Abstract

Accurate, accepted, and fair performance appraisals are critical to the organization. The main issues in the assessment of individual performance are with respect to the accuracy of measurement and fairness of assessment results. Previous research that has been done by some researcher shows the influence of performance appraisal process to justice result. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of antecedent factors of fairness of performance appraisal consisting of participation and perceived system knowledge. The research design using questionnaires was used to collect data in public organizations (N = 75). The test results with multiple regression indicate that participation (two-way communication and involvement) and perceived system knowledge have a significant effect on the fairness of performance appraisal.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of brand awareness on brand attitude, brand image on brand attitude, brand personality on brand attitude, and brand attitude on repurchase intention. Research problem: This research problem is sourced from the existence of research gap of influence of brand awareness on repurchase intention and business phenomenon that happened at brand value of instant noodle of Indomie brand that experienced fluctuation. Findings: The results show that brand awareness influences brand attitude, brand image influences brand attitude, brand personality influences brand attitude, and brand attitude influences repurchase intention. Implications: Based on analysis of full model, obtained the theoretical implication that is when the companies increase repurchase intention, companies need to consider how to improve brand attitude. Brand attitude is influenced by brand awareness, brand image, and brand personality. While, managerial implication in this research is that brand attitude has positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. In increasing repurchase intention, brand awareness plays an important role in improving brand attitude in order to encourage repurchase intention, followed by brand image and brand personality. Originality: The originality of this research is that the relationship between brand awareness and repurchase intention is still a debate among researchers. Therefore, this study attempts to explain the relationship between brand awareness and repurchase intention by adding mediation variable, namely brand attitude that is influenced by brand image and brand personality. Abstract

This research of aim to test and analyze the influence of job characteristic andmotivation to organizational commitment teachers in Country Junior High School 21and Country Junior High School 26 Semarang and also to test and analyze the influenceof job characteristic, organizational commitment and motivation to performance teachers in Country Junior High School 21 and 26 Semarang.Population in this research are teachers in Country Junior High School 21 and26 Semarang counted 150 people. The technique sampling in this research use samplingpurposive with sample criterion, that is teacher in Country Junior High School 21 and26 Semarang which have PNS and work to minimize 5 year hence obtained by samplecounted 118 people. This research represent quantitative research which analyze andprove research hypothesis. Data analysis use multiple linear regression analysis.Pursuant to data analysis can be taken by the following conclusion of job characteristic have an effect on positive to organizational commitment, progressively precisely done by job characteristic is teacher with membership had, hence excelsior alsocommitment to organization. Motivation has an effect on positive to organizationalcommitment, motivation excelsior learn in job, hence excelsior also commitment learnto organization. Work characteristic have an effect on positive to teacher performance,progressively precisely done by job characteristic is teacher with membership had,hence excelsior will also its performance. Motivation have an effect on to performance,teacher motivation excelsior, hence excelsior also its performance. Abstract

This study is a survey research on member in online community id-blackberry. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Brand Community Trust, Brand Community Affect, Quality of Information. Quality of System, Interactivity, Reward For Activities, Brand Community Commitment, Repurchase Intention, Word of Mouth, Constructive Complain. According to research’s result and data analysis which using Strucutral Equation Modelling (SEM) as tool analysis and AMOS 18.0 as software, shown that (1) brand community trust have significant effect to brand community commitment; (2) brand community affect have significant effect to brand community commitment; (3) quality of information have significant effect to brand community commitment, (4) quality of system have significant effect to brand community commitment, (5) interactivity have significant effect to brand community commitment, (6) reward for activities have significant effect to brand community commitment, (7) brand community commitment have significant effect to repurchase intention, (8) brand community commitment have significant effect to word of mouth, (9) brand community commitment have significant effect to constructive complain.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine influence between profitability measured by return on asset (ROA), liquidity measured by current ratio (CR), cash holding, non-debt tax shield, and asset growth on capital structure measured by debt to equity ratio (DER) and the influence on stock return. Methodology: This research was conducted during the period of 2011-2015. This research is quantitative research that used associative studies to determine the relationship or influence between two or more variables. Population in this research was all of consumer goods industries listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of research. This research combines multiple and simple regression analysis technique. In addition, hypothesis testing used coefficient of determination, F-test statistic, and t-test statistic. Findings: The result of this research indicates that profitability (ROA) has positive influence toward capital structure. Liquidity (current ratio) and cash holding have negative influence toward capital structure. Non-debt tax shield and asset growth do not have significant influence toward capital structure. Furthermore, capital structure does not have significant influence toward stock return. Abstract

The study titled "Impact On Financial Ratios Share Price Manufacturing Company of Go Public In Indonesia Stock Exchange". Aiming to know and analyze the influence of leverage ratios, liquidity ratios, profitability ratios of stock prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Population in this research are all manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange since 2004 until 2006, where the sample is taken by the method of purposive sampling. 154 companies selected from 57 companies that made the research sample. This research method Partial Least Square Regression (PLS regression).The results of this study indicate that 1) the leverage ratio on a proxy with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and a significant negative impact on stock prices, 2) liquidity ratio on a proxy with Quick Ratio (QR) do not have real impact on stock prices, 3) ratio of activity which on a proxy with Inventory Activity (IA) and a significant positive impact on stock prices and Sales to Current Assets (SCA) does not have real impact on stock prices, 4) profitability ratio which on a proxy with Return On Equity (ROE) and a significant positive impact on stock prices.The results imply that 1) investors should consider leverage (represented by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the ratio of activity especially Inventory Activity (IA), and profitability ratios in the form of Return On Equity (ROE) in predicting stock prices that will be used to invest , 2) For further research is recommended to use the proxy financial ratios more complete

Abstract

Islam is a religion having complete and balance in its doctrine. Complete doctrine means that Islam provides a complete guidance for all affairs of life and the balance in Islam means that the religion does not only give a guidance to reach the hereafter happiness, but also gives a guidance how to reach the happiness in the world. In order to reach the happiness in the world, Islam orders and guides human beings to conduct efforts in any which way they can to fulfill their living allowance. The efforts are called “muamalah”. There are many kinds of “muamalah”, one of them is called Business. The business should be run based on the rules ordered and blessed by Alloh SWT. Such a business in known as the Syariah Business Management.

Abstract

The study entitled ”The Study of Debt Implications on Performance of Purbalingga Drinking Water Company (PDAM)” aims to identify and analyze the condition of Purbalingga PDAM debt, debt management performance in PDAM Purbalingga, financial performance and operational performance. Data obtained by doing library research and interviews. The data used in the form of secondary data obtained from PDAM Purbalingga. To know and analyze the condition of PDAM debt Purbalingga used descriptive analysis using data tabulation. To know and analyze the performance of debt management used financial ratios Debt to Total Asset Ratio, DER, ROI, ROE and Cost of principal repayment and interest expenses are analyzed using data tabulation. To know the financial and operational performance of PDAM Purbalingga used ratio analysis according to Kep.Mendagri No. 147, tahun 1999. The research concluded that during the study period PDAM Purbalingga short-term debt burden is very large due liabilities to long-term debt maturities. The average number of debt to total assets ratio of 0.5, DER of 1.12, an ROI of 3.37 percent, ROE of 7.05 percent, and based on the analysis of principal and interest expense is known that the average principal repayment and mature flowers are borne PDAM Purbalingga during the study period amounted to USD. 5,215,715,190.81 only a little difference to the overall operational costs are borne by PDAM Purbalingga Rp. 8,101,085,750.91. Assessment of financial and operational performance of PDAM Purbalingga rated "sufficient" while the operational performance is considered "poorly".

Abstract

Angka Kematian Ibu dan Bayi masih menjadi masalah di Indonesia. Demikian pula kondisi di Kabupaten Banyumas. Penataan jejaring rujukan diperlukan untuk efisiensi dan efektifitas rujukan. Program EMAS dari USAID melakukan pendampingan di Kabupaten Banyumas untuk menguatkan pelayanan maternal neonatal, salah satunya dengan membangun sistem rujukan dengan menggunakan sistem informasi dan komunikasi rujukan maternal yang bernama Sijarimas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pengaruh kemudahan dan kemanfaatan penggunaan sistem informasi dan komunikasi rujukan maternal terhadap kinerja rujukan. Penelitian dilakukan pada Puskesmas di Kabupaten Banyumas dengan responden bidan koordinator Puskesmas. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisa yang digunakan untuk menilai adanya pengaruh antara kemudahan dan kemanfaatan terhadap kinerja rujukan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil studi menunjukkan dari 39 responden, sebagian besar menyetujui bahwa sistem informasi dan komunikasi rujukan bermanfaat dan mudah untuk digunakan.  Berdasarkan analisis, terdapat kecenderungan peningkatan nilai kemanfaatan saat nilai kemudahan penggunaan sistem informasi dan komunikasi rujukan meningkat. Dan kinerja rujukan tidak dipengaruhi oleh kemudahan dan kemanfaatan penggunaan sistem informasi dan komunikasi rujukan maternal. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa keterbatasan, seperti sampel penelitian hanya pada bidan koordinator puskesmas, serta belum mencakup seluruh aspek yang mempengaruhi kinerja rujukan.

Abstract

Economic activities and social survey of drinking water services to customers-households in the District of Wonosobo regency Kaliwiro aims to provide information on household characteristics, water resources and usage, the desire to become a customer PDAM and level of ability to pay, as well as socioeconomic households, especially who have not become a customer of PDAM Kabupaten Wonosobo. Based on the results of the analysis Kaliwiro District 120 respondents, aspects of the desire to become a customer of PDAM and the ability to pay, especially regarding the desire to be customerPDAM, the overall 53% or 64 respondents who said "yes", 12% or 14 respondents said "no", and the remaining 35% or 42 respondents said "do not know. Household socio-economic circumstances of respondents is largely complete primary school (84.14%), most respondents worked as cultivators (68.33%), spending over a month less than Rp 700,000 (98.33%), Average average each month can not save Rp 0 (80.83%) and revenue during the first months of below Rp 700,000 (91.66%). Average number of residents of the respondents during the last three months as many as four people. Average water use by a family / respondent which amounted to 120 respondents was 971.74 liters / day / family. This means that in one day a family spends an average of 972 liters of water. Average water usage for 29152.23 liters / month / family. This means that one find in one month the average family spends as much as 29.152 liters of water. Average level of ability to pay within one month intervals are in USD. 30 000 to Rp. 50 000 with an estimated average of Rp. 40 500. Average customer spending levels in the area of non respondents who considered the potential for development of pipeline taps for USD 358 342. Average income level per month in local communities that are considered potential for development of pipeline taps Rp. 398 375.
