Abstract

Fish processed waste is an environmental problem for fish processing business in Kuala Secapah village, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan. This activity is an integration between the handling of fish processing waste into poultry feed and liquid organic fertilizer and efforts to improve nutrition and income of fish processors and marketers. Implementation of activities includes several stages: socialization, training, mentoring and monitoring evaluation. The indicator of the success of the activity can be seen from (1) the high entrepreneurial spirit for the fish processing and marketing group, (2) increased sales turnover through the management of production systems. The long-term goal of this activity is to become a model of eco friendly fish processing business and become a model of community development for related institutions.

Abstract

Pasir Panjang Beach Singkawang is a famous tourist area in West Kalimantan and is one of the corn crops center in Singkawang city. Sweet corn bought as souvenir in the form of fresh vegetables or processed simply into roasted/boiled corn. Corn has not been utilized optimally for various types of food products. To increase the added value of sweet corn for farmers carried out by diversifying corn processing into ice cream, yogurt, and pudding. This activity partner is 35 people member of PKK Group RT 02/06 Kelurahan Sedau, Kecamatan South Singkawang, Singkawang City and Lirang I Farmer Group of Singkawang City. Introduction of technology was done by giving corn processing lectures and the practice of making ice cream, yogurt, and corn pudding. This community service activities can increase the partner's knowledge on corn processing diversification and give the value added of corn. This activity has potensially increased the economic value of corn that will affect the welfare of the community.

Abstract

Desa Bintang Mas merupakan salah satu desa yang mempunyai potensi tumbuhan asam jawa, dimana masyarakatnya belum mengetahui pembuatan sirup asam jawa yang merupakan salah satu minuman kesehatan yang berpeluang ekonomi jika di buat dalam bentuk minuman. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra untuk saat ini adalah kurangnya diversifikasi produk dari buah asam jawa yang banyak terdapat di desa mereka. Selama ini buah asam jawa hanya digunakan untuk memasak dan kelebihan produksi hanya di jual dalam bentuk segar saja. Mitra belum mengetahui khasiat minuman segar asam jawa dan asam jawa bisa dibuat sirup, dan jika dijual dalam bentuk sirup selain dapat meningkatkan harga jual juga bisa meningkatkan sumber pendapatan keluarga jika bisnis sirup asam jawa ini di tekuni. Target luaran yang diharapkan di akhir program adalah masyarakat dapat membuat sirup asam jawa dengan kemasan botol yang tersterilisasi dan label yang menarik. Sirup asam jawa dapat menjadi minuman kesehatan keluarga dan jika dijual dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga mitra.

Abstract

Mangrove forest stores enormous economic potential. Economic activity in the mangrove forest village Dabong was catching mangrove clams, fish, shrimp and mud crab. Cultivation of soft-shelled crabs can be done with simple methods such as single cage and mass cage combained moulting pool to facilitate moulting monitor the change of the crab skin. Advantages of moulting pool are  ease moulting time monitoring and crab moulting secure against attack other animals.Cultivation of soft-shelled crabs need to be developed extensively for broad economic benefits for the sailor. The results indicate that the development of aquaculture activities shelled crabs using mass cage and moulting pool provide greater benefits. Labor productivity with the same can be increased up to 4- fold compared to a single cage aquaculture way. Excellence moulting pool caused by intensive monitoring for skin exchange both day and night.

Abstract

In Selakau and Pemangkat, Sambas district, has the largest shrimp carts, particularly as Togok season, February to May. Everyday, each group of fishermen caught the shrimp for 50 kg to 1 tons. However, they faced some obstacles. In the rainy season, the catch was quickly decompose due to the absence of cool storage so that the shrimp are processed into solid pasta and pack it in a piece of newspaper, leaves or ordinary plastic. As the result, the durability and the quality of products are limited and had poor quality. Thus, the stakeholders, especially the local government be worried about the miss an opportunity to get added value in shrimp processed into a solid paste which could be taken by stakeholders of other regions through the innovation of a package which made the products more attractive with specific brands. This IbM tried to improve the self-sufficient and capable of group of fisherman and their women in solid paste of shrimp processing into powder which had the longer durability to get more added value. IbM was designed with training and practice. The results shown that solid paste of shrimp was processed into powder; polypropylene plastic packaging was used to get safety, durable, and hygienic products; the product had a label with an attractive design; certificate of training; PIRT license; some tool aids, i.e. The cool storage, impulse sealer power pack, vacuum sealer, digital scales, drying oven, hand plastic sealer, sieving, the lighters, seals, labels, cutting board, apron, etc.

Abstract

Jaringan internet SMKN 1 Indralaya Utara menggunakan jaringan radio point to point untuk bisa terhubung ke internet. Skema jaringan radio point to point mengambil akses jaringan internet dari Telkom Speedy yang tower sumber internet (Pemancar) ditegakkan di Kantor Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang mengarah lurus ke SMKN 1 Indralaya Utara (Penerima). Agar dapat memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran pada SMK Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara dan dapat mengontrol kegiatan belajar siswa di laboratorium komputer, maka akan diberikan solusi alternatif untuk membangun layanan pusat data dengan penerapan Private Cloud Computing  menggunakan metode IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). Pengaksesan data terhubung dengan server local yang ada disekolah dimana para pengguna siswa dan guru memiliki access login pada saat menggunakan layanan Cloud Computing dan keamanan sistem menjadi lebih terjaga. Guru dapat memonitoring setiap komputer yang siswa gunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran praktikum. Media penyimpanan Private Cloud Computing yang akan dibangun disesuaikan dengan kebutuhkan Sekolah, dimana menggunakan sistem nextcloud yang merupakan salah aplikasi cloud computing Setelah dilakukan ujicoba implementasi pada jaringan local sistem layanan private cloud computing berbasis nextcloud pada mitra sekolah dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada kendala, untuk login ke sistem pengguna yaitu operator, guru dan siswa dapat mengoperasikan sistem layanan private cloud computing dengan baik, siswa dan guru sangat antusias dalam menggunakan sistem nextcloud dengan melakukan pengaksesan data dan mendapat kemudahan dalam menyimpan data sehingga dapat dilakukan secara terpusat dimana setiap file pengguna guru, siswa dan operator dapat dikelola dengan mudah, cepat dan praktis.

Abstract

Dalegan Village of Gresik District, East Java, is a large Legen / neera and Palmyra fruit producing village. During this time legen siwalan was sold in the form of natural drinks. The problem faced by partners at this time is this Palmyra fruit spoils relatively quick so it doesn’t have high selling value. A technology is needed in the form fermentation to produce Nata de Legen using Acetobacter xylinum. Training method used were in form of lectures, demonstrations, discussions, direct practice, independent tasks, evaluation and marketing trials. The training was conducted in 3 groups consisting of 10 Local Welfare Organization (PKK) members and 5 Youth Organization members. The expected output target at the end of the program is that all participants succeeded in making the starter and Nata de Legen correctly. Participants also managed to whiten and soften raw Nata, which then made into end-products in the form of fruit-flavored Nata de Legen drinks (honeydew, strawberry, orange and cocopandan) and desserts in form of jelly and pudding packed in cup and bulk with the selling price calculated accordingly to Nata de Legen entrepreneurial training.

Abstract

Human security concerns complex activities, one of which is in the trade sector that involves business actors, consumers and commodities. The government seeks measures to safeguard human security. This activity focuses on human security that seeks to be realized through the dissemination of human security to consumer protection from the dangers of food and beverages that have passed the consumption feasibility period (activities in urban neighborhoods in East Pontianak sub-districts), namely consumer protection from excessive food and beverages. Business actors who threaten the human security of consumers by selling food and beverages in excess can be subject to regular reprimand sanctions until they are imprisoned for a minimum of 5 years and a fine of Rp.2 billion.

Abstract

Tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah (TPA) yang dikelola oleh Pemerintah Daerah biasanya akan menjadi tujuan akhir dari perjalanan limbah padat perkotaan. Semua jenis sampah padat, baik yang laku dibeli pengepul atau tidak akan mengalir ke TPA. Keadaan ini mempersulit upaya pengelolaan sampah di TPA. Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan RT 19 RW 01 Talang Kering Kelurahan Pematang Gubernur Kota Bengkulu dengan judul Pengolahan Limbah Plastik Mitra Talang Berkah memandang perlu ada sistem penyangga yang berdampak kepada pengurangan volume limbah padat yang mengalir ke TPA ke depan atau dalam jangka panjang. Yaitu dengan mengembangkan tempat pengelolaan sementara terpadu (TPST) kepada pos pengolahan limbah lingkungan yang dikelola oleh kelompok warga (Mitra) yang berkegiatan berdampak kepada lingkungan. PKM membekali Mitra dengan prosedur (metodologi) mengeluarkan limbah plastik dari dapur keluarga dan dengan prosedur (teknologi) pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi produk. Kegiatan ber-PKM membuat Mitra tidak hanya memiliki keterampilan dasar, melainkan mengembangkan bagaimana mengolah limbah plastik menjadi produk, dan yang lebih penting adalah interaksi mereka dengan warga-warga yang lain dari upaya memenuhi keperluan bahan baku. Mitra melakukan komunikasi dengan kaum ibu melalui pertemuan rutin arisan PKK. Mitra meminta dengan sangat agar para ibu dapat membantu menyediakan bahan baku bagi kegiatan pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi produk yang sesuai dengan ketentuan 3R. Limbah plastik diminta dikemas sudah terpisah dan kering, sehingga plastik dapat langsung diproses, tanpa perlu dipisahkan, dibersihkan, dan dicuci. Dengan begitu, Mitra menjadi tutor sebaya bagi para warga, kaum ibu khususnya, dalam melakukan sosialisasi 3R di lingkungan rukun tetangga (RT).

Abstract

Waste management based on community participation that aims to implement the 4Rp concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Participation) has been implemented through the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) of Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, by the PKW Team from the University of Lampung, in collaboration with Polinela and Government of Way Kanan District through the Environmental Services. This program was performed to manage the agricultural waste independently by the communities to reduce the amount of midden that must be managed at the landfill and it can provide an economic added value. These activities have been carried out in two villages, namely Way Tuba Village – Sub-district of Gunung Labuhan and Campur Asri Village, Sub-district of Baradatu, which have potency of the agricultural waste in Way Kanan District. In general, the results of these activities have increased community participation and knowledge of the paradigm of waste and waste management with the concept of the 4 Rp, procurement of fertilizers/compost independently, as well as being a pioneer of waste management based on active participation from the community. In addition, this program has provided solutions to the community to produce fertilizers/compost independently, either to be used for their own needs or sold to meet fertilizer/compost needs in the surrounding environment.
