Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 2 Bonang Demak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 melalui penerapan Pembelajaran Aktif Kreatif Efetif dan Menyenangkan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII E siswa SMP Negeri 2 Bonang Demak yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa: instrumen keaktifan siswa, instrumen hasil belajar siswa, dan instrumen ketercapaian model PAKEM. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif berupa jumlah skor hasil belajar siswa dan analisis deskriptif hasil PTK siklus I, II dan III. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diperoleh nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan ketercapaian penerapan  model PAKEM  masing-masing  51.25 %, 66 % dan  67.04 % pada siklus I, untuk siklus II yakni 66.25 %, 72 %, dan 73.37 %, sedangkan  siklus III  87.5 %, 88 %, dan 88.14 %. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pada siklus III sudah tercapai ketuntasan aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa dan ketercapaian penerapan model  PAKEM, maka  perbaikan pembelajaran berhenti pada siklus III saja dan tidak perlu dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran siklus berikutnya.

Abstract

Classroom action research this used Learning Starts with a Question model . This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA-4 SMAN 2 Demak in learning physics is lower than other classes. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes class XI IPA SMA N 2 Demak of academic year 2013/2014. The subjects were students of class XI IPA-4 SMA N 2 Demak totaling 40 students, consist of 12 male students and 28 female students.Classroom action research through three cycles of learning. Where each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collected through testing, observation method and documentation method.The results showed this learning by applying Learning Starts with a Question (LSQ) model to improve learning outcome student at each cycle. The conclusion of this research is the application of Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) model to improve learning outcomes student class XI IPA SMA N 2 Demak academic year 2013/2014.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of the concept of students due to the learning activities that are less attractive so that students are less active in responding to material that has been presented by the teacher. Students are less able to solve the existing problems in the questions so that students feel bored and tired that resulted in the concept of understanding is low. It takes a model of learning and appropriate learning media that can enhance students' understanding of concepts so that students interested in learning and play an active role in learning.This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning model of audio-visual assisted towards understanding the concept student of class X SMA N 6 Semarang school year 2014/2015. The study design used is pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of class X MIA SMA N 6 Semarang. Sampling using cluster random sampling. The study sample was taken two pieces of class, a class X MIA 4 as class experiments using problem-based learning models assistance audio-visual and class X MIA 6 as the control class using a model of problem based learning without audio-visual assisted.Analysis of the early stages of using the value of midterms showed that both classes normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the results of the  test analysis right on the experimental class and control class that is  = 2.15>  = 1.67 so that  is rejected. While the gain obtained from test analysis < > experimental class by 0.613 and < > 0.596 the control class is the second class to increase understanding of the concept of the category of being. From the above results it can be concluded that the model of problem-based learning-assisted audio visual effect on student’s understanding the concept of class X SMAN 6 Semarang school year 2014/2015.
