Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penerimaan siswa baru pada SMKN 4 Pekanbaru masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan mengunakan metode AHP dan metode SAW. Studi ini bertujuann untuk memudahkan sesorang dalam melakukan penerimaan siswa baru pada setiap instansi atau sekolah masingmasing.Masalah tersebut juga berdampak pada siswa yang tidak diterima. Tujuan peneliti adalah untuk memudahkan panitia penerimaan siswa baru di SMKN 4 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode AHP yang berfungsi untuk menghitung kriteria pembobotan terkait dengan akademis dan metode SAW digunakan untuk menghitung pembobotan serta kriteria dari beberapa kuesioner. Dari penelitian ini ditentukan adanya beberapa siswa dengan nilai yang diperoleh dalam penerimaan siswa baru yaitu nilai tertinggi yaitu 9,85 dan terendah 6,23.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the Forming Factors of Business Interest of Students in the Department of Light Vehicle Engineering at Vocational High School 2 Payakumbuh based on the internal factors: (1) Education, (2) Personality, (3) Motivation, (4) Experience, (5) Knowledge, (6) Opportunities, (7) Commitment, (8) Discipline, and (9) Leadership. This type of study was quantitative descriptive. The study population was all TKR Department students in the academic year 2019/2020 consisting of 110 students. Then, there were 85 students as samples, using the Slovin formula with a precision of 5%. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis and confirmatory analysis for hypothesis testing. Confirmatory analysis there are 9 independent variables analyzed through Anti Image Matrix Analysis, from the results of the research trial there are 2 variables: Education and Knowledge have MSA scores that do not meet the requirements: 0.338 <0.500 and 0.353 <0.500 so only 7 variables for further analysis. In the analysis of communilities there are 3 variables which have values ​​below 0.500, namely Personality: 0.477, Experience: 0.306 and Commitment: 0.475, then this variable is discarded. The results of the analysis of the research trials formed a factor group of 3.128 which means that the factor was able to explain 78.2% of the 4 variables, and 21.8% of the other variables. It can be concluded that there are 4 variables: motivation, opportunity, discipline, and leadership which are the most dominant factors.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain valid, practical, and effective problem-based electronic learning media on the computer and basic network subjects. Problem-based electronic learning media is designed to be able to improve student understanding and activities so as to improve learning outcomes. This research uses Research and Development (R and D) research method with 4-D development procedures (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of problem-based electronic learning media. The results obtained from this development research: (1) the validity of problem-based electronic learning media is declared validly on media aspects and material aspects (2) the practicality of problem-based electronic learning media based on teacher and student responses is declared very practically (3) the effectiveness of learning media Problem-based electronics are declared effective in improving learning outcomes and learning motivation. Based on the findings of this study concluded that the problem-based electronic learning media is declared validly, practical and effective to be used as teaching materials in the Computer and Basic Network subjects

Abstract

Based on interviews at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh in 2021, obtained from 25 students, 4 people did not pass the skills test in the subject of building utility systems, with an average knowledge score of 79.2 and an average skill score of 78.4 One of the factors is the inadequate infrastructure in carrying out the learning process, especially practicum learning. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the learning process of building utility system subjects in the Construction and Property Engineering Expertise Program using the CIPPO model at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh City. This research is an evaluation research using the CIPPO model, namely the evaluation of the context, input, process, product and outcome. The type of research is a mixed method with Concurrent Triangulation Strategy. Sources of qualitative data were obtained from the Principal, Deputy Principal of the School of Facilities and Infrastructure, Head of the Construction and Property Engineering Expertise Program, Head of Lab and 5. Teachers who teach building utility systems at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Quantitative data were taken from 40 students of class XII and XIII. The results showed that the context component was in the sufficient category (73.59%), the Input component was in the sufficient category (75.69%), the process component was in the sufficient category (72.01%), the Product component was in the sufficient category (66.5 %), and the outcome component is also in the sufficient category (73.25%). Because all components are in the sufficient category, it is recommended to make appropriate improvements to improve student achievement abilities in the subject of building utility systems in the Construction and Property Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to apply adaptive and engaging e-learning media for students who take e-learning courses, and see how the results of learning styles and learning activities while using these media in the learning process. The research method used was an experiment. The instrument uses a learning style questionnaire and an observation sheet of e-learning activities. The findings in the experimental class students have varied learning styles such as visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles, from these results the kinesthetic learning styles are classified as higher, and the results of learning activities with a percentage of 73.75% are good categories. The results of the learning activities of the control class students with a percentage of 63.28% both categories. In conclusion, students use adaptive media egangging e-learning where the kinesthetic learning style is more domainic, and the results of student learning activities are higher than the results of activities using conventional e-learning media. The renewal of these findings contributes differently to previous online learning, because through adaptive and engaging e-learning media students are able to learn online according to their learning styles such as visual, kinesthetic and auditory learning styles on the website and accompanied by online learning activities.

Abstract

Vocational High School aims to be able to prepare creative learners, master the science and technology, and have competence in accordance with the demands of the world of work. The quality of SMK graduates is not only determined by individual self-sufficiency factors, but the task is determined by outside tactics, one of which is the education that can prepare the graduates of the two demands for work. Science Program for Communities (IbM) aims to provide automotive technology training for teachers and students of SMK Negeri and Swasta in Solok district, IbM activities. The Vocational Competence Enhancement of Automotive Technology for Teachers and Students of SMK, it can increase knowledge and skills of trainers 13.88% in the the major, Automotive Technology.

Abstract

Kepulauan Mentawai merupakan salah satu daerah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan, terluar) di Indonesia. Semua hal berpotensi menjadi kendala bagi penduduk yang tinggal di daerah 3T. Mulai dari transportasi, administrasi, akses informasi, ekonomi, kesehatan dan tidak terkecuali pendidikan. Kompleksitas permasalahan di daerah 3T seringkali berdampak buruk terhadap kualitas pendidikan, seperti ketersediaan sarana/prasarana, keterbatasan akses informasi, kualitas SDM, rendahnya budaya belajar dan bahkan ketersediaan tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas juga sulit ditemukan.Berdasarkan permasalahan sekolah calon mitra yang kami temui di lapangan, tim pengusul proposal pengabdian masyarakat merasa terpanggil untuk melakukan kegiatan PKM di SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai. Kegiatan PKM dirancang menhasilkan sebuah simulator system pengapian sepeda motor. Simulator system pengapian dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam PBM di SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai, selain itu tim pengabdi juga menargetkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dan siswa Jurusan TSM SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai melalui proses pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka di kelas dan praktik di workshop.Dari hasil evaluasi pada fase post test diperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan dan kompetensi siswa terkait materi trouble shooting system pengapian sebesar 12-16%. Pengusul yakin jika metode praktik ini mampu dipertahankan maka akan sangat berdampak terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah University as an educational institution under the auspices of the Muhammadiyah union has a central role in creating the quality of students excel in the world of education. Among academics a structured system of education (teaching and learning process) becomes inseparable. The implementation of e-learning method seems to be a necessity in the massive 4.0 era of information technology. The purpose of this research is to know the standardization of the application of e-learning methods at muhammadiyah university in Sumatra through a media portal that is often called SIAK or (academic information system) for Hidology courses that will be found by civil engineering students in semester 3 and will be continued in hydraulics courses in semesters 4 and 5. The research method used in the form of meta-analysis method where the research was conducted using the results of previous research to produce conclusions with qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study is the media of e-learning implementation in accordance with scorm standardization, namely Schoology and e-learning portal. This indicates that Muhammadiyah University in Sumatra has been maximized in the application of standardization of e-learning concept in each course and accumulated in each material.

Abstract

The Hipgampra farmer group has Gambir farming land. The problems that occur in this farmer group have not had a press tool, usually, this farmer group rents gambir leaf processing equipment privately and must pay rent wages which are worth one-third of the proceeds of the sale. Through this service activity, the team wanted to overcome the problem by giving a press tool to process gambir leaves. The purpose of the implementation of this service activity is to provide a solution to the problems faced by gambier women in the process of pressing gambier leaves. The method of applying science and technology carried out in this activity is to provide introductory theories, demonstrations, and practices. The introductory theory is applicable, namely the introduction of tools, how to use them, their functions and application applications in the field. The realization of service to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Sutera Pesisir Selatan Subdistrict was held on October 6, 2018. The equipment that was handed over to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Subdistrict, Sutera in the form of a unit of a Gambir leaf impact system. Application of appropriate technology that is applied to gambir leaf processing must be adjusted to the productivity of harvested gambier leaves. The number of gambir leaves that can be harvested by gambier farmers will adjust the capacity of the gambir leaf press to be processed. The tool that is devoted to the community has a forging foundation that functions as a place for gambir leaves to be pressed and has a jack stand that will press the gambir leaves to the foundation so that the sap of gambier will come out.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar, kontribusi Internal Locus of Controll  terhadap hasil belajar, serta kontribusi sumber belajar dan Internal Locus of Controll  secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar.  Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional, populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas XI di SMK sebanyak 77. Penelitian ini menetapkan kelas XI TBSM 1 dan kelas  XI TBSM 2 sebagai sampel yaitu sebanyak 51 orang siswa, dan kelas Uji coba kelas XI TBSM 3. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner menggunakan Skala Likert, teknik analisis data diantaranya regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internal  locus of controll berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 33,41%; sumber belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 31,36% serta  sumber belajar dan internal  locus of controll berkontribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 40,83%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sumber belajar dan internal  locus of controll secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran simulasi komunikasi digital di SMK.
