Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study to determine; (1) the learning plan in SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh;  (2) organizing learning in primary schools 45 Banda Aceh;  (3) the implementation of learning in primary schools 45 Banda Aceh, and; (4) assessment of learning in primary schools 45 Banda Aceh. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects were 45 teachers in primary schools in Banda Aceh. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that; (1) planning of learning made by teachers SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh is not yet planned. Most of the preparation of lesson plans that exist on teacher made jointly by team group. Only a small proportion of teachers are able to organize and make their own RPP; (2) organizing learning undertaken by teachers SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh have done well, by organizing optimal learning process, manage changes and school development towards effective learning organization, create a culture and climate of the school is innovative and conducive to the learning process in the school;  (3) the implementation of the study conducted by teachers SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh general nature only. This, due to the limited funds at the school. If planned and implemented in earnest, teachers predict barriers to supporting factors, namely money, time, and means; and (4) learning assessment conducted by teachers SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh can be categorized as good, the assessment of teachers do objectively the results obtained by the students. Assessment conducted to see the progress of learners in terms of mastery of teaching materials that have been studied.KEYWORDS: management, learning, and school                    ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui; (1) perencanaan pembelajaran di SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh; (2) pengorganisasian pembelajaran di SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh;  (3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh, dan (4) penilaian pembelajaran di SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru di SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa;  (1) perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh belum direncanakan dengan baik. Sebagian besar penyusunan RPP yang ada pada guru dibuat secara bersama-sama oleh tim gugus. Hanya sebagian kecil guru yang mampu menyusun dan membuat sendiri RPP;  (2) pengorganisasian pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh telah dilakukan dengan baik, dengan menyelenggarakan proses pembelajaran yang optimal, mengelola perubahan dan pengembangan sekolah menuju organisasi pembelajaran yang efektif, menciptakan budaya dan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan inovatif bagi proses pembelajaran di sekolah; (3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh hanya bersifat umum. Hal ini, disebabkan oleh keterbatasan dana di sekolah. Apabila direncanakan dan dilaksanakan dengan sungguh-sungguh, guru memprediksikan adanya hambatan pada faktor pendukungnya, yaitu dana, waktu, dan sarana; dan  (4) penilaian pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru SD Negeri 45 Banda Aceh dapat dikategorikan baik, penilaian yang dilakukan guru dilakukan secara objektif terhadap hasil yang diperoleh oleh siswa. Penilaian yang dilakukan untuk melihat kemajuan belajar peserta didik dalam hal penguasaan materi pengajaran yang telah dipelajari.KATA KUNCI: manajemen, pembelajaran, dan sekolah

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Clinical supervision is a professional guidance given to teachers based on the necessity through systematical cycles and it is an effort to improve teaching skill that can improve professional competence of teachers. This study aimed to find out the programs of clinical supervision, stages of the implementation of clinical supervision, and its supporting and inhibiting factors.The method used in this study was qualitative method. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation study. The subjects of this study were principal, supervisor, and teachers. The results of the study were: (1) The programs of clinical supervision in Islamic State Senior High School (MAN) of Beureunuen were arranged based on the problems rose and teachers’ demands. The programs were made when the teachers asked the clinical supervision. The programs were permanent, in form of official procedures, notes of implementation schedule, and clinical supervision instruments. (2) The stages of clinical supervision to improve the professional competence of teachers in Islamic State Senior High School Beureunuen were conducted through beginning stage, started by creating good relation, determining schedules, and designing instruments. Then, it was started the class observation, where the supervisor carried out the clinical supervision with the instruments and agreement with teachers, and noted everything happened in the process of clinical supervision. After that, it was continued with feedback stage, the supervisor reaffirmed the commitment and motivation of teachers and asked the teachers’ feeling after the observation, explained the result of supervision and concluded the achievement, and motivated the teachers to continue clinical supervision in the next chance. (3) The supporting factors in the implementation of clinical supervision were the willingness and motivation, the clinical supervision conducted to overcome teachers’ weakness, innovation, optimal effort of principal and supervisor in running clinical supervision programs. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were lack of understanding and knowledge of the importance of clinical supervision, inadequate time, less-motivated teachers, difference of quality and motivation in teaching, teachers forget the methods and teaching media, and heterogeneous teachers.KEYWORDS: clinical supervision, professional competence, and teacher ABSTRAK: Supervisi klinis merupakan bimbingan profesional yang diberikan kepada guru berdasarkan kebutuhannya melalui siklus yang sistematis, dan merupakan upaya perbaikan keterampilan mengajar yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program supervisi klinis, tahapan-tahapan pelaksanaan supervisi klinis, dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah: observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah: kepala sekolah, pengawas sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) program supervisi klinis di MAN Beureunuen disusun berdasarkan permasalahan yang timbul dan permintaan dari guru, program dibuat pada saat guru meminta untuk disupervisi klinis. Bentuk program yang dibuat dalam bentuk permanen, berupa prosedur resmi, cacatan jadwal pelaksanaan, serta instrumen supervisi klinis; (2) tahapan pelaksanaan supervisi klinis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di MAN Beureunuen dilakukan dari tahapan awal, yang dimulai dengan guru yang datang kepada supervisor untuk meminta dilakukan supervisi , guru juga menceritakan permasalahan yang terjadi di dalam kelas, sehingga terciptanya hubungan baik, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mengkaji tujuan pembelajaran, metode, waktu,media, menentukan jadwal sampai dengan menyusun instrument dan teknik pelaksanaan observasi, serta alat bantu dalam melaksanakan observasi, setelah tahap awal selesai dilakukan, maka dimulai observasi kelas, dimana supervisor akan melaksanakan supervisi klinis dengan instrumen serta ketentuan yang telah disepakati dengan guru, mencatat segala hal yang terjadi selama proses supervisi klinis berlangsung, serta mengumpulkan data dan mencatat kinerja guru dengan melihat interaksi antara guru dan siswa,  kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahapan umpan balik, supervisor kembali menguatkan tekad dan motivasi guru serta menanyakan perasaan guru setelah observasi, menerangkan hasil supervisi serta menyimpulkan hal yang telah dicapai, serta memotivasi guru untuk melanjutkan supervisi klinis pada kesempatan berikutnya; dan (3) faktor pendukung pelaksanaan supervisi klinis adalah: adanya kemauan serta motivasi, supervisi klinis dilakukan untuk mengatasi kekurangan guru, adanya inovasi, pengawas dan kepala sekolah sangat maksimal dalam menjalankan program supervisi klinis. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah: kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya supervisi klinis, waktu yang tidak mencukupi, guru kurang bersemangat, perbedaan kualitas dan motivasi dalam mengajar, guru sering lupa metode dan media ajar, dan kondisi guru yang heterogen.KATA KUNCI: supervisi klinis, kompetensi professional, dan guru

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Leadership style is an attitude or behavior which apply the school leader in implementing the tasks of leadership, depending on the circumstances of a person employed at the time of that person attempts to influence others. The research objective was to determine the principal's leadership style, include: discipline teachers; the ability of the teacher and the teacher's responsibility. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Collected through: interviews, observation and documentation. Subjects were principals, teachers and school supervisors in Gugus VII Kecamatan Sultan Daulat. The research found: (1) The leadership style that is applied to the principal in improving discipline teachers, tells style. In addition to informing, principals also apply a participatory style, where the principal invites teachers to discipline and guide teachers on work to be done; (2) The leadership style that is applied to the principal in improving teaching capabilities is a participative style by opening a discussion forum every opportunity to find a solution. In addition to a participative style principals also apply a consultative style to direct teachers to improve his work both in learning and preparing the school administration; and (3) The leadership style is applied principals in improving teachers' responsibility is discretionary style by directing teachers to prepare school programs, solve problems independently and decide which solution is best for educational purposes. In addition, principals also apply where the participative with this style, teachers have contributed to the decision making process.KEYWORDS: Leadership, Style, Principal and Teacher Performance ABSTRAK: Gaya kepemimpinan adalah sikap atau prilaku yang diterapkan pemimpin sekolah dalam melaksanakan tugas kepemimpinannya, tergantung pada situasi dan kondisi yang dipergunakan seseorang pada saat orang tersebut mencoba mempengaruhi orang lain. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, meliputi: disiplin guru; kemampuan guru dan tanggung jawab guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui: wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan pengawas sekolah di Gugus VII dalam Kecamatan Sultan Daulat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin guru yaitu gaya memberitahukan (telling). Selain memberitahukan, kepala sekolah juga menerapkan gaya partisipasif, dimana kepala sekolah mengajak guru untuk disiplin serta mengarahkannya tentang tugas yang harus dikerjakan; (2) Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar guru adalah gaya partisipatif dengan membuka forum diskusi setiap kesempatan untuk mencari solusi. Selain gaya partisipatif kepala sekolah juga menerapkan gaya konsultatif (selling) untuk mengarahkan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kerjanya baik dalam pembelajaran maupun menyusun administrasi sekolah; dan (3) Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab mengajar guru adalah gaya delegatif dengan mengarahkan guru untuk menyusun program sekolah, mengatasi permasalahan secara mandiri dan memutuskan solusi yang terbaik untuk kepentingan pendidikan. Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga menerapkan gaya partisipatif, dengan gaya ini guru mempunyai andil dalam pengambilan keputusan.KATA KUNCI: Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Management of  MGMP PAI is a standard to measure the targets that have been achieved in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of the organization's resources to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. The research objective was to determine the management of MGMP including: (1) MGMP management program; (2) The implementation of MGMP program and (3) The evaluation of MGMP program. This study used a qualitative approach using descriptive method. The data was collected through interview, observation and study documentation. The Subjects of the reasearch were teachers, the chairman of MGMP PAI, and PAI supervisor of MGMP Forum at SMK in Aceh Jaya. The results showed: (1) MGMP program compiled through by conference activity arranged at the beginning semester which involved the chairman, secretary, treasurer, and the other members of MGMP. MGMP programs consist of: the syllabus discussion, the preparation of lesson plans, the teachers’ difficulties in teaching and the other problems in learning PAI; (2) The implementation of MGMP arranged routinely once a month in  a particular schedule to discuss the lesson plan compiling technique,  train the teachers in tecnology information skill, and solve teachers’s problems in learning; and (3) The evaluation of MGMP program arranged consistently, systematically, and programmatic using either  test or non-test evaluation through the performance observation, the attitude measurement, the work assessment, and self-assessment. The obstacles of evaluation program were lack of post budget to conduct the evalution because the budget was only from members’ self supporting.KEYWORDS: management, teachers’ professional, and MGMP ABSTRAK: Manajemen MGMP PAI merupakan ukuran sejauh mana sasaran yang telah dicapai dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengevaluasian, dan pengawasan sumber daya organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan secara efektif dan efesien. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen MGMP, meliputi: (1) Program manajemen MGMP; (2) Pelaksanaan program MGMP dan (3) Evaluasi program MGMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru, ketua MGMP dan pengawas PAI pada Forum MGMP SMK di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Program MGMP disusun melalui Musyawarah Guru Bersama pada awal semester dengan ikut terlibat ketua MGMP, sekretaris, bendahara, pengurus dan anggota lain. Isi program MGMP terdiri dari: pembahasan silabus, penyusunan RPP, kesulitan guru dalam mengajar dan permasalahan lain dalam pembelajaran PAI; (2) Pelaksanaan MGMP rutin dilakukan setiap satu bulan sekali dengan jadwal yang telah terprogram, dengan membahas tentang teknik menyusun RPP, melatih guru dalam IT, dan pemecahan masalah guru dalam pembelajaran; dan (3) Evaluasi program MGMP dilakukan secara konsisten, sistematis, dan terprogram dengan menggunakan tes dan nontes melalui pengamatan kinerja, pengukuran sikap, penilaian hasil karya, dan penilaian diri. Hambatan evaluasi program yakni tidak tersedianya post anggaran untuk melaksanakan kegiatan,  anggaran yang tersedia berasal dari swadaya anggota.KATA KUNCI: manajemen, profesional guru, dan MGMP

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Finance in the education sector in schools is essential. Therefore money need to be managed effectively and efficiently in order to help meet the goals of education. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Subjects of this study were principal, vice principals, treasurers and teachers. The main purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of financial planning system, the mechanism of financial processes and financial accountability. For the data analysis, this study used descriptive techniques which the implementation was done in three flow of activities, that is, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results showed that: (1) The relevance of the planning system of school finance plan was agree with the school plan as a whole, both short-term plan and the medium-term. The short-term plans is one-year plan, while the medium-term plan is 4-year plan; (2) Financial planning was focused on the existing budget, that is, School Finance Assistant, and School Budget Planning (RKAS) was compiled based on school strengths in education; (3) The mechanism of financing process was carried out by analyzing the cost per item or per unit of activity, by managing the budget item, that is, the classification of the budget to finance a particular activity. To analyze the cost per item of activity, it needs to create a Budget Plan (RAB) of any activity, so that it finds how much the cost needed by matching the other balanced or no-balanced activities in accordance with the priority scale, and (4) the financial accountability was done by the principal assisted by treasurer, which is reported to government, especially to Regional Education Office.KEYWORDS: effectiveness, management, finance ABSTRAK: Keuangan dalam pendidikan disuatu sekolah merupakan hal yang esensial. Oleh karena itu uang perlu dikelola denga efektif dan efisien agar membantu pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskritif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan: observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, bendahara dan guru. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui relevansi sistem perencanaan keuangan, mekanisme proses keuangan dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif yang penerapannya dilakukan dalam tiga alur kegiatan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Relevansi sistem perencanaan keuangan sekolah disesuaikan dengan rencana sekolah secara keseluruhan, baik rencana jangka pendek maupun jangka menengah. Rencana jangka pendek berupa rencana 1 (satu) tahunan, sedangkan rencana jangka menengah untuk 4 (empat) tahunan pendidikan; (2) Mekanisme proses pembiayan dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis biaya per item atau per unit kegiatan, dengan cara mengatur mata anggaran-mata anggaran, yaitu klasifikasi anggaran untuk membiayai suatu kegiatan tertentu. Menganalisis Kebutuhan biaya per item aktivitas adalah dengan membuat Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) setiap aktivitas sehingga terlihat berapa biaya yang diperlukan dengan mencocokkan dengan aktivitas lain seimbang atau tidak seimbang sesuai skala prioritas dan mendesak dan (3) Pertanggungjawaban keuangan dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah yang dibantu oleh bendahara dalam pembuatan pelaporannya, yang akan dilapor ke pemerintah khususnya Dinas Pendidikan setempatKATA KUNCI: efektivitas, manajemen, keuangan

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to determine source of financing, planning, implementation and monitoring of education financing at State Junior High School No. 19 Percontohan (Pilot School) of Banda Aceh. This study used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the principal, vice principal, treasurer, teachers and school committees. The techniques used to collect the data were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Sources of financing for education were from the state budget, City budget, families, and society; (2) Financial planning of education or RAPBS was done by: that the principal directed vice principal, treasurer and school committee considered the input and output elements; (3) The implementation of education financing included: financing the disadvantaged students, pay honorariums of casual teachers, professional development (training), building maintenance, bought the tools of lessons, sports, arts, finance daily test of general and school, remedial, enrichment and procurement of mobile; and (4) Monitoring education financing was done by Inspectorate Team in Banda Aceh, the School Committee and functional supervision by the regional Inspectorate. The disadvantage was that in the financial planning of education had not been able to accommodate a variety of conditions and background of the students; not all teachers and donors were involved. Besides, the society is less concerned about the education financing that has been presented on the billboard.KEYWORDS: management, finance, and educationABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sumber pembiayaan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan  pembiayaan pendidikan pada SMP Negeri 19 Percontohan Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, bendahara, guru dan komite sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sumber pembiayaan pendidikan berasal dari APBN, APBK, keluarga, dan masyarakat; (2) Perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan atau RAPBS  dilakukan dengan menggunakan:  a) Logika, proses setapak demi setapak untuk menuju perubahan yang diharapkan, b) Menetapkan mekanisme feed back yang memberitahukan kemajuan peserta didik, dan menunjukkan perubahan-perubahan yang diperlukan, c) Menggunakan langkah yang jelas, mudah dikomunikasikan dan dipahami oleh orang lain, d) Mengidentifikasi masalah berdasarkan kebutuhan, e) Menentukan syarat-syarat dan alternatif pemecahannya, f) Melaksanakan strategi yang telah dipilih, g) Menentukan efektivitas hasilnya dengan jalan mengadakan evaluasi, h) Mengadakan revisi setiap langkah dan proses yang dilakukan; (3) Pelaksanaan pembiayaan pendidikan meliputi: pembiayaan siswa kurang mampu, membayar honor GTT, pengembangan profesi (pelatihan), perawatan gedung, membeli alat-alat pelajaran, olahraga, kesenian, membiayai ulangan harian/umum dan sekolah, remedial, pengayaan dan pengadaan mobiler; dan (4) Pengawasan pembiayaan dilakukan secara melekat oleh Tim Inspektorat Kota Banda Aceh, Komite Sekolah dan pengawasan fungsional oleh Bawasda. Kelemahan dalam perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan adalah belum dapat mengakomodasi berbagai kondisi dan latar belakang siswa, tidak semua guru,  donatur dilibatkan, dan masyarakat kurang peduli terhadap pembiayaan pendidikan yang telah dipaparkan di papan pengumuman.KATA KUNCI: pengelolaan,  pembiayaan, dan pendidikan

Abstract

ABSTRACT:The purpose of this study was to find out the program, implementation, evaluation, and obstacles faced by the principal in improving the professional competence of teachers at State Junior High School 1 Batee of Batee Sub-district of Pidie Regency. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The technique of data collection used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Subjects of the research were principal, vice principals, chairman of MGMP (Teacher Network), teachers, school supervisors, and school committees. Data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The results showed that: (1) Programs are arranged at the beginning of each school year by the school development team and has not been well documented and tidy. The planned program was the preparation of lesson plans, implementation of learning, evaluation of learning, supervision of classroom, implementation of MGMP and procurement of instructional media; (2) Activities carried out not all listed on a standard instrument, the schedule of activities was not all according to plan and the frequency of the activities was not in accordance with the planned program that has been prepared; (3) The evaluation was conducted at the end of each semester and served as a follow-up program to determine the advanced program. The evaluation results were presented to teachers, both individually and in groups; and (4) obstacles faced were: the teachers did not master ICT well, they did not master the subject matter, they rarely applied the learning method, the principal had too much workload, and the absence of a standard school program.KEYWORDS: management, planning, actuating, evaluating, principal and teacher professional competency ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui program, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pada SMP Negeri 1 Batee Kecamatan Batee Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, ketua MGMP, guru, pengawas, dan komite sekolah. Data dianalisis dengan cara: reduksi data, display data, mengambil kesimpulan, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Program disusun pada setiap awal tahun pelajaran oleh tim pengembangan sekolah belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. Program yang direncanakan berupa: penyusunan RPP, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, evaluasi pembelajaran, supervisi kelas, melaksanakan MGMP, dan pengadaan  media pembelajaran; (2) Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan belum semuanya tercantum pada instrumen yang baku, jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan belum semuanya sesuai rencana dan jumlah kegiatan tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan program yang sudah disusun; (3) Evaluasi dilaksanakan pada setiap akhir semester dan dijadikan sebagai tindak lanjut dalam menentukan program lanjutan. Hasil evaluasi disampaikan kepada guru, baik secara individual maupun secara kelompok; dan (4) Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi adalah guru kurang menguasai ICT, kurang menguasai materi pelajaran, jarang menerapkan metode pembelajaran, banyaknya tugas kepala sekolah, dan belum adanya program sekolah yang baku.KATA KUNCI: manajemen, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, kepala sekolah dan kompetensi professional guru

Abstract

School based management as a practical approach whose aim is to design and to manage the school system by giving power to the school principal  and increase teachers participation, parents and society. MBS is expected to improve the quality of sustainable and having independence. This study aims to know the application of MBS in MTsN Model Banda Aceh. Approach research used is a qualitative approach. Method of this research is descriptive with data collection by using  observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects are principals, deputy of curricula, students’ affairs, public relations and teacher.  The result of the research shows that: (1) curriculum field management discuss preparation of learning, comprehension, mastery of teaching material competence / subject matter and purpose; Use of forms in classroom management, using methods and learning with media. (2) Student field management develops the potential of learners optimally integrated, including; Talent, interest and creativity. (3) Personnel management on MTsN Model of teacher development, providing self-development opportunities and recruitment of companion teachers. (4) Community relationship management functions, among others, fostering school relationships with parents. Maintain good relationships with school committees. School relations with the community were built with the aim of popularity of MTsN Model in the community.Keywords:  school based management, principal, work program.

Abstract

School will be able to run smoothly if facilities and infrastructure of education very support for learning process. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach.  The purpose of this research is to describe correctly and real about the management of education facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning in SD Negeri Lamteubee Aceh Besar.Data collection technique include observation, interviews, and documentation studies.  Research subjetct were Headmaster, Vice Principal, Teacher Council, and School Staff/Operator.  Result of research indicate that: (1) Planning of facilities and infratructure that is with activity analyze first first all school facilities and infrastructure. (2) The procurement of facilities and infrastructure collects inventory data for the data first and knows the inventory. (3) Utilization/use in is used by all citizens of schools, teachers and all school children, utilization of educational inventory should also be effectively monitored by the parties appointed by the school. (4) Maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is needed by teachers and students so that the goods owned by the school is always under supervision and well maintained.  (5) Elimination in made a letter of proposal to the Education Office so that related parties can make an official letter for the deletion. Abstract

Management of guidance and counseling teacher is an important factor in improving the quality of education. Management of guidance and counseling will be able to provide effective guidance service. This study was conducted to find out the overview of program, implementation, evaluation, and obtascles faced by guidance and counseling teachers in SMA ( senior high school) 1 Banda Aceh. The research method used was qualitative approach. The data collection was done by means of observation, interview, documentation, and data analysis. The subjects of the study were principals, guidance and counseling teachers, and student. 1). The programs of guidance and counseling teachers whic hare in forms of annual, monthly, and daily RPL programs were well arranged, 2). The implementasion of guidance service was done based on the curriculum and certain cases faced by the students, and the implementasion of the program consists of guidance service for students, 3). The evaluation done by guidance and counseling teachers was based on the cases that had been solved including violation in discipline such as coming late to school, using inappropriate school attributes, and carrying mobile phone to school. The evaluation conducted by taecher and counseling guidance was in accordance with the problems faced by the students. 4). One of the obstacles faced by guidance and counseling teachers is lack of support and collaborative work with homeroom teachers and 0SIS supervisor in resolving students’ problems. Moreover, there were only few books avaible related to guidance and counseling service in the school library.Keywords: management, guidance, and counseling teachers.
