Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujua untuk melihat persepsi guru tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang dilihat dari aspek menggerakkan, mengarahkan, mempengaruhi, dan memotivasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan jumlah populasi adalah guru SDN se-Kenagarian Tujuah Koto Talago yang berjumlah 68 orang. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, yang diaman semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Persepsi Guru tentang Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dilihat dari aspek menggerakkan berada pada kriteria baik dengan skor 4,41. (2) Persepsi Guru tentang Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dilihat dari aspek mengarahkan berada pada kriteria cukup dengan skor 3,34. (3) Persepsi Guru tentang Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dilihat dari aspek mempengaruhi berada pada kriteria baik dengan skor 4,24. (4) Persepsi Guru tentang Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dilihat dari aspek memotivasi berada pada kriteria baik dengan skor 4,03. Secara keseluruhan persepsi guru tentang kepemimpinan kepala berada pada rata-rata 3,98 dengan kriteria baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut penulis menyarankan agar kepemimpinan kepala sekolah ditingkankan lagi, agar tujuan dari pendidikan dapat terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the following two things. First, to describe the moral values ​​contained in the novel Yang Fana Is Time by Sapardi Djoko Damono. Second, the implication of moral values ​​in the novel Yang Fana Is Time by Sapardi Djoko Damono. This type of research is a qualitative research using content analysis method. The data source in this research is the novel Yang Fana Is Time by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The research instrument is the researcher himself. The data collection technique in this study was a reading and note-taking technique using three formats: the first, the data identification format for the characters and characterizations, the second, the background data inventory format and the plotting stages, and third, the classification of the data on moral values ​​in the novel Yang Fana Is Time. by Sapardi Djoko Damono. There are three analytical techniques used in this study, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) data verification. The data validation technique used in this study is the investigator triangulation technique. Based on the findings in the analysis of the novel Yang Fana Is Time by Sapardi Djoko Damono, they are as follows: first, it describes the moral values ​​in the novel Yang Fana is Time by Sapardi Djoko Damono. (1) the value of honesty, (2) the willingness to be responsible, (3) the moral value of moral independence. Of the three moral values ​​above, the most dominant found in this study are the values ​​of honesty. Second, the implications of this research are applied in the learning of novel texts, especially in the Student Worksheet (LKPD).

Abstract

There are three purposes of this research. First, describe the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman before applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Audio Visual Media Assistance. Second, describe the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Audio Visual Media Assistance. Third, analyze the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Audio Visual Media Assistance on the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method applied is descriptive analysis method. The procedures of this research are: (1) pretest, (2) treatment, and (3) posttest. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year as many as 258 students. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA-5, totaling 30 students. Based on the results of data analysis found. First, the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI IPA-5 students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman before the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Audio Visual Media Assistance were in almost sufficient qualifications (55,57). Second, the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI IPA-5 students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Audio Visual Media are in good qualifications (77.97). Third, there is an effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Audio Visual Media on the skills of producing lecture texts for class XI IPA-5 students of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman after the t-test at level 0.95, obtained tcount > ttable or 5.68 > 1.70.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the author's observations while carrying out Educational Field Practices at SMKN 6 Padang which show the low social competence of teachers. The research questions are 1) How able are teachers to communicate at school based on students' perceptions of SMK Negeri 6 Padang, 2) How able are teachers to get along effectively in schools based on students' perceptions of SMK Negeri 6 Padang, 3) How capable teachers are in using technology and information functionally based on students' perceptions of SMK Negeri 6 Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the population of this research is students of SMK Negeri 6 Padang, totaling 972 people, and sampling was carried out using proportional random sampling technique with the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 100 people. The data collection tool is a questionnaire with a Likert Scale model, and for testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire it is assisted by using the SPSS 28.0 application. Data analysis techniques use the average formula (mean). The results showed that students' perceptions of the social competence of teachers at SMK Negeri 6 Padang, seen from the following aspects: (1) the ability of teachers to communicate is in the capable category with an average score of 3.77; (2) the ability to get along effectively with students is in the very capable category with an average score of 4.22; (3) the ability to use technology and information functionally is in the quite capable category with an average score of 4.05. Overall it can be concluded that students' perceptions of teacher social competence are in the capable category with an average score of 3.50. This means that students' perceptions of the social competence of teachers at SMK Negeri 6 Padang are in the capable category.

Abstract

Penilitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru oleh Kepala sekolah di SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mendeskripsikan tentang pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru oleh kepala sekolah dalam hal pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru sebagai pengajar, pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru sebagai pembimbing, dan pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru sebagai administrator kelas. Populasi penelitian guru SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung sebanyak 51 guru karena populasi tidak lebih besar dari 100 orang responden, maka penulis mengambil 100% jumlah populasi yang ada yaitu 51 guru. Penggunaan seluruh populasi tanpa harus menarik sampel penelitian disebut teknik sensus (jenuh). Alat pengumpul data berupa angket, model skala Likert yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasilnya reliabel dan itemnya yang tidak valid direvisi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus rata-rata. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru oleh kepala sekolah di SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung dari segi pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru dalam mengajar sudah terlaksana dengan baik (4,39). (2) Pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru oleh kepala sekolah di SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung dari segi membimbing siswa sudah terlaksana dengan baik (4,43). (3) Pembinaan pelaksanaan tugas guru oleh kepala sekolah di SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung dari segi Administrasi kelas sudah terlaksana dengan baik (3,91). Jadi, dapat dikatakan bahwa pembinaan pelaksanaan guru oleh kepala sekolah sudah terlaksana dengan baik (4,24).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur yang terdiri dari SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah seberapa baik persepsi guru tentang (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru di SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang yang berjumlah 161 guru. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 guru dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Proportional Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model Skala Likert dengan hasil dan pengolahan datanya memuaskan. Persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur dapat dilihat dari penjelasan berikut: (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,95 berada pada kategori baik, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,92 berada pada kategori baik, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 4,03 berada pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur terlaksana dengan baik, dengan rata-rata 3,96 (baik).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilator belakangi oleh kurang efektifnya pengelolaan kearsipan di Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi pegawai tengang: 1) penyimpanan arsip, 2) peminjaman arsip, 3) penemuan kembali arsip, 4) pemeliharaan arsip, dan 5) penyusutan arsip di Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Populasinya seluruh pegawai di Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Padang yang berjumlah 65 orang. Sampel berjumlah 44 orang, diambil menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket model skala Likert yang telah diuji cobakan untuk melihat validitas dan realibilitasnya pada timgkat kepercayaan 10%. Yang hasilnya dari 40 item pernyataan, 34 item valid dan 6 item tidak valid, kemudian pernyataan yang tidak valid dianggap gugur serta dinyatakan reliabel. Data diolah menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi pegawai tentang: a) penyimpanan arsip 3,85 berada pada kategori efektif, b) peminjaman arsip 4,00 berada pada kategori efektif, c) penemuan kembali arsip 3,96 berada pada kategori efektif, d) pemeliharaan arsip 4,07 berada pada kategori efektif, dan e) penyusutan arsip 4,27 berada pada kategori efektif. Jadi evektivitas pengelolaan kearsipan sudah efektif dikelola di Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Padang dengan skor rata-rata 4,03 berdasarkan persepsi pegawainya.

Abstract

A conducive school climate is very important because this will support the teaching and learning process in accordance with expectations and will benefit all parties. Increasing teacher enthusiasm in teaching and learning enthusiasm of students is an important hope in achieving a good and conducive climate. School climate is an atmosphere that plays an active role in supporting the creation of a good school environment, which will affect student learning outcomes and achievements. This study aims to look at the climate of schools in the IV Jurai sub-district in terms of the dimensions of relationships, system changes and improvements, the physical environment and personal development. The research method used is descriptive research. The population in this study is SMKN in IV Jurai Painan district. The results of research on aspects of the relationship dimension with an average score of 4.11 with a conducive category, dimensions of change and improvement of the system with an average score of 3.70 with a conducive category, dimensions of the physical environment with an average score of 4.02 conducive category and dimensions of personal development with an average score of 3.73 in the conducive category.

Abstract

Observasi penulis di SMK Negeri 2 Padang terhadap pengelolaan sarana pendidikan yang masih belum terlaksana secara optimal menjadi dasar dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam bagaimana pengelolaan fasilitas pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 2 Padang dilihat oleh para guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sebanyak 105 peserta penelitian, termasuk 53 peserta dari sampel, semuanya adalah guru SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Rumus Slovin digunakan untuk menghitung pengambilan sampel, dan metode Stratified Proportional Random Sampling digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sampel. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan model Skala Likert 47 item yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Data diolah dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata (Mean). Dari hasil pengolahan data tersebut diperoleh bahwa skor rata-rata persepsi guru tentang: perencanaan sarana yaitu 4,02 berada pada kategori baik, pengadaan sarana 3,99 berada pada kategori baik, inventarisasi sarana 3,92 berada pada kategori baik, pemanfaatan sarana 4,15 berada pada kategori baik, penyimpanan sarana 3,98 berada pada kategori baik, pemilihan sarana 4,04 berada pada kategori baik, dan penghapusan sarana 4,03 berada pada kategori baik. Skor rata-rata secara keseluruhan adalah 4,02 berada pada kategori baik. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran sudah baik. Maka dari itu pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 2 Padang perlu untuk di tingkatkan.

Abstract

Vocational education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays an important role in preparing students for the world of work. In contrast to general education, vocational education in SMK aims to develop practical skills that are in line with industry needs and provide students with a strong foundation to enter the workforce after graduation. SMKs have a strategic role in supporting a country's economic growth. Through vocational education programs, SMKs can prepare a skilled and ready-to-use workforce to meet industry needs. By combining theory and practice, vocational education in SMK can provide students with relevant skills and abilities needed in the work environment. However, vocational education in SMK also faces various challenges that need to be addressed. These challenges relate to curriculum, teaching quality, and English language teaching. This article aims to analyze and present the challenges faced in improving the curriculum to keep up with the industry. In addition, the quality of teaching is an important aspect that needs to be considered so that students can get a quality education. Furthermore, English language teaching is also the focus of this article, given the importance of English language skills in facing global challenges. In addition to discussing the challenges, this article will also propose possible solutions that can be implemented to overcome these problems. These solutions may include improving the curriculum, enhancing the quality of teaching through teacher training and professional development, as well as more effective strategies in teaching English in SMK.
