Abstract

Ikan asin di Kabupaten Morotai diperjualbelikan di pasar tanpa kemasan. Ikan asain hanya diikat denga tali plastik dan digantug begitu saja. Hal ini dapat memicu pertumbuhan mikroba pada ikan asin, terutama kapang. Kapang kontaminan merupakan salah satu kelompok mikroorganisme yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan mutu bahan makanan dengan menyebabkan kerusakan/pembusukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi kapang kontaminan pada ikan asin yang dijual di Morotai Selatan Pulau Morotai. Isolasi dan identifikasi kapang dilakukan di Laboratorium FPIK, Universitas Pasifik Morotai. Media untuk pertumbuhan kapang berupa media Tauge Ekstrak Agar (TEA). Isolasi kapang dari ikan asin dilakukan dengan metode pengenceran seri dan penanaman secara aerob (dengan teknik sebaran). Kapang yang tumbuh dipisahkan menjadi biakan murni dan dilakukan pengamatan isolat secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 2 isolat kapang yaitu isolat IA.A1 dan isolat IA.C1. Isolat IA.A1 memiliki ciri-ciri seperti kapang Acromonium sp. dan isolat IA.C1 memiliki ciri-ciri seperti kapang Aspergillus niger.

Abstract

AbstrakSerasah mangrove berperan penting dalam kesuburan perairan pesisir. Serasah mangrove yang terdekomposisi akan menghasilkan unsur hara yang diserap oleh tanaman dan digunakan oleh jasad renik di lantai hutan dan sebagian lagi akan terlarut dan terbawa air surut ke perairan sekitarnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara menghitung penyusutan bobot serasah awal yang terdekomposisi kemudian membandingkan bobot serasah yang terdekomposisi tiap bulan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kedalaman tanah yang dapat mempercepat proses dekomposisi serasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedalaman tanah berpengaruh terhadap laju dekomposisi serasah jenis Avecennia lanata,  tiap kedalaman tanah memiliki jenis dan jumlah mikroorganisme yang berbeda-beda, kondisi ini akan dapat berpengaruh terhadp laju dekomposisi serasah dan tingkat kedalaman 10 cm yang paling berpengaruh terhadap laju dekomposisi serasah Avecennia lanata yaitu yaitu sebesar 0,29-0,39 gram/hari. Kata kunci: dekomposisi serasah, Avecennia lanata, Tingkat kedalaman tanah AbstractMangrove litters play important role in coastal water fertility. The decomposed mangrove litters will produce nutrient absorbed by plants and some of them will be used by microorganisms in wood floor and the other will be dissolved and carried by the low tide to the surrounding waters. The research was conducted by calculating the depreciation of the initial weight of the decomposed litters and comparing it to the decomposed litter weight every month. The research aimed to find out the influence of soil depth that could accelerate litters decomposition process. The research result indicated that soil depth influenced the decomposition rate of Avecennia lanata litters. Each soil depth had different type and number of microorganisms. The condition would influence the decomposition rate of the litters. Soil depth of 10 cm was the most influential on the decomposition rate of Avecennia lanata litters, which was 0.29-0.39 gram/day. Keywords: litters decomposition, Avecennia lanata, Soil depth

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran abad 21 dapat terlaksana jika didukung dengan kurikulum yang mengimplementasikan model-model pembelajaran yang menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran abad 21, salah satunya dengan menggunakan kurikulum 2013. Pembelajaran yang baik akan mampu mengantarkan siswa untuk mampu sukses di abad 21, oleh karena itu penerapan keterampilan abad 21 menjadi sangat penting diajarkan pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah penerapan pembelajaran abad 21 pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Kota Kota Ternate untuk siswa semester satu tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Menggunakan metode survei pada penelitian ini, dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi, lembar kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran abad 21 dengan kategori baik, rata-rata persentase sebesar 79%. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat guru biologi dengan menambahkan kegiatan pembelajaran abad 21 dengan kategori baik (85,7%). Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran abad 21 di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate dengan kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 73,31%. Discovery Learning adalah model pembelajaran yang paling banyak dan sering digunakan oleh guru pada materi virus dan bakteri. Berdasarkan analisis secara keseluruhan diperoleh informasi bahwa penerapan pembelajaran abad 21 terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstract: The research is Classroom Action Research which aims to improve the activity and results of student learning through applying the learning model of MURDER. The subject of this research is the grade XI IPA in one of SMA Negeri in Parepare, a total of 34 students. The implementation of this research consists of two cycles. The data was collected in the analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis results are as follows; (1) Student learning activities related to the implementation of the application of the model of learning in the form of MURDER such as students listening to an explanation of the learning materials increased from cycle I by the percentage of 88.2% to 91.1% in cycle II. Students' focus on learning increased from 27.4% to 58.8%. Students read certain material without remembering increased from 61.7% to 45.7%. Students give an oral presentation by repeating the material read increased from 45.7% to 79.4%. If it comes up, error-correcting students increased from 47% to 82.3%. Students elaborating material together couples increased from 50% to 58.8% and transmits the material on student other couples in the Group increased from 41.1% to 61.7%, (2) the results of the study of biology students after the application of the model of learning MURDER increased from cycle I with a percentage of 66.79 became 80.65 on cycle II. And the percentage of students who completed cycle I of 29.41 became 86.69 on cycle II. In brief, experience increased during the learning process after applying the learning model applied to MURDER. Keywords: Activity, Learning Outcomes, MURDER Model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's perception and implementation of the concept of Independent Learning at SMP Country 5 Ternate City. This research is a qualitative type that uses data collection techniques in the form of open questionnaires and literature studies. The research subjects were junior high school teachers and various literature sources regarding Merdeka Learning. The results showed that: (1) respondents had various perceptions about the concept of Merdeka Learning, which can be described as follows: the majority of junior high school teachers understand Merdeka Learning as a policy that only contains the abolition of the National Examination and the concept of learning without being burdened by score achievements, almost half of junior high school teachers understand Merdeka Learning as an educational innovation concept that gives freedom to develop the potential of teachers and students in the teaching and learning process without going through the legal signs of education in Indonesia and a minority of junior high school teachers who do not know about the concept of implementing Merdeka Learning; (2) Merdeka Learning is considered a good policy and needs to be tried to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, they hope that the government can optimize the socialization, piloting and dissemination stages of the implementation of Merdeka Learning.

Abstract

Effective principals will certainly affect teacher performance, so teachers will be more enthusiastic in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as well as their obligations as teachers. This is because the teacher feels that he or she gets attention, security and recognition for his achievements. This study aims to determine the role of the principal on teacher discipline. The aspect studied is the principal's efforts in disciplining teachers at SMK Negeri 3 West Halmahera, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The researcher uses source triangulation to obtain the validity of the data. The results obtained indicate that the principal has tried to discipline teachers at SMK 3 West Halmahera, these efforts include making regulations, teaching habits, giving sanctions punishments for teachers who violate, giving rewards and consistency, but in its implementation and implementation it has not been fully implemented. good

Abstract

Tujuan penilitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII IPS SMP 31 Halmahera Barat pada materi hubungan desa dan kota menggunakan model Reciprocal Learning. Peneliti ini merupakan penilitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dua siklus. Dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII IPS SMP 31 Halmahera Barat yang berjumlah 31 peserta didik. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (action), observasi (observation), dan refleksi (reflection). Adapun metode pengumpulan data yaitu lembar observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model Reciprocal Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dari tiap siklus. Hal ini dapat diketahui bahwa peserta didik yang tuntas pada siklus I yaitu 10 orang dengan persentae 25%. Dan ada juga peserta didik yang tidak tuntas 21 orang dengan persentase 75%. Kemudian mengalami ketuntasan pada siklus II yaitu seluruh peserta didik tuntas dengan persentase 100% maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Reciprocal Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik Kelas VII IPS SMP 31 Halmahera Barat materi pokok hubungan desa dan perkotaan. Kata Kunci: Model Reciprocal Learning, Peserta Didik, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The difference in the amount of salt excretion in mangrove species occurs due to differences in Casparian strips (Gasparini strips) in the root endodermis. Mangrove Avicennia sp has salt-secreting glands. These glands secrete NaCl salts through an active process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the salt content in the roots and leaves of the mangrove secreter Avicennia Sp. in Gotowasi Village, East Halmahera. This research was designed based on the type of case study (case study) and quantitative descriptive using a purposive sampling method and research experiments conducted on independent variables. Root samples were taken at the research location, while the salt content measurement was carried out at the UNKHAIR Biology laboratory using a refractometer. Salt content data were analyzed by means of potential water pressure, namely the sum of potential pressure and osmotic pressure. The results showed that the salt content of roots and leaves of Mangrove secreter Avicennia sp in different water conditions. The results of the Salt Content measurement of Avicennia sp roots at high tide conditions at station I, namely 35‰ (per mile), and station II, namely 25‰. Furthermore, the results of the measurement of salt content in water conditions at low tide at station I the average value is 21‰ and station II is 17‰. The measurement results of salt content in Avicennia sp mangrove leaves at high tide conditions at station I is 15‰, while at station II it is 21‰. Furthermore, the results of measuring the salt content in water conditions at low tide at station I, the average value obtained is 25‰. While at station II it is 30‰.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aims to determine the level of implementation of Science biology lab VIII grade in SMP Negeri 3 Takalar. This sample is a class VIIIA to VIIIB SMP Negeri 3 Takalar taken randomly from each class to achieve the overall sample size of 80 students. Data retrieval is done by using a questionnaire aimed to determine the level of practical implementation, the questionnaire for barriers lab, and the fit between purpose laboratorioum with lab conducted. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentage and average. Any number of questionnaires were given to respondents were scored practical implementation of the unit so that the percentage of the n obtained from the number of students who answered "never executed" the n unit divided by the total sample of students multiplied by 100%.        The result showed an average percentage of 43.74% for lab implementation. The percentage is quite low if the lab work is planned implemented in whole or 100% done. The factors that caused to the low percentage of lab implementation, namely the lack of facilities and infrastructure support, availability of equipment and lab materials, the lack of competence of teachers in guiding students to do lab work, lack of guidance lab implementation that can be used by students to undertake a lab, the allocation of time is not sufficient to carry out lab activities. Compliance levels with the goal of lab implementation of each unit that has been done on the subjects of science biology VIII has an average percentage of 78.30%.Keywords: Biology, Lab Implementation, and Lab Barriers

Abstract

Rhizophora stylosa is a type of mangrove used for various purposes, including as a source of charcoal and firewood. This type of mangrove is also used in traditional medicines for mangosteen, wounds, toothache, lucid, liver, and itching. It is possible because these species contain secondary metabolites (bioactive). This study aimed to identify secondary metabolites from the root extract of Rhizophora stylosa accession from Morotai Island. Root samples of R. stylosa were obtained from Pandanga Village, South Morotai, Morotai Island. Extraction by maceration using methanol. Secondary metabolites are identified qualitatively, including alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and steroids. The yield of the methanol extract of Rhizophora stylosa root was determined to be 26.42%, with a dry paste-like consistency. Alkaloids and saponins were the secondary metabolite compounds identified in the extract.
