Abstract

The purpose of this research were: (1) to examine the existing local wisdom that still exist in thecultivation of rice field in Tebing Tinggi Village, Benai Sub-district of Kuantan SingingiDistrict and (2) to observe the level of importance and the level of local farmer's wisdom in ricefield cultivation in the Village Tebing Tinggi Sub District of Benai Kuantan Singingi District.The sample were 30 respondents from Tebing Tinggi Village. Sampling technique used wasSnowball Sampling. The data analysis was conducted descriptively and then converted to LikertScale's Summated Rating (SLR) and Cartesian Diagram. The results show that there are 60 localwisdom conducted by rice farmers in Tebing Tinggi Village, consisting of 30 wisdom that onceexisted but not maintained, 29 wisdom that once existed and still maintained, and one newwisdom and still maintained. Based on the results of the level of importance and strength oflocal wisdom of rice farmers are located in Quadrant II which means the level of importanceand strength of the wisdom are above average (high).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the revenue of broiler breeders a pattern partnership contract farmingmodel in plasma breeders of PT. Mitra Anugrah Satwa (MAS) which is in Kampar Kiri Tengah District Kampar Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. The Samples in this research using random sampling. The number of respondents is 5people. The results of this research showed that the average income of the breeders and the efficiency of on-farm business in plasma breeders PT. Mitra Anugrah Satwais profitable and feasible to be developed, it is seen from the acquisition value of R/C R ≥ 1. The mean earningplasma breeders of PT. Mitra Anugrah Satwaisequal to Rp.14.415.224,64/period with acquirement of mean of R/CRis 1.09.

Abstract

This research aims to study the implementation of agricultural extension, analyze the level of professional competence and study the problems of agricultural extension education in improving the competency of agricultural extension in the Kampar Regency. Implementation of education in the Kampar Regency has been running with good views of the elements that influence the extension of agricultural extension, targeted outreach, media outreach, extension materials, time extension, the extension, facilities and infrastructure. The level of professional competence in the district agricultural extension Kampar obtained a score of 4.16 with a competent category. It can be seen from the sub-variables: the competent administrative competence with a score of 4,08, a very competent program planning very competence with a score of 4.47, the competence of the program with a score of 4.27 very competent, very competent teaching competence with a score 4.24, competency competent communication with a score of 4.12, competence competent understanding of human behavior with a score of 3.88, maintaining professionalism competent with scores of 3.61; very competent and competency evaluation with a score of 4.60. Problems counseling in improving the competence of extension are: labor limited extension, which extension should receive extension target area build the village and lack of media consumption extension of information that is required to develop professionalism.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) analyze the disbursement of credit fund from RuralAgribusiness Development micro finance (PUAP) and 2) to analyze the effectiveness ofloan repayment from group of farmers (Gapoktan) in Kuala Nenas village District ofTambang, Kampar Regency. This research was carried out for 3 months from Octoberuntil December 2010. This research found that the credit fund was distributedappropriately to eligible farmers. Abstract

Perkembangan perekonomian Indonesia mengalami ketidakseimbangan karena perbedaan antara miskin dan kaya. Salah satu kebijakan pemerintah dalam pembangunan ekonomi lebih diarahkan kepada terbentuknya demokrasi ekonomi. Unit usaha yang diharapkan mampu menggerakkan perekonomian Indonesia, khususnya perekonomian pedesaan adalah koperasi unit desa. Siklus tanaman pada umumnya akan mengalami penurunan produksi setelah melebihi batas umur tertentu, maka strategi yang baik yaitu melakukan peremajaan. Koperasi Unit Desa Marga Bhakti membantu anggota melakukan peremajaan kelapa sawit. Anggota memiliki harapan yang tinggi mempertahankan kualitas kebun setelah dilakukan peremajaan, tetapi terhambat oleh biaya yang dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kendala yang menghadapi dalam memenuhi persyaratan dari peremajaan kelapa sawit. Metode penelitian studi kasus, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah anggota koperasi yang ikut peremajaan kelapa sawit pada tahun 2019 berjumlah 30 responden. Analisis deskriptif untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa anggota koperasi tidak terdapat kendala dalam memenuhi persyaratan dari peremajaan kelapa sawit, karena anggota koperasi cukup berasal dari penduduk asli desa, memiliki KTP dan KK yang sesuai dengan alamat tempat tinggal, memiliki sertifikat tanah yaitu sertifikat hak milik dan anggota mengurus pembukaan buku rekening pribadi. Sedangkan syarat STD-B dan CPCL anggota dibantu oleh koperasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of motivation and satisfaction to the performance of broilers involved in contract farming and to analyze the influence of motivation and satisfaction on the performance of broiler farmers in contract farming partnerships. This study uses primary and secondary data. Secondary data was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and primary data was collected by questionnaire to 40 respondents using convenience sampling techniques. Then the data is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The validity and reliability of the data was tested using SPSS 23. Quantitative data is the interpretation of the likert scale and the interpretation of multiple linear regressions with SPSS 23 include: coefficient of determination, test F and test T. For motivation variables obtained an average score of 3.19 which indicates that farmers feel quite motivated in collaboration with the core company. On the variable satisfaction has an average score of 3.59 indicates that the farmer is satisfied during partnering. On the performance variable the score value is 3.18 indicating that the farmer has a pretty good relationship with the company. Multiple regression results showed that the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.648, meaning 64.8 percent of motivation and satisfaction variables significantly affected the performance of broiler chicken breeders, while the remaining 35.2 percent were influenced by other variables outside the equation model.

Abstract

Extension Institution is a government agency and or community has the duty and the function of organizing counseling. This study aims describe the institutional model of extension in the province of Riau. This research is a descriptive study conducted in Kampar and Kuantan Singingi District at Riau Province in May-November 2015. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through a structured interview method using questionnaires and focus group discussion. Samples in this study was the head of the work unit, coordinator of outreach and extension. The sample selected by purposive sampling method. Implementation of agricultural extension in Kampar regency is under Badan Pelaksana Penyuluhan dan Ketahanan Pangan (BPPKP). While in Kuantan Singingi, carried out by dinas tanaman pangan, dinas perkebunan, dinas perikanan, dinas peternakan and dinas kehutanan. The model of agricultural extension at Kampar Regency with polivalent and at Kuantan Singingi with monovalent extension.

Abstract

This research uses secondary data and primary data, secondary data obtained from the central statistical agency, primary data obtained by direct interview using the questionnaire. Retrieval method using convenience sampling technique. Qualitative data analysis is Likert-scale interpretation and multiple linear regression interpretation with SPSS 23 include: coefficient of determination, F test, and t test. Likert scale results in the motivation variable showed a score of 3.69, this shows that breeders feel motivated in partnering. The value of satisfaction score is 3.71 which means in partnership of breeders included in the category of satisfaction. As for the performance variables obtained average score is 3.15 indicates that the breeder is in the category well enough in doing business. Multiple linear regression results show that the coefficient of determination is 0.623, meaning that 62.3 percent of performance is influenced by motivation and satisfaction variables, while the remaining 37.7 percent is influenced by other variables outside the equation model.

Abstract

This study uses secondary data and primary data, secondary data obtained from the central statistical agency, the primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents using convenience sampling technique. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative, qualitative data is Likert-scale interpretation and multiple linear regression interpretation with SPSS 23 include: coefficient of determination, F test, and t test. In the motivation variable, Likert scale results show the value of motivation score is 3.69, it shows that breeders feel motivated in partnering. The value of satisfaction score is 3.63 which means in partnership of breeders included in the category of satisfaction. As for the behavioral variables obtained the average score is 3.25 indicates that the breeder is in the category quite capable in doing business. Multiple linear regression results show that the coefficient of determination is 0.742, meaning 74.2 percent of motivation and satisfaction relationships affect the behavior of broiler breeders, while the remaining 25.8 percent is influenced by other variables outside the equation model.

Abstract

Farm yard use is an innovation for farmers, while farmers' perceptions of innovationcharacteristics greatly influence the sustainability of the farm yard. The purpose of thisstudy is to determine the perceptions of farmers about farm yard use in the Kerinci District.The study was done by survey, where interviwed to 30 respondents, used simple randomsampling tecnique. The results showed that the perception of the farmers is very good. Thisis indicated by the number of scores obtained in the amount of 1,381. Judging from therelative advantage by farmers, farming is highly beneficial both in terms of consumptionand in terms of the economy. The farmers also found it is quite suitable for farming on theirland. It can be seen from the results of their production is quite good, the perceived level ofcomplexity is lowest. This is because most of the respondents said that it is not only veryeasy to implement farm yard, but also they have farming experience before joining theprogram.Key word: Farm yard, innovation, perception,
