Abstract. This research is a descriptive type of research with a dual method approach, namely quantitative and qualitative, this study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of Whatsapp in learning German. The data from this study were students' perceptions of the use of Whatsapp in learning German which were obtained from students in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Sources of data in this study were 70 students of SMA Negeri 5 Bulukumba. Based on the results of data analysis from the questionnaire, it showed that as many as 8 (11%) students who had the perception of strongly agreeing, 41 (61%) students who had the perception of agreeing, 20 (27%) students with the perception that it could not be determined, 1 (1%) students with the perception of disagreeing and there were no students who had the perception of strongly disagreeing, and the interview data conducted explained the various features possessed by Whatsapp that can support online learning such as voice messages, video calls and documents. It can be concluded that the perception of students of SMA Negeri 5 Bulukumba on the use of the Whatsapp application in learning German is agree. Keywords: Student Perception, Whatsapp, Learning

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik sosial yang berupa wujud konflik sosial, penyebab, dan penyelesaian konflik sosial dalam novel Rumpa’na Bone Karya Andi Makmur Makka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik dokumentasi, baca markah, dan catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman melalui langkah-langkah yaitu tahap identifikasi, tahap klasifikasi, tahap penganalisaan data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat tiga wujud konflik sosial yaitu bersitegang, pertempuran, penyerangan. Penyebab terjadinya yaitu adanya perbedaan kebudayaan, yaitu utusan Belanda yang membawa surat perjanjian, Kerajaan Bone menjawab surat ancaman Belanda, Arung Pitue menolak penghinaan, penjaga pantai Bajoe menyelamatkan anggota pasukan yang terluka, pendaratan dinyatakan gagal. Adanya perbedaan kepentingan atau tujuan, yaitu sekoci Belanda menuju pantai, Pasukan inlander diturunkan, pengejaran Arumpone ke Bone Utara. Adanya perubahan sosial yang relatif cepat, yaitu Arumpone menolak ultimatum, pasukan eskader Belanda tiba di pelabuhan Bajoe, pasukan Belanda melancarkan strategi baru, perintah Petta Ponggawae, adanya pergerakan pasukan Belanda, Petta Sele’ terjatuh, dihadang dua orang pengamuk, Pasukan Belanda menuju desa Compong. Penyelesaian konflik sosial yaitu arbitrasi, yaitu mengirim kembali surat balasan, Arumpone memberikan titah, Arumpone menenangkan diri, Petta Sele memerintahkan penjaga pantai mundur, C.A. Van Loenen memerintahkan serangan dibatalkan. Détente, yaitu pendaratan Belanda gagal, Petta Ponggawae memberi perintah mundur, Kolonel C.A. Van Loenen tidak menggubris laporan dari Bone Selatan. Paksaan, yaitu penyerangan segera dilakukan, tembakan di hentikan, Petta Ponggawae memberi perintah mundur, Bajoe terpaksa ditinggalkan, pasukan musuh berlari mundur, pasukan musuh telah tersungkur, kedua pengamuk dibunuh, Panggulu Loppona Joe’ tertawan. Kata Kunci: Konflik Sosial, Novel, Sosiologi Sastra.

Abstract. The source of data in this research is poetry from the poetry anthology "Ayat-ayat Api" by Sapardi Djoko Damono which focuses on "Line, Net, Cold Air, He Never and at the Door". The author focuses on the work of Sapardi Djoko Damono because of the background of his works which are close to god and death which are framed by other signs, as well as his works that are popular and many people recognize him. The five poems in the poetry anthology “Ayat-ayat Api” by Sapardi Djoko Damono include: Lines, Nets, Cold Air, He Never and At The Door. These poems are used as research material in this study. The five poems were chosen as research material because there are many hidden signs, there are diction games that raise a lot of questions. This is very helpful for the author in analyzing because it is the main focus of the author who examines the indirectness of expressions based on M. Riffaterre's semiotic theory. Abstract. Fairy tale opposition in the Indonesian fairy tales youtube channel: Julia Kristeva's intertextual study. This study aims to describe the opposition that occurs in four fairy tales contained in the Indonesian Fairy Tales Youtube Channel using Julia Kristeva's intertextual study. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study are in the form of quotations from fairy tales that show the opposition that occurs between individuals and groups. The results of this study are in the form of something opposite that cannot be exchanged and absolute between two competitive groups, never get along, never complement each other and can never be reconciled. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis narasi bahasa Makassar berbasis lingkungan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian yaitu keterampilan menulis narasi bahasa makassar berbasis lingkungan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik ter tertulis. Tekni analisis data yaitu: (1) membuat daftar skor mentah, (2) membuat distribusi frekuensi dan skor rata-rata, (3) membuat tabel klasifikasi keterampilan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa belum mencapai standar pencapaian yang direncanakan 75% dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (75 KKM) berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 22 siswa mampu memperoleh nilai ≥75. Berdasarkan kriteria penilaian tingkat keterampilan siswa secara keseluruhan berada pada taraf cukup. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian ternyata siswa yang memperoleh dengan nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) terdapat 22 orang dengan persentase 70% dan yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM terdapat 15 orang siswa dengan persentase 30%.Keyword: Keterampilan, Menulis, Narasi, Siswa.

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the mastery of German vocabulary in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Makassar through the Duolingo application. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Makassar, totaling 36 people. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data was obtained through observation, while quantitative data was obtained through vocabulary improvement tests in cycle I and cycle II. The results of the German vocabulary mastery test showed that the average score in the first cycle was 78.80% and the second cycle was 89.61%. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Duolingo application can increase the German vocabulary of class X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. Abstract. Indonesia has just been excluded from the group of developing countries in 2021, while Germany has long been a developed country and continues to develop rapidly so it is hoped that it will serve as an example in terms of its work culture. This research is based on the study and analysis of the text. Heinrich Böll as an influential writer of his time, precisely in 1963, created the Anecdote zur Senkung der Arbeitsmoral which reflected the society of his time. Understand socialism and capitalism-liberalism that reflects the working culture habits of East Germany and West Germany. West German capitalism liberalism is to build relations with foreign companies and mutually beneficial, strategic and disciplined in every work but only concerned with himself. Meanwhile, East German socialism upholds the mercy of others, resulting in a slump in the economy. The social function of this literary work contains entertaining meaning and satire. The anecdote zur Senkung der Arbeitsmoral can be used as a material for discussion on learning German in high school (SMA) and an insight to the reader about German work culture. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dialog-dialog sosial yang hadir dalam naskah drama Kulawarga menggunakan perspektif dialogis Bakhtin. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analisis data kualitatif dengan penyajian data secara deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) karnivalisasi dan komposisi; 2) tokoh dan posisi pengarang; dan 3) representasi gagasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, secara perspektif terhadap relasi dengan komponen Naskah drama Kulawarga, tidak menjamin dirinya bahwa sepenuhnya polifonik dan dialogis, tetapi melihat secara keseluruhan dari bagian-bagian tertentu menggunakan dialogis Bakhtin, bahwa dialog sosial yang terjadi adalah adanya pengaruh lingkungan pengarang berupa tempat tinggalnya dan latar belakang pengetahuannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan kepada Mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, agar menerapkan dan mengembangkan kajian teori Dialogisme Mikhail Bakhtin. Bagi pembaca, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan bacaan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan dalam memperluas wawasan terlebih kepada karya sastra naskah drama, sehingga bisa melakukan pengembangan penelitian dalam bidang yang sama.Kata kunci: Dialogis, Polifonik, Karnival

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of icons, indices and symbols contained in the process of implementing the seven-monthly appassili in Pasuleang II Takalar Regency seen from Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. This type of research is qualitative research. The data in this study is a form of interpretation related to the meaning contained in the symbols used in the seven monthly appassili in Pasuleang II Takalar District. Sources of data in this study using data sources or informants who act as information centers. The methods used in collecting this research data are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are as follows. The meaning of icons contained in the seven-monthly appassili procession are: (1) buras (burasak), (2) white and black glutinous rice / songkolok (songkolok kebok na lekleng), (3) native chicken (jangang kampong), (4) betel leaf (lekok). The meaning of the index contained in the seven-monthly appassili procession lies in the procession of the tradition, namely: (1) paddupang, (2) bathing, (3) wearing clean clothes, (4) reading appassili intentions and prayers of kindness, (5) massaging the stomach, (6) clamping uring butta. The meaning of the symbols contained in the seven-monthly appassili procession lies in the procession of the tradition, namely: (1) passili leaves (lekok passili), (2) banana leaf shoots (bombong unti), (3) kakdok massingkuluk, (5) pots from the ground (uring butta), (6) lime (pakleok), (7) areca nut (pakrappo), (8) coins (doek rancing), (9) coconut (kaluku), (10) brown sugar ( golla eja), (11) water (jeknek), (12) candle (tai bani), (13) rice (berasak), (14) knife (lading), (15) wooden ladder (tukak pammakkang), (16) cake (kanrejawa picuru), (17) sweet banana (unti tekne), (18) fruits (rappo), (19) cooked eggs (bayao pallu), (20) grilled milkfish (jukuk bolu tunu), (21) pan (pammaja), (22) sarong (lipak ). In general, the meaning contained in the seven-monthly appassili procession of the Pasuleang II community of Takalar Regency is to obtain safety, sustenance, avoid danger / misfortune, a good life and prosperity in the family.Keywords: Symbolic meaning, Appassili seven-monthly, Semiotics of Charles Sanders Pierce

Abstract. The aim of this study is to describe the value of character education of transliteration and translation in Bugis wisdom of Andi hasan Mahmud. Type and design of this study is a description qualitative. The data in this study is written data of an advice that demonstrates the value of character education contained in Bugis transliteration and translation of Andi Hasan Machmud, while the source of the data in this study is Silasa: Setetes Embun di Tanah Gersang by Andi Hasan Machmud. The techniques used to obtain the data in this study include documentation technique, reading technique, and note-writing technique. The technique which was used to analyze the data is miles and Huberman, which consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and a deduction/verification. The study has found eleven forms of value of character education of transliteration and translation in Bugis wisdom of Andi hasan Mahmud those are the value of religious, honesty, tolerance, hard work, democracy. curiosity, appreciative achievement, communicative/friendly, peaceable, social concern, and responsibility.Keywords: Value, Character education and wisdom.
