Abstract

Abstract: The using of technology in the field of education especially in college is the using of e-learning. E-learning is a way of teaching and learning activities assisted by information and communication technology. One example of e-learning implementation is test. This type of exam is referred to as an online test or computer based testing (CBT). University of Jember has an e-learning called Media Manajemen Pembelajaran (MMP) and one of the features in it is a quiz feature that can be used by lecturers in giving quizzes, tests, or examinations to students. . The research that has been carried out aims to determine the response of Physics Education students to the implementation of online examinations in Lab Management courses. The question model used in this exam is in the form of multiple choices. After students finish working on the questions, students fill in the questionnaire responses which are then processed and presented in tabular forms, then analyzed descriptively. The results obtained from this study give good results. Students give positive responses to representations about using the online system for exams, the interest of students in taking online exams, easy use of web access, online system test displays and questions, and responses to the methods used in the online system. Keywords: guided inquiry, decision making, physics learning.

Abstract

UKBM is a learning tool using the Semester Credit System (SKS) and is a small learning unit that is arranged sequentially by involving study time units. This research is focused on developing UKBM with the Engineering Design Process (EDP) approach in learning physics in high school. The purpose of this study was to produce a valid UKBM and determine the effectiveness of UKBM through increasing students' STEM literacy after using the EDP-based UKBM. This study uses a research and development (R&D) model with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The results of the validity of product development are declared valid by the three validators with an average percentage of 88%, so that product development can be implemented in schools. The results of the effectiveness obtained from analyzing the results of the pre-test and post-test N-gain with the acquisition of N-Gain of 76.96% so that it is in the high category. The development of UKBM with the Engineering Design Process (EDP) Approach to improve STEM literacy of high school students was declared valid and effective.

Abstract

Gelombang elektromagnetik Extremely Low Frequency merupakan salah satu jenis dari radiasi non ionizing karena gelombang ELF memiliki nilai frekuensi lebih kecil dari 300 Hz. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh paparan medan magnet ELF terhadap nilai pH dan ketahanan fisik jamur tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Jamur tiram putih digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok besar yaitu kelompok kontrol (suhu ruang) dan (suhu rendah) tanpa dipapar serta kelompok eksperimen yang dipapar medan magnet ELF intensitas 600 μT dan 900 μT selama 30 menit, 60 menit, dan 90 menit dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 tangkai jamur tiram pada setiap kelompok. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan teknik analisis statistik uji One Way Anova dan uji Kruskal Wallis menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistik 23. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa pemberian paparan medan magnet ELF berpengaruh terhadap perubahan nilai derajat keasaman (pH) dan ketahanan fisik jamur tiram dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa intensitas 900 μT selama 60 menit efektif digunakan untuk menghambat perubahan nilai pH jamur tiram serta menghambat penurunan skor dan presentase ketahanan fisik pada jamur tiram.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based Al-Qur'an integrated physics learning media to improve preservice physics teachers' higher-order thinking skills and spiritual attitudes. The development of learning media uses the ADDIE model. Media and material experts assessed the feasibility of learning media through a validation questionnaire. The trial was carried out on 40 preservice physics teacher students. The validation results were analyzed using a descriptive technique. The analysis results show that the learning media developed is suitable for improving Higher Order Thinking Skills and the Spiritual Attitude of Preservice Physics Teachers. So, the Android-based physics learning media integrated with the Quran can be implemented for preservice physics teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan serta keefektifan media pembelajaran fisika menggunakan Sparkol Videoscribe pokok bahasan fluida dinamis. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa video pembelajaran memakai Sparkol Videoscribe pokok bahasan fluida dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D dengan 4 tahap yakni define, design, development, disseminate. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 dan XI MIPA 4 di SMA Negeri 1 Glenmore tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan di penelitian ini yakni lembar validasi, lembar pre-test serta post-test yang terdiri dari 5 soal.  Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan Sparkol Videoscribe pokok bahasan fluida dinamis dikategorikan valid atau layak dengan hasil rata-rata uji validator ahli dan pengguna mencapai tingkat kevalidan 88,5% dan media pembelajaran ini efektif dipakai pada kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas XI karena terbukti dapat menaikkan hasil belajar siswa di aspek kognitif dengan nilai N-gain sejumlah 75% termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi”, sehingga media pembelajaran fisika memakai Sparkol Videoscribe menghasilkan video pembelajaran yang valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media pembelajaran fisika menggunakan Sparkol Videoscribe valid, efektif dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran fluida dinamis. This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility and effectiveness of physics learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe on dynamic fluid topics. The product developed is a learning video using Sparkol Videoscribe on dynamic fluid topics. This study uses research and development methods with a 4D development model with four stages: define, design, development, and dissemination. The subjects in this study were students of classes XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 at SMA Negeri 1 Glenmore for the academic year 2021/2022. The data collection instruments used in this study were validation sheets and pre-test and post-test sheets consisting of 5 questions. The results of the research on the development of learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe the subject of dynamic fluid discussions are categorized as valid or feasible, with the average results of expert and user validator tests reaching a validity level of 88.5%. This learning media is effectively used in teaching and learning activities in class XI because it is proven to increase student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect with an N-gain value of 75% are included in the "high" category, so that the physics learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe produces valid learning videos. Based on the research results, the physics learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe is valid, effective and can be used as a tool in dynamic fluid learning.

Abstract

Analysis of the subsurface structure of Mount Ijen, Banyuwangi was carried out based on anomaly data obtained from satellite image data. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the subsurface structures around the research site. In this study, what is determined is the complete Bouguer anomaly (ABL), regional and residual anomalies based on the ABL, and their inversion modeling. The results of the representation of underground structures based on residual anomalies obtained from complete and regional Bouguer anomaly data. The complete bouguer anomaly values obtained in the Mount Ijen area range from 12.2 to 110.7 mGal. In the process of separating regional and residual anomalies, different anomaly values are produced. The regional anomaly value ranges from +12.2 to +110.7 mGal while the residual anomaly ranges from -4.2 to +2.4 mGal

Abstract

A solution for learning in the form of a module integrated with a QR code is offered to assist lecturers in delivering material to students of Physics Education Study Program. With the integrated QR code physics learning module, it is able to increase interest improve students' digital literacy. The method of research is research and development and the analysis was carried out based on the questionnaire data processing. The result shows that the increase of average percentage value of the measurement of interest in learning is 22.24% and the average percentage value of the measurement of digital literacy ability is 80.90%. Based on the results, the conclusions are the integrated QR code on physics learning module is effective to increase interest in learning and students have high digital literacy skills because they are able to take advantage of digital media for the learning process

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the response of students of physics education at the University of Jember to a virtual laboratory assisted by scratch on the subject of circular motion. The method used is descriptive and the sample is 93 students of the Physics Education Class of 2021/2022. The data collection technique is in the form of student response questionnaires made using google forms. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the average percentage result is 83.1%, which is included in the very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the virtual scratch laboratory on the subject of circular motion is very suitable to be used during physics practicum.

Abstract

Applying the right learning model is very much needed in learning physics, because there is still a lot of physics learning that is applied using classical methods, such as lectures and direct instruction, so that it affects student learning outcomes. The material elasticity of materials is not only dominated by theory but also real practice (practicum). This requires a more effective learning model so as to improve student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are achievements achieved by students academically through exams or tests. Current developments have brought progress in education, one of which is project-based learning (PjBL) and learning that collaborates multi-disciplines, namely science, technology, arts, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM). The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of using the project based learning model with the STEAM approach on high school student learning outcomes on the subject of material elasticity. The type of research used is true experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research subjects were 2 classes at XI MIPA at SMAN 3 Bondowoso. Research data on learning outcomes were obtained from students' pretest and posttest scores. The data obtained was processed using the SPSS 23.0 program. The PjBL model with the STEAM approach stated that there was a significant influence on the learning outcomes of high school students on the subject of material elasticity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa material-material limpasan yang dibawa oleh Gunung Semeru untuk mengetahui gambaran struktur bawah permukaan setelah erupsi tahun 2022. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif yang dihasilakan dari pengamatan melalui Oasis Montaj. Mencari nilai bouguer kemudian dipisahkan menjadi nilai anomali regional dan anomali residual menggunakan Filter Butterworth. Hasil pengolahan data Gunung Semeru di kabupaten Lumajang diperoleh dengan penggambaran pola Anomali Bouguer Lengkap. Kemudian dipetakan ke dalam kontur dengan software surfer. Anomali Bouguer lengkap gunung semeru dengan sebaran anomali berkisar antara +128,7 sampai +277,9 mGal. Anomali paling rendah ditunjukkan dengan warna biru tua dan anomali tinggi ditunjukkan dengan warna ungu muda. Selanjutnya melakukan slicing anomali residual yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur bawah permukaan menggunakan lintasan. Hasil slicing anomali residual berkisar antara -4,2 sampai 2,4 mGal. Pemodelan inversi 2D didapatkan melalui data langsung hasil slicing yang berupa data koordinat x dan y serta data gravitasi yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan ZondGM2D. Parameter yang cocok observasi (Go) yang digambarkan dengan lingkaran kecil dan komputasi (Gc) yang digambarkan dengan garis lurus.
