Abstract

Productivity is affected by services that will be provided them and influenced in the quality of work life characteristics such as age also years of service on professional care provider themselves. The purpose of the study is conducted at X Hospital to provide empirical evidence in provider influence characteristics and quality of work life (QWL) towards the productivity of professional care providers at hospital X. Here, we used quantitative causality as a research methodology. The professional respondents are a care providers who work in hospital x with survey quantitative. Here, we analyze the data using Structural Equation Modelling with AMOS applications. The results showed the influence of provider characteristics and quality of work life / QWL towards work productivity. The positive effect occurs between the characteristics of the provider with the quality of work life and productivity, but there is a negative influence on the quality of work life on work productivity. Characteristics of the providers at X hospital are dominated by those with high age and long working period. The quality of work life of X hospital is high, with the work productivity of PPA at hospital X showing a moderate value. The findings of this study are the higher age and longer the years of service of professional care providers at X hospital, resulting in a high quality of work life with moderate / normal work productivity

Abstract

Authentic leaders are greatly aware how to think and behave to be considered by others as being aware of themselves and aware of others’ in perspective values. Those who have authentic values have great moral strength are aware of the situation they face, are confident, optimistic, resilient, and have a high moral character. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of authentic leadership and work engagement on innovative work behaviour. This research was conducted at PT. Eka Graphic Bali with a total sample of 96 employees. The collected data were afterwards analyzed using the multiple linear regression. The results of the study revealed that authentic leadership and work engagement are able to improve innovative work behaviour. The findings of this study also indicated that work engagement has a stronger influence than authentic leadership on innovative work behaviour.

Abstract

The initial stage before establishing a B3 medical waste processing plant PT. Kelola Lingkungan Kita (PT. KLK), it’s one of determines the right location. By choosing the right location can make transportation faster and more affordable to several hospitals in regional 1 or the island of Java and can improve company operations more effectively. This company using methods Location Factor Rating (LFR) by selecting the areas of Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi and Indramayu, Thus the calculation is done and the company location is obtained with the highest value of 3.67, at Indramayu. Here, PT. KLK built its factory in Indramayu Regency Industrial Estate. In addition to the industrial area being safe from environmental disturbances, salaries of employees in the Indramayu area are still relatively low compared to other areas. This study aims to determine the exact location of the PT KLK factory. There are several other factors that have a significant influence on determining the location of the PT. KLK, namely Minimum Wage for Employees, Factory Surroundings and Fleet Mobilization. This will have an impact on the effectiveness of the company and can reduce the company's operating costs, so that PT. KLK establishes a factory in the Indramayu Industrial Estate with the aim of being able to avoid the risk of environmental disturbances around the factory such as Community Social Institutions which can hinder operational activities, complaints from local residents because they are afraid that the environment will be polluted by the presence of a waste processing company, the Minimum Wage for Employees in the Indramayu area is classified as cheaper than in Jakarta, Tangerang and Bekasi.

Abstract

Business in the field of hospitality services is indeed the main attraction for investors and entrepreneurs in starting a business. Hospitality is a business company that provides room accommodation for a place to rest. Usually the hospitality services those who come to go on vacation, meetings, or work. Hotel is one of the supporting factors of tourism to increasing a number of hotel populations’ makes hoteliers have to compete to make more value offered to customers from other hotels. It’s not only buildings and services offered also marketing factors also affect the success of the hotel business, including promotion, communication to the community through events and campaigns using digital marketing. Various existing hotels each has advantages, from building infrastructure, hotel functions, hotel location, services, to the theme they have. All of these factors are strengths and uniqueness that distinguishes them from others. However, how to convey this uniqueness to the community is not an easy mission. There is a need for market research to determine existing needs and strategies for market penetration.

Abstract

The competition in the advertising industry today is very tight due to the choice of media in advertise is increasing with their respective advantages. To face this competition, the press advertising cannot rely on sales ordinarily but also a more approach to consumers. In this case, the brand which has an interest over promotion market. Thus, this study aims to determine the effective effect on influence of customer satisfaction with customer loyalty and the performance of marketing organizations over outdoor advertising companies. This research uses quantitative research methods to obtain the result. Here, we distribute a document set of questionnaires to collect data from respondents. The manager of advertising agency has interviewed because they are consultants for brands to carry out promotional strategies in advertising in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this research, we obtain the interviewed respondent around 37 people with positions equivalent to media Manager or Media Director in several advertising agencies. Furthermore, this research is processed using the SmartPLS application to obtain the result. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty and organizational performance for the total effect obtained from organizational performance from the application of customer satisfaction by 34.3% which means significant, because that customer satisfaction must always be considered by the company

Abstract

Observatorium Astronomi Lampung (OAL) merupakan observatorium kedua di Indonesia yang dibangun di Gunung Betung dari hasil konsorsium antara Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung, Institut Teknologi Sumatera, dan Institut Teknologi Bandung. OAL dapat dijadikan sebagai titik baru sebagai laboratorium astronomi di belahan langit ekuator. Pada kesempatan ini akan membahas aspek teknis instrumen yang terdapat di OAL seperti teleskop, analisator, dan detektor. Optimalisasi pemanfaatan instrumen dari hasil simulasi konfigurasi antara teleskop, analisator, dan detektor dengan hasil terbaik jika konfigurasi tersebut antara teleskop 0,7 meter dengan filter Baader UBVRI serta detektor CCD FLI PL16803. Fasilitas instrumen yang dimiliki OAL didedikasikan untuk kegiatan penelitian, pendidikan, dan edukasi pelayanan publik. Dengan kehadiran OAL diharapkan mampu memberikan nilai positif baik untuk masyarakat Lampung maupun kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan terutama astronomi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the results of the implementation of hospital management information system using the HOT-Fit Model approach, so that it can be seen which variables (Human, Organization, Technology) have the most significant influence in improving the health service process in hospitals. The research was conducted in 3 (three) weeks using purposive sampling technique and an explanatory approach with using primary and survey data collection. The respondents were hospital employees who used the hospital information system. The population numbered 248 with a sample of 153. The data analysis was performed using the path analysis method. The results showed that there was simultaneous positive influence of human, organizational and technology variables towards net benefit. In singular, there was a positive influence of human variables on net benefits, organizational variables on net benefits, and technology variables on net benefits. The research findings indicated that human and organizational variables could not mediate technology variables towards the net benefit. Directly, the technology variable affects net benefit higher than the effect of technology on net benefit with human and organization variables as mediation. In depth interviews were also conducted to find out more about the problem and it was found that the human factor consisting of acceptance and knowledge of the hospital information system was the main problem.

Abstract

This research intends to examine macroeconomic factors and microeconomic factors that have affect stock prices, the variables studied are gross domestic product, Return on equity, and earnings per share of stock prices by moderating inflation in earnings per share of stock prices. In this study we analyze effect of gross domestic product, return on equity, and earnings per share, on stock prices and moderate inflation on earnings per share on stock prices, and can provide information and descriptions to investors able to evaluate the fair price of shares in a company based on variables in this research. Purpose sampling data collection techniques with the population used in this research were fifteen consumer goods companies that published financial statements and were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. Testing in this research was carried out with the help of the SPSS22 software program. The results showed that the variable return on equity and earnings per share both had positive and significant effects on stock prices while earnings per share moderated by inflation have a negative and significant effect on stock prices. But the gross domestic product variable is positive and has no significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This paper is discussing about the strategy of a retail store business model that uses a delivery and sale of service eat products while a concept aims to efficient, faster, and customer-oriented practices. The development connection of IT solutions in urban logistics operations, supply chain efficiency, and new business model will be delivered as a Service i.e. service-oriented delivery and evolution business processes with adjust the expectations and customers’ needs in lifestyle development of urban communities at Indonesia. Thus, in this study also concludes that religious issues related to brand and company names have the power to build a retail store business especially minimarket with STP methods

Abstract

In this globalization era, Indonesian entrepreneurs of SME food product need to be more competitive in order to growing some level in the entrepreneurs from other countries. The competitiveness of entrepreneurs is strongly required and emphasized by the government to growth the economy. Therefore, this study is conducted to identify category of global competitiveness of Riau SME special food products entrepreneur in Pekanbaru, Sumatera, Indonesia. This study also examine the differences between global competitiveness and education level of Riau SME special food products entrepreneur in Pekanbaru, Sumatra, Indonesia. The study is quantitative using a questionnaire instrument to 103 entrepreneurs from Riau SME special food products’ entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru. The findings show that the level of global competitiveness of SME entrepreneurs of Riau food products in Pekanbaru is at a moderate level (Min = 3.29, SP = 0.64). This means that the global competitiveness of SME entrepreneurs of Riau food products in Pekanbaru is categorized as neither high nor low. It indicates that Riau SME special food products’ entrepreneur in Pekanbaru have not competitiveness as recommended by the Indonesian government as well as they are not ready to face the increasingly competitive challenges of globalization. Therefore, to improve the level of competitiveness will need to improve the aspects that affect the competitiveness of the ability to explore market opportunities, ICT usage, innovation activities and self-development of entrepreneurs. The result of research also show that there is difference global competitiveness based on education level [F (3, 99) = 145.06, p = 0.00
