Abstract

This article is based on the limited lecture model for Kapita Selekta Mathematics (KSM) courses. The purpose of writing this article is to identify the perception of lecturers and students to PBW in Prodi PMT FTK UIN Suska Riau seen from: 1) the existence of math-based learning website; 2) understanding of lecturers and students regarding the existence of PBW; and 3) problems in implementing PBW. This article uses quantitative descriptive research. The subjects involved consisted of three lecturers and seven students. Data were collected through PBW utilization questionnaires. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. This article presents some conclusions, among others: 1) lecturers and students do not understand the importance of PBW; 2) PBW has the advantage and good quality in supporting the learning process of mathematics; and 3) the main problem in implementing PBW is infrastructure especially in WiFi /hotspot facility and lecturers ability

Abstract

This research is based on the low mathematical representation ability of students and the lack of textbooks used by teachers in presenting teaching material. This study aims to describe the results of the development of information technology-based teaching materials to improve the mathematical representation ability of students in class X Trigonometry Function Materials that are valid, practical, and effective. The model used in this research development is the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments used in this article are validation sheets (validity aspects), teacher assessment sheets and student assessment sheets (practical aspects), and mathematical representation ability tests (effectiveness aspects). Analysis of the data used in this research is parametric statistics, the t-test with the help of SPSS 18.00 using the Independent-Sample t-Test. This research resulted in a product of teaching materials based on information and technology in valid mathematics (87.11%), practical (90.81%) and effective (0.043 <0.05).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal learning outcomes of students due to the lack of learning devices that are considered being able to train students’ abilities in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to develop mathematics learning tools that meet the validity, practicality, and effectiveness requirements to improve the learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP / MTs on material number patterns. The development model used is the ADDIE model for designing learning systems. The instruments used were syllabus validation instruments, RPP, LKPD, practicality instruments and effectiveness instruments. The technique used is the technique of collecting observation data, interviews, questionnaire documentation and tests. Mathematics learning to use the MASTER Plan technique based on a scientific approach is already valid with the results of syllabus validation 84.25%, RPP 90.30%, LKPD 86.50%. This learning device fulfills the practical requirements for large group trials with an average of 93.52% results and an average student questionnaire response rate of 95.66%. The use of effective learning tools to improve student learning outcomes for KKM achievement is 83.33%.

Abstract

The background of this research is the limited of mathematics learning devices that corresponds to 2013 curriculum. The purpose of this research is to produce learning devices in the form that are Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan, and Student Activity Sheet by using discovery learning models in the material of Quadrilateral and Triangle class of VII SMP/MTs. The development model in this research used 4D model with four steps, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The research’s instrument used were validity instruments and practicality instruments. The learning device developed were validated by three validators and revised according to the suggestions of the validator. The average results of the analysis syllabus validation was 3.75 with a very valid category and the average results for the analysis Learning Implementation Plan validation and Student Activity Sheet validation results were 3.76 with a very valid category. The results of this validation analysis show that the Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan, and Student Activity Sheet are considered valid. Valid learning device was then tested on a small group. The results of data analysis on the practicality of using Student Activity Sheet in small group trials is 3.50 which very practical category. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the product of development in the form of mathematics learning devices uses discovery learning models on the material of Quadrilateral and Triangle grade VII of SMP/MTs have been assessed as valid and suitable for use.

Abstract

This article is based on the limited lecture model for Kapita Selekta Mathematics (KSM) courses.  This article aims to reveal the results of technology validation of the website of the mathematics proficiency course (KSM) on UIN Suska Riau students. This article uses a development research model that uses Sugiyono's research steps but only limited to two stages, namely design stage and product validation stage. The validated aspect of the learning website is graphic feasibility and program feasibility with indicators: 1) the size of the learning website, 2) the design of the learning website, and 3) the design of the content of the learning website. The validation instrument is a questionnaire using Likert scale that is filled by three expert technology experts. Assessment of the validity of the learning web on the aspect of feasibility of the graphics resulted in a total validity value of 3.9 with valid categories. As for the web learning on the feasibility aspect of the program to produce the value of validity as a whole that is 4 with valid categories

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP dan LKPD menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis etnomatematika untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik pada materi bangun ruang sisi yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Uji coba yang dilakukan adalah uji coba kelompok kecil yang terdiri dari 9 orang peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata silabus sebesar 3,66, RPP sebesar 3,47, LKPD sebesar 3,60 dan kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 88,92%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis pada materi perbandingan kelas VII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, desseminate). Instrumen penelitian utama meliputi lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata silabus 3,55, RPP 3,57, dan LAS 3,37. Selain itu, LAS memiiki kategori sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 3,45.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengemukakan hasil analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar fungsi trigonometri berbasis TI. Data dalam artikel ini dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket melalui bantuan google form yang diisi oleh tiga orang guru matematika dan 20 orang siswa kelas X SMA IT Al-bayyinah semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018, lalu dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Objek kajian dalam artikel ini mencakup: 1) kesesuain KI dan KD, 2) bahan ajar yang digunakan guru, dan 3) kebutuhan guru dan siswa terkait bahan ajar berbasis TI. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Semua materi pada bahan ajar sudah sesuai dengan KI dan KD 3.11; 2) Guru dan siswa menggunakan bahan lain selain buku dari sekolah untuk membantu dalam memahami suatu materi; dan 3) Guru dan siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar berbasis IT yang dapat digunakan untuk mempelajari konsep fungsi trigonometri, karena sejalan dengan perkembangan informasi dan teknologi. Dengan demikian, dapat dipahami bahwa bahan ajar berbasis IT diperlukan.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik sangat dibutuhkan. Hal ini didasarkan pada informasi yang ditemukan peneliti saat obeservasi di beberapa sekolah bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik masih rendah. Tujuan riset ini dilakukan yaitu untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dengan menerapkan model discovery learning yang valid dan praktis untuk materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV) kelas X SMA. Jenis riset yang dilaksanakan peneliti merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menerapkan model R&D oleh Borg and Gall (Musmahmud, 2017). Instrumen pengumpulan data praktikalitas pada riset ini berupa angket respon peserta didik dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru. Praktikalitas perangkat pembelajaran pada uji coba terbatas yaitu 96,22% serta lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru 91,66%. Kesimpulan pada riset ini yaitu perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan menerapkan model discovery learning praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.
