PERDIKAN journal focuses on community engagement program and the manuscript is about applied knowledge or science in community to advance theories, research and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement. Community engagement means services to society, applying of knowledge or science and technology based on their field, increasing the capacity of society and community empowerment. The PERDIKAN journal draws on existing issues from those varieties of field. This includes highlighting innovation of community empowerment, and reporting on engaged research, community-based research, action research, and community services, as well as improving the knowledge and practice in the field of purposive community engagement. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. PERDIKAN particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of community services areas as follows:1) Community Services, People/Society, and Local Food; 2) Less Developed Region; 3) Student Community Services; 4) Training for Sustainable Development; 5) Community Empowerment, Social Access possiblity, including Environmental Issues.

Abstract

The development of English as international language requests for bigger requirements in all aspects of life, especially education field. Automatically, teachers are supposed to have English competence in keeping up the students? development. Islamic education teachers (PAI) are suggested to use English in teaching or at least they use English in giving instruction in the classroom. Since this way of teaching is as one of the requirements of an international school. This way is also supporting the school in gaining the people?s trust. The strategy used in empowering the Islamic education teachers in teaching using English is set in a form of community engagement (PKM). The schools chosen are all school under the Asyahidul Kabir institution from the Islamic elementary school, Islamic junior high school, and Islamic senior high school. This engagement is divided into two sessions. First session is for the educating session and the second one is for the practice. For the educating sessions, it is clearly seen that instruction in English help the teacher very much, although the pronunciation still needs to be corrected. While in the practice session, they are still nervous in using some instruction because they have to teach their friends in peer teaching. But overall the sessions ran well. When the facilitator passed these two sessions, she will do some observation on the Islamic education classroom to ensure that they have practiced using English in giving instruction well. The result from the observation show that the weakness of the teacher is in the preparing stage. The teachers still need to pay more attention on the students? need and students? readiness.

Abstract

Reading the Qur'an smoothly and correctly is a necessity and necessity for all Muslim communities in the world. Why not, the Holy Qur'an which is believed by Muslim communities throughout the world can be read only by understanding the rules of recitation, the letter, the character of letters and practicing repeatedly. The group that is the target of community service activities is the female students of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum Sumenep. The target group does not yet have the knowledge and skills to read the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of recitation, the letters of letters and the character of letters. For this reason, in the community service activities, material will be conveyed about the rules of recitation, letters and letters and practice them repeatedly. The repeated training was held at the mosque of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum Sumenep. As a result, the female students of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum in Sumenep finally gained in-depth knowledge about the rules of recitation, letters and letters and could practice it and avoid mistakes in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memaparkan tentang kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan macam-macam teknik evaluasi pembelajaran IPS bagi guru MTs dan MA yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dan memberikan bekal pemahaman mengenai konsep evaluasi dan penilaian kegiatan belajar-mengajar.Permasalahan bahwa guru-guru IPS di Kabupaten Pamekasan, khususnya di MTs Wustha dan MA Al-Ula Kangenan Pamekasan, masih kurang memahami pentingnya peningkatan kualitas evaluasi dan penilaian guru diselesaikan menggunakan pendekatan workshop dengan metode ceramah dengan teknik presentasi materi karya pengembangan profesi dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, sedang masalah kemampuan mengembangkan teknik-teknik evaluasi bagi guru-guru IPS diselesaikan dengan memberikan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat).Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (80%) peserta pengabdian memahami konsep evaluasi, teknik-teknik pembuatan evaluasi pembelajaran dan arti penting peningkatan kualitas pengembangan  profesionalitas guru dalam peningkatan kompetensi edukatif guru.Dari tanggapan dan pertanyaan peserta pengabdian, dalam hal ini peserta pelatihan pengembangan teknik evaluasi baik dalam pelajaran IPS maupun pelajaran lainnya bagi guru IPS maka saran  yang dapat diberikan adalah agar guru dapat mengembangkan kreativitasnya dalam mengembangkan teknik evaluasi pada pelajaran IPS dan pelajaran lainnya. Untuk selanjutnya guru meminta agar  pelatihan  serupa  dapat  dilaksanakan kembali dengan  peserta  (audien)  yang  lebih banyak/luas.

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mengungkap tentang kondisi bahasa daerah dan bagaimana cara melestarikannya. Dalam konteks ini, penulis mengangkat tema tentang pelestarian dan pembinaan bahasa Madura. Di mana bahasa Madura adalah bahasa daerah yang di samping sebagai bahasa nasional juga berfungsi untuk dipakai sebagai bahasa perhubungan intradaerah  oleh penduduk Pulau Madura dan pulau-pulau sekitarnya.Dalam usaha meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Madura yang baik dan benar pada masyarakat Dusun Banlanjang Tlonto Raja Pasean memang membutuhkan waktu, disamping konsep dasar masyarakat belum tahu secara maksimal bagaimana menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar. Namun, kemampuan berbahasanya sudah dikatakan mampu melestarikan dalam konteks komunikasi sehari-hari. Karena bahasa Madura dianggaap sebagai bahasa ibu. Di samping itu, kemampuan berbahasa Madura masih tergolong sedang dalam hal pemahaman menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar. Karena masyarakat secara tata bahasa harus benar-benar tahu di manakah letak penggunaan kosa kata yang baik dalam berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi antar sesamanya.Oleh karena itu, di rasa penting memahami maksim-maksim dan undak-usuk berbahasa yang baik dan benar di kalangan remaja dan di kalangan orang dewasa pada masyarakat yang berada di Dusun Banlanjang tersebut.Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, kemampuan, bahasa Madura

Abstract

Pemahaman guru MI khususnya MI swasta di Pamekasan tentang teori pembelajaran terkini belum banyak terserap, terlebih terkait pemberlakuan kurikulum 2013, yang mendasarkan pada pengelolaan kelas berbasis karakter. Sehingga banyak guru yang masih menggunakan pola lama yakni metode ceramah yang monoton. Adapun yang menjadi fokus pada pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini adalah : bagaimana upaya guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan bagaimana menanamkan karakter pada peserta didiknya. Sehingga pengabdi memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan selama satu minggu untuk melatih guru-guru MI agar terampil dalam mengelola kelas, dan memasukkan nilai-nilai karakter disetiap kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas.Metode yang dikembangkan dalam pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Pengabdian berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat di bidang pendidikan, yang menjadi sasaran pengabdian kami adalah guru-guru MI swasta yang mengajar di MI Bustanul Mubtadiin dan sekitarnya, karena selama ini mereka ( guru MI swasta ) khususnya MI Bustanul Mubtadiin yang berada di daerah proppo pamekasan jarang sekali mengikuti pelatihan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelasKegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan kegiatan yang berorientasi kepada pembangunan kebiasaan pengelolaan dengan tahapan Plan ? do ? check ? action. Berdasarkan temuan pada saat pendampingan, sebagian penanggung jawab RTL merasa belum terbiasa menjalankan terutama pada tahap check ? action, sehingga RTL yang sudah direncanakan (plan), dijalankan tanpa ada pengawalan yang kontinyu. Akibatnya, beberapa kegiatan terkesan dijalankan apa adanya. Sehingga dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini, guru-guru MI bisa lebih terampil dalam mengelola kelas dan menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajarannya. Selain itu guru-guru MI dapat menguasai beberapa strategi pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The Ottoman rasm was the method of writing agreed upon by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad in codifying the Qur'an which was feared lost and destroyed if it was not immediately codified. The Qur'an at that time was written without adding vowel and letter dots in the writing. However, the The companions of prophet MUHAMMAD SAW can read it because of the Arabic fluency of the companions and a high level of memorization. Over time the writing of the Koran began to add vowel and letter dots because generations after the companions found it difficult to read the Koran without punctuation such as vowel and dots on the letter. The al-Qur'an published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia has experienced many improvements in its writing, but there are ways of writing the Ottoman Manuscripts that are still contained in the Qur'an published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. This can cause errors if not explained how to read it. Because of that, community service was carried out about the Ottoman rasm in the Qur'an. The target group for community service activities is the youth group AMOR (Arek Mor Lorong) Lenteng Sumenep. The target group does not yet have the knowledge and skills to read the Ottoman rasm written in the Indonesian Qur'an. Therefore, in this community service activity, material about Ottoman rasm was delivered in the Indonesian Qur'an. As a result, the youth group AMOR (Arek Mor Lorong) Lenteng Sumenep finally gained in-depth knowledge about the Ottoman rasm found in the Indonesian Qur'an.

Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Putro Wali di Ponpes Nurul Ulum Tagrineh Manoan Kecamatan Kokop Kabupaten Bangkalan perlu diberikan penguatan, diantaranya dengan model Lesson Study yang terdiri dari plan, do, dan see. Hasilnya terbukti  dapat memberikan penguatan pembelajaran  diantarnya  para guru antusias dan akan akan menerapkan secara kontinyu pasca pelaksanaan PKM. Model lesson study sebagai salah satu model pengembangan pembelajaran bagi guru yang menarik untuk dilakukan. Di samping sebagai sarana sillaturahim juga membuat pembelajaran semakin menarik disebabkan dipikirkan secara bersama melalui plan (perencanaan) termasuk dalam pembuatan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). Selanjutnya pada tahap do (pelaksanaan) yaitu apa yang sudah direncanakan dilaksanakan oleh guru model yang sudah disepakati saat perencanaan. Sedangkan para guru lain menjadi pengamat sekaligus mencatat hal-hal yang ditemukan. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah see (refleksi) dengan mengevaluasi secara bersama-sama dibawah koordinasi guru model. Pada saat do siswa dalam hal ini si pebelajar di PKBM Putro Wali  menjadi menyenangkan, karena mereka diamati serta dapat merinteraksi dengan para guru yang mungkin belum pernah ditemui saat pembelajaran di PKBM. Si pebelajar juga bersungguh-sungguh sebab banyak guru yang melihat proses pembelajaran di PKBM sehingga juga menjadi motivasi sekaligus bisa disebut shock terapi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan implementasi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen Prodi Tadris Bahasa Indonesia yakni pada  awal Juli 2019 bertempat  di  dusun Banlanjang Tlonto Raja Pasean. Dalam konteks penyuluhan penanaman pendidikan karakter bagi masyarakat tersebut adalah  untuk  perbaikan sosial dan kemajuan peradaban bangsa yang menjunjung tinggi integritas nilai dan kemanusiaan. Harapan dari penyuluhan pendidikan berkarakter adalah tercapainya keseimbangan antara pengetahuan dan moral. Salah satu pendekatan dalam pendidikan berkarakter  ialah dengan pendidikan agama yang diterapkan dalam setiap kehidupan akademis. Jika pengetahuan dan   agama dapat diintegrasikan maka berkembanglah kesempurnaan ilmu berlandaskan moralitas (excellent with morality). ?Ilmu tanpa agama akan buta, agama tanpa ilmu akan lumpuh.? Hasil penyuluhan menunjukan bahwa penanaman pendidikan karakter pada masyarakat Dusun Banlanjang masih kurang maksimal, hal ini masih terkendala faktor keluarga, bahwa masih banyak orang tua yang meninggalkan putra-putrinya karena merantau sebagai TKI di Malaysia dan di Arab Saudi. Sehingga penanaman pendidikan karakter berbasisi kearifan lokal masih belum optimal, akan tetapi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang berupa religius, kerja keras, dan peduli sosial masih eksis diterapkan oleh masyarakat tersebut.Kata Kunci: Peradaban masyarakat, pendidikan karakter, kearifan lokal Abstract: This article is an implementation of community service activities carried out by a team of lecturers in the Indonesian Tadris Study Program in early July 2019 located in the village of Banlanjang Tlonto Raja Pasean. In the context of counseling, the cultivation of character education for the community is for social improvement and advancement of the nation's civilization that upholds the integrity of values and humanity. The hope of character education counseling is to achieve a balance between knowledge and morals. One approach to character education is with religious education which is applied in every academic life. If knowledge and religion can be integrated, the perfection of science based on morality (excellent with morality) develops. "Knowledge without religion will be blind, religion without knowledge will be paralyzed." The results of counseling showed that the cultivation of character education in the people of Dusun Banlanjang is still not optimal, this is still constrained by family factors, that there are still many parents who leave their children because they migrate as migrant workers in Malaysia and in Saudi Arabia. So that the planting of character education based on local wisdom is still not optimal, but the values of local wisdom in the form of religious, hard work, and social care still exist applied by the community.Keywords: Civilization, character education, local wisdom

Abstract

The way to maximize the potential of youth entrepreneurial spirit is through the internet-based entrepreneurship training program "Tips and Tricks for Online Business Success for Millennial Youth in the West Kaduara Village". This program is a community service activity carried out in the form of training, as well as creating sustainable and independent activities to increase entrepreneurial interest for millennial youth in the West Kaduara Village. This program will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2019, which consists of five activities, namely Study Online Shop, Achievement Motivation Training and Succsess Story, understanding of online shop platforms and social media knowledge. The first stage is the online shop study, this activity aims to provide knowledge and capture program targets, after the targets are obtained, the program continues with the provision of training and skills on online-based entrepreneurship which includes platform knowledge and success stories, understanding of the online shop, and knowledge of social media in business management. After the target has skills in developing the business, then the provision of understanding of social media is carried out as a step towards the realization of the target to practice the entrepreneurial spirit that they have learned. The program's success criteria result from the enthusiasm of millennial adolescents in managing the business that has been given to the target, namely increasing the level of target knowledge about the meaning of entrepreneurship, increasing target commitment in implementing entrepreneurship programs, and increasing entrepreneurial desire from the target. Keywords: The Soul of Entrepreneurship; Social Media; Online Shop.

Abstract

This dedication article aims to socialize the miracles of the Qur'an in the scientific field. Based on our observation that the public does not know what scientific content the Qur'an has. The findings from the results of this dedication are people with an educational background who have a good understanding of the delivery of material content, it is different from ordinary people, their impression of this program is good and requires a slow delivery strategy so that the message conveyed can be understood. This activity provides many benefits to the Radio community listeners loyal to Baiturrahman in increasing insight, literacy in understanding the miracles of the Qur'an.
