Abstract

Analysis of Operating Revenues Peanut Crisp at UD Sari Murni Carangsari Village Petang District of Badung RegencyMicro, small and medium enterprises in Indonesia is growing very rapidly. Crunchy peanut businesses began to flourish in Badung Regency. The magnitude of the difference between the needs and abilities of the crunchy peanut production is a lucrative business opportunity. One of them is UD Sari Murni. The profit analysis is generally used to evaluate the activity of an industrial business in  a particular period. The purpose of this study was to determine the number and the value of sales of crunchy peanut at UD Sari Murni and its profits earned. The period of data used in this study was the data for one year of 2014.The results of the research showed that UD. Sari Murni is classified as small business, labor-intensive and agriculture-based company. The growth of labor of UD Sari Murni in 2010 through 2014 amounted to 1.25% with an average percentage increase in employment amounted to 21.25%. UD Sari Murni has a vision and mission which are the requirements of a company.There are three processes of the crunchy peanut production cycle at UD Sari Murni, namely: the provision of raw materials, production processes and packaging, as well as crunchy peanut sales process. Patterns of production used by UD Sari Murni were a combination of  constant pattern and fluctuated pattern. Profits earned by UD Sari Murni wasRp.242,096,028.33. But there were still technical obstacles i.e. lack of raw materials, labor shortages, and inadequate processing technology,as well as the presence of obstacles in the social aspect, which is associated with religious ceremonies.

Abstract

Utilizationof Owl Innovation (Tyto alba) as Rat Pests Controller (Rattus argentiventer) by Subak Members in Senganan Village, Penebel Sub-District, Tabanan Regency Rat pest control must be carried out in an integrated and sustainable way. One ofthesolution is to use owls because it does not create pollution and damage to rice plant.Pets controlusing an owl is determined by the knowledge and behavior of subakmembers. The purposes of this study is to determine the adoption process and therelated factors in the use of owl as rat pets control of rets. The research locations waslocated in Senganan Village, Penebel Sub-District, Tabanan Regency using 35respondents. The method used study is qualitative descriptive analysis andordinalmeasurement score. The result showed that level of knowing of respondents was in thehigh category with a score of 422. Pespondents’ persceptions were categorized as goodwith a score of 401. Pespondents’ behavior was categorized as very supportive with ascore achievment of 451.Respondents’ attitudesupporting innovation was 91,43%, whilethosewho were doubtful was 8,57%. The process of adopting subak members hasarrived at the confirmation stage. In the confirmation stage, subak members support thesustainability of innovations applied in subak.Factors relatedto the use of innovationaresuperiority of innovation in the economy and social aspects of subak members, thesuitability of innovation with the environment and the needs of subak members, and theease of technical innovation. Although the number of rets in Senganan Village hasdecreased, subak members still need to preserve the existence of owl, especially inquarantine areas.

Abstract

Abstract The Quality Control of Dodol Salak Processing at CV Duta Gunung SalakCV Duta Gunung Salak has implemented a quality control since 2005. In fact, there is damage sallaca paste 2014 with the percentage of damage reaches 14.78%. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation and the quality control system of processing sallaca paste approach control map and the cost of quality. The primary data comes from six respondents from the company. Secondary data were obtained from the literature and documents of the company. Analysis of data derived from descriptive analysis, qualitative, map control, and quality costs. The results showed that the implementation of quality control to meet the standard corporate or BPOM views of good manufacturing practices. The damage occurred in the processing and marketing as much as 14.78% of the total production. Quality control using quality cost that the company has not done well, the real total quality control issued by the company Rp 17,616,655 is greater compared to total quality control of the optimum amount of Rp 14,366,692. Suggested, companies need to be handling the marketing process.

Abstract

Business Feasibility of Tangerine Plantationin the Village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani , the Regency of BangliThe roles of agriculture in the national economic development are asthe driving force of economic growth through the agro-industry, as a provider and developer of the market for the products and services of non-agricultural sectors, as capital accumulation and qualified workforce and as the conservation of natural resources for sustainable development. One of the agricultural commodities that has important and strategic positions are citrus fruits. Data from the Department of P3 (agriculture, horticulture, and forestry) of Bangli Regency in 2014 showed that the total population of citrus crop in Bangli Regency amounted to 4,084,168 trees, within a period of five years from 2009 until 2013, citrus production has fluctuated.One of the tangerine farms in the Province of Bali is located in the village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani, Bangli Regency. Therefore, the study was conductedto analyze the financial feasibility, and obstacles faced in running the tangerine plantation business for 10 years. In the financial feasibility, the aspects discussed include: net present value, net benefit / cost ratio, internal rate of return, payback period and sensitivity analysis that were discussed descriptively and quantitatively. Theresults showed that the tangerine farming business in the village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani, Bangli Regency is feasible to be continued.

Abstract

The Influence of Capital, Amount of Order, and Buying Price on Vegetable Suppliers Income in Baturiti Village, Tabanan District The existence of Vegetable Suppliers in Bali Province has increased and its distribution has reached all regions in Bali. Suppliers’ job is to supply goods for production on time with a good quality.Price determination between suppliers and farmers tends to fluctuate. This situation creates the possibility for improvement or decline of farmers welfare which could be assessed using the Farmer Exchange Rate. The price fluctuation has an effect on the capital that is spent by the suppliers, as well as the purchase price from farmers to fulfil the vegetable demand and orders from various consumers.This study aims to analyze the influence of capital, amount of order, and buying price on the income of vegetable suppliers in Baturiti Village. This study uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 10 vegetable suppliers. For secondary data, this study uses literature, such as books, researches, etc. The data are processed using SPSS and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the analysis, the variables that have a positive and significant effect on income are capital and amount of orders. On the other hand, the purchase variable has a negative and significant effect for the income of vegetable suppliers in Baturiti Village, Tabanan Regency.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing System of Sari Buana Coffee Powder at UD. Mega Jaya Ground coffee is a beverage that is very common and widespread in the surrounding communities. The success of the company to deliver products to consumers will require a merchant supplier, in the form of marketing agencies to quickly get to the consumer product. The role of the marketing agency is required by companies to market their products. This study aims to determine: 1) the marketing of coffee powder Sari Buana marketing at UD. Mega Jaya. 2) the magnitude of marketing margins in each of the agencies involved in each marketing channel. The research was conducted at UD. Mega Jaya, Central Singapadu Village, District Sukawati, Gianyar Regency. Data obtained from the field were analyzed with descriptive methods and analysis of marketing margins. The study found that the marketing of coffee powder in UD. Mega Buana Sari Jaya starts from the manufacturers, marketing agencies, and distribution. UD. Mega Jaya is a producer Sari Buana ground coffee that has multiple functions in the conduct of marketing such products, has a raw material procurement, production, product inventory, production costs, choose a marketing agency, pricing, promotion, delivery, ordering, and well received by the company's risk. Marketing agencies involved in marketing products in the company starting from major retailers and small retailers that distribute products to end customers. So that products marketed to consumers quickly end. Marketing channel consists of four channels, namely: 1) Company - Large - Small Retailer - Consumer. 2) Company - Large Retailer - Consumer. 3) Company - Small Retailer - Consumer. 4) Company - Consumer. Of the channel obtained the highest sales volume at the company's channel I and III. Marketing margins in the channel I is equal Rp.2.500 (5.882%), channel II Rp. 2500 (5882%), channel III Rp. 1000 (2.352%) and Rp IV line. 0 (0%). Judging from the company's product sales volume, the first marketing channel is the channel of the most highest level of sales as compared to other channels. So it is recommended to do further research to determine the most effective channels and profitable for the company and UD. Mega Jaya should be much more to maximize the performance of existing marketing channels by controlling the marketing of all existing institutions. Abstract

Factors Related to the Stages of Farmer Adoption of Rice Transplanter Machine Technology (A Case in Six Subaks in Tabanan Regency) Rice transplanter is a modern machine for planting rice seeds. The provision of the machine is to support the government program. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of adoption and factors related to the adoption of rice transplanter machine. The research locations were in six subaks in Tabanan Regency using 89 respondents. The method used was qualitative descriptive analysis and scoring scale measurement. Based on the research result of adoption stage of rice transplanter machine has reached the implementation stage to be tested. Factors related to technology adoption, namely the nature of innovation that is known to be true as 88.76% of respondents. Farmers' perceptions of the usefulness and benefits of technology are quite good (score 758 including class > 695-909) and perceptions of ease of technology are quite difficult (score 726 including class > 695-909). The target attitude wants to implement and the need for technology is very low (a score of 155 and a score of 143 is included in classes 89-160). The target behavior in accepting innovation was low, only 12.36% of respondents received. For the use of innovation, only 12.36% of respondents used innovation to try.

Abstract

TheRole of Institutional Aspects of Subak in the Context of Land Conversion Control (A Case at Subak Semat, Village of Tibubeneng, Sub-District ofKuta Utara,Regency of Badung)Land conversion phenomenon that occurred in Bali is very high. The great number ofland conversion leads to reduced agricultural land in an irrigation system of Subak. Itwill affect the sustainability of Subak. Subak role in the institutional aspects must beconsidered in controlling land conversion. The purpose of this study was todetermine how the roles of the institutional aspects of water control system in thecontext of land conversion control at Subak Semat, Sub-District of Kuta Utara. Thescope of this research is the institutional role ofSubak as controller of the landconversion. The study examined three indicators, namely regulation, Subak activities,services and facilitation of Subak. The research method was a qualitative descriptivemethod.Based on the research results, judging from the three indicators of research,namely regulation, Subak activities and services and facilitation, institutional role inregulation needs to accommodate the provisions of the ban on land conversion intotraditional rules of awig awig. The role of the institutional aspects of the activities,services and facilitation has been at a good category, each categories was good with ascore 70% and 80%. The provisions of the ban on land conversion into traditionalrules of awig awigSubak is needed with a score 81,17% so that the land conversioncan be controlled. The lack of clear boundaries related to the ban on land conversionwill be the reference for the members of Subak if they want to sell their land. Inaddition, the role of activities, services and facilitation of Subak still need to beimproved to be in much better category.

Abstract

The Correlation between Farmers' Knowledge and Attitudes with the Application of Organic Fertilizer in Coffee Farming at Subak-abian of Wanasari Kenjung , Catur Village, Kintamani Sub-District, Bangli Regency The use of organic fertilizers on many farms has a positive impact, including on coffee farming. Knowledge, attitudes, and application of farmers about good organic fertilizer is the key to the success of coffee farming.This study aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes of farmers and application and their relationship in the use of organic fertilizers in coffee plants in the Subak-abian of Wanasari Kenjung of Catur Village, Kintamani Sub-District, Bangli Regency. Sampling was carried out by Simple Random Sampling method. Data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis and Spearman Rank correlation analysis.Descriptive analysis results show that farmers' knowledge of organic fertilizer is in the good category with a total score of 1,252, while the attitude of farmers is in the category of strongly agreeing with a total score of 1,667, and the application of farmers is in the quite good category with a total score of 876. The results of Spearman Rank correlation analysis show there is a strong relationship between knowledge and attitude with a correlation value of 0.556 **. Knowledge and application also have a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.528 **. There is no relationship between attitude and application with the resulting correlation value of 0,315 with a significant value of 0,062> 0,05.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Study on Implementation of Agro Commodities Auction Market in The Industry and Trade Service of The Province of Bali In the marketing of agricultural products, the most common problem was the gap of unfair of price that accepted by producer farmers by prices paid by the final consumer. Various reasons that lead to margin of trading system, that are weak bargaining position of farmers, farmers tend subject to the buyer rule, the cost of transport from production centers to the end of consumer market. Work program in the Industry and Trade service of the Province of Bali was conduct activity of agro commodities auction market, which is one of medium to aid to facilitate the meeting of buyers and sellers directly. The aim of this study was to find out the implementation of agro commodities auction market conducted by the Industry and Trade service as well as the constraints in conduct activity of the agro commodity auction market. Locations of study were selected by purposive sampling. Data collected by the method of observation, in-depth interviews and documentary study. Data have been analyzed descriptively. The results of study showed that the performance of auction market not yet to show maximum results. Levels of productivity were very high fluctuation for each implementation.  Problems of fail to deliver and fail to pay occur estimated very low integrity and credible participants, the constraints in the implementation of agro commodity auction market was weak underwriting system, uncertain membership, the formulation of quality standards, as well as the types of commodities that enter the auction market. Implication of important policy will be done by formulate quality standards, priorities of traded commodity, and maximize the role of private sector.
