Abstract

Instagram merupakan media yang digunakan untuk berbagi foto dan tanggapan dengan berbagai fitur yang tersedia. Foto termasuk sumber belajar visual yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan dan mengomunikasikan suatu ide. Planteogram (Plantae on Instagram) menggunakan Instagram sebagai sumber belajar yang berisi foto perawakan, batang, daun, bunga dan buah jika ada dengan dilengkapi nama ilmiah, nama lokal, dan ciri karakteristik tumbuhan angiospermae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Planteogram “Angiospermae” sebagai sumber belajar yang layak secara teoretis dan empiris. Kelayakan teoretis diperoleh berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh tiga dosen Jurusan Biologi Unesa dan kelayakan empiris diperoleh berdasarkan respons enam guru SMA. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan instruksional Fenrich yang terdiri dari analisis, perencanaan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, serta evaluasi dan revisi di setiap tahapnya. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket respons guru. Lembar validasi mencakup penilaian aspek kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan isi, dan kelayakan bahasa sedangkan angket respons guru terdiri dari 25 butir pernyataan terkait aspek keterbacaan, penyajian dan isi dari Planteogram “Angiospermae”. Parameter pada penelitian ini mencakup hasil validasi dan respons guru yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan kelayakan teoretis menunjukkan validitas Planteogram “Angiospermae” sebesar 3,67 dengan interpretasi sangat valid. Kelayakan empiris berdasarkan respons positif guru mendapatkan persentase sebesar 98% dengan interpretasi sangat layak. Dengan demikian penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan Planteogram “Angiospermae” dengan nama akun Planteogram_ yang layak secara teoretis dan empiris.sebagai sumber belajar keanekaragaman tumbuhan angiospermae. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan implementasi kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi, dan 2) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan implementasi kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian observasional. Observasi dilakukan pada matakuliah program studi Pendidikan Biologi. Pengumpulan data terkait dokumen dan observasi dilakukan dengan mengacu pada instrumen yang relevan untuk mengukur  mengukur efektivitas dan keterlaksanaan kurikulum Dikti. Analisis data disesuaikan dengan jenis instrumennya, yaitu 1) instrumen pengumpul data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, 2) nilai hasil belajar dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji perbedaan rerata, 3) instrumen observasi proses perkuliahan dianalisis secara deskrptif kuantitatif, 4) angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu 1) Kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi efektif, dan 2) Keterlaksanaan Kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi sangat baik.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Kurikulum, Pendidikan Biologi This aims of this study to: 1) describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the SN-Dikti curriculum in Biology Education Department, and 2) describe the implementation of the SN-Dikti curriculum implementation in Biology Education Department. This research is an observational study. Observations were made on the courses of Biology Education Department. Collecting data related to documents and observations is conducted by referring to relevant instruments to measure the effectiveness and feasibility of the Higher Education curriculum. Data analysis was adjusted to the type of instrument, namely 1) the data collection instruments were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, 2) the value of learning outcomes was analyzed descriptively quantitative and the average difference test, 3) the observation instrument of the lecturing process was analyzed descriptively quantitative, 4) the questionnaire was analyzed descriptively quantitative. The results of the study are: 1) curriculum of SN-Dikti in Biology Education Department is effective, and 2) The implementation of SN-Dikti Curriculum in Biology Education Department is very good.Keywords: Effectiveness, Curriculum, Biology Education

Abstract

This study aimed at describing the effectiveness of student worksheet with an approach of project-based learning for the conventional biotechnology subject to train high school students with bioentrepreneurship skills. This study used instructional development method initiated by Fenrich through several steps: analysis, planning, designing, developing, implementation, evaluation, and revision. The experiment was conducted to 20 students at the twelfth grade in the Islamic Boarding School of A. Wahid Hasyim Jombang. The effectiveness of the project-based learning was 9.7% out of 100%. Students’ response was 90.0% on the values of Islamic boarding school or pesantren which become the indicator of having the bioentrepreneuship skills based on the summary of Adabul ‘Alim Wal Muta’allim kitab (hard work, responsibility, tolerance/tasamuh). Also, the completion of entrepreneurship project was 89.55%. These results show that the student worksheet is effective.

Abstract

Based on the results of the interviews, it was found that science teachers in Nganjuk Regency did not understand and master the skills of analyzing, especially with Biology material so that there was a need for training to practice analytical skills through optimizing learning. This training activity aimed to develop analytical skills through optimizing the learning process. This training activity involved 10 junior high school teachers who are members of  the Science Subject Teacher Association (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran/MGMP) of Nganjuk  Regency. The method used was observation and data were analyzed in descriptive qualitative. The implementation of the activities were divided into three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages and feedback, as well as participant responses. The results of the responses based on the questionnaire were positive with a score of 3.82, very good training material at 3.82, and very good training conditions with a score of 3.84. There was an increase in the learning analysis skills of MGMP participants with a percentage of 82.40%.

Abstract

An ethnobotanical study in the Sumenep regency of Madura island has been carried out by observing nine locations, including the historical-religious tourism area and sacred places. This article described plant diversity, use value associated with local knowledge, and socio-cultural value associated with local wisdom. Totally 35 respondents were interviewed consist of primary respondents from each research area and typical respondents. Totally 31 plant species were found in study sites, covering cultivated and socio-cultural plants. Plant diversity was related to role of the location where they took place. Sumenep Palace, the main tourism area located in the center of town, reached the highest diversity of two socio-cultural and 18 cultivated plants as its domestication efforts to attract visitors. Ficus benjamina had the highest socio-cultural values as a usual dwelling for spirits and used to place some offerings, accelerate fortune and specific occasions. The local wisdom of Sumenep people directly related to how these plants can provide benefits, such as Manilkara kauki and Morinda citrifolia which were valuable as socio-cultural plants and fruit trees at once. Ficus benjamina which were valuable as socio-cultural plants related to local wisdom indirectly.

Abstract

Miskonsepsi merupakan perbedaan definisi konsep yang dipahami oleh siswa dengan definisi konsep yang telah disepakati ahli.Miskonsepsi terjadi pada materi yang memuat banyak konsep, salah satunya yaitu materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Miskonsepsi harus segera ditangani karena dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan konsep lain. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan dan faktor penyebabnya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan tahapan membuat instrumen three tier test, melakukan uji coba soal pada siswa dan guru, dan melakukan kegiatan wawancara. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan tabel kriteriathree tier test dan dilanjutkan penarikan kesimpulan. Sasaranpenelitian ini siswa SMAN 1 Porong kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2 sebanyak 70 siswa dan guru biologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa mengalami miskonsepsi dengan persentase sebesar 60.72%, siswa paham konsep sebesar 32.00% dan siswa tidak memahami konsep sebesar 7.28%. Miskonsepsi tertinggi terjadi pada konsep ciri jaringan parenkim pada berkas pembuluh dan ciri jaringan kolenkimsebesar 90%.Miskonsepsi terendah terjadi pada konsep ciri parenkim palisade sebesar 7.14%. Faktor penyebab miskonsepsi terdiri dari siswa, guru, cara mengajar, buku teks, dan konteks. Kata Kunci: miskonsepsi, three tier test, struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan

Abstract

Flipbook is one of media-based e-Book designed with a software application-shaped book that containing the intended content, such as pages and can be well-thumbed. Media development  e-Book with flipbook-based is one of supporting learning in the curriculum of 2013 on Biology material Base Competence of 3.3. Analyzing the relationship between the structure of the cells in tissue of the organ functions in plants and 4.3. Presenting data on observations of the structure of tissues and organs in plants. The purpose of this study was to develop electronic textbook (e-Book) flipbook-based of the material tissue structure and function of plant organs as well as to describe the validity and practicality. The stages of the development e-Book reference to development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluations). The validity obtained based on the validation expert lecturer material and expert lecturer media. The practicality obtained from readability of e-Book flipbook-based and students' response. The results of the validation media showed the average value based on component of content, component of the presentation, and linguistic component was 4 with the valid criteria. The practicality of e-Book flipbook-based on readability showed that e-Book fit for student in 11th grades and students' response showed the average value was 98.33%. The overall results of the study concluded that e-Book flipbook-based suitable for use as a learning medium in supporting learning tissue structure and function of plant organs material for eleventh high school students. Abstract

Buku  ajar  adalah  bahan  ajar  yang  digunakan  dalam  proses  pembelajaran  yang  memudahkan  peserta  didik  untukmemahami  materi  pelajaran.  Materi  perubahan  lingkungan  mempelajari  mengenai  lingkungan  sekitar.  Collaborativelearning merupakan model pembelajaran yang didalamnya memuat kegiatan berkolaborasi/berkelompok dengan tahapan-tahapan antara lain engagement, exploration, transformation, presentation dan reflection yang menekankan pada kegiataneksplorasi  peserta  didik.  Sedangkan  literasi  sains  merupakan  kemampuan  peserta  didik  dalam  menggunakan  ilmupengetahuannya  untuk  memecahkan  permasalahan di  lingkungan  sekitar.  Penelitian  ini bertujuan  untuk  mendeskripsikankelayakan  teoretis  buku  ajar  materi  perubahan  lingkungan  berbasis  collaborative  learning.  Penelitian  ini  menggunakanmodel  pengembangan  4D  yakni  define,  design,  develop  dan  disseminate,  namun  tanpa  tahap  disseminate.  Teknikpengambilan  data  dilakukan  menggunakan  metode  validasi  terhadap  tiga  validator  diantaranya  dosen  ahli  materi,  dosenahli  pendidikan  dan  guru  biologi  SMA.  Teknik  analisis  data  dilakukan  dengan  analisis  deskriptif  kuantitatif.  Buku  ajaryang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat melatihkan literasi sains peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh  jumlah skor rata-rata  keseluruhan  validitas  3,93  dengan  persentase  sebesar  98,25%  yang  menunjukkan  buku  ajar  yang  dikembangkansangat valid.Kata Kunci: kelayakan teoretis buku ajar, perubahan lingkungan, collaborative learning, literasi sains.

Abstract

Abstract Science process skills are thinking skills in problem solving and planning research in order to gather scientific information. Therefore this research will train basic science process skills, namely the skills of observing, classifying, predicting and asking questions as well as for means of identifying plants.The purpose of this study were to produce the Plantae Atlas for the means of plant identification, to train basic science process skills and to describe the validity of theoretical and empirical feasibility. This research trained the basic science process skills how to observe, classify, predict and ask a question. This developmental research produced the Plantae Atlas that were limited tested at SMAN 19 Surabaya with a total of 15 students of class X MIA 4. Data collection in this study used validation, observation and questionnaires methods. The results of this study indicated that the theoretical feasibility of validation was 93% which was categorized as very feasible. The empirical feasibility reached a score of 92% which was categorized as very good. Student response positively by 98% which was categorized as very feasible.
