Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh metode bercerita terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hadjar Dewantoro Kec. Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hipotesis metode bercerita terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen one group pretest- posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 36 orang. Uji normalitas dengan menggunakan Uji Lilliefors dan diperoleh nilai L0 < Ltabel yaitu pada pre test nilai L00,138 dan post test nilai L00,096 sedangkan untuk nilai Ltabel0,149 data hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk data pre test dan post test berdistribusi normal. Homogenitas varians uji barlett statistik chi kuadrat diperoleh 0,983 < 3,841 maka data tersebut homogen, pengujian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan teknik uji hipotesis yang akan digunakan karena data homogen uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah statistik uji t. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu thitung 5,68 dan ttabel 1,67. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari kemampuan menyimak anak sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan atau metode bercerita. Dengan perbedaan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh metode bercerita terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak.

Abstract

Education underwent changes during the emergency period of Covid-19 spread, including Equivalency education in taking measures in response to and anticipation of Covid-19 spread, not having face-to-face learning activity, and changing to online learning. This research aimed to examine the impact of distance/online learning on Equivalency education in Indonesia. This research used quantitative method and survey approach to collect information of distance learning in equivalency education. The respondents were tutors and students of package A, package B, and package C in Sumatra Island, Java Island, and Nusa Tenggara. The research sample consisted of 129 equivalency tutors and 148 equivalence students. The data were collected via online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by presenting the frequency distribution. The research results show that the preparation for distance learning in the facilities and infrastructures aspects in support of learning was not optimal, as shown with low-power and uneven internet network. The learning components were prepared based on the standard determined by tutors themselves referring to the curriculum. The ability of using learning information technology was still a problem because of low digital literacy. Learning was carried out through various platforms of learning management system and social media and the seTara Daring platform prepared by the ministry of education was not used for uniformity of distance/online learning. Assignment was dominant in the learning method. Learning evaluation was carried out through presentation, questions and answers, practice, daily quiz, mid-term exam, and final exam. The inconsistent connectivity between teachers, students, and parents led to students’ affective achievement not in line with learning objective. Therefore, improvement is needed in the implementation of distance/online learning covering improved facilities, application with user friendly platforms, and efficient, continuous and integrative online socialization.

Abstract

The core issues have been examined in this study including the relationships of the teacher’s involvement in decision making, interpersonal communication, and work motivation of the BPKB teachers in Gorontalo Province. This study used survey method with correlation techniques. The sample was the whole population of the 47 teachers by using total sampling or sample saturated. Based on the analysis of data concluded results namely 1) there is a positive relationship between teacher’s involvements in decision-making with the work motivation. 2) There is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication and the work motivation of teachers, 3) There is a positive relationship between involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication simultaneously on the work motivation of teachers. These results indicated that the higher of teachers’ involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication, the work motivation is increasing.

Abstract

Healthy life behavior amongst primary school students need to be reviewed concerning that healthy behavior at primary school age as a basic foundation for the healthy growth and development. Growth and healthy development would be enabling conditions for a variety of children's activities, including learning. This research aimed to grasp an overview of the correlation between health behavior and academic achievement of students. This research design was correlational with a sample size of 30 students. Based on the analysis of data, there is a significant correlation between health behavior and academic achievement of students. In this case the better the health behavior of students, the better the academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to study the effect of behavioral counseling teacher leadership and school climate on student character development in the SKB Limboto Gorontalo. The results showed that that there is a significant positive correlation between leadership behaviors and character development. In addition, there is a significant positive correlation between school climate and character development. Leadership behavior and school climate also significantly correlate with with character development. Leadership behavior and school climate contribute to character development.

Abstract

This study intended to determine the symptoms and the factors of post-power syndrome, as well as some efforts of the teachers in deal with retirement. The qualitative method was used in this study and data was collected through observation, interview and some documentations studied. Sources of data were two retired teachers in MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The result shown some symptoms experienced by the subjects comprised to get closer in worship activities, but emotionally be more temperamental. The most prominent factors of post-power syndrome among the two informants included the loss of social contact with their co-workers, in addition to losing positions, loss of dignity and a sense of meaning, as well as the loss of income sources. Due to retirement, their activities and routines seemed disconnected from other teacher’s activities so both of them felt losing social contact with colleagues. Some efforts for minimizing the symptoms of post-power syndrome was involving in forum gathering that held by the school.

Abstract

This research was conducted as an evaluation on cooperative supervision by the principal in increasing teaching creativity at SMAN 1 Tolangohula in Gorontalo with research subject was 16 teachers. Based on the findings of the observation and data analysis a conclusion obtained that increasing of academic supervision by the principal through individualized counseling techniques has improved the quality of teaching creativity. Teacher should optimize their creativity in planning, learning implementation, and interpersonal relationships with students, because those types of creativity are very substantive elements in enhancing the teachers’ professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada K.I.A Tours & Travel Jakarta Selatan. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja pada K.I.A Tours & Travel Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 40 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Karena itu, analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam bentuk uji regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial variabel gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan K.I.A Tours & Travel Jakarta Selatan. Sedangkan hasil lain dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa variabel motivasi secara parsial tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan K.I.A Tours & Travel Jakarta Selatan.

Abstract

Kecenderungan mengikuti gaya hidup yang baru, yang «trendy»  dan menempatkan nilai-nilai baru dalam ukuran keberhasilan telah merusak dan menghancurkan nilai-nilai tradisional yang sebelumnya dipegang teguh dan diyakini sebagai kebenaran. Nilai yang mementingkan kebersamaan dan menumbuhkan sikap gotong royong dilibas oleh nilai individualistis. Nilai yang meletakkan unsur spiritual berganti dengan unsur materi. Sikap yang mementingkan keselarasan dalam kehidupan bersama, sebagaimana yang telah mewarnai kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia, diubah menjadi sikap yang selalu mau bersaing dan memenangkan persaingan, tak peduli apapun caranya dan siapapun yang dihadapi. Didalam pendidikan khususnya pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam ditekankan bahwa kita harus menegakan agama yaitu agama Islam secara keseluruhan didalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam ini diharapkan kita lebih meningkatkan motivasi beragama.Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas penulis tertarik untuk meneliti tentang efektifitas metode diskusi dan metode ceramah dalam meningkatkan motivasi beragama pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa Kelas IX di SMP 03 dan 07 Kota Gorontalo.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah efektifitas metode diskusi dan metode ceramah dalam meningkatkan motivasi beragama pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa Kelas IX di SMP 03 dan 07 Kota Gorontalo
