Abstract

ABSTRACTThe problem in this research is the result of learning biology for students class XI Science SMAN 2 Bayang is still low. The low this learning outcome was due to low student interest towards the subjects of biology, students are still less active as a teacher-centered learning, to overcome these problems, one solution is the application of cooperative learning model Round Robin with a model where the students demanded more active. This study was conducted to determine whether students learning outcomes biology class XI Science SMAN 2 Bayang with cooperative learning model Round Robin is better than the results of biological studies students with conventional learning. This type of research is experimental, with a design that used Randomize Control Only Design. Population in this research is class XI Science SMAN 2 Bayang . Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling technique. Experimental class is class XI IPA1 and control class is class XI IPA2. The instrument used in this study is the final test. Form of objective tests used with option 5. Reliability test is R11 = 0.94. The data analysis technique used is the one party  test. Based on the analysis of the final test results obtained thit = 2,39 and the table = 1,645. so we can conclude the results of biological studies students with cooperative learning model Round robin is better than the results of biological studies with conventional learning students in class XI Science SMAN 2 Imagine the Academic Year 2013/2014 . This means that cooperative learning model Round Robin has a positive effect on learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Cucumber is an annual plant that is pervasive belonging to Cucurbitaceae family are widely used as food , cosmetic and drug industry - abatan . Low productivity and quality of cucumber caused less intensive farming techniques , one of which depends on fertilization and treatments performed . The initial step was  to  produce  healthy  seedlings  with  optimal  growth  is  to  find  a  suitable growing media for planting cucumbers . To find the appropriate planting medium with the plant roots need to combine the organic material and adapted to the type of plant . In connection with that have done research that aims to find a suitable planting medium for the growth of cucumber plants . The research was conducted in the village Kajai , Talamau District , West Pasaman . This type of research is experimental , with a completely randomized design ( CRD ) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications . The treatments were A ( soil as a control ) , B ( garden soil + sand ) , C ( garden soil + manure ) , D ( cow manure + sand ) , E ( garden soil + sand + cow manure ) . The data were analyzed with analysis of variance and followed by LSD test at 5% level . The results showed that the use of a combination  of  growing media  can  increase  the percentage  of  live  seeds  , number of leaves and plant height . The best growth results found on the treatment E.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIn achievement a learning objektives not only be affected by methods used the teacher. But also influenced by the teaching object used in the learning process. For that, we need some development teaching object from of student work sheet which aims to determine the validity and practicality student work sheet developed. This type of research is development with procedural models which aims to produce a product. The product was developed using a three stage from four-D models namely define, design, and develop. The study subject consisted of four validator and 20 students of class XI IPA3 from SMAN 4 Solok Selatan. Research data is the primary data by analizyng the validity and practicality of the developed student work sheet. From this study the object produced student work sheet tissues in plant for SMA class XI first semester. Student work sheet prodeced valid categorized by the validator to the value of 86,83% and categorized by teachers with the practical value of 87,64% and categorized  by the students with the practical value of 87,52%. Thus, it can be concluded that the student work sheet development tissues in plant object for class XI SMA semester 1 had a valid and practical.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Lesson Plan (RPP) is essentially a plan that describes the procedures to achieve a learning organization specific competencies. To find out standardization Lesson Plan (RPP) is to the lesson Plan (RPP) biology class at eleventhSMAN Tanah Datar regency with IPKG-1. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the standardization of RPPand RPP components made by biology teachers ofSMAN semester classes in Tanah Datar.This research is a descriptive study by collecting lesson plans from classroom biology teacher at SMAN Tanah Datar. This sampling technique is Stratifed Random Sampling. The result of analysis we found that the Lesson Plan (RPP) biology class in SMAN Tanah Datar on standard criteria.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             Succes or failure of a teacher in study process influenced by many factor, one of amongs use how the lesson plan (RPP) make or the designed by teacher before study which process this research purpose to know related between indicator with a purpose to study, the purpose of study with material of study and the purpose of study with evaluation of study in lesson plan (RPP) compiled by teacher in the first public high school and Private secondary school in Padang City.Result of research shown in the first public high school criterion relevant between indicator with purpose of study very related equal to 83,12 %, the relevant of purpose of study with material of study very related equal to 90,57%, and relevant between purpose of study with evaluation of study enough related equal to 53,20%. Private secondary school in criterion relevant between indicator with purpose of study very related equal to 89,45%, the relevant of purpose of study with material of study very related equal to 87,06%, and relevant between of purpose of study with evaluation of study enough related equal to 47,61%. The conclusion relevant between indicator with learning purpose, learning purpose with learning material. So relevant, and learning purpose with evaluation is relevant.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is background by the low of outcomes student in biology class VIII of MTsN Lubuk Sikaping and haver minimal competencess of criterion (KKM) yet. The out comes of student are lowered by the teacher make of interesting teaching methods yet. This research intend how the influence of the aplication active learning Quiz Team technical and teaching material for the study outcomes of students is biology at class VIII of MTsN Lubuk Sikaping in periode 2012/2013. This kind of research is an eksperimental which using of the Randomized Control Group postest only design, the populations are all of student at class VIII of MTsN Lubuk Sikaping  in periode of 2012/2013. The sampling by purposive sampling technical a sample he found by class VIII2 as eksperimental class and class VIII3 as control class. The instrument are make is written test in objective question. The data of analysis technical used uji –t by level α 0,05. The outcomes of data analysis  is found a price t hitung 6,18, while t table 1,66. This is t arithmatic > t table. Therefore hiphotesis is accepted that the application of  active learning quiz team technical and teaching material can improve the outcomes of student at class VIII of MTsN Lubuk Sikaping in the study periode 2012/2013.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne task of the teacher is to create learning tools that RPP. RPP is a plan that describes the procedures and learning management to achieve one or more that KD has been described in the syllabus . At SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung and 2 Pulau Punjung lesson plans are identical. This study aims to determine the standardized lesson plans created by teachers of biology in Class XI Semester II in accordance with the standards IPKG-1 which has been developed by Mulyati, etc (2013). This research is a descriptive study. The population in this study is the RPP biology teacher in Class XI SMA Dharmasraya. Sampling techniques in the study was stratified random sampling. Sources of data in this study is the RPP biology teacher in class XI SMA Dharmasraya . The data were processed using percentage techniques. Results of this study revealed that the CSP component analysis completeness subject teacher of biology at SMA in the District Dharmasraya with an average of 55 %. Results of the relationship between indicators of valuation analysis, learning objectives, learning materials, teaching methods, instructional media, learning activities and evaluation of the RPP subject teacher of biology at SMA in the district Dharmasraya with an average of 64 % considered pretty standard. The conclusion that the terms of the completeness of the components RPP Subject teacher of biology at Dharmasraya is 55 % and RPP SMA biology Class XI For Standards in Dharmasraya which 64 % were categorized enough standard.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Learning result in   junior high school biology 2 Painan still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Lack of student learning result is caused by several things, such as lack adequately supported by a conducive classroom situation, so students tend to be noisy and play around when the teacher presents the lesson and less varied media used by teachers in the learning process. This study aimed to comparison the results of biological studies VIII grade students on the material growth and development are taught using interactive media and is taught using picture media. This type of research is experimental, the research design used in this study is the Only Randomized Control Group Posttest Design. This study was conducted in July-August 2013. The population is all students in grade VIII junior high school 2 Painan listed in the school year 2013/2014. Sampling with purposive sampling technique and  obtained VIII3   class as  a class experiment 1 were taught using interactive media and VIII5 class as a class experimental 2 taught by using picture media. The instrument used is in the form of a written test objective. Based on the achievement test scores of biology students, earned an average grade experiment 1 was 75,68 and the average class experiment 2 was 61,95. Data were analyzed using t-test. Of the t-test analysis, obtained t (5,89) > t table (1,68) which means that H1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there are biological differences in learning result of students on the material growth and development by using interactive media and picture media of class VIII Semester 1 Junior High School N 2 Painan Kecamatan IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to know relation of indicator, learning objectives, material and evaluation in lesson plan biology of state and private senior high school teachers in Padang. This research was a descriptive research. The research population was lesson plan that designed by state and private senior high school teachers in Padang teach at first semester of first grade,  academic year 2012/2013 amount sixteen lesson plan of state senior high school and thirty two lesson plan of private senior high school. The result of this research showed teachers lesson plan in completed criteria component of lesson plan which made by teacher state and private senior high school in Padang is 91,15% in good category. Percentage result of relation of indicator, learning objectives, material and evaluation overall is 76% with relation category that good enough.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Lesson plan (RPP) is a plan that describes about learning procedure to achieve the learning goals that determined in contents and standards outlined in the syllabus. However, there are many teachers who does not make a lesson plan (RPP) before learning process and there are still teachers who make a lesson plan from the last semester without adapted with characteristics of students and schools. Relationship with it, has been done analyzes lesson plan (RPP) character at eleventh (XI) grade biology of Senior High School  in distric Solok. The purpose of this research is to see standardization of lesson plan (RPP) made by the teacher of biology at eleventh (XI) grade Senior High Schoolin distric Solok suitable with the standard instrument developed by Mulyati, et.al. The kind of this research is descriptive research with sampling was stratified random sampling. This research showed the completeness of existing components (59%), which does not exist (41%). It can be concluded that lesson plan (RPP) of the teacher biology at Senior High Schoolin distric Solok was fairly standard (64,55%).Â
