Abstract

Learning mathematics is usually very feared by students because students think that mathematics is difficult. Therefore, teachers must be creative and innovative in teaching mathematics so that students enjoy the mathematics subject. If students already enjoy mathematics subjects, students will automatically be enthusiastic in the learning process which has an impact on satisfying student learning outcomes. Some of these conditions were also found at the State Elementary School of Mekarjaya, especially in terms of scale. To overcome this, teachers must use a learning model that is fun and follows the characteristics of the material to be taught, one of which is the jigsaw learning model in learning mathematics on comparison and scale material. This research is in the form of classroom action research which aims to improve learning conditions. The research subjects are fifth-grade students in the even semester of 2020/2021. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at State Elementary School of Mekarjaya, Takokak District, Cianjur Regency from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. In the pre-cycle, only 5 people completed 20 students, or 25% who reached the standard minimum score. In cycle 1 there was an increase of 13 students who completed from 20 students or 65% who reached the standard minimum score and in cycle 2 it increased again to 20 students from 20 students who completed or 100% who reached the standard minimum score. This shows that the jigsaw model is effective in improving students' ability to master comparison and scale material.

Abstract

Learning materials in the learning process are very important. Learning materials commonly used in the material of the elements of characterization, especially grade IV elementary school using learning materials obtained from teacher and student books and the internet. This characterization is contained in indonesian material class IV Elementary School, theme 4 sub-theme 1 and 2, In the material there is an element of characterization in the form of character protagonist and antagonist as well as main and additional characters. To add insight into the elements of teacher characterization can use novels. One of the novels used is the novel Edensor by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this study is to analyze the novel as an alternative learning material for the characterization element of the story. In this research process researchers use qualitative research approaches, with content analysis methods and data collection techniques through documentation. The results of the research obtained are the characterization element in the form of additional main characters, as well as the character of the characterization of a number of 44 pieces that show the character of the character. 37 pieces that show the protagonist. and 7 pieces that show the character of the antagonistic character. The characterization of the novel is presented through expository techniques and dramatic techniques. From the results of the analysis, researchers will develop learning materials in the form of handouts and student worksheets

Abstract

One of the cognitive learning that is important to develop is the ability to measure and early age is a potential time to develop it. The formulation of the problem in this study, namely how to improve the ability to recognize the concept of measuring the weight of objects through the medium of scales in Group B children of ABA Pengkol Kindergarten, Tanon District, Sragen Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to recognize the concept of measuring the weight of objects through the media of scales in group B children at ABA Pengkol Kindergarten, Tanon District, Sragen Regency. The subjects of this study were group B students of ABA Pengkol Kindergarten, Sragen Regency, with a total of 16 students consisting of 8 male students and 8 female students. In this classroom action research, the data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. According to the data obtained through pre-cycle observations, cycle I and cycle II, the increased ability was evidenced by the percentage of measurement activities showing an increase from before and after the action. Media scales can help understand the concept and practice of direct measurement for early childhood. So it is proven that learning to recognize the weight of objects with the media of scales can improve the ability of group B children in ABA Pengkol Kindergarten

Abstract

Fingerprint creation is a drawing technique using fingerprints, this activity is very popular for young children, because this activity is like playing activities, but has meaning for children. The formulation of the problem in this research is "How to Increase the Ability to Taste with Finger Media in Group B Children of Pertiwi Gading Kindergarten, Tanon District, Sragen Regency? This study aims to determine the Improved Tasting Ability with Finger Media in Group B Children of Pertiwi Gading Kindergarten, Tanon District, Sragen Regency. The research subjects were taken from group B students of TK Pertiwi Gading, Tanon District, Sragen Regency, with a total of 31 children consisting of 15 boys and 16 girls.Datacollection methods used observation and documentation methods. Based on statistical calculations, it was obtained that pre-action in 1 class the average percentage of children was 41.29% with the Starting Development (MB) assessment criteria, and the first cycle increased by 67.31% with the Development According toExpectations (BSH) criteria. Tasting activities increased but the results obtained were not optimal because they had not reached the mutually agreed success indicator of 80%. For this reason, researchers and collaborating partners held a follow-up cycle, namely cycle II, the results achieved in research in cycle II, the average percentage of children in 1 class was 84.52%. With the Very Well Developed (BSB) assessment criteria. the average percentage obtained by children in 1 class has increased, for this reason, researchers have succeeded and achieved mutually agreed indicators and it is proven that finger media can increase the ability to taste with group B children TK Pertiwi Gading Tanon District Sragen Regency

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has a close relationship with everyday human life. The meaning of the existence of mathematics is still rarely felt directly by students so that mathematics becomes abstract and tends to be full of meaningless numbers. In fact, in fact mathematics has many benefits in everyday life and can be more easily reasoned and understood and memorable if we have the sincerity to understand. Culture-based learning is a strategy for creating learning environments and designing learning experiences that integrate culture as part of the learning process. Through ethnomathematics, learning will be more memorable because it introduces local traditions and cultures that are still recognized and practiced by certain community groups. The type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive qualitative. The study was conducted to explore information about ethnomathematics based on Lampung culture using sticks to increase the cultural love of elementary school teacher education students. Technique The instrument used in this study is a non-test technique. The results showed that ethnomathematical learning can increase student interest by a percentage of 92% and can be used as an alternative to help students learn multiplication material in mathematics and can increase students' sense of cultural love.

Abstract

Stylistics is one of the most important elements in shaping poetry. This study intends to analyze the language style in the Anthology of Folklore of the Special Region of Yogyakarta as an alternative to making teaching materials for writing poetry in grade IV elementary school. This research includes qualitative research using the content analysis method because this research analyzes the language style in the folklore book, the analysis is carried out by reducing the data, describing the data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, 112 sentences were found that used the language style in this book, including the comparative language style totaling 35 data, the conflicting language style totaling 43 data, the linking language style totaling 28 data, the linking language style totaling 6 data. The language style contained in the storybook except for the metaphorical language style can be used as learning material for writing poetry in grade IV elementary school. Learning materials are made in the form of handouts containing material on writing poems, language styles for teacher's handles and student worksheets containing language style exercises and writing poems. This can be a reference for teachers to utilize authentic works in learning Indonesian about poem writing

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the management of character education at the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah to realize the generation of Akhlakul Karimah. The generation of Akhlakul Karimah is one of the major goals in the world of education, but the development of technologies that are increasingly advanced explosion with the morality of life increasingly extraordinary degradation. Critical morality is currently important for the alternative solution immediately. Management of character education is one of the effective ways to be implemented. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is done using interviews, observation, and documentation. Triangulation methods and source triangulation are carried out to ensure the validity of the data. Based on the results of the study found; 1) Management of character education can realize the morality of students MINU Kraksaan Probolinggo; 2) Excellent value and morality through the existence, coaching and integration; 3) Modeling morality values are carried out with examples of examples; 4) Develop a literacy value with 4C skills implementation; 5) Develop Islamic-based value education programs.

Abstract

Reading is one of the most important skills in the language. Before someone has writing skills, they should have reading skills first. However, let alone being skilled, growing interest in reading itself is still quite difficult.   Literacy culture cannot be found in most schools in Indonesia, including in SDN 5 Keresek. The application of the SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) method in several studies can overcome the problem of reading.  Therefore, this study aims to find out whether the SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) method can increase the reading interest of students of grade IV SDN 5 Keresek. The research approach that is used is qualitative with case study methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) method effectively increases the reading interest of students of grade IV SDN 5 Keresek in Garut Regency. This increase is seen gradually in the observation of the first cycle and the second cycle.  The increase in reading interest in each of these cycles can occur because sustained silent reading helps encourage students to focus on following reading activities with books that have been handpicked by them. With this method, students are not easily distracted because everyone reads their book quietly and calmly.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) describe the interest in entrepreneurship in the field of clothing, (2) to find out the description of the student achievement in entrepreneurship, and (3) to know the relationship between interest in entrepreneurship in the field of clothing and entrepreneurial learning achievements in students of the State of Vocational School 1 Wadaslintang, the Department of Fashion, Class XII for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This type of research was a quantitative correlational type. To collect data, the authors used a questionnaire method and documentation. In this study, the documentation method was used as a complementary method to obtain data on the number of students at the Department of Fashion, Class XII, for the 2021/2022 academic year and odd semester report cards. The techniques used to analyze the data include descriptive analysis and correlational analysis. The results showed that students of the Fashion Design Department of Class XII in the odd semester were interested in entrepreneurship in the high category with a frequency of 50%. The entrepreneurial learning achievements were included in the moderate category with a relative frequency of 68.18%. The entrepreneurial learning achievements of most students majoring in Class Fashion XII Odd Semester were in the sufficient category. The significance value of the correlation that robtained value was higher than rtable, which is 0,576 0,244. It is proven that there was a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial interest and entrepreneurship learning achievement of Class XII students of the Department of Fashion Design Odd Semester at the State of Vocational School 1 Wadaslintang.

Abstract

The ability of students to take part in learning can be seen from their learning outcomes.  Students’ learning outcomes can be influenced by internal and external factors. One of the external factors that affect learning outcomes is parenting and learning discipline. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between parenting style and learning discipline with the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. The type of research used was quantitative research with ex-post facto method with correlational design. The population in this study amounted to 171 students, with a total sample of 66 students determined by the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data in this study were collected through documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research data were then analyzed using product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between parenting and learning discipline with learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.641 which was at the "high" level. It can be concluded that parenting style and learning discipline have a close relationship with learning outcomes in elementary schools.
