that 3 students scored 50-60, 4 students scored 60-70, 6 students scored 70-80. There are several factors that cause student scores to not get perfect scores, namely in the learning process there is a need for an attractive learning model, the need for technology, etc.

Abstract

One of the geometry materials at the high school level is a parabolic. The ability to prove parabolic formulas is needed by students majoring in Mathematics Education who will become mathematics teachers after graduating. Having an understanding of proof of the formula will make learning more meaningful. The purpose of this research is to find out a description of the proof of parabolic formula based on high, medium, and low resilience levels, so that various obstacles can be overcome early. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used resilience questionnaires, test questions to prove the parabola formula, and interviews. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The results showed that (1) there are three indicators in mathematical proof of parabolic mastered by students at high, medium, and low resilience levels, namely drawing the vertex, fixed point, and directrix line, determining the length of the two points, determining the results of the equation squared, (2) determining the coordinates of the vertex, fixed point, and the equations of the directrix mastered by students with a high level of resilience, but not yet mastered by students at moderate and low resilience levels, (3) determining two lines of the same length in the image according to the definition parabolic and determining the results of the multiplication distribution on addition and subtraction have been mastered by students at high and medium resilience levels, but not yet mastered by students at low resilience levels,
