Abstract

Nilai persatuan merupakan salah satu nilai penting yang harus diterapkan oleh seluruh masyarakat agar terciptanya kemakmuran bangsa dan negara Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai persatuan pada anak sejak dini, agar implementasi nilai persatuan dapat diwujudkan dengan minimnya konflik antar kelompok masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai persatuan pada anak usia dini di daerah transmigran, Dsn. Sri Mulyo, Ds. Pematang Kolim, Kec. Pelawan, Kab. Sarolangun, Jambi. Menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Selanjutnya teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan diantaranya observasi, wawancara dengan orang tua, anak, dan tokoh masyarakat yang ada, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, masih kurang sesuainya peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai persatuan pada anak terutama di daerah transmigran, seperti halnya peran sebagai pendidik, pengasuh, motivator, dan model bagi anak.

Abstract

The study is aimed at developing an assessment model of Islamic religion teacher personality competence consisting of: (1) instrument constructs; (2) instrument characteristics; and (3) assessment characteristics. The method implemented in the study was  research and development, developed by Borg Gall. The instrument validation was conducted by experts through expert judgement continued by means of V-Aiken formula. The first experiment of the instrument involved 50 Islam religion education teachers, 50 non-Islamic religion education teachers and 50 students. The results from the first experiment were analyzed by means of EFA in order to prove the validity of the instrument construct. The second experiment of the instrument involved 200 Islamic religion education teachers, 200 non-Islamic religion education teachers and 200 students. The results of the second experiment were analyzed by means of CFA in order to prove the validity of the instrument constructs. The results of the study showed that: (1) the instrument construct of teacher personality consisted of the al-‘Iffah, al-Syaja’ah, al-Hikmah and al-‘Adalah dimensions; (2) the characteristics of all instrument items had the loading factor of 0.3 and the reliability of all instruments was 0.7. The results of the CFA analysis showed that there was a compatibility between the model and the empirical data (Chi-Square (x2) = 176.66, p-value = 0.21974, RMSEA = 0.021 and GFI = 0.92); and (3) the assessment guidelines were effective and good.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing the character of a nation. Education is not only implemented in formal education institutions, but also in the family and amongst the community. This study aims to describe the three-center education strategy in Indonesia for strengthening character education in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, and to obtain an overview of the feasibility of infrastructure in schools that support the implementation of strengthening character education appropriately through this strategy. This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in three junior high schools (SMP) that were piloted for the strengthening of character education in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research subjects included the students, teachers, education personnel, parents of students, and community leaders. Data collection used interviews, observations, documentation, and a focus group discussion (FGD). Data analysis was performed with the interactive technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the strengthening of character education in schools in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 is carried out well through the strategy of three education centers. Three state junior high schools in Bantul, Yogyakarta, namely SMPN 1 Bantul, SMPN 1 Sewon, and SMPN 1 Pandak, have implemented character strengthening for students using the strategy of three education centers appropriately. In general, the support for the facilities and infrastructure for the strengthening character education programs is sufficient, allowing the character education strengthening program to run well.

Abstract

Diversity in Indonesia creates conflict and social inequality. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that can build diversity. This study aims to analyze the development of multicultural citizenship. This study uses a qualitative research design and incredibly descriptive phenomenological research. The data sources in this study were the head of the Islamic boarding school, the citizenship teacher, and the scout coach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. In addition, the data validity technique uses triangulation. Data analysis used Miles & Huberman qualitative analysis technique. The results of this study are the pesantren culture in fostering the character of multicultural citizenship. Namely, students must obey the rules, wear the same uniform as a symbol of equality among students, and Islamic boarding schools provide several extracurricular activities to maximize student activities. It is concluded that the development of multicultural citizenship character is carried out by Civics teachers who are involved in the use of learning models, approaches, and examples through pesantren culture such as pesantren and school rules, routine activities, role models, and extracurricular programs. Through extracurricular scouts in the form of scouting rules, routine activities, and examples.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek adalah pembelajaran inovatif yang berpusat pada siswa dan memberi kesempatan otonom kepada siswa untuk mengkonstruk sendiri belajarnya. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif,  penelitian dengan pendekatan meta analisis yaitu menghitung rerata dengan Efek size. Pertama, merumuskan masalah penelitian, kemudian dilanjutkan ke mengeksplorasi penelitian yang relevan, Sampel penelitian sebanyak 35 publikasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis bias publikasi dengan trim dan mengisi metode dengan prosedur analisis perhitungan ukuran efek, uji heterogenitas, analisis forest plot dan analisis publikasi yang bias. Hasil penelitian dengan korelasi rank sebesar 0.012 dengan p-value (0,933) > (0,05), sedangkan metode regresi adalah 0,134 dengan p-value (0,893) > (0,05), artinya tidak ada bias publikasi yang ditemukan. Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek; hasil belajar IPA; meta analisis. ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the effect of project-based learning on science learning outcomes. Project-based learning is innovative student-centered learning and provides students with autonomous opportunities to shape their own learning. This research includes quantitative research, and research using a meta-analysis approach, namely calculating the mean with effect size. First, formulate a research problem, and then move on to examining relevant research. The research sample includes 35 publications. The data analysis technique used publication bias analysis using the trim-and-fill method with effect size calculation analysis procedures, heterogeneity test, forest plot analysis, and publication bias analysis. The results of the study with a rank correlation of 0.012 with a p-value (0.933) > (0.05) while the regression method was 0.134 with a p-value (0.893) > (0.05) means no publication bias found becameKeywords: project-based learning; science learning outcomes; meta-analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of the role of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to build the defense of Indonesian Muslims in the era of society 5.0. Pesantren which is one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia has several main characteristics such as the existence of cottages, mosques, santri (student), ustaz (teacher), kiai, and the yellow book learning. This research is a qualitative research in the form of library research with content analysis method. Sources of data are in the form of several manuscripts, both books and scientific journal articles containing relevant studies to various efforts to strengthen the role of pesantren in strengthening Indonesian Muslims in the era of society 5.0. Data analysis was carried out interactively. The results of the study indicate that pesantren is Islamic educational institutions that has quite a lot of goals, roles, and functions in the midst of society in line with the goals, roles, and functions of Islamic education. Pesantren is also an Islamic educational institution that plays an important role in strengthening Indonesian Muslims so that they have defense and resilience in facing various changes and dynamics of life in the era of society 5.0. Important aspects built by pesantren for the defense and resilience of Muslims include religious, character, educational, social, and economic aspects. As a leading Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, pesantren must be able to equip every Muslim in the current era of society 5.0 so that they can maintain their identity as Indonesian people who uphold religious values ​​and human values.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the emergence of various acts of violence in the name of religion, especially Islam, which have disturbed society and the state. One form of acts of violence is based on narrow religious thoughts which ultimately lead to radical actions. This research aims to counter-narrate religious radicalism through mosque-based Islamic education as joint efforts to build inclusive religiosity in Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research in the form of case stury. The location of this study is Batam City, Riau Islands. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and focus group discussion (FGD) techniques and is assisted with documentation. Data analysis uses interactive analysis techniques. The results of the research found a formulation of mosque-based Islamic education in Batam City which was attempted by Islamic leaders and figures who are members of an organization called the Persatuan Muballigh Batam (Batam Muballigh Association), Nahdlatul Ulama, and Muhammadiyah. It is through Islamic education that religious (Islamic) activities in Batam City have been successfully controlled, especially through maximizing the role of the mosque as the center of Islamic education so as to ensure the implementation of moderate and tolerant Islamic teachings. This research also found a counter-narrative formulation of religious radicalism in order to build a civilized and inclusive Muslim society in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education that is transformed by YouTuber MAS in the process of teaching, caring, and caring for the employer's children which is broadcast on the YouTube channel. The formulation of the problem addressed is what character education values are transformed by Markhatin Solikha to his foster children GNV. The research method is a content analysis method that specifically analyzes communication events (CA). The focus of this research analysis is the communication events contained in the video- Markhatin MAS videos on his YouTube channel. The type of data is in the form of conversations or dialogues between caregivers and their foster children which are transcribed in the form of data cards. The unit of analysis is sentences, phrases and/or clauses as well as spoken words and behavior in the video that contain character education values. The main instrument is researchers who focus on observation activities in the form of observing notes. The conclusion of the research results found is the values of character education found are the values of honesty, religion, tolerance, responsibility, independence, creativity.
