Improvement of primary school students’ activeness and outcome using discovery learning model in mathematics Pingky Fitriany Pasaribu; Firosalia Kristin; Indri Anugraheni

This study aims to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SD Negeri Randuacir 02 Salatiga Semester II Year 2018/2019 using the discovery learning model. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were 29 students in grade 5. Procedure for classroom action research in the form of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The action was carried out in two cycles with each cycle of three meetings. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests. The data analysis technique is done by using descriptive comparative analysis in the form of a percentage comparison in the initial conditions before the action is taken, the results of the first cycle, and the results of the second cycle. The results showed an increase in the activeness and learning outcomes of mathematics through the implementation of the discovery learning model. This is evidenced in the rubric of the activity of the first cycle, the average value is 29.66, the criteria are quite good, increasing in the second cycle with the average score being 45.03 criteria very good. The learning outcomes with the KKM provisions are 70, in the pre-cycle only 17.24% were completed, in the first cycle it increased to 55.18%, and in the second cycle the action increased to 72.41%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas 5. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN 1Ngambakrejo.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes.Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 SDN 1 Ngambakrejo setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hal tersebut dibuktikandengan peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yaitu pada tahap siklus I nilai rata-rata 62,3. Selanjutnya pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 77. Pada hasil belajar siswa juga terjadi peningkatan, hal tersebut ditunjukan dariketuntasan hasil belajarsiswapada tahap siklus I sebanyak 11 siswa denga persentase 40,7dan semakin meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 19 siswa dengan persentase 70,3. AbstrakMedia komik ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi berbahasa siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 3 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Researchand Development (R & D) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengembangan dengan model ADDIE melalui beberapa tahapan diantaranya Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas 3 dengan jumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa validasi dari ahli media dan materi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa media komik yang dihasilkan: (1) kevalitan data yang diperleh dari penilaian ahli media 85% dan dari ahli materi 90% yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. (2) Respon dari angket guru dan siswa terhadap penggunaan media komik juga masuk dalam kategori yang sangat baik, perolehan angket guru adalah 90% dan angket respon siswa memperoleh skor 89.5%. (3) hasil observasi kompetesi berbahasa siswa mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum menggunakan media komik hanya 48.5% dan setelah menggunakan media komik menjadi 71.25%, artinya kompetensi berbahasa siswa meningkat 22.75%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, angket respon guru dan siswa yang rata-rata menunjukan kategori baik, maka media komik Bahasa Indonesia yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan kompetensi berbahasanya.Kata kunci: komik, kompetensi berbahasa siswaAbstractThis comic media aims to develop the language competence of students in 3rd grade Indonesian language learning. This study uses a type of research Research Development (R & D) that uses the ADDIE development model. Development with the ADDIE model through several stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Research subjects in grade 3 students with a total of 20 people. The data collection technique is in the form of validation from media and material experts. The results of the study show that the comic media produced: (1) the validity of the data obtained from the assessment of media experts is 85% and from the material experts 90% are included in the excellent category. (2) The responses from teacher and student questionnaires to the use of comic media also fall into a very good category, the acquisition of teacher questionnaires is 90% and the student questionnaire scores 89.5%. (3) the results of the observation of language competency of students experienced an increase from before using the comic media only 48.5% and after using the comic media became 71.25%, meaning that students' language competencies increased by 22.75%. Based on the results of the validation of material experts, media experts, teacher and student response questionnaires which showed good categories on average, the Indonesian language comic media developed properly was used to help students improve their language competence.Keywords: comics, student language competence

This study aims to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models in Grade 4 Mathematics learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 4th grade students of SDN Randuacir 02, amounting to 25 students. Data collection techniques are carried out using tests in the form of questions and non-tests in the form of rubrics. This study uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of 4th grade students of SDN Randuacir 02 through application using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This is evidenced by the increase in students' critical thinking, namely in the first cycle the average value is 58.92. Whereas, in cycle 2 there was an increase in the average value of 80.28. Experiencing an increase in the completeness of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the pre-cycle stage as many as 7 students with an average value of 55.00, then increasing in the first cycle as many as 10 students with the average score of 63.52 and increasing again in cycle 2 to 22 students with an average score of 82.00Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Critical Thinking, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

Abstrak: Mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan Active Learning tipe Card Sort, meningkatkan kemandirian dan hasil belajar IPS melalui Active Learning tipe Card Sort di kelas 5 SD Negeri Lopait 01 adalah tujuan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini berjenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian hasil belajar pra siklus (40,74%) siklus I meningkat (74,07%) meningkat lagi siklus II (92,59%). Hasil penelitian kemandirian belajar, pra siklus (68,8%) siklus I meningkat (76,94%) meningkat lagi siklus II, (81,67%). Dengan demikian penerapan Active Learning tipe Card Sort dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Lopait 01. Abstract: Knowing the steps of implementing Active Learning Card Sort type, increasing the independence and learning outcomes of IPS through Active Learning Card Sort type in 5th grade State Elementary School Lopait 01 is the purpose of this research. This research is a Class Action Research type. Data analysis techniques using test and non test. Result of research result of pre cycle study (40,74%) cycle I increase (74,07%) increase again cycle II (92,59%). Result of research self-reliance learning, pre cycle (68,8%) cycle I increase (76,94%) increase again cycle II, (81,67%). Thus the implementation of Active Learning Card Sort type can improve the independence of learning and learning outcomes IPS 5th grader Elementary School Elementary School Lopait 01.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa. PTK adalah jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri Tegalrejo 01 yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan kreativitas belajar pra siklus sebesar 41,38% meningkat menjadi 62,07% pada siklus I dan 89,65% pada siklus II. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar pra siklus menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 37,93% kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 65,52% dan 93,10% pada siklus II. Abstract: This study aims to improve the creativity and learning outcomes of science students. PTK is the type of research used in this study. The subjects of the study were the 3rd graders of SD Negeri Tegalrejo 01, which amounted to 29 students. Data collection techniques used are test techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in the form of descriptive quantitative and qualitative. This is seen from the increase of pre-cycle learning creativity by 41.38% increased to 62.07% in the first cycle and 89.65% in cycle II. While for pre-cycle learning result show mastery learn equal to 37,93% then increase in cycle I become 65,52% and 93,10% in cycle II.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Jenis penelitian ini PTK subjek penelitian siswa kelas 5. Teknik analisis data berupa nilai tes,data hasil observasi, rubrik kreativitas. Kreativitas Prasiklus siswa kelas V sedang 6 (27,3%) , rendah 16(72,7%). siklus I 5(22,7%) tinggi, 10(45,5%) sedang, dan 7 (31,8%) sangat rendah. Siklus II 4(18%) sangat tinggi, 9(41%) tinggi, dan 9 (41%) rendah. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa prasiklus Bahasa Indonesia 10(46%). Siklus I 14(64%) pada siklus II 18(82%) .IPA prasiklus 9 (41%), siklus I 13(59%), siklus II 18(82%). SBDP prasiklus 12(54,5%), siklus I 16(73%),siklus II 19(86%). Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Genting 01 pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek semua siswa kelas IV melalui II siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Rata--rata nilai motivasi belajar siswa pada kondisi awal 43,15, Siklus I 60,7 dan Siklus II 83,95.Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa pada kondisi awal 54,15, pada Siklus I 75,75 dan Siklus II 89,25. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Genting 02. Abstract: The main purpose of the research is to increase student’s motivation and academic achievment of fourth grade at SD Negeri Genting 01 of mathematic using Numbered Head Together of cooperative learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research with the subject all of students at fourth grade through 2 cycles. Data collection is done by using test and non test techniques. An average of learning motivation at initial condition showed 43,15, in cycle I 60,7 and cycle II 83,95. An average of students academic achievment at initial condition showed 54,15 in cycle I 75,75 and at cycle II 89,25. It was concluded that used Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model can increase students motivation and academic achievment of fourth grade at SD Negeri Genting 01.
