Abstract

In this growing era, Umrah Travel business in Indonesia significantly growing rapidly. This study discussed an Examination of Muslim Travelers’ Satisfaction on Umrah Tour Packages. Umrah services quality measured by accommodation, mobility, caretaking, food services, and problem solving. This research uses a quantitative research method and non-probability sampling with snowball sampling and distributed to 130 Muslim travellers. Tests used in this research were validity and reliability (as a pre-test), classical assumption tests and multiple regression test to test hypotheses. The result affirmed only hypothesis two (2) was rejected. It shows accommodation, caretaking, food services and problem solving have significant impacts on satisfaction, whereas mobility have not significant impacts on satisfaction. This study also shows that all variables in Umrah services quality (accommodation, mobility, caretaking, food services, and problem solving) have simultaneously significant impact on satisfaction of 36.6%

Abstract

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically changed the conditions of the beauty industry. The beauty industry is a very interactive process with people trying, testing, and smelling the product. After the lockdown is enforced, like it or not, beauty products have to change direction into online selling. Online experience, sending out free samples, re-writing product descriptions, and improving images to encourage people to buy online. Additionally, the products offered should also be products that are safe to use, naturally-derived ingredients. Theory of Social Exchange Theory is used in this research to support the value chain of The Body Shop as a corporate campaign in society and environmental issues in pandemic.This research will emphasize one of the world's beauty products with the tagline "Enrich our Planet," The Body Shop. The method is qualitative research, where the researchers evaluate the Values Chain of The Body Shop. This study proves The Body Shop's readiness to face the post-pandemic survivability as posted strong revenue growth though during the Covid-19 pandemic. It can ensure that it survives because it pays great attention to society and its products' environmental issues.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare students' entrepreneurial intelligence between those who intend to be entrepreneurs and those who do not. This study employs a quantitative approach with a comparative technique. Through a google form, data were collected from 186 students as samples. The questionnaire is made up of questions pertaining to business motivation and business intelligence. The data were analyzed using the t-test to determine the difference between two groups. The findings of this study indicate that students who intend to become entrepreneurs have a greater level of entrepreneurial intelligence than those who do not.

Abstract

 Salah satu upaya untuk menambah pendapatan para petani adalah dengan mengolah limbah padi menjadi suatu produk yang memiliki nilai jual seperti arang sekam atau briket. Arang sekam memiliki banyak manfaat baik di dunia pertanian maupun untuk kebutuhan industri. Sekam padi dari hasil panen yang berlimpah, oleh sebagian petani biasanya dibakar untuk dijadikan pupuk, ada juga yang dijual langsung dengan harga yang sangat murah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, muncul ide untuk membuat alat-alat untuk memproses sekam padi menjadi produk yang bernilai jual lebih tinggi,  yaitu untuk pembakaran sekam menjadi arang sekam yang kemudian diolah lebih lanjut menjadi produk akhir berupa briket. Briket arang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan memasak, penerangan, maupun industri. Penelitian ini diawali dengan mengadakan pertemuan dengan komunitas petani di Desa Sukamaju, Kecamatan Tambelang, Kabupaten Bekasi untuk mengetahui kondisi dilapangan dan mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan. Proses berikutnya adalah merancang dan membuat alat pembuat arang sekam dan mesin pencetak arang sekam menjadi briket. Rancangan alat pembuat arang dilakukan untuk membuat arang dengan mempertimbangkan aliran udara saat pengarangan agar menghasilkan waktu yang lebih cepat dan mengurangi penyebaran asap, sedangkan pada perancangan mesin cetak briket arang dilakukan perhitungan kekuatan komponen mesin cetak yang diperlukan.  Setelah alat yang dibutuhkan selesai, dilakukan uji coba alat dan hasilnya memperlihatkan bahwa proses pembuatan arang membutuhkan waktu 20-30 menit untuk 10 kg sekam. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan komponen mesin cetak menunjukkan bahwa mesin cetak aman untuk digunakan. Hasil observasi menemukan bahwa saat ini sekam dihargai Rp 1000 per kg, dan arang sekam Rp 3000 sampai Rp 5000 per kg, sedangkan harga jual briket arang sekam bisa mencapai Rp 15.000 per kg. Dengan demikian, pengolahan sekam padi menjadi briket arang secara ekonomis akan lebih menguntungkan bagi para petani.

Abstract

Waste management in households can make waste as a resource and provide benefits for the manager. One way to manage organic waste is to make it into liquid fertilizer using composting bins that can be used independently by households. In this community service activity aims to educate households on how to use composting barrels. The activities carried out are by holding training on making barrels as well as procedures for turning organic waste into liquid pupu for housewives who directly handle waste in their households. This activity was carried out in a residential area in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency with a total of 45 participants. The training was conducted for one day, starting with a briefing on the formation of a RW-level waste management organization, followed by making composting bins and making bins together. Participants in this training are generally 40-45 years old (40%) with high school education (64%). In this training, 1 composting bin has been successfully made using a container that was used as a chemical container that was deliberately purchased from a secondhand goods trader. This training is expected to educate housewives to be able to manage organic waste into liquid fertilizer and can increase their income because it still has economic value.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the sustainability of family business through the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the community surrounding the company. As many research studies mentioned that family businesses are often strongly anchored in the local community, the high commitment to the local community will leads to a high degree of socially responsible acting. Qualitative method is used in the form of a case of an Indonesian small business in Bogor. The data collection is done using direct methods like observation, interview, and going through the company documentations to comprehend the case situation. The result of the research shows that the CSR implementation, in case observed, was in accordance with the needs of surrounding community. The CSR activities were in the form of the education, religious activities, public facilities, employee and community empowerment. The community and the company were supporting each other in order to make the activity success. This study concludes that this symbiotic CSR could be new model for family business enterprises sustainability through CSR.

Abstract

Riau Islands is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has exotic and potential tourist attractions. Batam and Bintan are one of the tourist magnetism in Riau Islands. This study aims to examine the participation of local people in tourism growth. Researchers collected primer data through interviews with representative of local government, stakeholders in tourism industry and communities. The result show that local government has programs for tourism expansion such as empowerment of local communities, conduct cultural activities, build facilities and infrastructures. Even though local government has created tourism establishment programs but local community participation is also an important factor for sustainability of tourism development.Keywords: Community participation, tourism development, Riau Islands

Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) has increased, follows by various innovations that lead to efficient, safe, fast, and convenience. One type of Fintech in Indonesia is a non-cash payment using an electronic wallet (e-wallet). People started to do the transaction through their mobile using electronic wallet  (e-wallet)  in daily life. However, people still prefer to use cash transaction caused by the security concern also e-wallet application often experiences an error during transaction. Thus, there is a need to investigate the people's acceptance of using this e-wallet to make a transaction. This study aims to evaluate one of Indonesia's e-wallet services using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM emphasizes perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and behaviour intention to use. It also investigates the perceived risk and Trust as TAM's external variables to test the technology's acceptance. A quantitative research method was employed utilizing the survey method. Data was collected from a sample of 113 e-wallet users in the Jabodetabek area. This study used The Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method. From this study was discovered that the Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Risk, and Trust are essential factors for predicting the user's intention to use an e-wallet as a mobile payment application. This study's recommendation reduces the potential risk of the e-wallet application, provides training, and socialization about e-wallet transactions. Additionally, the government may provide regulation or a system that can guarantee users' security of transactions. Keywords: e-wallet, Fintech, perceived risk, Trust, TAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impulsive behaviour using a brand image, brand ambassadors, service quality, and customer satisfaction on Tokopedia re-purchase intention. In this study, a quantitative approach was used to collect data from an online questionnaire (Google Form) for the Tokopedia users who had made a transaction more than once. The online questionnaire was distributed via social media and received 145 valid responses, with PLS-SEM being used to analyze the hypothesis testing of this research. The result shows that brand image indirectly influences the re-purchase intention of Tokopedia mediated by impulsive behaviour. The brand ambassador also has an indirect influence on the re-purchase intention of Tokopedia mediated by customer satisfaction and impulsive behaviour, and service quality has a direct and indirect influence on the re-purchase intention of Tokopedia mediated by customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction and impulsive behaviour have a significant influence on the re-purchase intention of Tokopedia. Tokopedia must pay attention to factors interested in re-purchase intention, which means that Tokopedia should maintain service quality and customer satisfaction and improve customers' experience when customers make impulsive behaviour.

Abstract

This paper profoundly examines the tourism value chain for a strategic advantage. A descriptive method was conducted by surveys and in-depth interviews with stakeholders in Cikadu Edutourism, including businesses, SMEs, community people, academicians, and the media. The value chain components of edutourism value chain's development strategy were evaluated to construct a comprehensive chain. Our findings indicate that the proposed programs could give Cikadu Edutourism a competitive edge by enhancing the quality of life, increasing revenue as a product sold to visitors, and a range of other benefits.
