Abstract

Kiai is one of the most essential elements in a pesantren because Kiai is a founder, pioneer, or forerunner of pesantren. Kiai is a very important component and is a central figure that regulates the continuity of a pesantren. Education in pesantren is supervised and guided directly by a pesantren leader or kiai who has a good example in himself which can be exemplified by students and kiai as well as an emphasis on morals and basics of religious knowledge. So it is clear that kiai has a major role in education in Pesantren. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of kiai in fostering the morals of students at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda 407 Sumberjaya, West Lampung. To achieve this goal, the approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of qualitative descriptive research and data collection techniques using interviews and observations strengthened through documentation. The results showed that Kiai's role in fostering the morals of students included: a) Kiai as a religious figure, b) Kiai as a central figure in Pesantren, c) Kiai as a parent for students, d) Kiai as a salaried teacher, e) kiai as head of the discipline.

Abstract

This article explains the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. The focus of the discussion was the Salafist boarding school. This article aims to find a form of Islamic education that develops in Islamic boarding schools with Salafi ideology (manhaj Salafi). This study uses the literature method. This article concludes that Salafist Islamic boarding schools are a new model of Islamic education in Indonesia today. This pesantren model is different from pesantren in general which has long been developed in Indonesia. The triggering factor for its development is the influence of global Islamic currents, and provides variations in Islamic education patterns, especially at Pesantren institution in Indonesia. The curriculum used at the Assunah Islamic Boarding School both in formal and non-formal education is indicated by radicalism as it is known by the public regarding the Salafist community, but it is more directed towards Salafus Saleh, namely following religious behavior based on the Qur'an, Sunah Rasul and the practice of the life of the previous pious (generation of Friends). The materials taught at the Assunah Islamic Boarding School, it has an impact on the Aqidah and Morals of students, where students or the community who diligently follow an education at the Assunnah Islamic Boarding School have strong aqidah, have polite behavior, tawad'u, have a high social spirit and are sincere.

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity and practicality of teaching materials E-module Dilan Android-based (Didroid) on hot material for elementary school students. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) method with Sugiyono development model. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaire instruments filled by media experts, material experts, as well as student and teacher users. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative analysis to describe the results of the questionnaire assessment. The results showed that the E-module Didroid developed meet the criteria of valid and practical. The results of media validation get a score of 100 so that it is included in the very valid category. The results of the validation of the material get a score of 96.7% on the aspect of Self Instruction, a score of 100% on the aspect of Self Contained, a score of 80% on the aspect of Self Alone, a score of 93.3% on the aspect of self adaptive, and a score of 80% on the aspect of User Friendly so that it enters the category of very valid and valid. The results of the practicality of student users get a score of 90% and teacher users get a score of 100% so that it enters the category of very practical. It can be concluded that the E-module developed Didroid valid, practical, and feasible to use in science learning in Grade V Elementary School. E-module Didroid easy to understand, easy to use, attractive, and can be used as a reference teaching materials that use digital technology.

Abstract

Perubahan paradigma dari government ke governance menekankan pada kerjasama dalam pemerataan dan keseimbangan yang mengarah pada administrasi publik. Partisipasi, supremasi hukum, transparansi, daya tanggap, pembangunan konsensus, kesetaraan, efektivitas dan efisiensi, serta tanggung jawab merupakan tata pemerintahan yang diusulkan pada penelitian ini. Subjek dan objek penelitian ini adalah bagian Umum dan Keuangan Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penyelenggaraan administrasi dalam mendukung terlaksananya good goverance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini di kumpulkan melalui proses observasi dan wawancara terstruktur kepada pegawai terkait. Implikasi teoritis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan administrasi memiliki pengaruh dalam mendukung good governance. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penyelenggaraan administrasi memiliki peran penting dalam hal pelayanan masyarakat, dengan pelayanan yang baik maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa good governance sudah di terapkan pada bagian umum dan keuangan sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi pimpinan organisasi, yaitu dalam mendorong peningkatan kinerja pegawai pada bagian umum dan keuangan melalui penyelenggaraan administrasi yang baik.

Abstract

One of the important resources in management is human resources (HR) or human resources. The importance of human resources needs to be realized by all levels of management, including management, the importance of human resources needs to be realized at all levels of management, including the management of Islamic education. This study uses a literature study research method. The problems outlined include (1) Human resources in educational institutions (2) Problems and challenges of Islamic education and (3) the development of human resources in Islamic educational institutions in responding to the challenges of the times. The author aims to analyze the problems and challenges of human resources in Islamic educational institutions so that they are able to respond to world challenges and continue to exist to accompany the quality of national education.

Abstract

The model for developing Islamic religious education (PAI) materials based on religious moderation to shape the character of the nation's children at the upper secondary level of education is urgently needed because the phenomena of radicalism and intolerance are spreading in the world of education. In this case the role of the teacher in the learning process is needed to deliver the younger generation in shaping the nation's character. This research focuses on the model of developing Islamic religious education material based on religious moderation, the material is designed according to the values of religious moderation with active learning strategies, and is able to shape character . This study uses a qualitative approach and data collection techniques are used by means of: in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, and focus group discussions. Checking the validity of the data through: extending the researcher's presence in the field, triangulation, peer discussions, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The informants for this study were school principals, students, teachers at senior high schools in Kudus Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that religious moderation-based Islamic education material development models are able to shape the character of students effectively and efficiently. The implication of this study is to become a reference for upper secondary level teachers in the process of learning PAI material. In addition, this research also contribute theoretically to the government in the development of religious moderation-based PAI materials.

Abstract

Learning in the technology 4.0 era provides many challenges for teachers. Effective learning does not only require good teaching methods but is also determined by the use of interesting and interactive learning media. One of the media that can increase interest in student learning is gamification media, namely the addition of game elements in learning to increase motivation, involvement and interaction of teachers and students in learning. This method can also increase learning motivation by giving prizes or badges to students with the highest encouragement in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine student motivation through classpoint gamification media at SMKN 7 Surakarta in the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through Participatory Action Research (PAR) by means of observation or observation of teaching and learning activities and interviews with students. The results showed that the use of classpoint gamification media increased learning interest and student involvement in learning from the usability, cognitive and psychomotor aspects of students. This is because classpoint gamification media has features that support interactive learning activities and can motivate students to get the best results in games or quizzes.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis posisi wanita dalam Islam, kesetaraan wanita dan laki-laki dalam menuntut ilmu dan pandangan pendidikan wanita dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan library research (penelitian pustaka), yaitu dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan literatur (kepustakaan) dari penelitian sebelumnya, dan menggunakan teknik Analisis Isi (Content Analysis) dan tekhnik Analisis Komparatif Konstan (Constan Comparative Analysis). Analisis isi bersifat pembahasan yang mendalam terhadap isi suatu informasi tertulis atau tercetak dalam media massa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pandangan Filsafat Pendidikan Islam tidak pernah melarang wanita untuk belajar dan memiliki pendidikan. Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam juga sudah menekankan bahwa belajar itu wajib atas setiap muslim tanpa membedakan pria maupun wanita. Dengan penekanan ini, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam membuka semua jalan pengetahuan untuk pria dan wanita.

Abstract

The phenomenon of integrating Islamic boarding schools with universities is an exciting phenomenon to observe. This article discusses the curriculum development design for Islamic boarding schools and tertiary institutions in shaping female students' spiritual and intellectual intelligence. In this study, the authors used descriptive-critical research emphasizing the power of analysis of existing sources and data by relying on existing theories and concepts to be interpreted based on writings that lead to discussion. Based on the results of the study of primary sources, it can be concluded that student boarding schools create or design their curriculum based on curriculum management theory, starting from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling/ evaluating. This is seen as necessary so that student boarding schools can maximally give their role to students in fostering their mental, spiritual and intellectual development.
