Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dengan metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recrite, Review) materi aritmatika sosial yang memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi matematis. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi untuk menilai kevalidan silabus, RPP dan LKPD serta angket respon peserta didik untuk menilai kepraktisan LKPD. Hasil analisis data validasi silabus,RPP dan LKPD mencapai kategori sangat valid. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dinyatakan valid selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba kelompok kecil. LKPD yang diujicobakan mencapai kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian silabus, RPP yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi syarat valid dan LKPD sudah memenuhi syarat valid dan syarat praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matakuliah Matematika Dasar. Bahan ajar Matematika dasar yang dikembangkan terdiri atas (1) Fungsi Riil, (2) Turunan dan Penggunaan, (3) Integral dan Penggunaan, (4) Fungsi Transenden, dan (5) Teknik Pengintegralan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan modifikasi model 4-D. Terdapat empat tahap dalam penelitian pengembangan ini yang meliputi (1) pendefinisian, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar Matematika Dasar yang telah dikembangkan adalah valid dan layak digunakan dalam perkuliahan Matematika Dasar pada mahasiswa jurusan PMIPA FKIP Universitas Riau.

Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis (KPMM) sangat penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun berdasarkan PISA 2018, penelitian terdahulu serta hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih memiliki KPMM yang rendah. Rendahnya KPMM siswa dikarenakan matematika yang bersifat abstrak. Media pembelajaran dapat membuat sesuatu yang abstrak menjadi lebih konkrit serta penggunaan pendekatan scientific dapat memfasilitasi KPMM siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis pendekatan scientific berbantu Articulate Storyline 3 materi garis dan sudut untuk memfasilitasi KPMM siswa SMP/MTs yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan Model Pengembangan yaitu Model 4D. Penelitian ini melibatkan 21 siswa kelas VIII SMP di Kota Duri. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kevalidan dan data kepraktisan. Data kevalidan diperoleh dari angket validasi yang diserahkan kepada para ahli atau validator. Data kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket respon siswa yang disebar kepada responden. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh persentase rata-rata validasi aspek media bernilai 97,21 (sangat valid), aspek materi 97,07 (sangat valid), aspek pendekatan scientific 92,08 (sangat valid) dan aspek KPMM 95,22 (sangat valid). Hasil kepraktisan pada small group test bernilai 90,43 (sangat praktis) dan pada field test sebesar 83,96 (praktis). Dari hasil penilaian ahli, small group test dan field test disimpulkan media pembelajaran matematika yang dihasilkan valid dan praktis.AbstractMathematical Problem Solving Ability (KPMM) is very important in learning mathematics. However, based on PISA 2018, previous research and the results of the questionnaire showed that students still had low CAR. The low KPMM of students is caused by abstract mathematics. Learning media can make something abstract more concrete and the use of a scientific approach can facilitate students' KPMM. This study aims to produce mathematics learning media based on a scientific approach assisted by Articulate Storyline 3 material on lines and angles to facilitate valid and practical KPMM for SMP/MTs students. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the Development Model, namely the 4D Model. This research involved 21 students of grade 8 SMPS in Duri City. The data collected in this study are validity data and practicality data. Validity data was obtained from validation questionnaires submitted to experts or validators. Practicality data was obtained from student response questionnaires which were distributed to respondents. Based on data analysis, it was obtained that the average percentage of the media aspect validation was 97.21 (very valid), the material aspect was 97.07 (very valid), the scientific approach aspect was 92.08 (very valid) and the KPMM aspect was 95.22 (very valid). . The practicality result on the small group test was 90.43 (very practical) and on the field test it was 83.96 (practical). From the results of expert assessments, small group tests and field tests, it was concluded that the mathematics learning media produced was valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an electronic module for derivatives of algebraic functions to facilitate the mathematical comprehension ability of class XI senior high school students who have met the requirements for validity and practicality. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The sample in this assessment is class XII MAN 2 students in Pekanbaru City. Two data collection instruments for the electronic module development are a validation sheet to see the electronic module's validity level and a student response questionnaire to see the electronic module's practicality level. Based on the validation results from three experts, it was obtained that the electronic module has an average score of 3.47 with a very valid category. The trials conducted on students were carried out twice, namely small group trials and then large group trials. Based on the results of a small group trial of students, it was obtained that the electronic module had an average score of 3.67 with a very practical category. Based on the results of a large group trial of students, it was obtained that the electronic module had a score of 3.78 with a very practical category. Therefore, it is concluded that the electronic module of derived material of algebraic functions developed has met the requirements of validity and practicality to facilitate the mathematical comprehension ability of class XI SMA / MA students.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan menerapkan model  Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian 32 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap. Dalam proses pembelajaran, digunakan perangkat pembelajaran, yang terdiri atas Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Lembar Aktifitas Siswa, media pembelajaran, dan lembar pengamatan aktifitas siswa. Sebelum pelaksanaan tindakan kelas dikumpulkan data dokumentasi dari guru bahwa jumlah siswa yang telah mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Minimum (KKM) hanya 6 dari 32 siswa. Dalam proses pembelajaran, dilakukan pengamatan aktifitas siswa dan di akhir setiap siklus, dilakukan tes formatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh informasi bahwa proses pembelajaran semakin membaik dari siklus pertama ke siklus ke dua, dan jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM hasil belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan. Di akhir siklus pertama jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM bertambah 14 siswa sehingga menjadi 20 siswa. Di akhir siklus ke dua, jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM bertambah 8 siswa sehingga menjadi 28 siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.  AbstractThis study aimed to increased students’mathematics achievement of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap in odd semesters of academic year 2022/2023 with application Problem-Based Learning model. This study were the classroom action research consist of two cycles with subject 32 students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap. In the learning process, used learning devices consisting of Syllabus, lesson’ plans, Students’ worksheet, learning media, and observation sheet. Before implementation of classroom action research, collected data of documentation through the teacher amount students who have reached criteria minimum achievement (KKM) and only 6 out of 32 students. In the learning process, done observation activity student and at the end of every cycle, done test formative. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained information that learning process the more getting better from first cycle to second cycle, and students who achieved KKM of mathematics’ echievement had more extention. At the end of first cycle, the students who achieved the KKM increased by 14 students, so that to 20 students. At the end of second cycle, the students who achieved KKM increased by another eight students to 28 students. The application of Problem-Based Learning model have been increased students’mathematics achievement of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Peranap in odd semesters of academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena pentingnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (KPMM) dan pentingnya perangkat pembelajaran sebagai perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) berupa perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus, RPP dan LKPD) yang valid dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang dipilih adalah model 4D. Hasil validasi produk memenuhi kriteria valid dimana nilai rata-rata untuk Silabus sebesar 3,58, RPP 3,56 dan LKPD 3,40 dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Peneliti melakukan uji coba kelompok kecil bersama dengan enam orang peserta didik, setelah LKPD direvisi sesuai saran validator. Hasil analisis kepraktisan LKPD memenuhi syarat praktis dengan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 3,84 dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”. Dengan demikian, maka produk yang dikembangkan telah valid dan praktis pada materi lingkaran kelas VIII SMP/MTs.

Abstract

Aware of the importance of the role and function of mathematics, the quality of mathematics learning needs serious attention to achieve the goals set. Mathematical problem-solving skills are important abilities that students must possess to solve a problem. Currently, the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability (KPMM) of students in Indonesia is relatively low. The cause of the low KPMM students is that students only memorize the formulas the teacher gives without understanding the systematic concepts in implementing learning. Another thing is that students have not been able to do questions different from the teacher's example questions. KPMM can be developed by implementing learning, namely by allowing students to solve problems related to daily life. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) was chosen as a learning innovation to facilitate KPMM. In its implementation, PBL needs to be supported by good mathematics learning tools. Therefore, this study aims to develop mathematics learning tools in the form of Silbus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and Student Activity Sheet (LAS) using the PBL model to facilitate KPMM for grade IX junior high school / MTs students who are valid and practical. The development model used is the 4-D model.

Abstract

This service activity aims to (1) improve the ability of teachers about mathematical material that contains ability of mathematical understanding, mathematical problem solving, or mathematical connections; (2) Providing knowledge to teachers about strategies of mathematical problem solving; and (3) drill teachers to solve mathematical problems that contain ability of mathematical understanding, mathematical problem solving, or mathematical connections. Activities carried out with a pattern of 40 hours @ 45 minutes, consisting of 18 hours face to face (first day and last day), and 22 hours of independent activity (2 weeks). In the independent activities the teacher is given the task of working on the questions at home and discussed again at the second meeting. The results of the analysis of the initial test answers obtained an average of 49.58 with the highest value of 90 and the lowest value of 15. Strengthening the material at the time of the training was more emphasized on materials not yet mastered by the teacher. After the training, the average teacher mastery increased at the final test to 75.56. It can be concluded that this community service activity can empower the community in Kampar Kiri sub-district especially the mastery of mathematics teachers in solving mathematical problems.
