Abstract

Anisakis spp. merupakan endoparasit yang bersifat zoonosis (penyakit pada ikan yang dapat ditularkan ke manusia). Infeksi pada manusia bersifat insidental, berdampak terhadap kesehatan manusia dan menyebabkan beberapa gejala seperti nyeri perut, mual, muntah dan reaksi alergi. Peningkatan produksi perikanan tangkap terutama ikan tuna dan cakalang memerlukan informasi mengenai food safety (keamanan pangan) ikan-ikan tersebut, metode pengolahan, dan orientasi ekspor. Hal inilah menjadi dasar dilakukan penelitian kajian prevalensi parasit Anisakis pada ikan tuna dan cakalang di Selat Makassar guna menunjang keberhasilan dunia perikanan baik dalam bidang penangkapan maupun budidaya tahun 2020 mendatang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis mikrohabitat parasit Anisakis dalam tubuh ikan (usus, hati, otot, dan jantung) pada ikan tuna dan cakalang di Selat Makassar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) Kasiwa Mamuju dan dianalisis di Laboratorium Parasit SKIPM Mamuju-Sulawesi Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa jenis parasit Anisakis spp. yang menginfeksi ikan Cakalang dan ikan Tuna tergolong dalam Anisakis tipe I yang ditandai dengan adanya boring tooth pada bagian ujung anterior dan mucron pada bagian ujung posterior.

Abstract

This research was conducted for one year, which was divided into 4 quarters. The average of each quarter was used as a replication. This study aimed to determine the composition of purse seine catch and the effect of the length of the purse seine on the catch of fishers in the waters of northern Aceh. The sample in this research is purse seine which has a length of 800 m, 900 m, 1000 m, and 1200 m. The composition of the fishermen's catch during the study was skipjack, mackerel, lemuru, and layang. The test results using ANOVA in the treatment of the ring seine length group obtained the value of F-count is 40.275 or significant (0.000). The ANOVA test on replications obtained a value of F-count is 1.623 or a significance value (0.082), meaning that the length of the 1200 meter seine had a significant effect on the fishermen's catch, while the number of replications, namely the observation time during the study year, had no significant effect on the fishermen's catch.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu penangkapan ikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh parameter oseanografi (suhu permukaan Laut dan konsentrasi klorofil-a) yang menggambarkan sifat lingkungan fisik atau dinamika perairan dan sirkulasi air. Salah satu daerah yang berbatasan langsung dengan Selat Makassar adalah kota Mamuju yang merupakan daerah potensial penangkapan ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dinamika kondisi oseanografi (suhu permukaan Laut dan konsentrasi klorofil-a) dengan hasil tangkapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data in-situ merupakan posisi penangkapan, hasil tangkapan, dinamika oseanografi. Data ex-situ menggunakan data citra bulanan SPL, klorofil-a (aqua modis). Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda antara hasil tangkapan dengan parameter oseanografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan korelasi (R2) yang kuat antara SPL,klorofil-a dengan hasil tangkapan yaitu sebesar 65%. Kata kunci : Tongkol, SPL, Klorofil-a, Mamuju, Selat Makassar

Abstract

Paotere is one of the fishery bases in Makassar City which is used by the community for the production, marketing, and processing of marine products and the development of fishing communities. Based on this, the two partner groups “Tenggiri and Milkfish” need to develop fish production. Through the provision of fish nuggets, it is expected to increase children's interest in consuming fish which are known to contain protein and omega 3 which are good for body and brain growth. Therefore, through this PKM program, the proposing team aims to: 1) increase interest in fish consumption and motivation to develop entrepreneurship in partner groups; 2) improve knowledge and skills in processing fish nuggets. Based on these objectives, there are several methods used, among others; 1) Identification of potential internal and external environment; 2) Work plan which includes preparation and implementation of activities, and 3) Training which includes product processing skills. The results obtained in this service have a positive impact on the community, especially the housewife group, that processing techniques through fish diversification can be done easily. This is supported by abundant sources of fish production and the processing techniques used in the form of tools and materials generally available on a household scale. Through this partnership program, products that increase the value of fish can increase nutritional fulfillment and fish consumption in children, as well as the skills of partner groups to improve and be more creative in processing various types of fish products.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh bakteri asam laktat terhadap daya awet dan organoleptik Ikan Bandeng (Chanos chanos), penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 33 hari terhitung mulai 22 juni 2021 sampai 24 juli 2021 di kelurahan mangkoso, kecamatan soppeng riaja, kabupaten Barru. Bahan uji yang digunakan ikan bandeng (chanos chanos) dan Bakteri asam laktat. Alat yang digunakan waring kegunaan untuk penjemuran ikan, pisau/gunting kegunaan untuk menyiangi ikan, keranjang kegunaan menyimpan ikan, kamera kegunaan untuk dokumentasi, timbangan kegunaan untuk menentukan berat ikan, dan gelas ukur kegunaan untuk menentukan dosis Bakteri yang digunakan. Sedangkan Bahan yang digunakan ikan bandeng sebagai bahan uji dan Bakteri asam laktat dan Garam sebagai bahan campuran. Dosis bakteri yang di uji coba, 0 (kontrol). 100 ml, 150 ml, dan 200 ml. Parameter yang diamati kenampakan, rasa, aroma, dan tekstur. Dari hasil uji organoleptik terdapat pengaruh bakteri asam laktat dosis 200ml. Untuk mengetahui data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik dan tabulasi untuk melihat pengaruh perlakuan dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan uji lanjut turkey guna untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara perlakuan, sedangkan alat bantu yang digunakan Spss versi.17.0 for windows, untuk penyajian grafik dan tabulasi data menggunakan microsoft excel 2010.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the internal factors which are the strengths and weaknesses as well as the external factors which are the main opportunities and threats and analyze and determine the appropriate strategies to be applied to empower women in supporting the food security of the communities. households. This research was designed using a survey method to collect data from the research objects, namely women members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT). The data obtained was then analyzed using a SWOT analysis to determine the empowerment model that would be applied in the form of activities aimed at using the yard to support household food security. The results of the identification of internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) factors for the main factor of strength is the existence of good irrigation facilities and the main factor of weakness is the resulting product is not not sustainable. The most favorable opportunity factor is the market demand which continues to increase and the most influential threat factor is the limited availability of organic fertilizers and the ever fluctuating prices. The strategy of empowering women through the use of workcamps to support household food security which is the result of determining the right strategy is carried out from the results of the SWOT analysis based on the SWOT matrix increase and s Strive to use existing strengths, especially the power to have good irrigation facilities so that production can continue. The results of recommendations based on the SWOT matrix optimize the workforce and improve the quality of KWT members by following technological developments and government policies to produce maximum and quality output.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the health of saline tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) on feeding containing synbiotics, namely probiotic bacteria Bacillus subtilis and 1% banana flour prebiotic against pathogenic infections by looking at parameters such as blood picture and phagocytic activity. This study consisted of 4 treatments and three replications, namely artificial feed treatment without the addition of B. subtilis, artificial feed with the addition of B. subtilis 105CFU/mL, artificial feed with the addition of B. subtilis 107CFU/mL, and artificial feed with the addition of B. subtilis 109CFU/mL with the number of samples used as many as 20 tails/treatment. Parameters for observing blood picture (erythrocytes, leukocytes and hematocrit) and phagocytic activity. The number of erythrocytes treated with artificial feed with the addition of B. subtilis 107CFU/mL was 5.50x106cell/mm3, and the lowest was obtained in the treatment with the addition of B. subtilis 105CFU/mL, which was 3.5x106cell/mm3. The highest leukocytes were obtained in the treatment with the addition of bacteria B. subtilis 105CFU/mL, which was 2.71x104cell/mm3. The hematocrit value of saline tilapia was in the same range of 25.83%-56.56%. The results showed that the treatment with the addition of 1% banana flour prebiotic and a dose of 105CFU/mL of probiotic B. subtilis in the feed was able to increase the immune system response of the saline tilapia.

Abstract

Tasiwalie Village is one of the coastal villages located in Suppa districtc which is named Lowita Beach. This beach has been very crowded since 2015, both local and foreign visitors. However, all activities on the beach stopped due to Covid-19 in 2019. PKM activity was carried out to diversify milkfish ice cream as an increase in income for housewives (IRT) in Tasiwalie village, Suppa district. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to IRTs in opening up insight into home industry entrepreneurship through processed milkfish products into milkfish ice cream. Implementation of activities October 29, 2022. The method of implementation includes socialization which aims to provide an overview of the benefits of fish consumption and various ways of processing fishery products. The PKM team itself provided tools and materials for activities by empowering milkfish from ponds in Tasiwalie village itself. Furthermore, we provide training in the form of hands-on practice on how to make milkfish ice cream. As a result of this PKM activity, the IRT and local residents know the benefits of consuming fish and various processed fishery products. During the practice process, it went well and the IRTs easily understood the ingredients and steps in the process of making milkfish ice cream. The practice results are packed with a quantity of 80 cups of ice cream. An IRT can start a business from the IRT itself or submit a proposal for village assistance. This activity can hone the spirit of creativity in entrepreneurship to increase household income. It can be the first step in cultivating a new spirit after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun kelor terhadap pertumbuhan, sintasan dan tingkat pewarnaan pada benih ikan cupang (Betta sp). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama sebulan. Dan pembuatan ekstrak daun kelor dilakukan di Green House Budidaya Perikanan Fakultas Pertanian, peternakan dan perikanan Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Hasil Penelitian diketahui panjang ikan cupang tertinggi dicapai pada perlakuan D yakni 5,36 cm, perlakuan C 5,16 cm, B 4,93 cm, D 4,66 cm. Berdasarkan nilai tingkat sintasan ikan cupang pada tiap perlakuan menunjukkan hasil 100%. Perubahan yang sudah terlihat terdapat pada perlakuan C dan perlakuan D dengan dosis 30 ml dan 45 ml sudah mengalami perubahan warna yang sangat jelas. Dan perubahan warna yang paling lambat terdapat pada perlakuan A yaitu 0 (kontrol) yaitu tanpa ekstrak daun kelor. Terdapat nilai selisih perubahan yang telah terjadi pada lampiran bahwa perlakuan D terlihat lebih besar perubahan peningkatan warnanya, sedangkan pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun kelor dengan dosis 15 ml dan 30 ml terhadap peningkatan warna pada ikan Cupang Betta sp yaitu dengan jumlah 27 dan 29 dan peningkatan warna paling rendah yaitu dengan jumlah 6. Dan perubahan yang paling rendah didapatkan pada perlakuan tanpa penambahan ekstrak daun kelor dalam pakan yaitu pada perlakuan A(kontrol). Pada ikan cupang (Betta sp), warna merah yang paling dapat diperoleh dari ekstrak daun kelor pada pakan. This Study aims to determine the effect of adding Moringa leaf extract on growth, survival and staining level of betta fish (Betta sp). This research was carried out for a month. Moringa leaf extract was made at the Green House of Fisheries Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and fisheries, University of Muhammadiyah Parepare. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four tretments and three replications. The results showed that the highest betta fish length was achieved in treatment D which was 5.36 cm, treatment C 5.16 cm, B 4.93 cm, D 4.66 cm. Based on the survival rate of betta fish in each treatment, the results showed 100%. Changes that have been seen in treatment C and treatment D with a dose of 30 ml and 45 ml have experienced a very clear color change. The slowest color change was found in treatment A, namely 0 (control), ie without Moringa leaf extract. There is a difference in the value of the changes that have occurred in the appendix that treatment D shows a greater change in color increase, while the effect of adding Moringa leaf extract at a dose of 15 ml and 30 ml on an increase in color in Betta fish (Betta sp) is 27 and 29 and an increase in the lowest color is the number of 6. The lowest change was obtained in the treatment without the addition of Moringa leaf extract in the diet in treatment A (control). In betta fish (Betta sp), the most red color can be obtained from Moringa leaf extract in feed.
